Great food, Joanna our waitress did an amazing job looking after us, it was great experience, definitely will be back !

We had an excellent family meal for my husband’s birthday. All the food was flawless, especially as we are a vegan family. There was so much choice! Gabriela was the most attentive and delightful hostess.

Only 3 waiters and a busy restaurant. Waited very long time for food to be served. Can't knock the food but service rubbish. Don't blame the staff. All down to management.

I was impressed with Rumali's timley, efficient service and the genuine friendly smile on her face while she was serving our table and others sitting next to us... Special thanks to her.

Visited Zizzi Sutton on Saturday and would definitely come back. Our server Leona was great, very friendly and attentive, food was delicious especially casa pollo picante and pesto rosso.I would highly recommend. I just want to say a big thank to Leona for making us feel so special and I hope next time we will come back she will serve us again.

Rumali was a lovely server and very helpful, didn't rush us and laughed with us. Food was good, service quick. Only downside was a couple of items we wanted were not available.

The staff in Sutton zizzi was amazing! Even down to the small details of bringing out my nieces birthday cake they added a bit of glitter and icing sugar to make it look even more fancy. The manager especially made my niece's birthday very special so thank you! Highly recommend zizis for a meal out.

We used to visit here a lot but felt due to service that it had gone downhill. Decided to revisit after a while and it was disappointing. Thursday lunchtime so not busy. Was told straight away that there would be no pizzas as they had a problem with the oven. Well that's half the menu gone but something out of their control. Drink and food order taken straight away but we waited a while for our drinks. No pasta crisps either. Only 2 staff but luckily not too many delivery orders to deal with which we feel this restaurant focuses on too much with limited staff. Starters arrived and then mains quite quickly afterwards. Staff were friendly but 2 staff is clearly not enough for this branch and we won't be returning for a while. Shame really.

Fantastic. It was my first time going to Zizzi. Service was super. The service was so amazing I went to get each persons names. Special mentions to Jennifer, Gabriela, Rumali for friendly, fast, excellent service. Also to Malika for the fast bar service amazing. And Gabo and the rest of the kitchen for working so hard and swift on a busy night. Absolutely amazing service. Thank you Zizzi

We had a wonderful date night at Zizzi! Gabriela gave us excellent service which we were very grateful for. Despite it being a Monday night, the restaurant was packed and there were only 3 servers, so we were super impressed with how kind and attentive Gabriela was! The Sticky Pig pizza, Arancini and Honeycomb Cheesecakes were the best parts of our meal! The 3 courses for £26.95 felt like a good deal considering how tasty and filling everything was.

Must have come on a bad night OMG faulty towers would have better service - long waits for cold food- server who could not use a corkscrew - no dessert available cause the chef had gone AWAL really !! What a tatty dump made worse by being asked if we wanted to pay for dessert anyway !!

I can’t directly reply to Mark, the most recent reviewer, but I have a lot to say in contrast. Every customer could tell how busy and understaffed Zizzi was yesterday, but I have not seen any other reviews about it except his. Maybe because they’re mature enough to not spend their Wednesday night complaining over something menial, or they had the decency to understand the stress the staff were under and weren’t so entitled to think they were the most important customers there. Almost every table was filled last night; that server had multiple other tables to tend to and probably didn’t have the time to be fussing over a corkscrew when I assume you had no trouble using it yourself, and the kitchen staff had a lot to handle and needed a well deserved break for a few minutes. Spend a day working in hospitality on a busy night and then reconsider your review. Personally, despite how busy it was, my girlfriend and I had a nice time there, and thoroughly enjoyed our food. Massive thanks to Rumali and Chloe (I hope I’ve remembered their names correctly) for making sure we were okay throughout our visit. Hopefully the next time we come to Zizzi, it’s a lot less busy, or has more than 3 front of house!

Amazing food! We had a prawns for a starter and new waygu pizza for main, both delicious! Finished with honeycomb cheesecake which is dye for! Friendly staff, quick service.

Popped in on a Friday early evening, able to get a table straight away. Waitress gave us enough time to decide what we wanted & quickly arrived with our drinks. Food came out relatively quick & hot. For the price the pizza was enormous, my daughter thoroughly enjoyed it. Normally with pepperoni there is quite a bit of grease/oil but this was perfect. My chicken skewer was just right, meat was lovely & tender. Didn't have dessert as we were so full!

