I always use this restaurant for take away pizza and it is delicious. The service is excellent

Great service, and very warm welcome that made the big difference. Food was good and fast just what we needed before a show on a busy Saturday.

First time visiting this restaurant and actually my first time eating at Prezzo at all! I was surprisingly impressed by the service that we received this afternoon/evening. When we arrived, we were greeted by a lovely and friendly man who sat us upstairs. We were given our menus and about 10 mins later, a waitress came, asked if we had any dietary requirements and then took our order. I can’t remember how long the food took to come but it was very reasonable considering it was a Saturday night and the restaurant was full. The meal itself was good - I don’t really have anything to compare it to as we ordered things that we hadn’t tried before but there were no complaints or dissatisfied teenagers. I used my Tesco vouchers as part payment with no problems whatsoever. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and wouldn’t hesitate to go back.

We had a delicious lunch with our daughter prior to the theatre. The sauce for our ravioli was really to die for, all served promptly and cheerfully.

Six of us were eating before the theatre. Very friendly and helpful servers, lasagne, pasta and pizzas were all delicious. Not to mention the desserts.

We were asked if we wanted a cocktail, we said no, husband driving, I have an allergy to alcohol. We asked for blood orange cooler which we have had before. She said they didn't have it, offered blood orange and peach . It was only when I looked today I realised they were £11 each and were alcoholic. It explains why I was very unwell about an hour later , luckily lots of St John's ambulance people about as it was the London marathon. Obviously an example of upselling at its worst. It ruined what should have been a lovely family occasion, meeting successful runners.

High quality food and great prices. We had an exceptional pizza, the goat cheese and roasted red peppers (add pepperoni) and loved it. Ask for hot pepper oil for added spice. The service is very attentive and welcoming. Our Server was very pleasant and accommodating. Upstairs atmosphere is better than downstairs. I recommend this restaurant to anyone. It is especially good for those looking to attend a show, since food and drinks are prepared expeditiously.

Menu has changed and now quite restricted. Not much in way of grilled food or fish. Bulk of the menu is pasta or pizza. Would benefit with being more varied. It would also be nice if the manager, when serving, was not eating something himself. Quite off putting when he is serving a side of fries. Left wondering whether he had pinched some before serving them!

Some of the blandest food I can remember eating at a restaurant. Will not return and would encourage people not to order any of their pizzas.

Tratados como cargadores libres como nuestra comida fue parte de una experiencia del Día de la Carta Roja. Personal desinteresado, cubiertos sucios, menú pequeño y limitado que producía comida mediocre, ¿alguien rancio e insípido pastel de chocolate? ¿Te preguntaron varias veces si estábamos en “dos o tres platos” con nuestro vale? ¡Es curioso que no les importara tomar nuestro dinero para la factura de bebidas y el cargo por servicio! Una furgoneta de pescado y patatas habría sido mejor.

Me and my partner came for lunch. My partner had a meaty feast calzone and I had crab and lobster ravioli. There was hardly any meat in the calzone. He wouldn't pay £22 for that. Pizza express puts more meat in the calzone than Prezzo. My ravioli tasted good but the pasta was hard. I wouldn't come back. But the staff were loved and understood

La pasta se cocinó demasiado en agua muy ligeramente salada. La carne era probablemente tocino no panceta y definitivamente no guancialle. Probablemente contenía crema haciendo la salsa más dulce que ponzoñosa. Pleasant service and super good food! the decoration is simple and sober, and the prices are quite reasonable for what you eat!

It was the worst pizza I’ve ever eaten in my life. I get really unhappy when I eat a bad meal. If you’re going to have pizza, just buy a ready-made one from Tesco or Sainsbury’s—they’re ten times more delicious than this one. Service was okay and atmosphere is fine too.

My friend had a pasta voucher for him and in order to keep him company, i wanted to get a starter and a drink. Would have spend about £12 in this place. The server said that this wasn't possible and that we both had to get a £5 pasta so my friend could use his discount! In the end, I left the place and left my friend eating on his own 😐 They could have made more profit but decided to apply stupid conditions instead...their loss.

