Jantamos em outros restaurantes italianos em Londres, e neste, a massa vem com bastante molho, e vc vê o preparo com pedacinhos de cebola, tomate e salsa, tornando a massa bastante saborosa. Pedimos o tagliatele com salmão, e veio saboroso do início ao fim. A entrada foi um pão com alho e queijo, e berinjela com molho de tomate. Perfeitos. Preço justo para Londres, e muito bem feito!!!!

Check your bills, guys! I noticed I was charged for a more expensive starter on the bill so I raised this with the old guy who did the payment thing. Instead of apologising, he turned very upset. After he corrected the bill and I paid, he literally thrown the receipt onto the table and walked away. He probably is the manager or the owner, I wonder why he’s so upset when I found out I was over charged. I wonder why he didn’t at least had the courtesy of saying “I’m sorry, I got the bill wrong”. And I wonder why people are always over charged rather than under charged.

What a delightful restaurant! Authentic Italian food, great ambiance, quick service, hot food cooked to perfection! I most would recommend this place to all! Must visit!

I visited la ballerina for my birthday party. The food was great and there was a really nice atmosphere with classical music playing in the background. Great food and polite staff.

Really enjoyed our meal here. We ordered a mix of pizzas and pasta and couldn’t fault any of the dishes and rather enjoyed our one too many Aperol Spritzes! Staff were super friendly and the Italian waiter made us laugh with a few stories of his time in Italy. Will be back.

We always forget about this brilliant restaurant which is crazy, but always eat there when passing. Much better than the two chain pizza places nearby. It’s a rather elegant looking restaurant but very children friendly and has a kids menu. The pizza is always great but we’ve had exceptional pasta dishes here too. The staff are super friendly and attentive and the prices are reasonable for such a prime location. The decor is lovely too. Highly recommended! Five out of five.

Super enjoyed our experience here - food was great, we ordered the Balerina Pizza and the prawn pasta. Their drinks are fantastic tooC i ordered 2 mojitos and they were prepared and mixed so well. On top of that, the people are nice and warm - they were really proactive and kind, going out of their way to accommodate us. Definitely recommend this place!

A hidden gem and the best place for Italian food in Covent Garden! We stumbled across La Ballerina while walking around the area looking for somewhere to eat and thought we would give it a go. This was several years ago and we've been back many times since. The food is all freshly cooked and homemade, catering for various diets and offers gluten-free options. Everything is reasonably priced for the area, the atmosphere is always lovely and the staff are friendly and helpful.

We went on a Saturday night by reading some of good reviews. I was conscious about negative reviews as well but ignored as I believe supporting independent restaurants. Unfortunately I had a very bad experience. Food was average and service was the worst. Staff was more into gossips rather than paying attention to the customers. Very disappointed

Had an early meal here before a show in the West End. Very convenient, able to book a table and so good in that respect. Food was fine, average, but fine. Nice atmosphere. An Italian restaurant with an Indian undercurrent. Average was the word we used to describe it.

Hidden Gem of Covent Garden THE best authentic Italian cuisine around! Everything is fresh and reasonably priced. Stumbled upon this place 2-years ago by accident, and every time myself and my partner visit the city, this is the go to. Fantastic restaurant!

I visited La ballerina last week and had a vegeterian pizza ,pasta and side of garlic bread with melonzania which was delicious ,service was fast , all the staff were friendly.Good place to have lunch and dinner.

Dinner was fine - lovely restaurant with lots of photos to look at and great service - but the food could be better and hotter.

Don't come to London often, but this place is a must visit! Fairly priced for the area and perfect for an evening of theatre afterwards! Cannot recommend enough, food is amazing and lovely staff.

As an Italian I can say this is not real italian food. It was not good.

The food was just okay, nothing special. The coke was completely overpriced, almost 4 pounds for ONE CUP of coke without gas (and that was not even written on the menu, who would thought that was the price for a cup of coke, insane).

This was one of the worst italian places Ive ever been to. The food had no flavour at all and overpriced. The risotto was undercooked and the chicken was uneatable.

Sometimes the places which look and feel a bit tired end up serving you great food, but this was not the case here. I don't want to be unduly harsh but of the two meals, one had a stodgy lump of pasta in and tasted bland, and the other, mine, contained a piece of wire, which I at first mistook for a salmon bone in my mouth. The server was apologetic when I pointed it out, and my meal was then taken off the bill, but the excuse of them having had a busy day shouldn't really be valid.