The initial welcoming was warm, we were seated quite quickly and asked about allergens etc. however, it then took 15 minutes to order, and then a further 45 minutes for our starters to come out. From our seat, we could also see that one of our starters (the prawn skewer) had been sat on the pass for around 30-35 minutes. We had to get up and ask the manager what was happening, to which he responded ‘they’re heating it up’, no apology. When the starters came out, the prawns were cold. I sent the prawns back and asked for the mains to come out asap as we were hungry. All during this we had no interactions with the servers, they did not come over to see how we were, or to offer further drinks etc. when the mains came out, my friends starter had not been cleared (breads and tomato so he kept it to eat). We didn’t receive a check back until later on during our meal. By the time we had finished our mains we had been there for almost 2 hours. We did not finish the 3 course set meal due to time. No good will gesture was offered, only a sorry. All throughout the service we could hear glasses and plates being smashed by multiple servers. Crazy service cycle.

Delicious and tasty pizza at Zizzi sutton. Good service with food ready very quickly. Ask for chilli oil and balsamic glaze to add extra flavour to your pizza!

I recently visited this restaurant and was thoroughly impressed! The variety of delicious and unique dishes on the menu is truly remarkable. Pizzas were so disapointing, very dry and hardly any sauce or cheese. I have actually given up eating it as its so boring and not nice at all. Cold Loaded chips where tiny (especially for the price!) And the 'bomb' had hardly any cheese at all.

I visited Zizzi’s today after many years & also because there was a £5 offer for their classic pizza option from Three network. My experience at Zizzi’s wasn’t great at all. I felt the service was too slow and the food was extremely mediocre. We ordered 2 classic magherita pizzas, garlic bread, chips and 2 mojitos. The garlic bread was shockingly bad and it tasted like the frozen garlic bread I get from my local Tesco’s. The pizza’s lacked taste & it felt like I was just eating cheese on bread, barely any magherita sauce present. And oh God, the mojitos were not mojitos at all. We were basically presented with soft diluted drinks, like squash if anything. Overall, I wasn’t impressed at all by anything we ordered and it’s very unlikely I will be visiting Zizzi’s again. Menu is very overpriced and does not reflect the quality of the food & drinks given. I think Zizzi’s need to go back to the drawing room..

Understaffed so you’re made to wait for extended period - our pizza arrived after 30 mins of placing order and it was cold. While the service staff is friendly and wanting to accommodate, the restaurant’s service is a major shortfall. No meat sauce on spaghetti (take away order - bottom of container had plain spaghetti. Pasta with chicken ….. but where’s the chicken!? Food is mediocre at best.

Starters took over an hour to come, wasn't even busy. Food was cold! Wrong food was given to us and they didn't care less so just ate it anyway to just not cause a fuss. When asked to order via app hoping it would be quicker the lady said no so I proceeded to ask again to which she did. (?) makes no sense to me. Don't provide a service if you're not willing to let customers use it without grief! The mains then took an extra hour to arrive! To the point my boyfriend had to leave me at the table to move his car as the parking in Morrisons would expire. And when he returned there was STILL no food at the table. It took THAT long. Won't be returning. Awful experience.

really bad missing half the items and wrong food

It was honestly the worst food experience I have ever had. To spend near £100 and then to have to wait an hour for starters and then another hour for the main just to receive cold food and the wrong things. When I asked for a recipe to check what i ordered they said they can’t provide one. Honestly it was a bloody disgrace. I will never eat here again let alone recommend it. Do better Zizzi

The "Pizza Rustica" is delicious. To be honest it's really hard to find something like this in Italy these days. Well done guys. But the main thing is the staff: they are very welcoming and friendly even when you arrive late. In particular I want to mention Gina and Rumali that make me feel like i'm home. I want also to spend a deserved word for Alfi, he is always willing to spend a few words with clients and making the experience nicer.

Tonight was not a good night. The restaurant was busy and 2 staff to take orders, serve and clean tables and take bill payments. The kitchen, again I could only see 2 staff, was overwhelmed with orders. There were long waits to order drinks, and main meal. And even though the drinks and food were delicious, we ordered dessert, but waited 30mins, our server, Gabriel, was marvellous, but in the end, we cancelled the desert, just paid and left. Not our usual great experience.