Went in for some lunch I had a pizza which was amazing and lovely and soo tasty my we girl had the garlic bread and Bolognese and the garlic bread was amazing the Bolognese was better than her grandads and his was the best B4 we came here. Staff was so friendly and placed was clean and tidy only down side they did not take cash card only but well worth a visit and differently be back onour next visit to London

We had a delicious meal here for my birthday and even got free cake! The staff were friendly and looked after us really well, the atmosphere was relaxed, the restaurant was clean, the food was exceptionally delicious and service was fast. 10/10

Ordered the kids meal and then told after 10 mins of ordering that items were unavailable. New kids starter then arrived 15 mins after the adults main leaving my son to not have his with me. The main then came out and it was that hot that it burnt his hands and ended up in tears. Colleagues in the restaurant did help but while he then carried on eating the main after it cooled down his dessert then turned up which is ridiculous. We obviously turned it away and they then left it on the bar for him to have when he finished which isn’t ideal. Really like coming to prezzo but after this I won’t be returning due to the first aid and disorganisation

Visited a few times over the years and always lovely food ad polite staff. We always use our Tesco Club Card Vouchers and they never make you feel awkward like some restaurants have done 🥰😍 🍕 🍺 🍷 🍹 🍸

The food at Prezzo was decent. However, we had to wait over 15 minutes for our dessert, and no one seemed to be handling our order. When we asked, the explanation given was that they had to make the tiramisu, which supposedly took time. However, we all know that tiramisu is prepared in advance and left overnight. Besides, the tiramisu we received was still frozen, making their explanation quite misleading. Additionally, the staff should be more mindful of how they speak to customers. After we made our payment, one of the staff members said, “Bye, girls” to us.

En primer lugar, el tipo que parecía ser un gerente (camisa rosa pálido) era más que grosero. Tienen la orden bastante equivocada. Pedí una pizza y solo la mitad de la pizza tenía cualquier cobertura - solo la salsa de tomate - en serio. Esto fue enviado de vuelta a la cocina. Uno de nosotros tenía una pizza calzone y esto era frío y de mal gusto. Pedimos una ensalada césar y llegó una ensalada de jardín - el camarero no estaba contento cuando se mencionó esto. Las hamburguesas estaban muy mal presentadas, simplemente tiradas en platos sin guarnición. Pedimos aceitunas y no aparecieron - el camarero sugirió que aceptemos la ensalada de jardín en su lugar, ya que esto era más barato! Los baños no estaban limpios y un cubículo no tenía papel. En general, poca experiencia por el dinero pagado.

We were a party of 4. The Manager was welcoming, efficient and accommodating. Our prawn starters were perfect. My friend (is a chef) and I had spaghetti carbonara, she said "best she'd ever had", she knows her food. All meals were fresh and hot. Good service & atmosphere, we will go again.

We were looking forward to our meal at prezzo we eat here quite often but unfortunately my partner found a hair in her pasta that clearly wasn’t hers. We spoke to the waitress who really wasn’t bothered. While we were talking to her the manager was sat with his friends drinking beer and then went back to working as we were leaving. Real wouldn’t recommend going here. Whom ownes it needs to spot check this specific one, we love a prezzo unfortunately this is one over looked.

Really impressed with my experience at Prezzo on St Martin’s Lane. Waiting staff were very welcoming, and everything was timed well. I have dietary requirements and there was a great selection of gluten free food I could eat. Will definitely be back

Staff was not very friendly, veggies were burnt, pasta was over cooked, and it was all quite flavourless to be frank. Wetherspoons has more flavour…

RUDE!!! Zero respect for customers. I urge management to speak to whoever is in charge with greeting customers at the door. We where yelled at to close the door before my family where even all through it. Bad attitude and we are definitely not about that when spending our money for any dining experience.

Good menu options, service here was great. Both server and manager; both patience and polite, not rushing customers. Good ambience. Only criticism would be for the prices you'd expect slightly bigger portions. A generous portion of pasta/cannelloni would better suit these prices...nonetheless would probably go back as it's better than other Italian chain restaurants. Was able to use NHS blue light card here which helps.

The food here was delicious. We chose to share a cheese filled bread twist with garlic butter to start. Braised Tuscan beef with mash and a margarita pizza. Then we indulged in lemon meringue and sticky toffee pudding for dessert. Every single dish tasted amazing and the beef was 10/10! The waitress was kind enough to allow us time between each course as we don’t like to rush our food. This was very appreciated as many restaurants bang out course after course and you leave feeling bloated because you’ve eaten too fast. Our waitress (Angela) was very professional and friendly, as were all the staff we encountered. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and would revisit again if we were ever in the area.

