Host was friendly patient and put our table at ease .

Our son was visiting , so as a treat took him for lunch his Italian food was fine, my husband and myself after being told no Sunday lunch , we opted for festive meal food was very poor, 2 sprouts on plate yes after complaining brought more , def put us off returning. Disappointed customer.

Really good food, service and a great evening at Fiumi I can certainly recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves Italian food.

My wife and I went to the restaurant for an evening meal. The waitress took our order and my wife ordered fillet steak off the main menu. The couple sitting next to us told us that they had just ordered fillet steak and been told they didn’t have any!!! Sure enough the waitress returned and confirmed this …… very disappointing as my wife had really been looking forward to it. We eventually reordered and got two OK meals but never an apology.

Kids menu wasn’t brilliant and the bread used for the sandwiches was old

We got a table booked for half 6 ordered drinks and food straight away .. ordered potato skins and cheese garlic bread for 4 people to share .: by 7:15 we were told the chef didn’t see the garlic bread on the ticket it won’t be long, took around an hour in total for starters to come then mains came after, I wanted no Napoli sauce on my burger .. it came with it on .. the place was freezing and another table where eating with the jackets on, then all the lights went out.

Been a customer of Fiume for a number of years . The menu has been down sized and my favourite dish is still on the menu but looks like is has been tweaked it was nice but not as much as I remember off old menu the staff were great fast and friendly service beer was flat tonight also . Usually 5/5 but 4/5 tonight

Just wanted to thank Team Fiume today. Me and husband often visit for Sunday lunch. Today I chose to have pasta Fiume and Hubby had roast chicken dinner. Amazing food, quick, friendly service. Everything was spot on. Well worth a visit if you have never been.

Beautiful food as always and the young girl who served us was lovely

On arrival the waitress showed us to our table. The restaurant was very cold. We were sat under an air conditioning unit. We were all cold as the unit was blowing cold air! My husband asked the waitress if it could be turned off? She came with a very small heater which is appropriate for a small box bedroom. Other people in the restaurant were sat with outdoor coats on or wrapped around themselves. This is totally unacceptable! Waitresses have no idea what is going on. We were asked several times about drinks and food by different waitresses. My mother in law was still eating her main course and yet the waitress decided to come and take plates. Very unprofessional almost as if she wasn’t trained front of house. Not a good experience for my sons birthday

It’s was extremely cold in the room throughout my time there

Food and service was amazing. There was an issue with the heating and temperature was cold but the service and food more than made up for it . Highly recommend

Fiume cancelled 2hrs before my booking (made online a week previously) to accommodate a private event. Leaving little notice to a sort another restaurant for Sunday Lunch.

Didn't think I was going to get in, I'm a wheelchair user, my son went and asked a couple of people outside and they said if go down between the outside seating area and through the door there is a lift. Staff very accommodating. Sorry don't know about the loo situation. Food was delicious and very reasonable.

Chicken burger was great although the portion was too big for me in the end. Garlic bread and potato skins were shared as a starter. All food was lovely as usual. Thanks Danielle and Brett.

We have gone to this restaurant for many years both as a couple and a family of 18 to celebrate birthdays and Xmas we booked for our golden wedding anniversary in July sadly they changed the menu and it was to late for us to book some where else. I got a email saying they had listened to customers and changed their menu again so we thought we would give it another try, we went tonight and had prawn starter and Maltese pasta as a main although the main was tasty it was far too much pasta and I only had 6 prawns in the dish which was disappointing. I had also got an e Mail saying 20 percent off during November I did not read the small print which says it’s Monday to Friday my fault but I do think they should have made it clear from the start by saying 20 per cent off from Monday to Friday in November. I don’t think we will go back again Biddick inn which is now an Italian restraunt which is just Along from Fuime gets excellent reviews so we will be trying that and Novellos at Herrington is also very good. I am disappointed to have to give this review as we always used to enjoy Fuime

Absolutely beautiful! Staff were friendly, loads of options my first time at the restaurant and onion rings were lovely went home with a full belly! 10/10

We didn’t expect that the offer of 20% off food meant that there would be 20% less meat in our food! Both the lasagne and the calzone pizza had very little meat in them. We would have rather paid the full price and had food with the correct amount of meat in. The lasagne was more like a vegetarian lasagne. Won’t be rushing back anytime soon.

Having a few nights away. We fancied italian. We found this restaurant on Google. Food was delicious, staff friendly and restaurant had a nice atmosphere.

We visited as a family for Sunday lunch, we were very impressed at the menu choices and as a family of 9 we ordered a broad range of starters and main's and each dish was very good quality and the beef Sunday lunch was served as requested with rare which was cooked to perfection. Our sever Brett was very attentive with the food and drinks and made the whole family feel welcome. Will definitely visit again.