Food and service is very good! Rustica pizza is very tasty. The atmosphere in the restaurant is great because the staff is very nice...and expecially Alfie, Gina and Rumali are very welcoming!

Family of 4, waited a bit but worth it. My noodles with the prawns special were a bit undercooked but overall delicious. My 10 yr old ate all her spaghetti, she enjoyed her meal.

We went for a birthday celebration and it wasn't too busy but we waited a long time for our mains. When they did arrive the vegan lasagne was burnt bad enough that it tasted burnt throughout. They replaced it with just a sorry! But looking over at the coom he was saying no way when it was returned! Everything else was fine, cooked as it should be and tasty. Cocktails were very good.

Chicken was tough and rubbery! Very disappointing.

Had a dismal carbonara with three skinny pieces of bacon. Pasta was not freshly made, clearly been standing for sometime. For an Italian restaurant that's shocking, it takes 11 min to make paste from scratch. The staff where very friendly and helpful, but the food was dismal.

We haven't been in Zizzi for a while and will not go back there anytime soon. In every aspect they went down. Calzone was burnt on the top, we've been waiting long for our food. Dessert was nice - salted caramel brownie, but the size of the portion was smaller than a while ago. Service was ok, just ok. They included a 12,5% service charge without asking us, and we paid before we realised. Not fair. It's not US that we have to pay for the service because the owner doesn't want to. Also, it's cash free local which I don't like, because we should have a choice. Then I would avoid being forced to pay a 12.50% tip.

Was very expensive and though the pizza was large, the base was so thin and not enough toppings.

The food quality and quantity of this place has fallen down too fast and too bad. All the food we ordered was almost cold. The Bruscheta was hard and had dried tomatoes like rubber. The Ravioli was undercooked and the filling was cold and the pasta was hard like it was from a pack. The risotto had no flavor and it was like a mush. The drinks were just ice cubes not much flavour

Our server Rumali was amazing. It was a birthday lunch, and she made every question and query about the menu effortless. Without us requesting, she bought my daughters dessert out with a candle which was the icing on the cake for us and helped us use all the freebies/discount codes at the end. We loved her whole auora and professional manner. She gave the restaurant the 5 stars and all with a beaming smile.

We had a beautiful meal, it was well presented and beautifully cooked,the only small criticism is the food was not very hot once we were served it. Not a bad price even though a little more than l would normally spend but it was a treat.

i would like to thank the person who prepared and cooked my calzone carne piccante as it was the best ive had in a long time...perfect amount of chicken, sauce and meatballs.....also thank the delivery driver as he kept my pizza box the right way up, and not on its side which usually results in a broken and squashed calzone with sauce all over the box. its was delicious and hot so thankyou

I had booked a table for 6 of us to celebrate my birthday. I booked the table for 9pm on a Saturday evening. When we arrived the restaurant was not very busy. We ordered our drinks which came up pretty quick then we ordered our starters. All my friends got their starters except me I waited for a while then the waitress came over and said that the chef had burnt my starter but if I still wanted it , it would take about 10 minutes to cook another one by this time all my friends had finished their’s so I said I would just have some garlic bread. When it came to the main meal 3 out of the 6 of us got their meals , the other 3 of us were kept waiting for quite some time . Eventually my other 2 friends received their meal which came out luke warm and got sent back to the kitchen Then I finally received my meal which also came out luke warm and that to got sent back to the kitchen also. I called over the manager to complain and she was very apologetic and offered to give us a discount of our bill and also offered us all a limoncello shot each. We then got our main meals which were lovely and hot. By this time it was getting near 11pm so we ordered our deserts and they were fine thankfully. We were sorting out the bill and arranging our Ubers when a Radom woman came in from off the street and plonked herself at our table and she was eating a greasy kebab and kept asking the manager for a bottle of wine which the manger said no too and was asking her to leave but she would not then she started to finish off our drinks that were still on the table.The whole experience was a total sham and due to our experience which totally ruined my birthday we will never return to Zizzi Sutton as we feel that there was no excuse for this catalogue of errors.

The food was excellent as usual, but the lunchtime service was so slow that it spoiled the whole experience. Please get your act together on this.