Fatto A Mano across the road is so much better....... After my nephews fingers got trapped in the front door and the staff saw/heard this happen (he screamed out crying) the staff choose to ignore us, made us wait 20mins in the cold with 2 toddlers and gran with a walking aid, only to eventually tell us they were closing in 30mins. Another customer kindly came and gave some ice in a tissue for my nephews fingers. Luckily, the staff at Fatto A Mano on the opposite side were more humane, lovely staff and their food is so much nicer than Prezzos.

Food service was bad. They kept serving other tables though the other tables came later. Started to cheer the plates even though we we still having our drink. The next surprise was that the bill was placed on our table though we were still eating

Service was slow. Food was okay but could be better. As my wife was having her last bit of food they came and cleared the plates whilst still eating!

Came on a wet Thursday evening. We had a reservation, and it was very busy. On arrival we were shown to a table downstairs with a few other people. My fear was , with us all arriving at the same time the service would be slow and poor . On the contrary , the very efficient waitress took all drinks orders ( by this time at least 5 other tables had arrived) and they were very quickly delivered, as was our food when ordered . The food was lovely, usual Prezzo fayre. Our waitress was so attentive, we had a toddler and baby with us and nothing was too much trouble. I noticed the manager several times coming down and helping serve and check all was well. Full credit to the manager who has clearly trained his staff well and delivers such excellent service at such a busy time

I stopped for a quick lunch and as luck would have it, I met a waitress who spoke Italian, very kind, she helped me with my choice and recommended it really well, nice and clean place, good first courses and also pizza, fast service, prices expensive for Italy but good for central London, friendly and helpful staff.

I recently visited this Prezzo branch and had an unpleasant experience. Upon entering, I was greeted unprofessionally by a staff member, Angela (she was not wearing a Prezzo uniform, just normal clothes). She asked if we had any allergies, to which we replied yes. I opted for the vegan menu option to prevent any allergy attacks. However, when I kindly asked Angela for the vegan menu, she displayed a rude and stroppy attitude about it. She even said, “I told you to check the barcode,” which I found unhelpful and dismissive. I explained to her that I feel more comfortable opting for the vegan menu due to my allergy concerns, but her attitude did not improve. Whilst we were looking at the menu, Angela didn’t give us much time to decide what we wanted to order. She kept coming to the table to ask if we were ready to order-this happened three times. We felt rushed, as though they wanted us out of the restaurant. Later, another man, also not in uniform, came to take our order. We informed him of our allergy again. When I referred to the menu, I saw that "vg" stood for vegan, so I ordered a vegan salad. However, he rudely informed me that it was not vegan but vegetarian. I pointed out that the menu clearly stated "vg" for vegan, yet he continued to be impolite, though he eventually took my order. When my order arrived, a young lady in uniform served the salad. I noticed it came with a dressing and asked her if it contained dairy. She admitted she was unsure and said she would check with her manager. I found it alarming that the dish had been served without confirming whether it was safe for someone with allergies. She returned later and assured me it did not contain any allergens. However, I still felt uncomfortable consuming it and asked for proof of the ingredients. Angela then responded in a very unprofessional manner, saying, “We know what we are doing,” and took a photo of the ingredient list. I explained that it was irresponsible to serve food without checking for allergens first, as this poses a significant risk. Angela rudely repeated that they take allergies seriously and dismissed my concerns. I emphasised my right to ask for ingredient verification, which she reluctantly acknowledged. The overall experience was highly disappointing. The food was cold, hard, dry, and flavourless. The staff were conceited, unprofessional, rude, and dismissive. They need to take allergy concerns more seriously. I would rate this place zero stars due to their lack of professionalism and poor service.

overcooked food, not solving problems, overcharge on bill. Food had been too long in deep fry(instead of pan) which did not make the chicken batter ´golden´ as stated on the menu, rather dark brown. A simple pasta bolongaise was very poorly made, tastless and a twining tea was £4. They were not rude, but kindness only takes you so far and they didnt fix food complain, they asked to fix it, when we said yes, manager came and asked again instead of just fixing it, he explained this is ´normal´ making us feel bothering them with poorly made food. If you can not deliver service and you can not deliver fair quality food its not a place people go back again. Not to mention they charge more for a meal then on the menu. If we didnt check we would be overcharged with the excuse that it was the wrong button on the till. Chain restaurants doesnt mean always bad food but in this case it reminded me to stick with eating at independent restaurant owners who care about quality and service.

