Food was really good. I didn't expect the pizza I had to be as nice as it was!! Will definitely be going back!!

Gina was an excellent host and thoroughly enjoyed her service. Highly recommend her and commend her for her high quality output and first rate customer service

The food was excellent as usual, but the lunchtime service was so slow that it spoiled the whole experience. Please get your act together on this.

Avoid, Avoid, Avoid Some of the slowest service ever in a practically empty restaurant, servers were nice and friendly though when they turned up. Used to be good food but now probably would never go back again, Calamari is not proper calamari it's cheap and tasteless and not even calamari rings cheap its worse, really disappointing and a waste of money, their caramelised garlic bread which used to be a favourite is now hard and crispy with the smallest amount of cheese and caramelised onion they could get away with, I had the signature beef and chianti ragu, this was basically tough chewy pasta with pretty much zero beef beef brisket or sauce, baring in mind I asked the waitress at the beginning is this a meaty dish to be told "there's loads of meat it's like the loads of mince you would get in a spaghetti" it was highly disappointing to almost look like a vegetarian dish of just plain pasta which had been lightly brushed with the smallest amount of sauce, its a 3rd of the portion size you see in their advertised photo with none of the toppings in it. The only reason I haven't really slammed the food is that my partners dish was OK, and she enjoyed it, although again on the small side. The fact that when we left, we went nandoes for a takeaway after as we were both still hungry despite being under 10st tells you how lacklustre this place has become.

Service was amazing, such lovely warm and friendly faces and service. Food was perfect and came out hot as it should be. Couldn’t fault anything about my visit. In fact it’s now going to be a regular visit as it was perfect in every way. Well done Gina and your colleagues, great girls made the evening perfect 🤩

Nice food great service . But £25 for a bottle of white wine is far to expensive

Waited 45 mins for 2 pasta dishes, they came and both was lukewarm. It was 3 in the afternoon and there was only 2 other people in the restaurant so there is no reason why it should have taken so long. The spaghetti was extremely bland as well. You’d think for £17 a dish it would be something special…Won’t be returning.

Keep coming back for great food and service

Lovely atmosphere. Given a table early for mother's day. Staff prompt to take orders despite busy day. Few minuses such as chicken oily and undercooked and waitress gave food to hand rather than on the table. Once admonished service upgraded to VIP. Highly recommend the mozzarella garlic bread and carbonara. The carbonara pasta was made in restaurant, cooked al dente and presentation was flawless. Top marks to the chef and all staff for improvements. Would come again. 8/10.

The food was decent. Very small portion compared to the other zizzi. Customer service was TERRIBLE. There were 3 women, behind the bar who kept talking. I waited 15 mins for them to come over each time I had to order something, and get the bill. TERRIBLE

Both my husband and I agree that this is the worst Zizzi restaurant we have ever been. We love Zizzi and we visited many Zizzi in London because of the good standard of food and services. Horrible service: it’s a quiet Thursday evening. three female waiters just chat at the bar or next to the machine. even after they saw us waving to them twice they still just chat and didn’t come. We thought it was just an odd moment but this happened later when we wanted to get our drink, when we wanted to get the ice cream, when we wanted to pay the bill and get the takeaway boxes. Speechless. We ordered a drink at the beginning but didn’t come until we almost finished the main. When the drink arrived the ice mostly melted. The waiter gave our kid a basket of crayons for drawing. Zizzi’s crayons are refilled in the plastic pen which is clean and neat. But tonight none of the crayon pens (7 of them) had crayon in it. This was such minor point but it’s a sign of bad service as no one routinely checks if the crayons need refills. Really really disappointing service. The pasta also tasted a bit different from other zizzi restaurants we tried before. (Compared with Kingston and Chiswick, Tottenham Court Road and high Wycombe ones). We didn’t like the pastas but maybe the pizzas would be ok. We even considered to make a complaint while when we were in the restaurant but as the service is just so slow and bad we didn’t want to waste more time there. Won’t come again.

if you want cold food this is the best place to order, there is no respect for the drivers who are there to collect the orders, the delivery takes a long time, it is unfortunate

Tasteless lasagne, no green beans/spinach despite its appearance on the menu, no mustard of any description and no draught beer. Also, shuffled between tables halfway through meal. Needless to say I won't be returning. Poor service.