Avoid, Avoid, Avoid Some of the slowest service ever in a practically empty restaurant, servers were nice and friendly though when they turned up. Used to be good food but now probably would never go back again, Calamari is not proper calamari it's cheap and tasteless and not even calamari rings cheap its worse, really disappointing and a waste of money, their caramelised garlic bread which used to be a favourite is now hard and crispy with the smallest amount of cheese and caramelised onion they could get away with, I had the signature beef and chianti ragu, this was basically tough chewy pasta with pretty much zero beef beef brisket or sauce, baring in mind I asked the waitress at the beginning is this a meaty dish to be told "there's loads of meat it's like the loads of mince you would get in a spaghetti" it was highly disappointing to almost look like a vegetarian dish of just plain pasta which had been lightly brushed with the smallest amount of sauce, its a 3rd of the portion size you see in their advertised photo with none of the toppings in it. The only reason I haven't really slammed the food is that my partners dish was OK, and she enjoyed it, although again on the small side. The fact that when we left, we went nandoes for a takeaway after as we were both still hungry despite being under 10st tells you how lacklustre this place has become.

It was ok. Calm, professional service. But the food wasnt up to par from previous viaits. The chorizo carbonara felt like it had been reheated, and quite claggy. With lots of good independent restaurants in the area also serving kids menu, Zizzis and other similar chains will need to step up to compete.

Service was amazing, such lovely warm and friendly faces and service. Food was perfect and came out hot as it should be. Couldn’t fault anything about my visit. In fact it’s now going to be a regular visit as it was perfect in every way. Well done Gina and your colleagues, great girls made the evening perfect 🤩

One of the worst pizzas I've ever head. Uncooked and chips were cold

Waited 45 mins for 2 pasta dishes, they came and both was lukewarm. It was 3 in the afternoon and there was only 2 other people in the restaurant so there is no reason why it should have taken so long. The spaghetti was extremely bland as well. You’d think for £17 a dish it would be something special…Won’t be returning.

Post-film dinner, seated promptly and service was ok throughout. I had the main of salad (winter salad) plus chicken which was wonderful and would definitely order again. Bf had the fresh carbonara which he enjoyed. Sorbet was good and I had a scoop of the mascarpone and berry ice-cream too, all very nice. Overall the spacing of the restaurant could have been nicer, felt a bit bunched together, but overall enjoyable. I don't understand the comments about the bad service, they were a bit rushed off their feet but we never felt forgotten or unattended to.

Lovely atmosphere. Given a table early for mother's day. Staff prompt to take orders despite busy day. Few minuses such as chicken oily and undercooked and waitress gave food to hand rather than on the table. Once admonished service upgraded to VIP. Highly recommend the mozzarella garlic bread and carbonara. The carbonara pasta was made in restaurant, cooked al dente and presentation was flawless. Top marks to the chef and all staff for improvements. Would come again. 8/10.

The food was decent. Very small portion compared to the other zizzi. Customer service was TERRIBLE. There were 3 women, behind the bar who kept talking. I waited 15 mins for them to come over each time I had to order something, and get the bill. TERRIBLE

Both my husband and I agree that this is the worst Zizzi restaurant we have ever been. We love Zizzi and we visited many Zizzi in London because of the good standard of food and services. Horrible service: it’s a quiet Thursday evening. three female waiters just chat at the bar or next to the machine. even after they saw us waving to them twice they still just chat and didn’t come. We thought it was just an odd moment but this happened later when we wanted to get our drink, when we wanted to get the ice cream, when we wanted to pay the bill and get the takeaway boxes. Speechless. We ordered a drink at the beginning but didn’t come until we almost finished the main. When the drink arrived the ice mostly melted. The waiter gave our kid a basket of crayons for drawing. Zizzi’s crayons are refilled in the plastic pen which is clean and neat. But tonight none of the crayon pens (7 of them) had crayon in it. This was such minor point but it’s a sign of bad service as no one routinely checks if the crayons need refills. Really really disappointing service. The pasta also tasted a bit different from other zizzi restaurants we tried before. (Compared with Kingston and Chiswick, Tottenham Court Road and high Wycombe ones). We didn’t like the pastas but maybe the pizzas would be ok. We even considered to make a complaint while when we were in the restaurant but as the service is just so slow and bad we didn’t want to waste more time there. Won’t come again.

if you want cold food this is the best place to order, there is no respect for the drivers who are there to collect the orders, the delivery takes a long time, it is unfortunate
