I found this restaurant by chance and had a delicious dinner. The food was excellent, the service friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was refined and inviting. I would definitely return. Thank you 🌼

Nice restaurant. Moderately expensive but not bad by London standards. Pizza good toppings 5 out of 5, base 3 out of 5, although I am biased as I prefer Neapolitan style. Don't have ice cream, way too expensive but the Tiramisu is lovely. Staff very friendly but could be more attentive, had to ask for a refill of water for the table. Oh also the water was not served with ice and was a bit warm. In fairness I didn't say anything and I am fairly sure that if I had they would have remedied it. Would I go again? Maybe.

A great place for a romantic dinner. The interior is stylish, the food is excellent, the service is excellent.

The food and atmosphere were lovely. Be aware there is a cigar bar next door, and the small of cigar smoke fills the restaurant. If that does not bother, then the restaurant is a good choice.

Tried the pizza here and it was excellent. Located in a really nice area. The staff were friendly but the service was a bit slow.

Elegant, high-quality Sardinian restaurant in the Victoria area frequented by great film stars. We had dinner with 7 people with satisfaction and excellent service. We will definitely be back.

Oliveto brings the true Sardinian experience to London. It has never failed in the past few years. In its new Avatar and location the transformation is complete.

Extremely disappointed by our experience - service was almost nonexistent and food was quite underwhelming for the most part. While the location / restaurant is beautiful, we weren’t acknowledged for a good 10 minute standing in the entrance despite employees walking past us and it being 50% empty. Once we were seated it was another 20 minutes until they took our order. Ordered the tartare which legitimately tasted rancid / off due to the dressing and stale cheese (?) shavings on top. Mains were homemade sausage pasta and tuna filet. Tuna was actually very good and fresh, which is why I’m giving 2 stars as this was the only good thing here. The pasta was completely undercooked and we could barely find 4 pieces of sausage in it. Tasted like the tomato base had not been cooked off properly and was overly sweet. Just not good. We decided to skip dessert and leave, the manager saw us leave 2 feet away directly staring at us and not acknowledging us at all or saying goodbye / thank you although we did thank him regardless of our poor experience. Overall just not good and there’s significantly better Italian restaurants in London.

I came here for my birthday and had got friends to come down specially for it but it was a horrible experience. There was zero ambience in the restaurant which made for uncomfortable dining, our waiter was clearly overwhelmed and visibly stressed out and my dinner had a hair in it so I couldn’t eat it. My friend had to go up and ask the waiter to take the dish away. Really disappointed and would not recommend!

Nice place and delicious pizza!

My first stop every time I visit London. From the moment one walks in to the effusive goodbyes upon leaving, one feels welcomed into owner Mauro Sanna's home away from his original Sardinian home. The menu is authentic, the staff are so well trained and most of all, the food is unbelievably good. Special mention: the spaghetti all bottarga! The best anywhere. The wine list is outstanding too, try anything from Sella e Mosca. Also amazing: nearby sister restaurants Olivo and Olivo Mare, plus the retail food and wine store next to Olivo Mare.

The food here was amazing. We ordered beef carpaccio for starter - very good. For mains we had Milanese - the best we’ve had and we’ve had this in many many places, also had a crab linguine that had loads of crab meet and was delicious. Our daughter had truffle gnocchi which was good but less impressive compared to the crab linguine and Milanese. We also ordered deep fried courgettes for a side, though at £7 not cheap, it was amazing - very light and crispy and seasoned to perfection. Also had the panna cotta, tiramisu and Sebada for desserts. Service was also very good. The only thing I would not recommend here is the coffee.

My husband and I both thoroughly enjoy all of the different Oliveto restaurants in our neighborhood. Each has a unique menu and delicious food. Well managed. One of our go-to places.

Best Italian (actually Sardinian) in London. Food is exquisite, made with sensitivity and finesse. The crab linguine is other worldly!

Good food but terrible service. Miserable staff, unhappy manager and negative from the moment we walked in till the minute we left. We have been coming here for years and something has clearly changed since they moved location a few doors down from where they were. Really need to fix what is a terrible service offering. We won’t be back, sadly.

The road the restaurant is on is stunning but Unfortunately, my partner and I both had food poisoning after visiting this restaurant. The only thing we both tried was his pizza which came with a cooked based but with raw cheese grated on top. Cheese can obviously be eaten raw and is not a big deal, and we just put up with it, I assumed what made me ill was the lobster spaghetti, however he did not eat it, so it must be either the pizza or the dessert. Completely unimpressed. Not worth it, sorry.

It was a delicious Italian restaurant.

The art of dining and looking ofter the clients is perfectly assembled here, have a pizza, have a schnitzel … just sit back and enjoy being looked after, the wine selection is impressive too. We cannot wait to return and sit alfresco soon.

