Had a great experience here at lunch. I was unhappy with the dish and they fixed it no issue - and were really kind about it. Great value, good quality, service quick enough to get you through a nice 2 or 3 course lunch during an hour. I’ll be back!

We had a fantastic pre-theatre supper tonight at Mele e Pere. Lovely warm welcome when we arrived, wonderful ambience and delicious food. Pre-theatre menu had great choices including steak and sea bream, all for £17.50 per person. Will definitely be back!

A fantastic place to have dinner before going on to see a show. All the food we had was amazing. The staff were very attentive and friendly. Will definitely go again when we're back in London again.

Compared to other Italians I've been to, this experience was OK. The spaghetti carbonara arrived too quickly to be freshly made, and there was a lot of sauce with a raw egg yolk on top. The panchetta was thickly cut, and there was too much of it. Could be better with some tweaks.

We had such a good experience discovering this restaurant a few weeks ago so brought our friends last Friday. We had drinks at the bar before dinner and it was relaxing, the bartenders were attentive and friendly. Our friends enjoyed dinner but didn't like the wine. I actually ordered the same dishes as last time, the bruschetta with red pepper was great but the butternut squash in the Fregola was definitely undercooked, an oversight perhaps Will have another go again in a few weeks!

Great pre theatre experience. Great spritz drinks in happy hour (before 6), with their own vermouth was fantastic. Staff friendly and attentive. Food choice Pre theatre menu was great and tasty. Would recommend and will be back.

Delicious food, fast service, but incredibly loud. The couple on the table next to me had to yell their conversation at one another to be heard over the background noise of tens of other couples and groups doing the same

We weren’t made to feel overly welcome from the get go. They forgot about our appetisers and then brought them out after starters. The general service wasn’t great. Food was good though, and the set menu was very good value.

Good food with calm atmosphere for an early mid week dinner.

We’ve visited Mele E Pere twice in a 4 week period. The first visit was very good, literally no complaints but the second visit left a lot to be desired! We ordered 2 prawn linguine which was completely inedible due to the thickness and the under cooked nature of the noodle, the sauce was also very bland. We also order two margarita pizza which was severely undercooked and soggy. The one and only shining light was the starters which were actually pretty good. Not sure if I would try this restaurant again. Too hit and miss!

What a great discovery! We really loved the buratta, red peppers with garlic crostini as I can't have the normal tomato! The fregola was a healthy portion! My husband also enjoyed the pork and fennel meatballs and calamari alla griglia. The service was excellent and this could become our second kitchen in time!

A real find. The Pork Chop Saltimbocca was amazing. The others had homemade pasta, and all really loved it. Highly recommended will be back.

Nice food (I enjoyed the squid ink pasta) but very expensive for what it was. £17 for bolognaise and all other pastas even more than that!

The food is very delicious but the staff is very rude. I can see that the kitchen is closing at 9:00 pm and once we’ve arrived the staff told us that the kitchen is closing 8:45 pm and only we can order pizza and pasta and I have arrived at 8:39 pm.

Authentic Italian restaurant in London! 🍕🇮🇹 We entered this restaurant by chance and we couldn't have been more successful. The atmosphere was super calm and the service impeccable. The food felt totally Italian. We tried the diavola pizza and the maffaldini. Everything was spectacular. We recommend it 100%.

The staff were very friendly, the food was tasty. I recommend the veal ragu or the carbonara.

Met up with an old work friend and her daughter for dinner after a hiatus of several years. So we had a lot of catching up to do. The venue is lovely, cosy and relaxed and the staff were all very good. Food was great - truffle papardelle a particular favourite. We weren't at all rushed, which was appreciated and the evening was very memorable. Will be back again in 2025 no doubt!

The food and wine selection were amazing! The truffle pasta was delicious. The servers were very attentive and helpful!

Pasta was done according to Italian tradition and cooked appropriately, great ambience with the only downside of being a karate windowless room. Other than this small thing, truly recommended!

We came as a family and the staff managed to find us a table despite the fact that we had not reserved. The meal was very good and plentiful. However, the staff lacks courtesy and sympathy. We had to eat at the speed of light and were sent away after the meal... which spoiled the setting of the restaurant a little, which nevertheless remained very pretty and pleasant.

This was our first visit to Mele e Pere and we found everything delightful. Pizzas were good and I'd second the review that said the Carbonara is the best, though I would add that my other favourite, Tiramisu, was out of this world :-) The service was attentive and the prices good. Certainly won't be our last time there.

Mele & Pere is a fantastic restaurant in the middle of Soho. I have been many times and never been let down. The food is fabulous, service great, atmostphere lovely and its all you could want in a real restaurant serving real food for real people.

We popped in here to get out of the rain and just have drinks at the small bar upstairs. Then decided to have dinner there. There are a few tables on the ground level, but when you go downstairs, there’s a large open dining area with lots of tables. My friends ordered pizzas that were very good. I went with the pasta, which was also good were mid range not too expensive. Service was great. An excellent place to catch a meal.