Thoroughly enjoyed our meal tonight, dinner of the pre show menu could not fault. We both had the prawn cocktail and then crumbed chicken breast with pasta, tomato dressing over pasta beautiful. Thank you

If you have any allergies please be clear to the waiter about them because they include items that are not listed on the menu. I ordered a bruschetta. I did not mention I have a pine nut allergy as there was no mention of pesto. However, one mouthful in and I could tell that there was pesto in the tomato and onion mix. This could have proved very dangerous due to my allergy had I eaten this. They told me I should have told them I cannot eat Pesto, however there was NO mention of pesto on the menu or list of items making up the bruschetta on the menu. They should take more care in drawing people's attention to potential allergens in my opinion. The pollo milanese was nice. However the menu states that all main courses will be served with two vegetables, and it came with just broccoli. Very average experience.

Excellent food and excellent service! I went in before and after the opera :) I even enjoyed the Tiramisu very much, and I usually don't even like Tiramisu like that

Really disappointed. Unfortunately my chicken pasta was really bland, the cream sauce had no taste to it, nothing special about it. The garlic bread was really nice however. Was asked if we wanted to see a desert menu which was never given to us. We asked for the bill and they had put a service charge on our bill and we asked politely for them to take it off as all we had was 2 drinks, 2 pastas and a side dish and didn't really feel like this deserved a tip when they couldn't wait to get us in and out. When we did ask for the service charge to be taken off, the staff got a bit rude with us. Wouldn't go back and wouldn't recommend.

Amazing experience here. We had two children under 10. The lady waitress was faultless, every though my nephew was very fussy with his food choice, her memory outstanding. The food came out fresh clean and tasted amazing. Would highly recommend

The dining room seems a bit sober and the tables are a bit too close together for my taste. But the food is really good and the price is more than reasonable. The service is professional friendly. I'd love to come back.

Excellent food and wine. Been looking all day for a good italian and this was perfect. Had seafood and pizza, would highly recommend. They also had a chefs starter special ‘calamari papa’ - beautiful. The tiramisu dessert was homemade and to die for!

Seafood pescatore is really really good!! If you love seafood or tomato sauce pasta, then you should definitely go. And atmosphere is also great.

We were in a rush before the theatre but wanted to sit down and eat before heading out. We found La Ballerina tucked out of the way on our way to the Ambassadors Theatre and thought we’d give it a go. The prices are SO GOOD for what you get. Big portions and excellent quality. Staff are lovely, the atmosphere is quiet with low lighting. This might have just become our favourite pre-theatre restaurant in CG!

Got a table easily, service was quick and efficient. I ordered lasagna and partner ordered something else. My food was meh, pasta on the verge of being over cooked and flavour of the sauce was missing its zing. Wish I had ordered the carbonara.

Handy Italian. Not sure that I rate the food and wine though it is acceptable. But the prices are at the restaurant were relatively cheap for central London.

We turned up without a reservation and it was extremely busy! But within a few minutes they had us seated and a drink in hand. We had pasta and gnocchi and the portions were huge! We couldn’t finish them. Attentive service despite how incredibly busy they were. Food was great, fresh, hot and tasty! Would def recommend!

We had tickets for The Nutcracker on a Saturday evening. The fairly small restaurant was crowded, with tables quite close together, but we didn't mind because the noise level wasn't high: we could hold a conversation across our table! In fact the general "buzz" was rather pleasant. The food was excellent, and moderately priced for London, with an ample choice of dishes. The servers were attentive and friendly in spite of being extremely busy. The speed of service was good so were were out in plenty of time to get to the performance. Definitely recommended-- popular, so reservations are probably essential at most times.

Food poisoned, food was served very fast not sure if it was freshly made. All family got Diarrhea. Do not go here! Also tiny portions and very expensive!

Delicious food,we ordered Meat lasagna, the salmon linguine,the aurora aubergine and the tomatoes and artichoke salad, everything was superb, specially the aubergine, it was so so good,we will be back 100%, the only thing we were disappointed with was the coffee, really bad,but really good good and amazing service too.

We turned up without a reservation, and they managed to fit us in as a table of 6. Asma was our server, and she was absolutely fantastic. It was a great service, very informative of the menu. Could not have asked for a better server. Asma you are a star.

We eat at the restaurant this evening. All restaurants in the area were fully booked and rather standoffish when we asked for a table, not so at The Ballerina. Great friendly service, lovely food, (one of the party was Italian and the other had lived there for many years), a gem of a restaurant worth remembering. Thank you.

'La Ballerina' is such a gem of a restaurant that I almost hesitate to review it for fear that it will be discovered by others! It's fantastic: family run and cosy, with great food and a brilliant location. I am a regular here and they always go above and beyond to make me and my guests feel welcome. Last week one of my guests - a rather small fellow - was suddenly taken unwell with embarrassing results, but instead of any sort of drama, there was only goodwill from the owners, which saved me and my guest a massive amount of face. I hugely appreciated it. I feel I have friends here, and I hope to come for many more years to come. Francis

First time visit to this restaurant and we loved the place. Has a family owned and welcoming feel to the place. Food was high quality authentic and a good price for central London. Would definitely return.
