2 nd time I e been and it’s absolutely freezing was with friends last time and kept my coat on not good ,and this time it was the same mentions it to staff the first time it puts you off going

Great service, friendly and helpful staff and the food was amazing!

Me and husband have visited Fiume many times for either Sunday lunch or main menu. Cannot fault today again (2 February 2025) we both had the roast chicken dinner. Piping hot, well cooked, a good variety of veg and yorkshire puddings were amazing. Honestly cannot thank Team Fiume enough ❤️

9 of us went here on Friday night (31/1/2025) this was to celebrate my oldest granddaughters 21st. The meals were good. We all had different meals. 6 had a desserts which all looked nice. They have a lift so that made it easy for me. I would go back again. Staff very polite and helpful.

Half price pizza and pasta deal in January was great

First class service as always. Fiume Calzone pizza was excellent as always. On this occasion the Chicken and Chorizo pasta dish didn't have much chicken or Chorizo in. Not sure if this was due to it being part of the 50% pizza and pasta offer running through January but my wife still enjoyed the dish. Atmosphere was great and I've never seen it so busy at that time (16.45). Thank you Fiume and hope for more of those offers as must be great for business to see it that full.

Lunch time booking for 2. We ordered 2 cocktails, 2 potato skin, 1 piccante pizza and 1 verdure pizza. All good - verdure pizza is described as Mediterranean veg pizza... more of a vegetable pizza as it has mushrooms and no egg plant (used to have egg plant and the piccante used to have peppers) but all good... fast service, enjoyed the cocktails...

Fiume was a place I would visit again and again. Food was always lovely and choice always great. I left last night a little disappointed - the staff were great and the service was the usual great standard, but a restaurant that is empty by 8:45 ? Not great. The menu has been scaled back and I felt that there wasn’t a lot of choice on there , the bruschetta had far too much tomato topping in it, no Parmesan cheese or balsamic vinegar (like it used to), I had what can only be described as a chicken parmo in a bed roll for main, the chips were great, but the chicken didn’t need to be in a burger roll, having it on its own was much nicer and the dessert was ok but pricey for what it was. I am not sure how quickly I will return I didn’t feel like it was great value.

Absolutely deplorable had takeaway, 3 pizzas 2 portions chips, £41, not cheap but wouldn't mind if it was worth the money, everything was just say warm, hardly any topping on the pizzas, . Never again

Went just before 5pm on a Monday night. Just after we sat down the lights were dimmed to the extent that the people on the next table couldn’t read the menu. When we asked for them to be on again they were briefly lighter. My chicken and chorizo pasta was tepid and bland with tough chicken. My wife’s calzone looked anaemic as if the pastry was cooked for one minute. It was also cold. The waitress said it was no problem to heat it up in the oven. When it came back it was no different other than now on a cold plate! An absolute waste of time when there are so many great restaurants to visit.

Me and my husband were at Fiume today (12th January 2025). Husband had the nut roast Sunday lunch (he isn't vegetarian but thought he would try it). He said it was nice enough but wouldn't have it again. He did say veg, yorkshire puddings and gravy were great) I went for trio of meats (beef, gammon and chicken). Absolutely delicious. Quick, friendly service. Nothing too much trouble for the lovely staff who work there. Atmosphere was spot on. Really really good. We have been before many times and will certainly be back again.

Lovely food as always! Never quite understand, when the place is empty why they sit people on the table right next to you... tables are quite close together, I'd prefer at least a table away when there's lots of empty tables! ... but great food, fast service 👌

We went for dinner with Santa, but Santa wasn’t there the whole time we ate and only appeared 15 minutes after we’d paid the bill. We’d promised the children lunch with Santa, so they spent the whole time asking where he was. Wasn’t as advertised, we got to see Santa in the end but wasn’t what we’d expected. Wouldn’t bother doing anything similar here again.

Our son was visiting , so as a treat took him for lunch his Italian food was fine, my husband and myself after being told no Sunday lunch , we opted for festive meal food was very poor, 2 sprouts on plate yes after complaining brought more , def put us off returning. Disappointed customer.

Really good food, service and a great evening at Fiumi I can certainly recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves Italian food.

My wife and I went to the restaurant for an evening meal. The waitress took our order and my wife ordered fillet steak off the main menu. The couple sitting next to us told us that they had just ordered fillet steak and been told they didn’t have any!!! Sure enough the waitress returned and confirmed this …… very disappointing as my wife had really been looking forward to it. We eventually reordered and got two OK meals but never an apology.

Kids menu wasn’t brilliant and the bread used for the sandwiches was old

Cannot rate the service or the atmosphere as it was a takeaway. The food arrived after 2 hours, it was cold, stale, tasteless and a complete rip off for what you actually get. I ordered the prawn arrabbiata, picante pizza, potato skins and the gamberoni. Everything arrived cold: For the gamberoni (£10) you get 4 small prawns covered with oily butter. In the prawn pasta (£14) you get 4 small prawns with tasteless overcooked pasta in a watery tomato sauce and no Parmesan, even though it was listed as an ingredient. The potato skins were okay but cold . The pizza was okay but cold. I would not recommend going here.

