The best restaurants serving Italian food in England

Very disappointed. Have had amazing meals here many times from sept to dec 24 and was looking forward to the same after reopening in feb 25. Same menu but not same food. Plus one adult ordered the ice cream selection for dessert and was given 2 separate ramekin dishes, each with 1 scoop of ice cream. We were shocked. This was valentines night aswell. It was really pathetic looking. So disappointed.

Had dinner this evening and was served by Tom! Great host very funny and attentive. Made the evening a lot more enjoyable can’t wait to go back

A well-sheltered and very comfortable port, equipped with 5-star sanitary facilities! We received a very warm welcome and were able to benefit from excellent quality pontoons and equipment.

Such a gorgeous a place and gorgeous food :) love coming here to eat. Atmosphere is relaxed yet sophisticated. Always a pleasurable dining experience :)

I visited Sambuca Whitley Bay for the first time today and had a fantastic experience. The food was delicious and reasonably priced, and the staff were friendly and attentive.

I recently visited this restaurant and had a very disappointing experience, largely due to the behavior of a staff member named Inayat. From the moment we were seated, Inayat was rude and dismissive. The service was slow, and his attitude was unprofessional and unwelcoming. He seemed completely uninterested in engaging with us or offering any level of customer care. We felt ignored and uncomfortable throughout our visit. While the food was decent, the unpleasant interaction with Inayat left a bad impression and made me question whether I’ll return. I hope management addresses this issue to prevent future customers from having the same experience.

Another visit for Sunday lunch and I have to say it’s so good each time. Beautiful home style food. Can thoroughly recommend. Slow trade this timr of year but recommend you book. Dogs & kids welcome too.

Really good food, just a shame the padded seating is looking tatty in places.

A wonderful family experience in a welcoming restaurant. A big plus for the staff: Anas, the restaurant's manager, and Killian, who took excellent care of us and even gave us a tour of the premises. Good value for money, I recommend it to both French fans of our cuisine and English visitors curious to discover it. And a big plus for the location!

Decided to have a last minute meal with my partner and my parents this evening, didn’t book but was quickly seated, Lovely food, great service and friendly staff

a group of us (4) were going to a show at the Haymarket. We parked st the Haymarket car park. it's a short walk Ask. We ate on a Saturday night. We'd booked, but there was plenty of space. Service was really good and friendly. There was loads of choice on the menu and the food was really good.

This is now Verona. I loved every mouthful. The cocktails are awesome. Definitely going back.
