Tastless food. Had a 3 corse meal and everything was tasteless and mediocre. For the price you expect more! They have an amazing establishment so it’s a shame that the food is pretty bad

This is a little gem. Ideal for the various theatres nearby. It's a very typical Italian bar/restaurant. We had lunch prior to going to the theatre. Very good welcome. Small set menu but very good value and superbly presented and utterly delicious. Good italian wine/ beer and soft drinks. Good service and friendly staff. It's well worth seeking out and going to. Large eating area downstairs. Clean modern toilets downstairs. Loved it and would go back again without any hesitation.

We had a wonderful lunch here - the pre-theatre menu is exceptional value. Staff are friendly and attentive and service was great. The pre-theatre menu has a good variety of options and we were surprised at how generous the portions were. Everything was delicious - save some room for dessert so you can enjoy the tiramisu. Although it wasn't busy when we visited, the restaurant has a relaxed vibe and the ambience is just delightful. Would definitely go back next time I'm in town.

We had not booked, but they accommodate us on a Saturday Night. The downstairs atmosphere wa so nice. So we had started with a positive experience that ended up being one of the nicest experiences. The service was A class. Our hostess was super efficient and quick nothing was too much trouble for her. The food was outstanding. I prefer menus that half a dozen choices per item, which I believe the attention to detail should be better. I was not wrong in my assumptions. Absolutely fresh and tasty. Worth every penny

Came here as a solo diner whilst on a work trip. They obliged me by doing an off menu garlic pizza bread (thank you!) and generally I had a pleasant experience as a solo diner. The pasta was very salty is my only critique.

Delicious Italian food, friendly waiting staff, having visited on two separate trips I can highly recommend and will continue to go whenever I'm in the area, great coffee too.

The meat arrived ice cold, and there is a "pp" sign next to some prices. It means per person, so multiply the price by 2.

I just wanted a light evening meal and so I went for a side of olives and the prosciutto pizza. The prosciutto portion on the pizza was exactly the right amount and covered the pizza, and the combination of flavours made this dish very delicious. As regards the die order of olives, it would have been preferable if they were larger and pitted. The servers were excellent and very attentive.

The food was great and the service was excellent. The drinks were good.

We had an amazing night here. Very tasty and fresh food and good drinks. On top we experienced a very italianish atmosphere and a on top service. Very recommended if you hit soho.

Arrived without booking on a Saturday lunch time, but warmly welcomed and seated. The waitress was very engaging and knowledgeable about wines and recommended great cocktails. Food was great, pizzas were large so unfortunately no room for desert. Will definitely return.

We had the 3 Course Theatre Menu, absolutely outstanding and great value for money. Meatballs were very tasty as was the Salami and fried bread, and plentiful too. My wife had the bolognese for the main, it was very good quality, I had the steak, it was so tender, cooked to perfection and had a pesto and sweet sauce drizzled over it, it was absolutely delicious. We finished with Affogato and Tiramisu, all for £22.50 each. Service was spot on, will definitely be going back when we next go to the theatre.

I had the £17 two course set menu lunch which tasted great and was good value for central London. The bruschetta starter was fresh and the tagliatelle with bolognaise ragu was particularly good. Service friendly and prompt. Recommend.

Unfortunately, our experience was not great. We ordered two starters, calamari and meatballs. The meatballs were defiantly defrosted and heated. When cut they were cold in the middle, swimming in a bowl of warm ish tomato sauce. The pizza I had for my main had the base burnt, the sour burnt taste made it inedible. Surely it’s unusual for 70% of a meal to be left, it came across that this was normal for the member of staff. An expensive (mistake) experience!

Good bar for Vermouth. Would recommend going downstairs to the copper bar if only going for a drink. Impressive selections of vermouth, can get a bit patchy with service if busy.

I went to have a treat in London here. I ordered papardelle with duck and truffle ragout. It was quite good, but I think the punch of flavor to the ragout was missing. The waiters are attentive but I think they lack a bit of professionalism for the level of the restaurant. The place is very lively, the decoration is beautiful and there is a good atmosphere if you want to eat well and have a few drinks at night.