We got a table booked for half 6 ordered drinks and food straight away .. ordered potato skins and cheese garlic bread for 4 people to share .: by 7:15 we were told the chef didn’t see the garlic bread on the ticket it won’t be long, took around an hour in total for starters to come then mains came after, I wanted no Napoli sauce on my burger .. it came with it on .. the place was freezing and another table where eating with the jackets on, then all the lights went out.

Been a customer of Fiume for a number of years . The menu has been down sized and my favourite dish is still on the menu but looks like is has been tweaked it was nice but not as much as I remember off old menu the staff were great fast and friendly service beer was flat tonight also . Usually 5/5 but 4/5 tonight

Just wanted to thank Team Fiume today. Me and husband often visit for Sunday lunch. Today I chose to have pasta Fiume and Hubby had roast chicken dinner. Amazing food, quick, friendly service. Everything was spot on. Well worth a visit if you have never been.

We had the Sunday lunch "roast beef" whilst you were served with plenty of vegetables etc the meat was deplorable, it was tough, you couldn't cut it, overall a very disappointing meal I would go back but would not recommend the Sunday roast beef, it was obviously oflow quality

On arrival the waitress showed us to our table. The restaurant was very cold. We were sat under an air conditioning unit. We were all cold as the unit was blowing cold air! My husband asked the waitress if it could be turned off? She came with a very small heater which is appropriate for a small box bedroom. Other people in the restaurant were sat with outdoor coats on or wrapped around themselves. This is totally unacceptable! Waitresses have no idea what is going on. We were asked several times about drinks and food by different waitresses. My mother in law was still eating her main course and yet the waitress decided to come and take plates. Very unprofessional almost as if she wasn’t trained front of house. Not a good experience for my sons birthday

It’s was extremely cold in the room throughout my time there

very unfriendly staff and the food was very bad and they brought out expired drink and when I told them about it they just took the drink and walked off and didn’t even let me ask for a different drink, the food made me feel really sick and most of the food tasted really bad I wouldn’t wish this on my worst enemy. If I could I wouldn’t even give them 1 star

If i were able to give zero stars I would. Bad food bad atmosphere tried to explain to staff that the food wasn’t great but they didn’t care. Expired pineapple juice the lemonade tastes like dish soap. Had different type of pastas they all tasted bad not a great night whatsoever ruined my sister birthday never ever agin.👎👎👎. I advice never go there if you don’t want to spend your money on bad food‼️

Fiume cancelled 2hrs before my booking (made online a week previously) to accommodate a private event. Leaving little notice to a sort another restaurant for Sunday Lunch.

Didn't think I was going to get in, I'm a wheelchair user, my son went and asked a couple of people outside and they said if go down between the outside seating area and through the door there is a lift. Staff very accommodating. Sorry don't know about the loo situation. Food was delicious and very reasonable.

We have gone to this restaurant for many years both as a couple and a family of 18 to celebrate birthdays and Xmas we booked for our golden wedding anniversary in July sadly they changed the menu and it was to late for us to book some where else. I got a email saying they had listened to customers and changed their menu again so we thought we would give it another try, we went tonight and had prawn starter and Maltese pasta as a main although the main was tasty it was far too much pasta and I only had 6 prawns in the dish which was disappointing. I had also got an e Mail saying 20 percent off during November I did not read the small print which says it’s Monday to Friday my fault but I do think they should have made it clear from the start by saying 20 per cent off from Monday to Friday in November. I don’t think we will go back again Biddick inn which is now an Italian restraunt which is just Along from Fuime gets excellent reviews so we will be trying that and Novellos at Herrington is also very good. I am disappointed to have to give this review as we always used to enjoy Fuime

We didn’t expect that the offer of 20% off food meant that there would be 20% less meat in our food! Both the lasagne and the calzone pizza had very little meat in them. We would have rather paid the full price and had food with the correct amount of meat in. The lasagne was more like a vegetarian lasagne. Won’t be rushing back anytime soon.

Having a few nights away. We fancied italian. We found this restaurant on Google. Food was delicious, staff friendly and restaurant had a nice atmosphere.

We visited as a family for Sunday lunch, we were very impressed at the menu choices and as a family of 9 we ordered a broad range of starters and main's and each dish was very good quality and the beef Sunday lunch was served as requested with rare which was cooked to perfection. Our sever Brett was very attentive with the food and drinks and made the whole family feel welcome. Will definitely visit again.

Table was booked for 7pm and it was rather quiet for a Friday evening, service was rather quick which was good, at 9pm a member of our group tried to order a coffee and all they said was “we’ve turned the machine off”. You’d think they’d keep the coffee machine on until all guests have left.

Meal not great had risotto tasted like porridge. Staff disinterested and atmosphere what atmosphere. Piped music sounded scratchy. Been going to Fuime since it opened probably worst experience yet

I can’t really fault the staff and it has been a couple of years since we use to eat here regular but the chips were reheated and horrible, we both went for the half and half … pizza was worse than store bought and pasta was so soggy and wet. Both went for a prawn option as we expected these to be cooked fresh and ate one and knew they were reheated … sorry but not the Fiume we used to know and love!!!

