Excellent food and service. Music was a bit too loud and there were a bunch of little flies around our table in the back room. Otherwise it was totally great. Really enjoyed my Calzone. All portions were generous and delicious.

To flee⚠️ I came to share a good time with my family, but I was very disappointed with the service and also with the cleanliness of the restaurant. There were pieces of glass on the floor and dangerous for children I really don't recommend this place.

This what I been served with 2 big holes on the pizza and while I asked the staff he was like just sorry and walked off. My wife pregnant we came to spend time with our family and there was hair in the pasta. Member of staff showed attitude while I was explaining him. I am disappointed as I usually come here with my wife. I am sure this is the last time I am coming here and I will recommend Watford branch where I used to go. If managers need to see which table this happen I was at the last table near the bar. Hopefully you guys can improve these kind of things as we pay for food not for holes.

Good food, but crowded most of the time. If you are unlucky enough to find a birthday party you can see the staff acting like apes, banging in pots and pans, thinking that is what a restaurant should do. I mentioned to the supervisor or whatever is that one there that the waiter can't hold a plate properly without sticking his fingers in the food and been told to go and bring him a better one. So if you want good service bring your own waiter as well.

Have been here a number of times,but not up to usual standard. Spinach side order arrived on a cold plate! Affogato was either made with cold coffee or was not brought to our table as soon as it was made,as coffee was as cold as icecream. Although staff were helpful,they were not as cheerful as previous ones that the restaurant has had.

Good spot for good yet affordable food. The staff are very friendly. However the pizza menu states “traditional pizza” and lists “Hawaiian pizza”, not sure Italians will agree with that LOL

I honestly don’t understand how this restaurant is operating at the moment. First of all be prepared that your hair, clothes and everything smell of garlic, sea food or pizza depending on what they’re cooking. Second of all the quality of the food is so poor, that the prices doesn’t match the quality Im so shocked. Paying £40 per person and not eating anything good is so disappointing …

Abbiamo mangiato benissimo. Locale italiano con personale davvero professionale e molto divertente. La pizza è davvero su altissimi standard, considerando che ci si trova fuori dall'italiano. Il.bravo pizzaiolo (lode a te) è delle Marche. Ci mette tutto il cuore nella preparazione delle pizze. Pasta , dolci e tutto il resto viaggiano su alti livelli. Molto divertenti i canti e tamburelli per omaggiare chi compie gli anni. Il personale è composto anche da bravi Avellinesi. Prezzi davvero nella norma. Come in Italia. Posto spazioso. Consigliata la prenotazione. Non vedo l'ora di tornare di nuovo. P.S.: mi fa sempre commuovere il personale che lavora all'estero. Sono attaccatissimi alla nostra Patria. Poor service. Far from authentic Italian

Great size portions and very nice and attentive staff!

Italian food is one of my favourite cuisines and the conundrum I always face is whether I should order pizza or pasta. This place makes it even worse for me because the menu is extensive. The tomato-based pasta dishes are flavourful and moreish. Portions are generous and your promised last bites are never that. The pizzas are Goldilocks—not too thick, but not cracker-thin and, of course, crisp with no soggy bottoms. I’ve only eaten here twice, but I intend to come back and try more dishes. This restaurant appears wildly popular in the evenings around the weekend. Lunchtime is better and surprisingly calm.

Unfortunately their supposed to be Italian food isn't like before anymore. The last two meals I had there were just not really quality ones.

We've been going here for more than 20 years. Last 2 or 3 visits have been really poor. Mostly all new staff who can be rude ,service is appalling now. food has gone downhill like it's all pre cooked and then heated up when ordered had to send back a burnt pizza and wrong dish ,when i questioned it the guy mumbled and snatched the palte .such a shame as we won't be returning anytime soon.

Sgame about the food. Service is great, location is cool and there is a nice atmosphere. Shame that for a pizza restaurant they make a truly average pizza. It is just so bland in every respect. Horrible service. The owner asked my English friend why he was there as English people know nothing about food. Yesterday, we were about to sit down, and the waiter shouted at us “Eeee” and the he told us to sit down. They never came for an order and we left. The reviews have dropped dramatically since 2021.

During a late-night food hunt, this warmly lit restaurant stood out as one of the few options still open. Both the pasta and pizza were delicious, and the prices were pleasantly affordable. Perfect for a satisfying, budget-friendly Italian meal after dark.

