Unpleasant food I wouldn't go back again I think it's the worst place I've been to eat abroad it really sucks the setting I have nothing except for the hole behind the bathroom door, staff nosy towards others the pasta was overcooked and it was moored in a sea of ​​tomatoes that weren't tomatoes anyway, I wouldn't advise anyone to go here

I was there for work reasons; Italian restaurant in the heart of London with excellent service, quality and well-cooked products. To be recommended.

As an Italian, I have to say that despite being in London the food wasn't that bad. The service, especially with Nada (we assume she is the owner) was really welcoming and attentive, as she was very understanding towards us, almost the same towards the waiters. The environment is very simple and clean. (We wanted to thank Nada for being so understanding towards us)

I had a lunch here on Saturday, lovely an attentive staff, vegetarian and vegan friendly. One of the best Italian restaurant on Leceister square. Very nice service and good atmosphere.

I decided to come here after the invitation from a lady in front of the store. The food was delicious, and even though London is expensive for Japanese people, it was reasonably priced and I was satisfied. The three dishes, including the pasta, were perfect for two people to share.

Lovely. The food was very good, we got big portions. The atmosphere was nice and the servers were friendly and made us feel welcome.

So the venue is nice, modern and looks good. Staff were all helpful when you caught their attention. Out of the four Italians in this street that we’ve tried this is probably the best. I just could not get excited about the food. Is quantity over quality here. Portions were large.

Heureusement que je ne lis jamais les avis avant sinon je ne serais jamais allée dîner ici ce soir ! Delà très bon accueil et un service irréprochable, nous avons eu un serveur aux petits soins merci. Les pizzas étaient très bien cuites, une pâte maison de qualité, rien n'est resté dans l'assiette, enfin le vin rouge maison conseillé par le serveur parfait, il ne nous a pas poussé à la consommation d'un vin cher et en plus nous avons eu droit à un limoncello en digestif. Le seul bémol, nous étions au sous-sol et il y faisait froid et l'odeur des toilettes à côté quelque peu gênante. Je recommande ce restaurant italien. Merci.

Romantic, warm and very welcoming staff. The margherita pizza was delightful. The spaghetti alla Bolognese was fresh, light, and perfectly flavoured. Also, don’t forget the bruschetta because it was something out of this world! I confirm that this is authentic Italian cuisine in the heart of London.

Cibo: zuppa di cozze con abbondante burro (la cucina italiana è altro); formaggio e pere con due fettine sottili di pera e un pezzo di buon formaggio non pecorino su una grossa fetta di pane. Servizio: dimenticano il nostro tavolo e ci portano solo l'acqua, poi si accorgono dell'errore e ci servono il cibo (un'ora più tardi); anche il conto era sbagliato e abbiamo perso un altro quarto d'ora per uscire.

Food was great and service was fast despite being full to capacity!

The restaurant was great! I don't know why people are being so harsh. The place was packed but the staff was kind and we were seated in no time. The waitress who was serving us was really nice. The menu sounded delicious. There was even a kids' menu where you get a scoop of ice cream and a drink with each dish you order. The food was served immediately hot and yummy and not only was it tasty but the portion was pretty big- even from the kids' menu! The prices were reasonable for an Italian restaurant in the centre of London. The restaurant looked pretty but it was really full so we were very close to other tables which made it a little hard to move. That wasn't that big of a problem though plus it wasn't their fault! There was a free wi-fi! Overall we had a great meal!

Food was great and the service was exceptional despite how busy it got. There were lots of options to choose from in the menu. Blanka was our waitress and gave us good recommendations which we loved. We will definitely be visiting again soon!

Couldn't tell you if the food was any good. Didn't get what I ordered and took them about 15-20 minutes to come back. Wife was done eating by then, so we had to get mine removed from the Bill. We were also charged for a drink we didn't get. Not sure what is going on there, but I won't be back.

My experience at this restaurant was less than pleasant. To begin with, we were sitting at our table for less than 3 minutes and 2 different waiters came to ask us if we were ready to order. We started to order drinks and one of us ordered water thinking it was tap water but the waiter brought us still water bottles. We didn’t request this specifically and told the waiter we just want tap water and won’t be drinking it - she quickly gave us a lecture about how to order water at a restaurant, which proves she has poor problem skills and no customer service experience. We told her we didn’t even open the still water bottles and she was forcing us to take it and pay for them. We denied too. My friend and I ordered a pizza d’nduja and they brought us a pizza with mushrooms and ham. We quickly said “that is not the pizza we ordered” and the waiter said to the server who brought them - it is that one they ordered but they just want more sausage. The waiter was condescending and tried to lecture us on our chosen pizza. There was a complete lack of attention to the detail in the customer service we received and poor communication skills amongst the servers. To make matters worse, they ended up charging us for the still water bottles we didn’t even drink or touch. They took ages to bring our bill and we saw how they treated others better than us. I have never had such a bad experience at a restaurant before. If there was an option to give 0 stars I would. The only good thing about this restaurant was the lovely Italian gentleman server who was so kind and kept checking In on us when the original lecturer/waitress completely ditched us. Do better!!