Used to come here often using my Tastecard - We always left at least 15% cash as a tip - £5 to £10 - one evening we went and when we got the bill the server (Who had many a cash tip from us) was very happy to tell us that our tastecard did not apply to the meal we had (instead of telling us this when we ordered) -We have not been since ! and if we do come here again we def wont leave any tip!

My friends and I had dinner and a couple of drinks on a quite busy Sunday early evening. The staff are so very kind and helpful, but unfortunately the service is quite slow due to there not being enough of them. The food was tasty.

The “Milanese” was horrible for the price asked ! Definitely they not been to Milan, they get it from Iceland and they sell it for 17£ ???! I am not surprised they don’t show pictures. Staff never smiled one’s.

I’m usually a big fan of Zizzi’s. I’ve been a regular customer for many years. But this time I feel the quality of food has gone down hill. The pizza I got was bland and lacked flavour. Some of the olives weren’t pitted and very little cheese. For the price you pay you expect better than this.

Jolie restaurant avec une belle carte et de très bon plat ! Seul petit problème : nous avons commandé 3 cocktails avec alcool et 1 sans alcool, et impossible de savoir quel verre était sans alcool. Le prix des cocktails avec alcool sont deux fois plus cher, ce qui est normal, mais nous n’avons aucun goût d’alcool.

This restaurant is always busy, ppl are always queuing at the front door. The quality is fair, I like the garlic bread particularly. It’s not like normal garlic bread, it’s juicy and soft. I would say it’s like pizza. I think it’s the best dishes in the restaurant. For the REAL pizza surprisingly is not as good as garlic bread. If u r interested in pizza, I advise you to order 2 garlic bread!

Last night before heading to back home to scotland and wanted to try this place for ages! Soo glad I did, the food was outstanding.. the service was brilliant we had Laura I think her name was. She was soo kind and brilliant.. Atmosphere was good! Definitely would come back here❤️

Came here for nye hoping for a nice evening with partner, however are night was completely rushed. Was not given much time to look through menu it was our first visit. Waitress stood there whilst we were trying to read it making us feel on edge to order quick. Starters arrived wernt great and whilst eating them are mains arrived and got placed on a table next to us then the waitress dragged the table over to us. Mushroom starter was awful and made the bread soggy and the pasta dish was very dry so had to ask for extre sauce which took a while. Didnt want to cause a fuss at time as it was our nye meal together. When takin a break outside the waitress opened a window to say our drinks were here-almost a hint to make us feel to come in quick and drink them. Bill was placed on table without asking for it. I work in hospitality myself and have worked all through xmas but thats my job. You not make guests feel like there holding u up. We were so upset on how the night went it ruined it for us. The whole evening was bad. Bad food, rushed service. Never again!

I go there with my daughter as she likes some of the starters. Last time I went they had run out of all the starters we wanted to order. Then we both visited the toilet (before asking for the bill) and wen we came back our drinks had been collected. Both glasses has about 1/4-1/3 left. Funny enough they didn't collect the empty dish. The restaurant has half empty so they were not in a harry to clear the table. We left thirsty and upset. Zizzi if you don't have starters and your service is s... hit or miss then you are nothing more than an expensive pizza take away. Next time I want pizza I will just order from some other take away, you are no longer an option.

We had such a lovely experience for our night out as a couple. Food was delicious and the service from Rumali was excellent. 10/10 would go again.

Went here with my new partner for our first meal out. The service and food was absolutely amazing. Would definitely recommend.

We were all exceptionally impressed with the vast set Christmas menu options. Every single one of us in our relatively large group enjoyed the meal. The staff were professional. My only gripe is that we were not informed that the restaurant is cashless until we went to pay at the end.