Oliveto serves the best pizza I have ever eaten in my life. Staff are always friendly.

Good food but staff are rude - if you call to make an order ahead of time and order in English they pretend to not understand (eg I ask for CRAB pizza, literally the only pizza on the menu with Crab, and they had no clue what I was requesting). Crab pizza then came with hard shell on it, not great!

Beef carpaccio was delicious! The classic mullet pasta is also available♡

Panettone bread and butter pudding is something else!

I recently celebrated my daughter's birthday at Oliveto, a restaurant that we both love because of our shared appreciation for Sicilian cuisine. I made sure to mention my request for a birthday dessert for my daughter during the booking process and again during the confirmation call. Despite this, however, there was no birthday candle included with our desserts, which was a huge disappointment. I ended up paying £120 for what felt like a completely ordinary meal. I will not come back..

Friendly servers greet you and lead you into a very modern decorated two rooms. We started with a Malbec blend. My husband and I shared a salad of wafer thin zucchini tossed in an olive oil dressing. I relished my lamb rack in a sauce that made me want to like my fingers. My husband chose a pasta with crab sauce that he declared delicious. No room for dessert.

Delicious food. I had the asparagus with poached egg and a generous amount of truffle shavings. Shared the rack of lamb which came as requested medium rare. Delicious red wine.

This restaurant is located in one of the most beautiful neighborhood. We dined in late at night and it was not very busy. We had asparagus with truffle and tagliatelle with red ham then lamb shank and cutlet for red house wine. The food and wine quality is just decent. Staff members were polite but not very friendly unlike other Olivo restaurans but it could be the theme of the restaurant. They could have asked us for a refill of breads and water. Price is not very competitive but rise in CPI may explain and their food/wine quality is above the standard. Thanks.

We went to OlivoCarne for my birthday and it was simply great. Great and elegant atmosphere, delicious food and the prices are okay. We went to Olivo by mistake and the staff were super nice and redirected us to OlivoCarne. Can't wait to try the other ones too!

I will start with the positives first, good location, with a clean and morden interior. The carpaccio di manzoni was generously sized, good house white wine, and the porceddu was cooked and seasoned well, with a lovely crackling on the outside. However, unfortunately this is where the positives end. The service was cold, unwelcoming, inattentive and slow, which given that this was a Sunday afternoon, and upon arrival and for most of the meal, we were the only dinners makes it even more inexcusable. My pasta was overcooked, and mushy, whilst the ragu lacked flavour, depth, and seasoning, resulting in a dry dish overall. I've never quite had pasta nor service quite as bad as this in any Italian restaurant in the UK, abroad and most importantly Italy. This is a belated review from February, and so I truly hope that things have improved or that they just had an off day.

We have visited twice recently for lunch (today) and supper (about a month ago). In both cases the service was excellent and attentive without being fussy. The maitre d' was very good. The menu is of course meat-orientated but there are fish and pasta choices. My melon and Sardinian ham starter was perfection as was the prawn risotto. Steak and lamb choices of my guests were perfectly cooked. I am a big fan of their roast potatoes. Good choice of wine - house wines very acceptable. Elizabeth Street is charming with flower displays and outdoor seating. Olivocarne has outdoor tables and is a great spot for lunch on a warm day. Highly recommend this restaurant.

We dined here after attending the theatre and were expecting great things. Unfortunately we were quite disappointed. The inside dining area is very dimly lit and, despite booking a table several weeks ago we were seated right next to a busy staff area where they cut up bread & do the till. 2 out of 3 starters were good, the third being the Midollo (bone marrow) had only the tiniest bit of marrow to spread on 2 pieces of sourdough bread, despite there being 2 large pieces of bone on the plate. Then came the mains - the papardelli with chicken liver was nice, but bits of liver scarce; the seafood risotto was tasteless & the rice undercooked (I like a bit of 'bite' in the rice, but this was way under) and the suckling pig was a bit dry and also very small. The staff were quite indifferent and overall the experience very underwhelming for the price.

Accueil plus que moyen. Sans sourire. On nous a installés au fond de la salle du restaurant. Très sombre. Peu chaleureux. Pas de lumière d’ambiance (ni bougie ni lampe de table). Alors que la terrasse est agréable et les tables à l’entrée du restaurant aussi. Service très long sans excuse de la part des serveurs. Peu d’attention. Plats pas très copieux mais avec goût. Desserts très moyens et très chers (gâteau au chocolat 10,50 £). Crème au citron trop sucrée et fade (9,50 £)

It’s a nice restaurant, in Belgravia, with a good variety in the menu, the food took a while to arrive but it was worth it, it was delicious! They have an outdoor area in front of the restaurant. Staff are friendly. Oh and they sell half a bottle of Cervaro!

