Italian restaurant (really Italian!!), in central London; Italian chef and staff give a charming place the added value of this experience. Rich menu but with selected dishes, demonstrating that each ingredient is fresh and of Italian origin. Specialties of chef Fabrizio, originally from southern Italy, are handmade tagliatelle with ragù, tiramisu (perhaps the best ever tried - including Italian restaurants) and several of his other creations such as the "tartare" of dried tomatoes, totally vegetarian and absolutely tasty. Compliments also to the attention of the dining room manager Maurizio who follows the customer with discreet attention from start to finish. Possibility to speak Italian. Average prices considering the area. Highly recommended.

I was pleasantly surprised by my experience at the Italian restaurant in London run by chef Fabrizio. The atmosphere of the restaurant is elegant and refined, but at the same time welcoming and friendly. The attention to detail is evident in every aspect, from the furnishings to the plating of the dishes to the quality of the food. The cuisine is simply superlative and unexpected, considering the tendency of Italian restaurants abroad to disappoint expectations. Here, however, I was able to taste excellent raw materials and authentic dishes that made me feel as if I were back in Italy. (Even the tagliatelle are homemade!) Maurizio, the restaurant manager, made my experience even more special by recommending the perfect wine to accompany the dishes and explaining every detail with passion and competence. The restaurant is located in a particular boutique hotel frequented by an educated and refined clientele, in a very beautiful area of London and easily reachable even by public transport which continues until late at night. I cannot fail to mention the tiramisu, a true masterpiece that I have never eaten even in Italy. Chef Fabrizio's ability to combine innovation and Italian tradition while respecting the raw materials is truly commendable. In conclusion, I highly recommend this restaurant to all lovers of good Italian cuisine who wish to have an authentic and unforgettable gastronomic experience in London.

Excellent quality of food and service. Would thoroughly recommend. We had the wonderful Angus ribeye steak... Cooked to perfection and wonderful flavour. The chips and peppercorn sauce were also delicious For starters the foccacia bread was freshly baked and the pan seared veal with tuna was amazing . We finished with chocolate fondant and mango cheesecake, both of which were amazing. The service was also excellent.

This is a Superb Restaurant in the Heart of the West End! The Head Chef Fabrizio deliverd the most amazing of taster style starters, followed by a pasta course and main course. Needless to say, I needed to be on the treadmill the day after! Maurizio and Claudio alo were very attentive, knew the menu inside and out, and made sure drinks were always at hand. It is a must for a visitors and locals to go to if you're looking for a gem a little off the beaten track, but only a 10 minute walk from Bond Street tube station (near Selfridges). Excellent food excellent service! We had a number of dishes all of impeccable quality. Our main was the rib eye steak which genuinely melted. Other highlights were the parmesan churros, tagliatelle white beef ragu, panna cotta and tiramisu. Last but not least the best focaccia in London. Definitely recommended for top quality dining.

If you think Italian food is your local Italian on the high street - think again. Dieci introduces you to flavours, concepts and dishes that will transport you the fields of Tuscany, the cobbled streets of Florence and the terraces of Rome. Whether it’s the main menu or some of the smaller bites that are available, each dish is perfectly crafted and executed to the most exacting standards. You can tell that head chef Fabrizio pours his heart, soul and a lot of love into each dish. The innovative edge he brings to classic Italian ingredients is a joy to behold and each mouthful will send you to heaven. Parmesan churros, arrancini, carpaccio with tuna, Burrata with sun dried tomatoes, a goats cheese medallion - these were just some of the delights we sampled. For mains, we had steak, with a sweet, rich and creamy peppercorn sauce. Dessert was sensational. Panna cotta, tiramisu, cheesecake and a chocolate fondant bathed in salted caramel sauce. Everything was simply perfection. This is Italian food taken to the next level. An artist who has mastered his craft. The settings are tranquil. If you fancy the perfect end to the experience, the attentive staff will take you to the cigar bar where you can sample the finest cigars in the city. The service is impeccable. Maurizio and Claudio made us feel extremely welcome and the attention to detail was evident throughout. Quality runs through the veins of this establishment and it is a must try for anyone looking to push the boat out for a special occasion. Could not fault any aspect of this visit. 11/10

Dieci is quite possibly the best Italian food you will get to enjoy in London. It's all about flavour and Chef Fabrizio knows his stuff. He's incredible to say the least. The Tiramisu is properly soaked in coffee and topped with a high quality mascarpone cream that blows your mind. There are vegetarian options such as home-made Gnocchi, Goat Cheese & Peas. Gnocco Fritto (fried pizza dough) is to die for. The best desserts on the menu are by far the Tiramisu, Panna Cotta and Chocolate Lava Cake with Caramel and Ice Cream. To top it all off, the service is impeccable and the overall atmosphere is just relaxing. What a wonderful experience. Thank you team ❤️

Nothing to make this afternoon tea experience stand out from many others but it was a pleasant enough afternoon. We pretty much had the place to ourselves on a Sunday afternoon and so it was pretty relaxing. The seating was comfortable and the service was fine and unhurried. The sandwiches were not overly exciting and the white bread had hardened a little but the little scones were good - the pastries ok. Plenty of choice from the tea menu but the tea itself didn't retain its heat. Pricewise it was reasonable.