I live within the area. Been there few times as we like the food,but had bad experience with the service most of the times,specially when it comes to one of the waiters. Last time was too much and decided to finally write a review. Went there with my mom and my 6 months old baby on a Monday for lunch. Only 4 or 5 tables,” seated inside, a very quiet day and 2 waiters working. Made us wait by the door for over 5 mins. Finally decided to just grab a table. Waited another 7 minutes to get a menu. Waited another 10 mins for someone to come and take the order. Got the starter after another 7 minutes but no drinks. Bare in mind we only ordered a bottle of water. On a quiet Monday afternoon. It’s the same waiter always ignoring us. This last time he made it so obvious. Hates his job. We like the food, but the service deserves a minus 10. I work within the hospitality business and I always try to be flexible and understand. But this is way too much.

The food was fantastic but maybe because our party group was right at the back of the restaurant, the service wasn't so good. It took more than an hour just to get served, and only one waiter to take the food order, and there were around 30 of us. Our main courses eventually came but without our side orders , veges and potatoes etc 🥔 and almost 20 minutes later they came with our side orders. Some waited, and some of us couldn't. The staff did apologise many times.

The pizzeria is excellent. The restaurant has been around since 1985. I visited the restaurant when it first opened. The fungi pizza is one of the best items on the menu. The menu is very extensive and the prices are very fair (given London prices)

The food was a disaster. I'm pretty sure they sent us leftovers from other customers. We found bitten olives in the salad. We ordered a mixed grill, but the quantity was too small, and the meat was not fresh. It seemed like they grilled it, left it out for a day, and then grilled it again for us. I'm so disappointed. I wish the municipality would close this restaurant for disrespecting the customers.

Had the most uncomfortable experience here yesterday which is really sad because I used to love this place. The staff were speaking about me continually in Italian assuming I didn’t know the language whilst also giving me dirty looks. All of this made me extremely uncomfortable and ruined my date night. The food was ok but people visiting should be cautious of the bad service and rude staff members.

Staff are incredibly rude and talk down to their customers. They was speaking about my table with we where sat arms length from us, all we asked was for the pizza to be put in for a little longer… Very Disappointing experience, and I feel it has really gone down hill recently

Lovely place. Great atmosphere, friendly staff but this place is not authentic. Broccoli 🥦 does not belong in pasta 🍝 🤮. If a restaurant has a hundred items on the menu you should be suspicious. It's better to have a select few, core items. Didn't try the pizza though so maybe that's better they do have a stone oven.

Amazing food Quality and quantity

My 4 star rating is only for staff present on our Wednesday dinner visit. All staff members were extremely nice, friendly, polite and attentive. Special words of appreciation for our waiter Aziz which made an extra mile to make my evening as pleasurable as possible, takin under consideration my misbehaving due to late hours son. Food was ok, but nothing to come back for. Portions were massive, prices quite low, perhaps smaller portions but better ingredients and bit more love during preparation would make the difference.

We had a nice meal here! Service was quite fast and the food was pretty good, but could be quite a little bit better. Good value though.

Standard Italian in unprepossessing location.

Today, although Bank Holiday was not too busy for lunch. The staff, apart from our waiter, were quite irate. The pizza chef kept ringing the blasted bell five or six times to attract waiters attention, once or twice could have been enough. All staff were not happy with each other and appeared to be in the middle of a group argument. Our food neither starters or mains arrived together. To be honest I found the whole lunch uncomfortable I have been to this place on many occasions and this is unusual but bad enough today to point it out. I will return.

It's much bigger than one thinks. Initially one competes for the staff's attention with the delivery riders, but then the service becomes personal, caring and attentive to detail. An enormous menu, sizable portions, I would be happy to go again.

I went there this weekend after almost two years since my last visit. Actually the only reason I went there it was because it was my friend’s birthday, as this restaurant wouldn’t be a choice of mine. The overall experience was okay, unfortunately the food was not good that day, pretty much everyone complained of the pasta dishes saying they were not seasoned. My pasta particularly was Mari i Monti which the main ingredient should be king prawns but I was presented with only four pieces the rest of the ingredients were lots of mushrooms and tomato. So the only way to make it tastier was to fill the plate with cheese. Maybe the chef was not having a good day or they changed it. But I left quite disappointed with the food outcome. The service was bad at first, I think they were not happy with our party but it improved during our time there.

Honestly the best meal I've had in a very long time. The food was amazing, the staff were warm and friendly. Don't skip dessert and a coffee! We'll definitely be back.

