Pizza Express in Sutton

Food is amazing and absolutely love it. Specially chef julio make it upon your request. Staff the manager Eddie and Michaela fantastic but hey must mention that there is one guy tall and bold ridiculous rude I have complained before about his behaviour but no action has been taken against him and he is still working here. If he is working there when we go for meal my grandson really gets upset and stay unhappy all day long. Sutton London pizza express is nice but apart from this man I would definitely would love to go but I can’t have this guy working here anymore. Hope management can take some action.

I came to have a dinner at PizzaExpress Sutton with my friend last night for my birthday. Managers Albert and Eddy made sure I felt special by delivering the best service ever!

One of best food/pizzas I’ve ever had

I was just eat order 584308197, I really hope the management sees this review. One of your workers answered the phone to me when I had an inquiry and also packed my order. She was literally so lovely- the food is already delicious but having someone so lovely and kind answer the phone really made this service 5 stars! I hope you commend her for her amazing work because never in my life have I been so impressed by service like this.

Well, the dishes at Pizza Express are not really great. The pizza tastes great, but the crust is soft. The lasagna itself is reasonable, but the dish is not quite as warm. The edges are bloody hot, in the middle lukewarm. But paying £1 extra for two small slices of lime for the soda is also a way to make money (oh yes, you can't find this anywhere on the menu or it's certainly not communicated). But also in the children's menu, the dessert, the brownie is frozen and the fresh strawberry on it is missing (it is on the menu). All in all, not a good memory of Pizza Express Sutton. Just skip this thing.

We had a lovely evening. Food was served promptly as we told our waiter Aberto that we had a booked the cinema. Tried the new honeycomb desert which was delicious.

Rubbish manager. We, a couple, we're turned away at 9:04pm. Unacceptable when the restaurant closes at 10pm and there was a table of people eating.

It was a lovely afternoon and we decided to eat at this place. Budget friendly, chilled and relaxed! Greeted by a friendly smile by a lovely waitress. We were sat by the window as requested. Our waitress explained about the food and asked if we had any allergies. I said I was allergic to expensive food 🤣. She really took her time when taking our orders as we were quite indecisive. Wow, we didn't have to wait long for the food. She served then while warning us to be cautious with hot plates and she even sliced the pizzas for us. Thank you, lady! Definitely a 5 stars experience. We will deffo come back!!

I had an incredibly disappointing experience at Pizza Express in Sutton. The quality of the food was shockingly poor – my pizza arrived lukewarm, the base was soggy, and the toppings were sparse and clearly not fresh. It tasted like it had been sitting out for far too long. The dough balls, usually a safe bet, were dry and bland. To make matters worse, the customer service was appalling. Staff seemed disinterested, unapproachable, and more focused on chatting with each other than attending to customers. We waited far too long to be seated despite multiple empty tables, and getting anyone’s attention for basic service felt like an uphill battle. When we voiced our concerns, we were met with indifference and a dismissive attitude. Overall, the entire experience was a letdown and not worth the price. I won’t be returning and would not recommend this location to anyone.

Sylvia was amazing today with exemplary service. So kind and helpful with my nephews today. Had a lovely meal out. All the staff are good, food was lovely too. But Sylvia made the evening very enjoyable.

Pizza was cold when it arrived. It also wasn't spicy chicken (as in seasoned chicken), but rather plain chicken with chillies on the pizza (not necessarily an issue, just not what I was expecting). Cheesy garlic bread was nice.

Despite arriving early, the food was cold, had to reheat in the oven. It is a shame because the pizza base and flavours are great. The cheaper pizza takeaways always have pipping hot pizzas. Disappointing.

Last night, I had an absolutely wonderful dining experience at Pizza Express! We were a large party, and despite the potential challenges, the service and food were exceptional. The waiter attending to us was simply fabulous—he was remarkably helpful, patient, and attentive to every detail. Our entire group felt very welcomed and well-taken care of throughout the meal. The food was another highlight; each dish was delicious, and our choice of dishes left us extremely pleased. We will undoubtedly be returning soon for another delightful evening at Pizza Express.
