Great Friday night out some family friends. High quality food and even better service! Make sure you ask for the young chap Emilio. His service was impeccable!

I was really happy with my meal today my waitress Tracey was really funny and happy she explained the menu really well and had all good service for my time at Frankie & Bennies.

Visited on Halloween night, we got seated very quickly. Food was amazing and so are the cocktails. Thank you so much to our server Lefti who was brilliant, always checking up on things throughout our visit and just genuinely a happy enjoyable experience. Would definitely recommend and be back again.

Was empty when we came in but soon filled up, the 2 waiters struggled. We felt rushed when ordered as the waiter kept saying yes yes yes straight after we told him each thing we wanted. We waited 1 hour for the food and then just left and couldn’t get hold of the waiter and then when we did he said yes your next but then forgot to come back we just wanted to order more drinks but unfortunately couldn’t. Once I managed to get his attention for the 3rd time 2 hours after we came in, he came over and asked what dessert we wanted and we said we don’t know as still waiting for a dessert menu he said they are on the back of the kids drawing sheet but we said we wanted an adult menu. He then said he would come back and we finally got his attention another 30 minutes after that. By that point our young children were becoming very restless and just wanted their ice creams. Another 50 minutes passed before I asked about the desserts and he said they won’t be a minute no they were another 15 minutes for desserts !!!!! We spend nearly 4 hours in there for lunch for 4 of us. Don’t go here if your in a hurry

Orderd delivery . Driver got lost and could not find us. We have had previous deliveries without issue . Unfotunately the food arrived cold( not all) Sent back pizza to be replaced, no replacement has been received . The phone was not being answered and the message states no facilities to leave a message ! Disappointing

Went above and beyond to cater for me as I’m lactose, ordered the wrong thing as had same name and they had no issue fixing the problem and were very sorry about it. Pizza was banging too

On arrival we were told there would be a short wait to which we said yeah no worries thinking it wouldn’t be at least an hours wait for the food.. We ordered our drinks at the start with our mains as we had a film to see after and thought that might speed it up. That was NOT the case. 1 whole hour later we had no communication with an update on our food, we’d had enough at this point and was going to be late to our film so with that my boyfriend had to get our waiters attention (which was not easy) to tell her we just wanted to pay for the drinks. He said this in a polite manner but the waiter responded offensively and said “we’re trying our best”. She said we could pay for the drinks and leave however she took another 10 minutes to come over and she didn’t have the bill.. no no, she had our food..even though we had said we need to leave otherwise we will miss our film and had asked to just pay for the drinks which she’d agreed to do. We said we didn’t want it and asked to pay for the drinks again. After all this we didn’t even get one sorry from the waiter. Please avoid this place if you plan on going to the cinema after because you will be late to your film like we was! We unfortunately missed the start of ours. In fact just avoid this place altogether!

Lovely staff nothing was too much. Love the new desserts as well - sundaes were all fab, we had the rocky road and strawberry pavlova. Would definitely return

Disappointing to say the least. I haven't been to a Frankie and Benny's for a long time, but always used to enjoy it, and have a good meal. However, there were 10 of us, and there were a few adult meals which turned up on what I initially thought were children's plates! Tiny meals, which included the Calzone which was always a decent size in the past. As for one of the children's burgers, the bun looked to be flat bread! I appreciate businesses are all downsizing portions, and increasing prices....but this took the idea to an extreme. Won't be going back to a Frankie's anytime soon!

Food was delicious we both had the Mediterranean Salmon but just found the grains and vegetable portion to be really stingy. Dessert was cheesecake with salted caramel, and apple crumble pie very very nice. Our waitress Wiktoria was great, she was friendly, funny and when needed really helpful! It has had a nice refurb so it feels dark, moody and comfy in there now.

Had 3 courses and was a great experience all round food was cooked fantastically, and the service from Wiktoria, who really made our whole visit extra special.

Came late on a Sunday night, served very quickly for drinks and food, food and drinks both came Out very fast, the food was all very nice, our waitress Wiktoria was extremely lovely to chat to and very helpful, a great waitress and lovely girl!