The venue is beautiful and the atmosphere delightful. Always seems busy and the setting under the railway bridge makes the restaurant really nice and inviting, feels like you will get lost though. Came for a birthday party and had the back of the restaurant rented out. The size of the party and the sheer number of people already in the venue may have made service difficult. Orders were incorrectly delivered or missed out which caused a bit of confusion, nothing that could not be rectified quite easily. However, the food left a lot to be desired. The pizza was average at best, tried both the ghiotta and the gustosa. The scalop limone was nice but nothing special. Thought I would have the veal as I have not had it in a while but think a pasta might be better. The highlight of the meal, but not that it was amazing, was the Fritto misto. As you can imagine it was nice being deep fried and all. Even though I did not have a pasta dish, I would recommend as the pizza, fritto and veal left me unsatisfied.

Hello. I want to let you know about my experience yesterday. Normally I never complain or anything as I am not person like that buy I cant leave it. I often coming to your restaurant and the food is delicious. Yesterday we had a problem with our waiter. Skinny bold man was very rude to us. He forgot what we order (when ordering he repeat after me so I am in 100% sure that he understand right position in menu). We order two starters( we didnt get it) and three meals( they made a mistake we get differwnt chicken) so I politely say that maybe ita to different table as our one was different. They didnt say sorry jist looking at us like we are lying.. we feel so bad.. as they should say sorry not me..? Anyway we get our food was delicious like always. Then after long time we ask for some more drinks as and by the way I ask what happened with our starters wchich we ordered because of this all missunderstanding? The gay was wery weey rude looks at me like I am a layier... He sad maybe he should check cameras? Omg 🙈 I am not a drama person to make a show, we want just have a nice evening with friends but we just take a receipt and lelft and go somewhere for drinks.. Maye the waiter had a bad day or its propably simply too tight,too many tables and customers and waiter couldnt manage ewerything..? Also will be nice if he will just take a notebook and simply note what we order instead of trying to remembering that all..😅 and tables could have a number also to make it easier to waiters🤦 owerall we propably will order some food from there as its amazing but fors sure we will do it online as I am not coming back after yesterday its literally shock me!

I'll only write a few words, it's enough for me to say that you're in London, go to this place and you feel like you're in Italy, for the good food, for the Italian language (English wouldn't be a problem but you understand that if they're Italian it's a real restaurant Italian) many others are fake. What can I say, fantastic.

One of the best places in London. I can only recommend it. I tried only pizza and ravioli, because I love their pizza. Real authentic italian taste. Friendly and cheerful hard working staff members. Pizza prices are simply amazing. £10-13 for a large pizza. Such a bargain. My 8 years old daughter almost eating the whole pizza. It is that good.

Went here the other night with a group of 6 other people. We were given a really small table, so people weren’t able to fit their pizzas on the table. One person in the party didn’t get his pizza until everybody else was done with mains and it was given to him in a box with no plate. The food was pretty good, but service wasn’t great and the atmosphere was very overwhelming with loud music going off frequently for peoples birthdays

Food was ok. I feel like you can find better Italian restaurant for cheaper price and really taste good. Service was good some staff was helping the one serving us I can tell that he got a lot on today as it’s busy Friday! I wouldn’t recommend to come on a Friday night! or maybe a weekend cause the atmosphere is to loud can’t even hear while we are talking with my friends we have to shout. But overall its decent.

Lacked in atmosphere and service but food was good

Wow! What a place, we live in Sheffield and whenever we visit London we come to L'Artista Ristorante Pizzeria. This is our 3rd visit and was equally as good as the previous 2 times. The staff are so friendly and welcoming, it's a very relaxed homely/chilled environment. The food was incredible we ordered the Lasagne, gnocchi & Calzone all were delicious and our daughter said the lasagne was the best she had ever eaten. The chef even made up a little pizza for our daughter whilst we waiting for our main course which was also lovely. The candy floss machine is an added bonus! Will definitely be back again.

A very crowded place, day by day, but it is due to the fact that they eat very, very well, tasty food and served very quickly, in about 4-5 minutes. The prices are affordable considering that it is zone 3.

I have wanted to go here for over a year, it always looks so busy so I decided to reserve for my birthday. Lovely restaurant with kind and chatty staff, the food came super quick and was all delicious! We ordered 4 mains, 2 starters, 3 non alc drinks and 2 alc drinks and the cost was about £80 which is amazing considering how much we ordered, the quality of the food and quickness of the service! Recommending to everyone! We will 100% be back!