Table was booked for 7pm and it was rather quiet for a Friday evening, service was rather quick which was good, at 9pm a member of our group tried to order a coffee and all they said was “we’ve turned the machine off”. You’d think they’d keep the coffee machine on until all guests have left.

Meal not great had risotto tasted like porridge. Staff disinterested and atmosphere what atmosphere. Piped music sounded scratchy. Been going to Fuime since it opened probably worst experience yet

I can’t really fault the staff and it has been a couple of years since we use to eat here regular but the chips were reheated and horrible, we both went for the half and half … pizza was worse than store bought and pasta was so soggy and wet. Both went for a prawn option as we expected these to be cooked fresh and ate one and knew they were reheated … sorry but not the Fiume we used to know and love!!!

It was a couple of years ago and I really liked it. This time a very little letter extensive, many dishes that they didn't have and I was disappointed in the quality, nothing like what I had tried before.

Sunday lunch arrived 25 mins late and carrot suede cold. Took back and waited a futher 12 mins before bringing back. Ask for meat to be well done, so cut it thick and grilled it. YUK. Overall a very poor deal. Will not be going back ever. Spent £40 given £4 discount. Not brilliant.

Fiumes is an excellent venue and the food is fantastic. It's the only place my party like to meet up. The lunch menu offers fantastic value for money with a good variety of dishes . Staff are polite and prompt and the environment is cozy. I highly recommend this venue.

Food was cold then came back piping hot therefore was microwaved and the garlic pizza bread was raw dough

I ordered from ubeareats as had heard good things before about this restaurant but being in a wheelchair and it's upstairs I never tried it, so order accepted after an hour it was cancelled stating too far to deliver although it's in my area and 1.5 miles besides that it comes up for delivery, after it was cancelled I looked and it's still showing order for delivery within approximately 30 minutes, from what other reviews say I can only assume they couldn't be bothered as it's raining heavily but reading reviews seems I'm lucky as sounds like it has gone downhill

The already limited menu was further depleted with about 40% of the dishes being unavailable. I hear they Are looking for a head chef. I’m not surprised

Pizza were slightly doughy and weren't overly hot. Childrens fishfinger were a little over cooked. Potato skins were lovely. We had booked for 5pm as we had children with us. Service was excellent despite the restaurant being very busy.

Not the best and rather expensive...

Despite arriving a few minutes early we were shown straight to a table and were a little disappointed that it was next to a group of old who were being loud…I was pleased after a few moments they quietened down. We quickly chose our drinks unfortunately the young server couldn’t answer our queries but that was quickly sorted and drinks ordered. When she returned unfortunately both drinks tipped landing on table and into the lap of my partner. After the initial shock she adjourned to toilet and dried off. Luckily the skirt dried quickly. We were reseated and drinks reordered. Food was good and the prawns and calamari starter particularly good. Pasta main was generous and the steak was a little fatty even for a rib eye which was a little over done. Overall the evening was a success and we appreciated the free drinks and disc for the drinks issue, which was resolved without any animosity. The server returned and apologised but as we both said accidents happen and it was resolved satisfactorily without us even asking! All in all a good night and as a last comment I hope the server is ok as she seemed nervous potentially new?

The service was terrible and they didn't have half of what was on the menu.

Quiet Thursday night but the food was delicious and the staff were very friendly. A birthday dinner with family and there was a birthday card on the table when we arrived. They even jumped in with a last minute rescue for a forgotten birthday cake. Will definitely come here again

Staff were great, very friendly. My meal was ok but risotto was very stodgy. Friends meal’s described as ok but not very hot. Burgers were good. Coffees were not the best. Not much froth and couldn’t differentiate between a latte and a cappuccino. In fairness I did not complain and overall we had a good night.

The place needs a makeover and the service was very poor, the restaurant has gone well down hill.

We chose the lunch time special with each of us having a starter and main. The food was of excellent quality with decent size portions. Added to that, our waiter whose name, unfortunately, we do not have, made our visit a pleasure as he was very polite and helpful but also very funny. We definitely enjoyed our visit, which was not our first, and we will be coming back.

Kids meal excellent value for money make your own pizza lovely touch and the ice cream topping tray is unreal. Little one loved the choice. We will be back. Thank you.

Sunday lunch on 25th August, with my husband, son and his partner. booked for 1.30, and on arriving were sent straight to our table, and realised that there wasn't many people in, which made me feel a bit nervous, as our last Sunday lunch here had not been very good! Should have gone then. We all ordered a roast dinner, 3 of of us having chicken and my son having a trio of meats. About 10 minutes later or food arrived, and we weren't offered any sauces condiments and no gravy boat. My meal was clay cold, no one came to check how the food was, so i left most of mine. The other meals were cold too! When it was cleared away, I told her my meal had been cold, and she murmured something but didn't attempt to ask me anymore about my complaint, despite seeing that my plate was hardly touched. We payed the bill and left, will never go back and no wonder there was hardly any diners in the restaurant..... Almost £75 for nothing!!