Starters. - Pale un-chillied prawns. Barely warm calamari. Just a single anchovy on another dish Back to kitchen and dealt with but poor, particularly for price.

We are extremely disappointed with the experience at your establishment at Trafalgar squares. When we entered the shop, it was because we urgently needed to use the washroom. As we were trying to head downstairs, one of the staff rudely informed us that we couldn’t use the facility. The behavior was completely uncalled for and showed a lack of empathy. We were in a dire situation, and instead of handling it politely or offering assistance, the staff’s attitude was hostile and unprofessional. This treatment was shocking, especially since we were prepared to place an order right after resolving our immediate need. Such behavior creates a very unwelcoming environment and discourages customers from returning. Please take this feedback seriously and consider training your staff to treat customers with basic respect and understanding. Thank you.

Went to Shaftesbury lane branch Saturday evening for pre theatre meal booked at 5pm which was pointless as there seemed to be no reserved table ask for a slightly quieter table and was quite abruptly told it was very busy (and loud). Ordered pesto gnocchi which was, I can only describe as, pasty, it stuck to my teeth, my wife had what was supposed to be a small pizza with a side salad, described as a thinner crispier base, it was a normal pizza base cut in half, which was tough to cut. We had 2drinks vodka and coke and a small lager. We were going to have a coffee but it took too long for the waiting staff to return. So we went and asked for the bill. Basically 2 cheaper end main dishes and 2 drinks for £50. Will not be returning anytime soon.

Fuimos a la rama de Shaftesbury lane el sábado por la noche para la comida previa al teatro reservada a las 5 pm, que no tenía sentido, ya que parecía que no había una mesa reservada pedir una mesa un poco más tranquila y fue bastante abruptamente dicho que estaba muy ocupado (y ruidoso). Pedido pesto ñoquis que era, solo puedo describir como, pastoso, se pegó a mis dientes, mi esposa tenía lo que se suponía que era una pizza pequeña con una ensalada lateral, descrita como una base más delgada crujiente, era una base de pizza normal cortada por la mitad, que era difícil de cortar. Tomamos 2 bebidas de vodka y coca y una pequeña cerveza. Íbamos a tomar un café, pero el personal de espera tardó demasiado en volver. Así que fuimos y pedimos la factura. Básicamente 2 platos principales finales más baratos y 2 bebidas por £ 50. No regresará pronto.

On arrival checked if we could use a 50% discount voucher, all went down hill following this prices certainly increased and portion sizes decreased well certainly the pizza toppings. Pizza hard to cut knife very blunt, ordered a dessert, wrong one came the waitress reluctantly took it away and eventually returned with the correct one overall poor customer services disappointed as been many times before and always been great may of been better if not using a voucher

RUDE manager who refused our tastecard despite it being advertised on the app. Said that tastecard is limited to 30 sittings per day despite the restaurant being empty. Even had to pay a service charge despite the rude and awful service because the tiny tablet screen we had to pay on was not clear and I think that’s how they con a lot of people! AVOID this place. Ended up with a 50 plus bill for 2 people and not much food. Dessert was also a tiny and ridiculous sized portion.

This is my first visit to this restaurant. The atmosphere was pleasant. The place was very clean. Gwen met us and provided amazing service. Thanks to her our visit was very comfortable. We were surrounded by attention all the time. Service was very quick. The food was amazing. Lasagne was mouthwatering, I am looking forward to going back for more. Pizzas were really very good. All family enjoyed the food. We thanked Chief and left.

The restaurant itself is very nice and we loved how close to Trafalgar and Leicester square it is. But the food was unfortunately below average, even for these sort of chain restaurants. The pizzas came with very hard crust, which was impossible to cut, and the taste in general was subpar. It's a decent choice if you're hungry and need something in a pinch, but if you're actually looking for a good culinary experience, look elsewhere.

Our third visit pre theatre visit on Saturday. Service good but the food portions have withered. Crab and Lobster pasta had 11 pieces for £20! Very poor value!

Food was fine but nothing special. The service was good, though, and there was plenty of comfortable seating. Overall I don’t feel the value matched the price of the dishes.