It was good but was waiting 5 mins for a table. Our drinks took a long time to get here. I ordered my food with a side salad but it was just broccoli. Also, it said on the menu it came with a veg pot with carrots, cucumber and peppers and no one got one. It was from the kids menu. Overall good because it was my birthday and they bring out a cake and the food tasted great.

If you have a severe allergy then may be best to steer clear of Frankie’s at Basildon Festival Leisure. I informed the waitress I had coeliac and she informed me anything with the GF symbol on the menu is suitable. I ordered bacon and cheese potato skins to start followed by the pepperoni pizza, both of which had the GF symbol next to it. Our food came out quickly, there were no stickers or flags or anything that indicated the food was gluten free so I checked with both the boy who gave us our food and our waitress, both of which assured me it was gluten free. After eating about half of the pizza I started to feel unwell to which I then had to go to the toilets to be sick. I asked the waitress again if the food was definitely gluten free to which she replied yes, my friend then saw her speaking to the chef and pointing over. We quickly paid the bill and left, I was sick again and unable to drive home due to feeling faint. I spent the following day in bed feeling extremely unwell. Couldn’t fault the service as our waitress was attentive and friendly, food was quick but I will not be returning.

Went for lunch here today, two carbonaras ordered, tiniest portions ever, like three tablespoons of pasta…thoroughly dissatisfied. Pizza was bland with no sauce…. Waitress had the nerve to ask for a tip…… we will never go back here again… Guess it should have been a warning sign that only one other family was in the restaurant. Never again….

Got seated very quickly, server was lovely i believe his name was Lefty. Apologies if the name has been spelled incorrectly but he was lovely and very personable and was quick with bringing our drinks and food over. He was very friendly when taking our orders and whilst paying he cracked some funny jokes as well all around a nice person

i visited this branch couple days ago and I had a steak which tasted delicious and was full of flavours, the food in general was excellent and service was exceptional. The staff and waiters were very attentive and friendly. I would really recommend it here if you are looking to grab a bite and are nearby

Kyna was super helpful for our group of 11! Food was wonderful and everything we needed was provided. Would defo return here.

We were sat at the front of the restaurant so some of our group found it a bit chilly. The waitress did a good job and was very pleasant. We all agreed that the food was generally poor and overpriced. There are much better places there like TGI or the Harvester. We won't be going back.

Booked a table for 2 at 8pm Saturday evening, we both went into Frankie and bennys at 7:30 and said to the woman at the desk if their too busy we can come back at 8 she told us they wasn’t too busy, she sat us down with menus. 25 minutes after we still wasn’t served. The same woman was still letting people in and giving them tables. I asked about being served and she just said yes one second please I’ll just get someone each time, Instead of just taking our order. We left and went to Bella Italia which was beautiful

Lovely chap who served us, seems new but did a good job. Did not appreciate the lady at the bar shouting at the staff to get drinks and everyone was looking. Could have been handled in a better way. Food came out quick and was tasty.

Staff are always doing their most, tight staffing levels yet they seem to give it their absolute all! I would hope they are well looked after by the company for their hard work food is good too!

We had a film booked 2 and a 1/2 hours prior to sitting down in frankie’s at festival leisure. 2 and a 1/2 hours later not a single plate of food was brought to the table and as we told them we had to go our film, miraculously they told us the food was coming out now but it was too late. They then had the audacity to ask us to pay for the meal in FULL 2 and a half hours after sitting down and ordering food. Unreasonable staff, rude. If you’re going to eat here make sure the film is at least 3 hours later.

I recently visited Frankie & Benny's at Festival Leisure Park in Basildon with my family, and we had an absolutely fantastic experience! This place is incredibly kid-friendly, making it a perfect spot for a family outing. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our visit was enjoyable, showing genuine warmth and attentiveness throughout our meal. The food was delicious, with a great variety to choose from, and the ambiance was lively yet comfortable. My little one especially loved the dedicated kids' menu and the activity packs that kept her entertained. Highly recommend for a delightful family dining experience!

Staff run off their feet but still managed to supply meals quickly and courteously. Pity some of the customers can't see beyond their own plate and realise that the staff were under pressure.

Didn’t even get to try the food, stood at the door for about 15 minutes. No service to greet us or take us to our table. Tried again a couple weeks later and the same thing. Such a shame used to come here all the time, really gone down hill.