It's been a while since have attended Fiume and I wasn't disappointed. We are enjoyed our food and the service was spot on.

The service was spot on and the food was lovely. I was even given a birthday card which was a surprise.

Dined here on a Tuesday evening. Staff were excellent, maybe a little forgetful but that's life. Me and my partner both had pizzas and they were ok. Certainly not on par with other Italians we have been to. Nothing to really complain about. I used to dine here 20 years ago and it was my favourite Italians . Food was excellent then. Just seems something lacking now. It's a shame.

This is our second visit in recent weeks. This is a friendly restaurant with a good range of food. We enjoyed our meal and shared a bottle of wine because it is in walking distance. Only feedback would be that the presentation could be better - more Instagramable - a missed promo op!

Starter was dry and disgusting could not eat it. Said oil and balsamic just came with balsamic. Did get a refund when mentioned.main was ok bit tasteless and not cooked have had a Chicago town pizza with more taste. Music in the restaurant was too loud even waitress said it was but didn’t bother turning it down. Waitress was friendly and helpful but was let down by awful overpriced food.

The Kids eat for free during times of 12-4 as stated in the advert on the Facebook page was incorrect. We have a busy and expensive holiday so thought we would take advantage of this offer only to be told it's been changed to 3-5. No apologies from the staff or reassurances this will be changed whixh was very dissapointing. Service was slow and the menu is now quite limited. There was also no polenta with featherblade of beef. The pasta option is limited to linguine or rigatoni. However when the food did arrive it was very nice we had the featherblade, chicken chorizo pasta, spaghetti bolognese and a few different pizzas. Kids loved the chocolate brownie too.

Food was very good, but the service very slow. Waited ~10 minutes before drinks orders. Waited almost 30 minutes for the starters to come. Overall they felt understaffed, and they said the kitchen was backed up, though the restaurant wasn’t particularly busy. In fairness, they did knock some £ off the bill because of the delays.

We had booked a table however when we sat down we were given menus with lots of things blanked out. I feel this should have been mentioned to us at some point because it was unclear whether these items had been removed from the menu permanently or temporarily. There were no vegetarian pasta options, only one pizza vegetarian option (cheese) and no nut roast available. When I pointed out the limited vegetarian options there was no apology or suggestion of alternatives. I asked if I could have the king prawn arrabiata no meat and they agreed. Later on in the meal a couple sat on a table near by and again highlighted the only vegetarian option and the waiter was offered a pasta option with added vegetables. This did bother me as I was not offered the same pasta dish. The food was okay and the service from staff were friendly. I used to enjoy going to Fuime many years ago but it was not a great experience.

Recenly attended Flume as we have been here before We noticed much to our disappointment that the menu has changed dramatically and alot of favourites have gone Even certain sauces which is a shame My Daughter booked months in advance For a table with menu choices as required for all We arrived at the Restaurant only to be told I and 1 other would have to order something else as they did not have my order after ordering months ahead My Daughter also wanted a sauce with her meal only to be told sorry we haven't got that When my meal and others at our table arrived it was very bland And I left most of it as did other members in our party It was such a shame as it was a favourite place to go And food used to be good Sadly I don't think we shall be returning

We celebrated our golden anniversary here with our family there was 18 of us, we have always used fuime for family celebration and often me and hubby would go for lunch and never been disappointed, however the menu has changed and not as many choices most of us found it difficult to pick something in advance food was ok but not what it used too be. Had we have had more time to find another restaurant that could have catered for 18 people we probably would have. Sadly don’t think we will be returning which is a shame.

We’ve lived nearby for considerable years and eventually decided to give it a try. Booking was easy. There were plenty of parking spaces. The menu is varied. We had bread for a starter, then pizzas and the chocolate bomb. Everything was fantastic! The service was excellent too! We’ll be back soon.

Nice enough restaurant but poor service, miserable staff and over salted, inedible food. We were given a bit of a discount because of the food but we won't be back.

Hubby and myself went for Sunday lunch and it didn't disappoint. I had Gammon, which was beautiful and tender. Hubby had roast chicken. A variety of tasty vegetables with roast and buttery mash potatoes. It was a good sized portion and well worth the price.

Been to this restraunt on numerous occasions for a family of 18 and often just me and hubby never been disappointed but tonight it was a family meal for our golden wedding anniversary it was a party of 18 we did drop off pre orders with it being a big party and although we made some mistake with the orders we were disappointed with the service we waited a long time for drinks we even asked if the drinks on the bar was ours it took quite a while to serve them our bill was just under £700 don’t think I will book another family gathering at fuime the menu has changed and not as good as it was we did enjoy our food but the service was poor.