Manager was rude on the door regarding usage of taste card, and he continued to be very blunt and unfriendly when taking our order. He also got our order wrong so had to send food back before receiving the correct pizza. The food was subpar, pasta was like it came out of the microwave, Pinsa pizza was tiny for the price and was a very standard flavourless pizza. You would be better off getting a ready meal and a frozen pizza. If the food was cheap, it would be understandable, but for mains nearing £20 you expect a lot better.

Having just spent 9 weeks In Italy, the food here st Prezzo was below par. I realised yesterday the food here is microwaved. My pasta was tepid on the outside & mouth burning in the middle, over cooked. My husband had Crab & Lobster Ravioli, which was the opposite to my Pasta, it was too aldente. We have agreed in future we will not be visiting anymore big restaurants.

Horrible service, very bad. Will never be here again, asked for a chilli oil and the waitress avoided it like a pro. Never made eye contact again.

One word. Disappointed! The service provided by this restaurant was unprofessional and rude. We went in with a taste card discount which was confirmed by the workers that it was fine to use before hand and which we have previously used in Prezzo before. We ordered a jug of water to share yet when served the glasses were dirty and clearly used without washing after. When asking for the bill we showed the taste card code to use but to our surprise the waiter refused to accept the discount which we were previously told we were able to use. He made up an excuse saying they don’t accept it in this restaurant even though we have used it before. The staff made us feel stupid and it really is a shame the rest of our evening was ruined as we were expecting to make our moneys worth considering the prices were quite high. Wouldn’t recommend and will not be returning.

Went because we had Tesco vouchers, which were easily accepted. Very busy & lots of tables quite close together. Asked not to be next to little kids - sat down & two mins later they sat another lively family next to us. Staff were overrun & too busy to help each other, doing their best but should be more of them on busy Saturday afternoon at height of season near tourist sites. Chicken burger was delicious, pasta was nice, affogato left on side before serving and had been pre cooked and heated again. Tiramisu bit bland. It was a typical chain restaurant trying to make as much money as possible & not really about the ambiance. Was ok for what it was but have been to better places & wouldn’t choose to return.

Came across this Italian casual chain not far from our hotel in Kensington and were pleasantly surprised. The burrata salad was delicious, the dolce pirate pizza was awesome, and the spaghetti and crab were tasty and fresh (however missing the "generous portion of crab meat advertised. Nice menu, friendly staff.

Good, not great, food. Tiny portion. Really bad service. I expected much better. I ended up getting tired of waiting and simply left cash on the table to pay for the entree and walking out. The food was good but not worth the money. Like a McDonalds of Italian restaurants.

L'accueil a été correct et la serveuse souriante. La salade d'avocat était fade. La vinaigrette est surtout un filet d'huile. donc aucun intérêt gustatif. Le restaurant n'a d'italien que le nom: les spaghetti carbonara n'était pas de vrais spaghetti carbonara : il n'y avait pas de parmesan, il y avait de la crème et du bacon ultra grillé au lieu de la pancetta. Les pâtes étaient trop cuites. Attention : j'ai constaté un écart de 20 livres entre l'addition et le montant qui m'a été débité sur ma carte bancaire. J'étais étonné de ne pas avoir de reçu de la part de la serveuse, mais je n'ai pas forcé. Ce n'est qu'après être rentré chez moi que je me suis aperçu de la différence. Erreur ou fraude? En synthèse : je ne recommande pas ce restaurant. A l'attention du chef cuisinier de prezzo: n'hésitez pas à aller voir sur internet comment faire de véritables spaghetti carbonara.

Extremely disappointing! This was a reservation made with a Taster card before a trip to the Theatre. The manager refused to honour the Taster card offer but more to the point, the way he made us feel totally ruined our and our friends’ evening. I wish we hadn’t gone there or that they had not advertised the Taster card offer, in which case we would have either gone somewhere else or not expected the discount. The Taster card is not free. If they advertise offers using the Taster card, they should honour it. We will not be returning! Apart from that the food was as you would expect, it won’t be difficult to find alternatives.

It was very nice however the pizza was a tad bit oily and the pasta was a tad creamy but everything else was nice 😊 .

Horrible Service and disgusting meal.

The grilled chicken in the salad had a terrible smell and rotten taste. This is most likely due to the gas grill not being cleaned properly. The pasta was watery and tasteless

Great service from attentive staff. Friendly and really nice atmosphere.
