La vespa used to be one of my favourite restaurants in London, unfortunately I assume they closed the restaurant and the place called “little Italy” bough them. The food is not the same anymore and is not a typical Italian food with Italian ingredients, is overpriced, honestly just save your money and go somewhere else.

Would not recommend: Drinks: Coke - Flat Lemonade - Flat And charging 95p for ice and lemon in the water! (Can buy it at the shop for that much!!) Food: Focaccia was lacking seasoning Calamari was clearly out of the freezer Pizza was decent but was wet and soggy (?too much cheese) Gnocchi cheap bought gnocchi Comparing the price to the food it should be 50% off at all times Overall pretty disappointed for a restaurant that looked promising - looks nice but is cold and echoey through the doors

Visited Bottelino’s for a colleague’s leaving do ~30 of us. To start with, the service was impeccable - considering the size of our group, there was no wait for our food, everything came out in a timely manner and the staff couldn’t do enough for us! Food was tasty, everyone commented on how delicious their food was and how generous the portion sizes were! Would definitely visit again!

Been here many times only just got around to joining tripadvisor to post some reviews. The food is always spot on cannot be beaten in my opinon. Was a little period of adjustment when a ot of the old staff left all at once but I think theyve found their feet again. The staff are all so friendly and seem knowledgable. Our waiter named Alex was attentive and polite. Efficient service from everybody and this place remains a firm family favourite.

We have visited San Giovanni on a few occasions & always had a great meal. Unfortunately on this occasion my partners lobster was served stone cold, as was my starter. We fed this back to the waiter who offered to reheat the lobster, when they returned the lobster was still cold. The manager (George I believe) then visited our table, explained that we were wrong & that it is not possible for lobster to be warm unless it is in a sauce. We tried to explain that we have had other positive experiences in the restaurant but he refused to offer us any other food. We returned to the bar whilst we waited for a taxi but George advised the bar staff to refuse of service. We then had to stand in the cold for 15 minutes whilst we awaited our taxi. All restaurants get it wrong some times & all we wanted was an apology & admittance that on this occasion they had got it wrong, especially considering they were 30 minutes late getting us seated. Instead we were humiliated & sent home hungry & cold. I would still recommend that people visit the restaurant as we have had many good meals but do not challenge the staff if there are concerns as you may be subject to the same treatment we received. A real shame, I wish management would have just listened to our feedback