They had us seated on the patio in under 5 minutes, with no prior reservation, on a busy Saturday night. Food was quite nice and servers were very helpful.

First of all the staff weren’t very welcoming and i had food poisoning because of the bolognaise which really ruined my trip.

Two stars because the staff were nice, fast and accommodating, the place was warm and it was nicely decorated. Three stars because: The restaurant had no ventilation and the air was hazy with smoke from the kitchens The music was incredibly loud but also constantly slipping and cutting out, as if the music was being played on a Bluetooth connection from a mobile phone that was in someone's pocket. The food was absolutely sub par if you know anything about Italian food. If you're paying for brucetta and it is literally just some tomatoes dumped on a pizza base, or tagliatelle which should be full of fresh ingredients and it's clearly used pre packed pasta and frozen spinach... You may as well just make it at home. Certainly wouldn't recommend in a hurry.

Food was ok but we had to ask for a little time in between courses otherwise we would have been finishing our meal in under an hour. The restaurant wasn't busy so we are unsure of the reason why the kitchen doesn't look after the customers in a more relaxed manner. New staff were obviously being trained up so we had to repeat some of our order twice but staff were friendly. The toilets are downstairs and there is no accessible toilet,the stairs to the toilets are very narrow and steep so no facilities for wheelchair users and guests with limited mobility. Reason given for the lack of facilities was the age the building but there would be sufficient space on entry level to create a accessible toilet which of course is required to be available by law under the DDA act. We unfortunately can't recommend this restaurant for the reasons outlined.

Worst experience I've ever had, steak was taken out straight from freezer, outside burnt, inside was cold, i have asked them to cook more and they bring back full of fat, they just fried the steak! Never ever, as i am steak lover having 3-4 times a week, this was the bad experience i ever had in my life!!!

My husband and I had a meal in L'ulivo , Leicester Sqaure on Friday evening . We both the enjoyed the experience very much , from Mohamned's welcome to the charming and efficient staff . I had the Set Menu and my husband chose from the A La Carte menu and both of us had a superb meal.. Would definitely recommend !

Incredible food, all five of us had different food options and we all found the food incredible. The staff were all attentive and brilliant and couldn’t do enough for us! We would highly recommend this amazing restaurant.

Very poor quality of food and completely incompetent, slow and clueless waiters that create an impression they were hired on the day. Pizza was barely edible with cheese undercooked, pasta dishes resembled an attempt of a 7 year old at cooking at home. I realise that they benefit from the fantastic always busy location and can afford to not care about the food or services much but you don't have to be a victim of this after all so avoid if you can.

Visited this hidden gem on our last day for a lunch. We had the Calamari as an appetizer along with the Peach Bellinis. I had the Fantasia Penne Pasta with grilled chicken and oven roasted tomatoes and a light, mild sauce. My wife had a pasta dish with salmon that she loved. The portions are large and the service was excellent.

Il locale da subito una ottima impressione, perché curato in ogni sua parte. Il personale e giovane, professionale, educato è sempre sorridente. Il cibo veramente eccellente, abbiamo mangiato carne alla griglia, gustosissima, e poi le pizze veramente molto buone….Che dire, oltre al fatto che tornerò sicuramente, lo consiglio vivamente a tutti per passare una bella serata e poter mangiare veramente bene.

Place looked a lot more welcoming and secure than the other Italian restaurant competitors on the same street, and less like a fast food joint, tho prices were similar and reasonable. This was a very late lunch at around 4pm on a Friday. Sat outside, but a couple of tables back from the people traffic. Meet & greet lady at the front was knowledgeable about what was on offer without having to refer to a supervisor, was professional and polite, and easily convinced me to eat there - with me having never been to this street before. Food was excellent if only a single course and a beer. Wait staff not hovering all the time, but sufficiently aware to glance in my direction occasionally. A place to return to next time I'm at a loose end in London.

average food & service and not cheap. Lets start by saying it was not busy ! Starters were ok, my main (Rigatoni) was extremely oily (swimming) but on plus side had lots of Sausage in it. My wife took Pizza which again was ok, but not great. Service was strange, after 1st course table was cleared (all cutlery) and we were brought the dessert menu ?!? Main did then arrive shortly followed by new cutlery. Ordered a brandy which didn't arrive until we caught attention of manager / owner? Coffees ordered again arrived very slowly. We had 4 different staff serve us which almost certainly contributed to the disjointed service Cost for location was as expected, its not going to be cheap in this area, but a bit disappointed by the experience overall.
