The best restaurants serving Italian food in England

Very pleasant place and good atmosphere, thanks to Ramona/Goncale & Amir, a very attentive crew. The food was very good..

Disgusting. Everything was overcooked and they got my order wrong.

We were in the area and stopped at Mimmo's for lunch. The staff was friendly and kind. We had pasta, tiramisù and espresso and they were all exceptionally good!

I made a telephone booking for a pizza collection. The price on their website was £10.90. I then asked if they could add an egg to it. When I picked it up I was expecting it to cost about £11.50, as this was the next pricing on their menu. But they asked for £13.40. I was stunned and asked them to explain. They claimed the basic pizza was £11.90 and the prices on their website were wrong. And when I asked why an additional egg was £1.50 (the cost of a box of eggs), the guy started going on about how much the shop rent has increased. I think they make up prices as they go along. I will not be using them again.

Great service from Daniel (the waiter), so kind and attentive even provided a birthday brownie on the house. The food was amazing and the atmosphere so relaxing. Couldn’t recommend enough!

Wanted try this place for long time, but unfortunately was really disappointed about the main meal. Ordered focaccina barese and parmigiana. Focaccia was absolutely delicious. Fresh and nicely crispy. Little bit salty - but I usually put lots of salt on everything as well. So was okay for me. But the parmigiana was soo salty, that I couldn’t eat more than two spoons. And as I said, I put lots of salt on everything. But this was far too much even for me.

Had a small wait but the food was nice. Got burger and fries. Was worth the wait, also shared a pizza which was also nice.

The carbonara was made with cream and completely bland! My friend’s gin & tonic was flat and tasted like gin and water. When we asked the waitress about it, she was rude and dismissive, saying, “Should I show you the bottle to prove it”. Overpriced and poorly run. I wouldn’t recommend.

A decent restaurant, the starters were our favourite, the mains very just about ok, we didn’t enjoy them much and the tiramisu was rather average. Considering we easily get such high quality wood fired pizza in London just about anywhere, the pizza here was a let down. Friendly staff, good location.