Ordered via uber eats, the king Prawn linguine was tasteless, there was little sauce, no salt, no spice. Normally the quality of food is good, but this was the worst pasta dish I've ever had.

Went for a dinner with 2 new mates - lovely food and a huge selection! I had the Romano pizza with marscapone on sooo tasty! Rather loud in zizzis think it’s because it’s a large open area with big tables so if you’re a little hard of hearing / don’t like loud places this isn’t the restaurant!

Usually Zizzi is good, 4/5 minimum. But on this occasion it was a bit.... Meh. When the food is bad from a restaurant, you're angry. When it's good, your happy. But when it's a bit meh ... I think this is worse, I'd rather the food be terrible or good then I know whether I'll go back or not. Now I'm in limbo because I really like Zizzi food. We're a family of four, we had starters and mains and I benefitted from Tesco discount so the bill was £80, otherwise it would have been £112. For Sutton!??! The food was tasty but tepid at best. I get there's a cost of living crisis but the portion sizes were on the small side, so paying £112 for that night, I'd have given 2/5. The service was good, warm friendly and polite. Very helpful as moved us from a boring table to a nice both table. But... So short staffed that's why the food arrived tepid, just miss managed of food delivery. Pizza was tasty but the base was thin and crispy almost cracker like, not pleasant. Toppings saved it. Pork loin blend, quite disappointing, if it's not better then my home cooking then what an I paying for? The creamy seafood pasta main and chicken chilli pasta mains were good. Starters criminally small portions, £15 for a "large" calamari, but it's still quite small. Overall the nice staff and discount helped not put me off from going ever again but if I do go, I'll be using a bigger discount and ordering pasta mains.

Went to zizzis 2 December 2023. And admittedly it was very cold outside. But inside the restaurant was freezing 🥶. We, along with another couple had to move tables twice due to the coldness in the restaurant. It was ridiculous. And when we complained to management about the coldness of the restaurant, the manager said that the lack of heat in the restaurant had already been flagged to management. This is a truly awful restaurant. Stay way.

What a treasure to find this place. Food was beyond amazing and delicious. Wow. Service was very quick and efficient. Staff very friendly and helpful. Would recommend this place to anyone.

Ordered food through Uber eats, everything was cold (thanks chef airfryer) and my drink was missing,also it's a flatbread with barely any ingredients rather than pizza , definitely do not recommend as a delivery option

Lovely meal at Zizzi’s. I have visited before, although this is going back a few years. I forgot how many good options there are on the menu, so it was a nice dilemma to have when picking out a three course meal. Staff were friendly and they were really accommodating with special requests which we made. On this occasion I had the King Prawn Spiedini starter which I thought was delicious, it came with a choice of garlic sauce or seafood sauce, but the marinade on the prawns was good enough for me so didn’t use the sauce. For main I had the King Prawn Linguine which again was very good and had a nice chilli kick to it. To finish off, I had the Tiramisu which did not disappoint. I got the impression upon tasting that it was homemade due to how moist it was, but to my surprise it wasn’t, so wherever they get their tiramisu from, I think it is very high quality. Thoroughly enjoyed the meal and will definitely return as the food and service was great.