I have had the good fortune to eat here on 4 occasions, twice for dinner and twice for breakfast. All dishes were reasonably priced, cooked perfectly and served piping hot. On one occasion the staff seemed slightly too few to cope and things were slightly delayed. All was dealt with in a friendly fashion and it didn't detract from the otherwise excellent experience. After dinner there is the frankly gorgeous selection of cigars available on the terrace or in the lounge and I can thoroughly recommend exploring these at length :)

I thought I'd treat myself to a nice breakfast here as I was a resident at the hotel. Sadly disappointed I was..... I had the Eggs Royale (£12.50), which had an extremely thin slice of smoked salmon with two very small poached eggs on the plate. The food was nearly cold. This was the female server's fault (an Eastern European sounding young lady) - she was too busy gabbing with another female colleague at the back of the restaurant. They were in plain sight so I watched them gossip and enjoy themselves. Little did I know that in the meantime my food was ready. I actually saw the chef come out of the kitchen to prompt her to retrieve and serve my food! When the food arrived it was, at best, lukewarm. I ate my food and it was fairly bland. I also had a cup of coffee. This was fine but given that it cost £4.50 it was very much on the small side. So, the overall bill was £17, which, given its size, quality, temperature, and flavour was very expensive. Add on the very bad service, and the meal was a complete rip-off. That is why I was surprised to see that they had the audacity to add on a gratuity to the bill. Needless to say I asked for this to be removed due to the non-existent service.

I arrived on time and presented my self to the receptionist saying I had a reservation for afternoon tea. A waiter immediately popped out and greeted me by name and led me to my prepared table. As well as a dessert plate with cutlery my table had a small side plate and butter knife, a selection of 6 jars of jam (raspberry, strawberry, apricot and marmalade (all Wilkin)), salt and pepper mills and a bowl of sugar. My order was taking promptly and the requested glass of tap water and pot of tea arrived promptly. A small jug of milk and some pats of butter were also brought.Soon my sandwiches arrived. There were six sandwiches; two each of grilled aubergine and cream cheese; chicken and salad; smoked salmon and cream cheese. The grilled aubergine and cream cheese isn't something I would have thought of creating my self but it was surprisingly tasty. Along with my sandwiches were nine fancies; a small pastry cup of vanilla custard with strawberry, a small pastry cup of vanilla custard with a fresh mint sprig and a small pastry cup of chocolate custard with cranberries as well as two each of three different biscuits. All were excellent with the chocolate custard being particularly memorable.A few minutes later my scones (one plain, one fruit) arrived fresh from the oven along with two little pastries and some cream.A requested hot water top up for my tea was no problem and I was offered more sandwiches which, as the food originally brought was so plentiful, I regretfully had to decline. This was an excellent tea and I enjoyed it very much. The food was very good and the staff attentive but discreet. My only niggle is the "discretionary service charge". It's not mentioned on the website and it's not mentioned on the menu posted outside. I'm not sure if it's on the table menus as I didn't really look at it, knowing already what I wanted. In the UK I'm used to paying the price quoted for goods and services so to have 12.5% added without warning is a step in the wrong direction. I'm guessing management will say that, as I don’t have to pay it, they don't have to mention it beforehand.Anyway, the meal would be good value at £26 + service but I had a offer so got it for £16 + service which made it exceptionally good value.

Had lunch here with a friend as we wanted to try their cigar terrace. My burrata with grilled veggies was quite good, but my friend's chickpea soup was rather tasteless. My lamb was fine and so ws my friend's cutlet Milanese. Reasonable wine by the glass. All for close to $ 90, more than a bit too much in my opinion. Service was impeccable. We then moved to the cigar terrace, a quiet corner in London (open until 9pm) and a knowledgeable staff explained to us the options from a huge humidor of Cuban cigars. Expect to pay about double what you would pay at a shop, which I suppose is fine. You can bring your own cigars but there is a minimum spend of £ 25 per person. You can also choose from a list of whiskys and other spirits. The atmosphere of the heated terrace is great for a relaxed talk and smoke. I will return, but probably only for the terrace.