Celebrated a friend's birthday and had the best time! The staff were friendly and the place had a vibrant and joyous vibe it it. I had pork which was a little bit tough but everyone else enjoyed their meal! Would definitely go again!

This is a hidden gem. Went for a friend's birthday and it was perfect! Staff were friendly and there was a jovial happy cosyvibe which contrasted with the heavy rains outside. Everyone enjoyed their food although my pork was a little tough. We'll definitely be visiting again!

Came here for a drink during Cocktail Week and enjoyed it so booked for my birthday lunch with my family. Food was excellent, the servers were so good, unobtrusive but supportive, very accommodating of my 1.5yr old niece who was fascinated by the stairs. I had added a note for some space in case we needed to put the pram next to the table and they gave us a great table witu plenty of room. Couldn't recommend it enough. We didn't feel rushed or ignored. Would book again.

Don’t you love it when you book a restaurant for the first time and it turns out to be somewhere you’ll want to go back to and recommend to your friends and family! Instantly felt a good vibe. Staff were super attentive and genuine. Would have been happy to stumble across this place in Italy. Glad I was talked out of booking a more expensive option.

Amazing second experience! We were 4 and the food was outstanding! The carbonara and Fregola (Vegan) were absolutely incredible. My bf ordered pizza and as an Italian, he was very impressed and he quoted 'finaly a good Italian pizza in London'. The manager- Fulvio, 2ent extra mile to provide an outstanding service and the staff were very nice and welcoming. Really recommend it! We love it!

Very good address in Soho. Homemade pasta and fresh, very tasty products, we ate very well and the wine was also delicious. A large room at -1, quite noisy and a few quieter tables on the ground floor, the owner gives you the choice. Alright !

Booked for a pre-matinee lunch on an Open Table deal / recommendation -£25 for 3 courses and a glass of fizz. Very impressed; not sure how you beat this for value in Soho / theatreland. Nice room downstairs, welcoming & attentive (but not fussy) service, good food from a decent menu choice. Perfect for what we wanted. Oh, and the name…”apples & pears”? Nice touch :-)

Restaurant looks good, I ate carbonara which has nothing to do with carbonara and for an Italian restaurant it's a shame they don't know how to do it right, staff are unfriendly, always pushing us to pay and leave. Good atmosphere, good restaurant but something is missing

Bolognese tagliatelle and carbonara were amazing. Pizza Napoli was great as well but it looked like the bottom was a little bit burnt but maybe that's just my taste. Food came quickly as well and the service was friendly. It was quiet when we went in but quickly got busy. Generous portion of burrata for the burrata starter.

This was an unexpected gem. Very accommodating staff, they were great with the recommendations & thoughtful. The foccacia was a great to start the experience, really tasty. The duck ragu and carbonara were 👌 and the Tiramasu was 🔥🔥🔥. Will definitely be coming back to try the rest of the menu. Shoutout to Nicola, our waiter.

Me and my girlfriend often go here to celebrate an occasion, and have returned many times because of how fantastic the food is. My girlfriend is coeliac (gluten free) and they have extensive gluten free options, as well as a good wine list and a great ambiance. Would highly recommend!

My daughter, husband and I, came on 31st October for the pre-theatre lunch and it was fabulous! Excellent service and attentive staff. The restaurant was spotlessly clean. Excellent value for money. We don't visit London that often but would recommend to anyone and we will definitely return.

We had the pre theatre set menu and it didn't disappoint. Food was delicious and value for money. It was a Wednesday afternoon and not too busy so didn't feel rushed. Glad we went early as could see it was starting to fill up as we left. Staff were friendly and helpful.

We were back for the 3rd time to that restaurant and we tried the pizza this time but we were not that impressed at all for an Italian restaurant and their pizza quality . We also booked a deal 3 courses and Prosecco on here but no one acknowledge that and no one offered us the Prosecco. We sat down 25mn before someone offered a drink other than the water on arrival. So it was ok , not all bad but probably won’t come back a 4th time.

Italian restaurant. A very homemade meal and it shows that they work with very good quality products. The pizzas are very delicious and with sourdough. The service could improve a little to give them 10/10. Make a reservation.

Went for a pre-theatre meal before seeing the matinee of Moulin Rouge. We both had the 3 course lunch at £22.50 each and a bottle of sparkling water. Excellent value for money and generous portions. We both had the meatballs to start, I had the Margherita pizza, my partner the tagliatelli ragu and then both of us finished with the Affogato. Service charge is added to the bill. Would definitely go back and spend more time in there. A gem of a proper Italian restaurant owned and run by them ☺️

Don’t believe all the other reviews, they lie!! Okay there’s a reason why this place had a booking available on Friday night. Pasta was not good…the carbonara was very soupy. They had salt and pepper on the table which also is a tell tale sign for a tourist shop. Tourists nor locals should eat here. However ambiance was nice, we had a corner table where it wasn’t that loud. Service was also not good, they seemed quite annoyed.