Popped into Olivocarne today for lunch and what a disappointment. Initially all was well ,Lovely breads and our starters Steak Tartar and Crab Linguine were excellent however the same couldn't be said for the main Course. We both ordered the ribeye steak with homemade chips (which definitely weren't) The steaks were covered in sea salt and were inedible so we sent them back .The second ones came out and we'd both ordered medium and they were rare to blue !!! My partner ate his as by then we were hungry but I just couldn't eat mine so it was returned .I wasn't asked if I'd like anything else so I just went hungry .. The desserts were OK, Chocolate fondant and ice cream didn't really hit the spot ! There was a good selection of wines but massively overpriced. The bill came to £240 without my steak and for the service and quality of the food I would not return and I definitely wouldn't recommend.

We have been coming to OlivoCarne for years. Always outstanding food, delightful and attentive service and warm welcoming ambience. When we arrived they remembered our 12 year old daughter and greeted her by name!! As I read some of these reviews here, I wonder if they are talking about the same restaurant!! Mauro, the gracious and charming Sardinian proprietor is extremely proud of what he delivers to his customers at all his restaurants Highly recommend

Good food. The service was ok, but took very long. Staff was nice

Despite a free table available in the heated area outside we were offered a table in the street which was not clean . We were told it is reserved but for the whole time we were there it remained empty . Also the waiter changed the tablecloth k kg when we complain . Gods order was taken after another ten min wait and then I was discouraged to order gluten free pasta - was told it will take over half an hour . I felt they just did not want me to order the pasta as it just came in 15 min but that was the ONLY good thing in the service as it was undercooked . No one offered any cheese on top and we were left to keep looking out for someone to see us . Finally after another five min they came to put the cheese . Had the most terrible experience .

Olivocarne is the one of the best places to serve premium meats. They have a wide range from delicate soups, right up to those meats, but the staff are incredibly kind. The service is very speedy, the staff are all very welcoming and kind, and it is very formal. I would recommend Olivocsrne for sure!

lovely ladies night dinner here, i love all the olivo restaurants so much the quality of the food is divine. The carpaccio with the steak slices is so good so satisfying to eat with the lovely strong balanced olive oil and salty slithers of parmesan. The combination of bottarga with the tartar is so intriguing and special and delicious. The ragu was amazing as you would expect, heavenly ribbons of pasta fresh eggy golden delightful. The crab spaghetti was maybe my favourite, it had so much crab meat in it felt very luxurious and regal. The lamb chops were so soft and really the best lamb chops i’ve ever had. The liver was also delicate and sweet. A little glass of fernet branca and we were giggling all the way home.

Stunningly authentic, I felt I was in Italy, wonderful attentive service / great Italy Cuisine. Highly recommended

MERAVIGLIOSO! We had a wonderful dinner here - we loved everything about Olivocarne. They accommodated our special requests because the staff are wonderful, so courteous, classy, the best service ever. The food - “I’m in love with this pasta!” Came out of our mouths so many times. Even a simple gnocchi dish tasted divine. The restaurant itself is absolutely gorgeous, immaculately clean and stylish. I’ve been to all of the Italians in London, I sometimes think, from the nicest to the least nice, and this is absolutely at the top. I will be returning many, many times. A wonderful evening. This was my first visit to this restaurant. The food was average and extremely overpriced and the drinks, even worse.....only to be insulted by a 15% service charge....I certainly won’t be going back, despite being a local......

Having been invited for lunch last Friday with a most amazing starter of Insalata Finoocchi and then my all time favourite Vitello Tonnato (equally as good as the Cipriani in Venice) I had to book for Saturday lunch. Briefly my guest and I could not fault the wonderful food, wine and service. Thank you will now save up for the next visit.

We are locals to this area and visited many times in normal times and we feel strongly that we all need to support our local restaurants during this difficult time. We ordered takeaway and it was delicious!! Apart from not having someone to serve it to us,the meal was restaurant standard and SOooooo delicious. Not easy under delivery conditions but it was excellent!!We shared the entree of mozzarella and cured meat and then the baby chicken and grilled veal chop .. exceptional!!! And then indulged by sharing the semifreddo .. can’t wait for next time. Highly recommend and perfecto!! Grazie

The perfect place for a fine and sophisticated dinner. Quiet and elegant restaurant with a somehow romantic atmosphere... Perfect for a dinner date. Authentic Sardinian food served by Sardinian people with the highest standards of quality and hospitality expected from à La Carte restaurants. For me nothing is more Sardinian then ‘Seadas’ for dessert. They serve gluten free pasta & desserts. Sardinian wine from Canonau grapes and a “Mirto” liquor to wrap up a perfect Sardinian food experience in the heart of London. When we visited, Giorgio was the manager ensuring the high standards. It’s been a couple of years but the experience was truly memorable. Hard to beat! ...Unless you go the Island itself. Will definitely come back when Lockdown is over for a ‘Curlugiones’ (Sardinian gnocchi) main. I would encourage you to dress elegantly.