I had heard nice things about this Italian Restaurant and was looking forward to a good dining experience. The room has little character and a stream of people kept coming through to visit a cigar Bar outside at the back of the Hotel. The previously advertised Set Menu was not available and although the a la carte had good selections it would have been nice to see the alternative menu. Vastly overpriced with small portions the food was dull to say the least. No bottle of wine available under £30, a double expresso at £4.50 and charmless service all added up to a very disappointing evening..especially at £149 for two! Starters of ravioli mozzarella and calamaretti fritti were delicious with plenty of flavour and you can taste the freshness of the baby squid that was lightly coated in a thin batter. Mains of roast chicken and octopus salad with salty ricotta were the star of the meal. Chicken was tender and juicy and the octopus just melted in your mouth. Dessert of crepe with coconut ice-cream was rich yet light. The cigar room was a pleasant surprise. Light, airy and cool like the main restaurant and doesn't smell of stale cigars. Nice. 'Number Ten' has been a favourite place to dine over several years and is seemingly overlooked because it is discreetly tucked within a fairly new hotel. However it is highly recommended and I have eaten many good meals with friends and business colleagues. In March I took a colleague to the hotel's restaurant, Deici, for a 'thank-you' lunch before she departed for pastures new. We had a really excellent meal with immaculate service. The menu has since changed - it is regularly updated - and so unfortunately I can't recall exactly what we ate; suffice it to say it was all really good with lovely wine. Upon departing it was completely pouring and so we were kindly and proactively lent an umbrella (a short trip back with the next day it from Baker Street).More recently in April, a friend and I decided we need perking up and booked a table for lunch. We were initially greeted by one of the hotel porters/concierge who was not quite as polished in his service as the restaurant maître, who is a terrific lady. Once she arrived, we were expertly looked after and guided through the spring menu. We had bread and oils to keep us going, the bread home-made but possibly a bit salty. I had the mozzarella and prosciutto to start (superb) and my friend, who had opted to go straight to pasta, realised her folly and 'dug in'.For the main course we had minestrone soup (me keeping it light) and my friend the Strozzapreti pasta with sausage. Disappointingly my soup was really quite salty, but not inedible. The pasta dish was excellent and enough was left over for me to reciprocate the plate cleaning :-) It is always tricky when food is otherwise perfect but spoiled by seasoning, so we did advise the maître, but at the end of the meal ... else whilst one dish is sent back, the other is embarrassingly growing cold ... better to be right first time. This time we had water rather than wine.Of note, off the restaurant, is a small, quiet and nicely masculine cigar terrace with large, cushioned 'wicker' sofas and overhead heaters. Aficionados can bring their own, or purchase cigars from the impressive walk-in humidor. Although intended for hotel guests, non-residents may also partake and tables may be reserved. A minimum 'spend' of £25 per head is required so fine if you are there for the afternoon or intending seeing off more than one bottle of wine, but otherwise expensive if a single cocktail is what you're after.Friends and overseas business colleagues have frequently stayed in the hotel with good reports.I notice another reviewer has mentioned the saltiness of their food, so perhaps the best suggestion is to ask, when placing your order, to have no added salt. This may help to overcome the otherwise great potential to have a lovely meal in comfortable, peaceful and private surroundings. I appreciate this is not what one should expect to have to do though !!!

We went on a Friday night and were surprised to find that the restaurant was empty. There were guests on one table, who left soon after we arrived, which meant having conversation was very awkard, as we spoke in very hashed voices due to the quietness. The advertised special was not really a special at all, when you added up the actual cost of the dishes, it added up to the price of the voucher. The waitress showed us the set menu and advised that the price was £30 each, as shown, but with the toptable booking we would be paying only £29.50 each. My first starter of tuna was very small, followed by the vegetarian pasta dish, which was ok. On the plus side, the service was very attentive and polite. The restaurant itself was nice.

Helt topp mat, spiste frokost én dag, bestilte room service to dager. Litt dyr, men veldig god.

I visited the No. Ten Restaurant Lounge for afternoon tea. "Scones" were hard and dry (even covering it in jam and "clotted cream" could not save this disaster), sandwiches were scanty and flavorless. Pretty macaroons and mini cakes / chocolates were provided but were definitely not hand made (is this expecting too much?). Water provided for the tea was lukewarm at most even when we asked to have it refilled with hot water twice. For GBP 19.50 (plus service charge), I think there is much much better value to be had. Staff was nice though, and the decor was modern and stylish. Will not be returning though.

Normally do not eat in hotel restaurants. Number 10 was a pleasant surprise. Only complaint - overpriced wine.

On a short trip away with my wife, we were looking for something a little different and came across this restaurant. Tucked away not far from Baker St tube station, it looked like we were going into someone's house! A small restaurant in this boutique hotel, we were made to feel very welcome with great service from the waitresses who knew the menu well. The menu had something for all, reasonably priced, and cooked/presented beautifully. We are also members of taste card which made the visit even cheaper!Well worth a visit.

All aspects of our dining experience were genuinely excellent. In particular, the food was delicious and the service was flawless. I cannot remember the last time I could honestly give such feedback about a London restaurant. By coincidence, my wife and I met your Events Manager just prior to our visit - she did not know we were visiting the restaurant and she was not at work - but was happy to give us tips on places to visit in Covenant Garden. We would love to visit your restaurant again. P.S. Even as a fairly regular recipient of homemade olive oil from the Mediterranean, I can confirm that yours was better (please don’t tell my grandmother).

Decent food, expensive - but it's prime location, good service and portion, no atmosphere, and very tight sitting...

We only had coffees in the place. The palace was super quiet as the only customers were us at the time, afternoon approx 4pm. The place is clean and tidy, with music playing. The fridge or some equipment was a bit noisy.