It was a couple of years ago and I really liked it. This time a very little letter extensive, many dishes that they didn't have and I was disappointed in the quality, nothing like what I had tried before.

Sunday lunch arrived 25 mins late and carrot suede cold. Took back and waited a futher 12 mins before bringing back. Ask for meat to be well done, so cut it thick and grilled it. YUK. Overall a very poor deal. Will not be going back ever. Spent £40 given £4 discount. Not brilliant.

Fiumes is an excellent venue and the food is fantastic. It's the only place my party like to meet up. The lunch menu offers fantastic value for money with a good variety of dishes . Staff are polite and prompt and the environment is cozy. I highly recommend this venue.

I ordered from ubeareats as had heard good things before about this restaurant but being in a wheelchair and it's upstairs I never tried it, so order accepted after an hour it was cancelled stating too far to deliver although it's in my area and 1.5 miles besides that it comes up for delivery, after it was cancelled I looked and it's still showing order for delivery within approximately 30 minutes, from what other reviews say I can only assume they couldn't be bothered as it's raining heavily but reading reviews seems I'm lucky as sounds like it has gone downhill

The already limited menu was further depleted with about 40% of the dishes being unavailable. I hear they Are looking for a head chef. I’m not surprised

Pizza were slightly doughy and weren't overly hot. Childrens fishfinger were a little over cooked. Potato skins were lovely. We had booked for 5pm as we had children with us. Service was excellent despite the restaurant being very busy.

Not the best and rather expensive...

Despite arriving a few minutes early we were shown straight to a table and were a little disappointed that it was next to a group of old who were being loud…I was pleased after a few moments they quietened down. We quickly chose our drinks unfortunately the young server couldn’t answer our queries but that was quickly sorted and drinks ordered. When she returned unfortunately both drinks tipped landing on table and into the lap of my partner. After the initial shock she adjourned to toilet and dried off. Luckily the skirt dried quickly. We were reseated and drinks reordered. Food was good and the prawns and calamari starter particularly good. Pasta main was generous and the steak was a little fatty even for a rib eye which was a little over done. Overall the evening was a success and we appreciated the free drinks and disc for the drinks issue, which was resolved without any animosity. The server returned and apologised but as we both said accidents happen and it was resolved satisfactorily without us even asking! All in all a good night and as a last comment I hope the server is ok as she seemed nervous potentially new?

The service was terrible and they didn't have half of what was on the menu.

Quiet Thursday night but the food was delicious and the staff were very friendly. A birthday dinner with family and there was a birthday card on the table when we arrived. They even jumped in with a last minute rescue for a forgotten birthday cake. Will definitely come here again

Staff were great, very friendly. My meal was ok but risotto was very stodgy. Friends meal’s described as ok but not very hot. Burgers were good. Coffees were not the best. Not much froth and couldn’t differentiate between a latte and a cappuccino. In fairness I did not complain and overall we had a good night.

Felt that there had been a lot taken of the menu my favourite pizza was missing of the menu that the one I go there for so diapointed

The place needs a makeover and the service was very poor, the restaurant has gone well down hill.

We chose the lunch time special with each of us having a starter and main. The food was of excellent quality with decent size portions. Added to that, our waiter whose name, unfortunately, we do not have, made our visit a pleasure as he was very polite and helpful but also very funny. We definitely enjoyed our visit, which was not our first, and we will be coming back.

It's been a while since have attended Fiume and I wasn't disappointed. We are enjoyed our food and the service was spot on.

Sunday lunch on 25th August, with my husband, son and his partner. booked for 1.30, and on arriving were sent straight to our table, and realised that there wasn't many people in, which made me feel a bit nervous, as our last Sunday lunch here had not been very good! Should have gone then. We all ordered a roast dinner, 3 of of us having chicken and my son having a trio of meats. About 10 minutes later or food arrived, and we weren't offered any sauces condiments and no gravy boat. My meal was clay cold, no one came to check how the food was, so i left most of mine. The other meals were cold too! When it was cleared away, I told her my meal had been cold, and she murmured something but didn't attempt to ask me anymore about my complaint, despite seeing that my plate was hardly touched. We payed the bill and left, will never go back and no wonder there was hardly any diners in the restaurant..... Almost £75 for nothing!!

The service was spot on and the food was lovely. I was even given a birthday card which was a surprise.

Dined here on a Tuesday evening. Staff were excellent, maybe a little forgetful but that's life. Me and my partner both had pizzas and they were ok. Certainly not on par with other Italians we have been to. Nothing to really complain about. I used to dine here 20 years ago and it was my favourite Italians . Food was excellent then. Just seems something lacking now. It's a shame.

This is our second visit in recent weeks. This is a friendly restaurant with a good range of food. We enjoyed our meal and shared a bottle of wine because it is in walking distance. Only feedback would be that the presentation could be better - more Instagramable - a missed promo op!