Went for drinks at mele e pere which has London's largest collection of vermouth wines. Bartender Rob was very friendly, knowledgeable and super accommodationg- major props to him!

Had a lovely lunch. Fixed price lunch menu was well worth it. Pizzas were fabulous and portions plentiful which we couldn't finish. Service was excellent too. Would recommend and will return.

We went with our friend who's visiting, we came with two kids, 7 and 12. Mele e Pere was so good to us. The team was patient and kind with our entire meal. Dinner was also delicious, and love the ambience. We love Italian and this is one we would come back. Thank you Mele e Pere!

A small and very cozy restaurant with a lovely Italian vibe. The food was superb, at least the Pizza Diavola and Spaghetti Bolognese. Superb waiter with dark hair and white shirt with flowers on it (don't remember the name). Simple 10/10!

The food was incredibly delicious (I had the squid ink pasta) — I didn’t even think to take photos because it all looked and smelled too good! Aurora was an attentive server too and made sure everything arrived timely. We’ll be back!

We had a lovely meal in this Italian restaurant. On the ground floor there is a small seating area but downstairs there is a large dining area and a bar. The food was excellent, we had starters, mains and a drink. The cost was £35 per head which included a pre added service charge (12.5%). One of our party had pizza, it was quite large. The service was very good and although it was quite busy the wait for food was not long. A good place to visit with prices that are very reasonable for the area and high quality food.

This place is heaven. I’m obsessed. I’ve been recommending it to anybody who will listen to me. Their chips are perfection and they have great gluten free options. 🙌🏼

Only popped in for a drink on the way to the tube after a visit to the theatre. Will return and eat next time

If i could give this zero stars, I would. Sat down at a table of 4 and took the wait staff 25 minutes to come over to take a drinks order, in fact we had to wave to get their attention, when we waved the waitress just waved back and smiled (felt quit sarcastic) then a few minutes later they came over. Food was okay, pasta carbonara looked good but the pizza was just very cheesy. I ordered the Pork Chop and Brocoli but when all the meals came out they had forgotten to cook the pork chop so (after trying to get the staff's attention for 5 mins) I waited for them to cook my meal, only to recieve a very dry and rushed pork chop. The waiter asked if he could do anything and so we asked for 2 more Aperol spritz, but these arrived after we had finished main course (about another 25 min wait). I also wrongly assumed this would be deducted from the bill - no no, it was there in full! Overall, terrible service, average food, quite overpriced.

Fettuccine Al Nero, totally passable- a little heavy on the cream (drowned) but tasty and pasta was fresh. Service was abominable from the start harassed from start to finish even though it was mid week and many other tables free. Someone tried to clear my plate before I’d finished and not once did our server ask how the meal was. Apparently this place is cashless- refused to take my money and insisted on card payment even after I protested and my card declined. Although this story changed after I’d made the payment to “I can’t access the cash register”. They should have found someone that could. I thought it was too mean to take off the service charge but this was really quite unacceptable to refuse cash payments at a restaurant and I was made to feel really uncomfortable about payment in front of my guest.

Lovely evening with a free negroni which made it extra special. The negroni’s here are so good and beautifully presented. This is matched by excellent food and generous portions. I had the tagliatelle which is always good. We love the zucchini Friti with drinks. We will be back soon and Happy Birthday to Mele e Pere!

Great evening celebrating my mum 70th. Everything from the food to the staff was first class! Everyone there made this evening super special. Still full from all the food. Can't thank you enough!

Very nice Italian place, helpful and knowledgeable staff and the cocktails are made to perfection, not to mention the really good food. We only went for the aperitif so we only tasted the appetizers but it was enough for us to understand that everything is of excellent quality, it feels like being in Italy! Super recommended and we will definitely be back

The atmosphere wasn't bad, and the female bartender was very friendly. Even though they were busy, they responded kindly to us asking many questions. He also explained British culture and recommended good pubs!! The price is relatively high if you order alcohol that is not on the menu, but it was still a delicious and enjoyable experience.