Menu has been changed with most of the more popular pasta dishes removed. Also pasta tasted very bland. New burgers looked good, but I preferred the classic Italian menu. Will probably go elsewhere now if I fancy Italian food but consider here for a burger.

We always go here for lunch get togethers & it was always nice.. now today however the menu has changed, not so much choice & huge increase in prices. the garlic bread was lacking garlic, same with the garlic bread with tomato - tasted like tomato puree & again no garlic. the pasta dishes were all bland. The brushetta was nice & our waitress was lovely, but may have to look for new venue in future..

Staff kind enough but starters arrencini small and over cooked/deep fried main was prawn arrabiatta and sauce was poor, gloopy. Got the distinct impression nowt made fresh and the rice balls were frozen or pre cooked and sauce out of a jar. Shame nice place but need to sort the cooking side. Spoke to a friend who had been prev week who pretty much echoed sentiment. Used to be a really nice tasty place to go

We used to eat here every week, but the menu has changed and is alot smaller with very few vegetarian options - the vegetarian pizza has been removed, so there's only the boring margarita pizza, if you don't eat meat (and aren't vegan) The piccanti pizza used to be the best - it's now boring, as it only has pepperoni and chilli's on it. They seem to be cutting costs by removing pizza toppings... everything we had was beige... colourless. It's a shame, we won't be returning, they've ruined a great place to eat... no arabiatta either, they had king prawn arabiatta - which we were told we could ask for it without prawns, but would have to pay £13.95! The side salad also used to be really nice - colourful, with onions, mixed leaves, olives, tomatoes and cucumber... now it's lettuce and spinach... even the wine glasses were dirty, it's nice to have a clean glass that's been polished. Standards have slipped along with the menu. Staff were friendly and the place itself was clean, we were served quickly. It used to be really busy, but was fairly quiet for a Saturday lunchtime.

Wine choice very limited with some wines unavailable. Glasses had to be sent back lipstick issues

Myself and my husband enjoyed a meal here today.As someone who grew up in an litalian restaurant, I am hard to impress. The Food was absolutely delicious 😋 and the staff attentive and friendly. Highly recommend them.

Fuime have changed their menu. Old menu you was ok. Yes it is italian and ok now is all you want is a pizza or a pasta. Very little else. A salmon dish, chicken in a bun, a featherblade dish. Not much else. Not many people in. I understand why now. Their new menu is no good. Bring back the old menu. At least that was a bit better.

Food was good, service was ok, I had requested a quiet table for 2 as it was my husbands birthday and we were put on the back wall table in the middle of 4 other couples and 2 families of about 8, when there was a table for two in the alcove given to 2 girls who came in after us - wasn't impressed, and it was so noisy we couldn't hear each other.

Food was lovely cannot complain about it . The only thing me and my friend were gutted about is they’ve taken off two of our favourite pastas from the menu.

Used to be a fab place to go to with delicious food. Not anymore! Menu changed. Couldn’t taste garlic in any dish, was told they’ve stopped using chopped garlic and use a garlic butter instead which doesn’t have much taste. One pizza returned as very dry and hard, this was replaced. Two of the pasta dishes couldn’t be eaten as extra salty! Tomato garlic bread very dry and no taste of garlic. Bread basket, bread was dry and seemed old especially when compared to the same bread served with two of the dishes which was really nice. Lasagne was mainly tomato sauce with not much meat in it. Gamberoni starter was way over priced for the small prawns in it. Still paid full price for the bill even though we we could not eat some of the food and also some of the food was returned uneaten or had to be replaced! We have since heard that other people have not enjoyed their meal there recently too!! The only plus side was that our server was absolutely lovely and attentive.

The food was nice, however the menu has changed and is very limited. Experience was spoiled by extremely slow service even the restaurant was less than half full - young staff seemed more interested in calling their colleague a ‘cry baby grass’ rather than serving - not very professional and uncomfortable as a customer.

Meal & service absolutely spot on.

We had our wedding reception in the Acqua Bar with 40 guests. Management and staff could not of been more helpful from booking the reception to the end of the reception. They allowed us in the day before to dress the room etc and were so helpful. On arrival staff were happy to help us no matter what our requirements were. We asked for the food to be served earlier than originally planned and they bent over backwards to accommodate. Once served the food was beautiful and lots of it as well. All of our guests were so complimentary of the food. At the end of the day the manager came to see us to wish us well for our future together with a bottle of wine. Thank you Fiume for helping to make our special day even more special.

Fillet steak with peppercorn sauce is the best around!

Fab service from start to finish. Took my 3 year old for tea & she loved it. Made her own pizza then loved putting all the sweets on her ice cream.

Food is excellent, very good value and the service is first class. Bit noisy from the bar downstairs.