me and my friend went in because we were hungry and we saw the advertisement outside of the restaurant that stated that when you sign up to the zizzi app, you will get free food (a side not a main). the waitress that served us was not very pleasant and her attitude made us feel unwelcome. Despite that, we decided that we will still sit down and get our free food. Before we sat down we made sure to ask the woman if this “offer” was still available. She took us to a free table and gave us menus. The woman asked us what main we wanted and we said that we just wanted the free garlic bread. The woman came back to us and served us a jug of water and complimentary crisps. She then came back with our free food. We absolutely devoured it. (it was so bussin please get the garlic bread). As we went to the checkout to scan our barcode, a different waitress told us that we had to buy a main in order for the coupon to work. Bear in mind, me and my friend had no money on us whatsoever, we made sure beforehand that the coupon was working. The woman started showing us main meals we can buy because she wouldn’t let us leave the restaurant without purchasing a main course. The price are outrageous! However the food is good quality. Our parents were at work and were very busy, and we had to interrupt their hard dedicated working time to call them and ask them to transfer £11.50 for a margarita pizza! ridiculous! The original waitress came over and stated that she “forgot” to mention that you have to buy a main course in order to get the free food. Before we entered, we made sure to check on the coupon that there were no terms and conditions for us ti get free food. The woman showed absolutely no remorse for her lack of communication and didn’t even apologise for creating this mishap. When we first told her that we weren’t looking for a main meal, the waitress did not say anything and just walked off, although she should have told us that we had to purchase a meal in order to get the free food. Please do not fall for the zillionaire free club! we are absolutely appalled with this service and the situation. The rest distant itself was lovely and so was the food, but the service we received was absolutely MONSTROUS.

I recently dined at Zizzi Sutton restaurant and had the pleasure of trying their fresh pasta carbonara truffle with pancetta. The dish was absolutely delicious, with a fantastic blend of flavors. However, my dining experience was somewhat marred by a noisy group of 6 patrons at a nearby table who were exceptionally loud, yelling, and laughing loudly throughout our meal. Thankfully, the staff was accommodating and promptly moved us to a quieter section of the restaurant upon our request. Overall, great food and excellent service, but the noise level was a drawback.

Not bad, actually! Friday night was packed, bit of a wait for the food and the calamari and the pizza not to its highest value for the money. Sara ( our waitress) was super lovely!

It's a franchise. Pricey for what it is but my family all cleared their plates but, £80 to feed a family of four a single course with only two drinks (2 of us drink water), for ready to roll food just took the joy out of it. Friendly staff and a clean restaurant weren't enough to make up for it.

I went to the restaurant with my children for the first time and will not be returning. The services was below standard, we waited an 50 minutes for the starter, then another 40 minutes for the main. The only item food that came is adequate timing was the dessert. It was such a Shame as we were so excited to try zizzi, however the excitement died due to poor service. I would be more understanding if the restaurant was super busy, however this was not the case. We saw other people served before us and to top it off the food was bland, lacked seasoning and nothing to write home about. I hope you find this review helpful as a tip for improving your restaurant and make amends.

Zizzi's Zillionare program, advertised with a bold "Today" offer, promised a 25% discount from x to y of September. However, my recent visit turned into an unpleasant experience. Despite presenting the advertisement, the waitress, senior waitress, and manager (Grik-Greek) made us wait for nearly 30 minutes, only to dismiss my request, insisting it was my responsibility to read their terms and conditions. This encounter left a sour taste, as Zizzi's marketing material appeared misleading, and the manager's attitude was utterly unacceptable, even going so far as to accuse me of dishonesty, turning what should have been a delightful lunch into a frustrating ordeal.

We have visited this restaurant many times and as usual the initial greeting from the staff and atmosphere is great, friendly, professional service from a young woman who took the time to make sure my son was happy. Regretfully the food did not measure up, what was once fresh, tasty Italian food has become tasteless, bland and unpleasant. My pizza was akin to eating paper, no flavour at all. My wife had meatballs which were overcooked and had clearly been microwaved before service. My son had one bite of his pizza and pushed it away. The waitress was apologetic but clearly used to hearing the same complaints, she suggested we contact "head office". Cannot recommend, would not return.

We didn't have a booking but we were quickly given a good table. The staff were quick and friendly. Our order was taken and we received our drins and food in good time. I was impressed with the staff's attitude as it is busy with families, couples and groups, theye are obviously under pressure to provide a good service...they did for us. This is a busy, noisy spot and not somewhere to go for a romantic evening.

Good place for group lunches or dinners

thia place is full of unprofessional saff and also no enough staff so i will recommend never visit this place or order anything online through uber eat deliveroo or just eat etc i saw delivery guys waiting outside for their orders more than half and hour and getting insulted by the staff and food was well below average 0 out of 10 upto you if you still wana go good luck

Not a big Zizzi fan but everyone else wanted to go there. It was OK. Odd that they don't have bigger glasses than half pint.