I had eaten lunch here with friends about a month ago. The decor is cozy, and the food was lovely, although the service was very slow and not friendly. I wanted to bring my husband, as he loves great Italian and give it another chance. This was far from great. We invited another couple along. First of all, the restaurant was so hot - occasionally I felt a breeze, but I was sweating most the evening - and I had a light top on, capri's and sandals. Secondly, it took forever to get served. We had to ask to order wine, when the first course came (2 of which were pasta's), there was no offer of parmesan cheese. We had to ask for that, and wait for 5 minutes. My husband ordered the chicken dish - it looked awful. And he said it was awful. I had the see bass, it was fine. Our friend had steak - it was so small. And our other friend had a dietary situation - and for this, they went to their sister restaurant to get her what she needed. So for that reason only, I did not rate theme terrible. I would not recommend this restaurant, nor will I return. Again, I had been for lunch and enjoyed the food that day, but had warned my husband the service was poor. Well, tonight, it was equally as bad, and the food was not great either. Not worth it, when there are so many great restaurants in London to choose from. Also their website says they have a bar and outdoor terrace as part of a private club, but open to those dining in the restaurant. We went early to have a drink, only to find out that it is closed right now. They should have that on their website.

Main dish fillet steak was certainly very good and perfectly cooked desert also very good but aubergine salad starter albeit competently done was pretty basic and pretty overpriced for what it was. House wine and service good so perhaps 4 stars a bit harsh but price a factor in that rating..

Absolutely dreadful experience. Sorry to leave this review but experience was awful in every way. Booked table for 8pm. Ordered drinks at 8.25 no drinks arrived. Everyone waiting for drinks or food. Staff arguing and stressed. Questioned drinks to be told aggressively only only member of staff at work. Take away orders being brought back incorrectly. Walked out just after 8.30 after zero service. Will not be returning as I suspect will most customers.

Unfortunately this restaurant much worse than its sister Olivomare. This meat version is weaker in quisine. Everything we ordered was just ok. Nothing was really tasty or even interesting. We will stick to the fish part of the Olivo in the future.

Olivocarne is by far our family’s most visited Italian restaurant in London. In addition to very nice pasta and steak, it also has great service and a relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommended for meat lover. For seafood, try its sister restaurant Olivomare which is equally great !!!

Recientemente organizamos una cena para 10 en Oliviocarne. El restaurante era encantador y teníamos una mesa en una sección más tranquila donde todos podían conversar fácilmente. Pero lo que hizo que la cena fuera tan perfecta fue la deliciosa comida y el servicio excepcional. El menú tenía muchos platos interesantes y únicos y suficientes opciones para los vegetarianos en nuestro grupo. El servicio fue perfecto y nuestras copas de vino nunca estaban vacías. La noche no pudo haber sido mejor.

Staff very attentive excellent food cosy bar

We hosted a small dinner party for 10 last weekend at Oliviocarne. It couldn't have been better. The restaurant is lovely . We had a quiet table in the back where we could talk without difficulty. But what made the evening so perfect was the exceptional service and delicious food. I highly recommend this wonderful restaurant.

Simply the most delicious menu with a side of lovely ambiance and cool waiters. A good wine list and naughty puddings...what more could you ask..!

Nos da vergüenza decir que nos llevó tanto tiempo (¡varios años!) Visitar este restaurante que está a menos de 10 minutos de nuestra casa, pero finalmente logramos hacerlo. ¡Y nos complace haberlo hecho! Fuimos a cenar a mitad de semana y tomamos un plato principal, el cochinillo y el filete de res, junto con una botella de buen vino para invitados, Medeus, que llegó a 113 en total. El servicio era bueno, la comida era excelente y el viaje a casa sin esfuerzo. Como diría Arnie, si él fuera sardo, volveremos.

This tiny restaurant in Belgravia has the best veal Milanese I have ever had- thin as paper and delicious! Their Sicilian flatbread is also amazing and I just about ate the entire bread basket. The service is great and I cannot wait to go back@,

Como resultado, puedo recomendar este restaurante para aquellos de ustedes que disfrutan de la comida italiana realmente buena. Un elogio especial para Giorgio y su equipo por hacernos sentir bienvenidos y donde nada era demasiado problema. También el asesoramiento sobre la selección de vinos fue acertado.
