The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving Italian food

We just had an amazing lunch at Browns - Kingston. It was a sunny and very busy day. Me and my friend walked away from another restaurant as they could not handle the queues etc At Brown's we felt welcomed since the minute we walked in. The food was fresh, well presented and really tasty. The staff went above and beyond to serve us in a timely manner and they were all very professional. We really had an amazing time. 4 star because the manager (blond lady) was quite abrupt, however all the other members of the staff made up for it. We will definitely come back again.

Our waitress Gabby was amazing. Really friendly and lighthearted made our dinner experience really lovely. Food was delicious and fairly priced. Service is relatively fast.

Ate here the other day as i was craving Bruschetta. Got it and it was lovely!! Service was also really good, very friendly, credits to Anthony (i think, tall man) who made my lunch time lovely.

Had a lovely visit today, was after peak lunch so there was a nice relaxed pace to the place though the food came out quickly and nice and hot. Had the lamb and a beef dish. Both were nice and very filing. Alex was our server and she was attentive and efficient.

I visited this Tony Macaroni location in Glasgow and was extremely disappointed. One of the waitresses (a blonde woman) was shockingly rude and unprofessional. I’ve rarely experienced such disrespectful behaviour from staff. Instead of creating a welcoming atmosphere, she seemed irritated and acted with hostility throughout our visit. It completely ruined the experience. I will not be returning and cannot recommend this place.

lasagne was vile, like some ready meal stander aka a cheap one infact asda do a language that cost £5 thats alot nicer, yeah cheesecake was nice but thats ordered in bulk, and the salad well no-one can mess up a salad

I ordered the Tagliatelle Bolognese, and it was nothing short of exquisite — rich, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. My son enjoyed a classic Margherita Pizza, which he devoured with delight. The flavors were authentic and truly transported us straight to Italy! The atmosphere of the restaurant was warm, inviting, and perfectly cozy — an ideal setting for both families and romantic dinners alike. But what truly made our visit memorable was the exceptional service. Our waiter was incredibly attentive, making sure we had everything we needed without being intrusive. He was especially wonderful with my 5-year-old son, engaging with him kindly and ensuring he felt special. It’s rare to find such genuine care and attentiveness. Overall, Spaghetti House exceeded our expectations in every way. We’ll definitely be returning soon and highly recommend it to anyone craving authentic Italian cuisine in a welcoming atmosphere!