Only came here because Pizza Express was full. Overpriced boring meal with zero atmosphere and depressing service. Everytime I go to Zizzi I regret it.

Not one of the best Zizzi's I have been to. Service needs polishing up with a little more attention to detail, like providing a kids menu when you are sitting there with children and speaking so fast in an accent so was hard to understand most of the time. Food not up to scratch like other Zizzi's, had the king prawn linguine which tasted OK but the pasta was overdone and had 5 definitely not king prawns and definitely not fresh...hard as bullets. Other dishes were OK. Man server lent over behind my young son with his knee on the seat, to grate cheese on the dish for the person sitting next to him. No idea why he couldnt just lean over the table for this. Most annoying thing was they didn't accept cash, so make sure you have your card on you. Won't be going back to this particular Zizzi's.

Brilliant pizzas and pasta dishes

Pretty poor. Service was abysmal. Orders taken wrong, food brought out at random times, warm beers, ages waited when asking for basic things like water and the dessert order. You don't expect much at Zizzis but I don't think they did a single thing well.

On first experience the waitress that met us and seated us was friendly and funny, I was hopeful for a good experience. That’s where it ended. We waited over ten minutes being duely ignored by the staff who were standing around doing nothing. I finally figured I could order on an app so downloaded it and just as I placed the order a waiter came to take the order. The restaurant became very busy and other customers so rude and disrespectful, I know it’s not the restaurants fault but it just worsened the experience. The food was average and the service very slow. Can’t recommend it and don’t plan to return.

Visiting my brother & he booked Zizzi for a meal at 1830. I had calamari and then chicken & fiery roquito pizza rustica for the main. The calamari was a generous portion . The pizza rustica lacked toppings in my opinion. A few pieces of chicken and some peppers but in general it was sparse. It made it dry and as it was a very thin base it was snapping rather than cutting. The atmosphere was nice and all of the staff were really pleasant but Adrian, our server was absolutely lovely and so friendly, welcoming & helpful. A credit to Zizzi. I would definitely return & would recommend it to others.

Terrible experience… again. Food took a while to come. My kid was left waiting for longer than us and it was just a little pizza from the kids menu. The tomato sauce used was spicy so my kid couldn’t eat it. Not sure if we are unlucky but it’s the 3rd time we have a bad experience when it’s not really busy and there is plenty of staff, so this time I’m leaving a review. In our last visit my lasagna was served half frozen.

But my search for the ultimate Italian dining experience ended when I visited Zizzi. The pasta dishes were simply divine, with a variety of flavours and textures that tantalized my taste buds. Every bite was a delight, and I found myself savouring each morsel. But what truly stood out were the pizzas. Thin-crust, wood-fired and loaded with fresh ingredients, they were nothing short of outstanding. The cheese was gooey and flavorful, the toppings were generous, and the crust was crispy and chewy at the same time. Each slice was a masterpiece, and I couldn't help but order another round. The service was impeccable, with attentive staff who catered to our every need. The ambience was cosy and inviting, with warm lighting and comfortable seating that made us feel right at home. Overall, this Italian restaurant is the epitome of what Italian dining should be. With its exceptional pasta dishes and outstanding pizzas, it truly is the best Italian restaurant in town. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to savour the taste of authentic Italian cuisine

Everyone enjoyed their meal, there were five of us, appart from myself, my pasta dish was way too hot, I wasn't expecting so much chilli , could not eat it, complained was offered something else but chose not to as it would take too long as most of my party had finished their meal. Wasn't offered a refund for the main course, perhaps Ishould have been? Disappointed given that it was mother's day. Otherwise service etc ok

It’s a shame the level of service is going from bad to worse. Good takes ages and even if you ask for your pasta crisps they don’t arrive. Poor service, not really a place we look forward coming to anymore
