Firstly we have eaten all over the world trust me we know great good! It’s been about 20 years since I’ve enjoyed a delicious meal at a restaurant this place was unbelievable!! This restaurant is one of Londons best kept secrets!!! I did not expect the food to be this good my husband had to drag me there I was dubious tbh - the starter was unbelievable, the mains off the hook and dessert beautiful! The wine delicious and smooth, it’s a gorgeous venue sexy glam feels like you’re in NYC! Or a sexy Mafia film - Great prices for the quality, I had pasta it was perfect! My husband had pizza he said it was so good he has never eaten a pizza so fast! We are going back this weekend!!! Great service a great find! So happy we only live a 7 minute walk away! No idea what the bad reviews are about!!? - This beats any expensive pizzeria/ Italian restaurant in central London! You have to try it! DISGUSTING FOOD SAFETY PRACTISE. Waiter had pizza cardboard on the floor whilst folding it in to pizza boxes. We mentioned it to a waitress who apologised, thanked us for spotting it told she would have made a note fir the management. A blond lady at the reception overheard the conversation and picked the cardboard off the floor only to put it on top of the pizza plates by the oven!!! HOW DISGUSTING!! Once I queried on why she had done this she had the arrogance to lie to our faces telling us that the plates, in spite of being clean as they had just been brought out by the porter, they were there to be taken back to kitchen and that the whole pile of pizza boxes were not destined to customers but they were folding them to bin them. At this stage we were so disgusted by POOR HYGIENE that we decided to leave without eating the food that had just come out of a kitchen webdid no longer trust for food safety. This blond lady had the arrogance to keep on denying ZERO FOOD SAFETY, kept on lying to us as if we were a couple if idiots and charged in spite of us not eating the food. I hope the management have the decency to check the cameras and get rid of the filthy operators that discredit the establishment. We for sure WILL NEVER RETURN as London has better and above all SAFER alternatives managed by people who really care about the health of their customers. My only regret is I have not taken pictures to send to Food Standards Agency.

Nice and welcoming place. Large variety of pizzas on offer. The margherita pizza is very good. Friendly and professional staff!

My friend visited this restaurant and they mistakenly charged her twice. She went back the next day and showed the bank statement and asked for a refund. They asked for a receipt but she only had the one (why would she have two, if they told her the first transaction didn't go through, which is why she used her card again). She went in to ask for the manager the next day, only to be told they were not working - even though the same staff member told her they would be in that day. The attitude of the staff was unfriendly and rude. She left and does not want to go back to face people who are not willing to help, even in the slightest. This is unacceptable. If no one contacts me within the next 24 hours, we will be reporting this to the police. This is theft and fraud. She has already reported it to her bank, and they are currently investigating.

Do not understand the negative reviews. This place is exceptional. So much flavour. Lovely dough. Went to Naples and couldn’t get into the original given the queues. But very happy with the London branch. Best Italian pizza in the UK I’ve had.

They pass themselves off as a Neapolitan pizzeria and restaurant but they first change bad name. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone to go eat either for lunch or in the evening, maybe only the desserts are good

The pizzas are lovely, no complaints there. I just don’t like the service, waiters are very pushy in trying to make you order extras, this was very uncomfortable. Make sure to check your bill properly too as extras do present themselves on there!

Today I went to this restaurant because I wanted to have a nice Italian pizza. I ordered a Calzone. The waiters are not particularly friendly and very anxious if you are not ready to order and then go. When I got the pizza, it was completely flat and empty inside without tomato sauce in top, like in any other Italian restaurant. At the end, when the waiter brought the bill, I told him that the pizza was terrible and he said, smiling, that I have to pay it anyway.

SCAM! Wish we'd looked at other reviews first. We were met with a cold welcome, lots of trying to trick us into ordering extras, didn't seem very happy when we just wanted a soft drink each and tap water. When we got the bill, the waiter didn't show us the actual bill and put the card machine out for the amount. Did the classic thing of feeling uncomfortable but wanted to be polite so just paid it, after which he only offered us the card receipt and took the bill away without ever letting us look at it. When we thought about the amount it seemed expensive and we couldn't work out why so asked to look at the itemised bill upon leaving and saw that the truffle chips £4.50 then had "shaved truffle" added for an additional £6!! We had not asked for this and the menu also makes no mention of it next to the truffle fries (see pic). This made the chips alone £10.50 plus service so about £12. Can see a lot of replies on here from them saying feedback helps them do better but clearly they're not trying to do anything better and are continuing to trick people into paying the absolute maximum / adding items that aren't asked for onto the bill. Very strange experience and put a real downer on what was a rare evening out.

Really enjoyed my experience here. Having recently been to the original one in Naples (about 3hrs before I had to fly home), I had the ‘takeout’ version in those lovely boxes and sat on some steps…so we had a chance to sit down and enjoy properly. Friendly welcome, always nice to see the chefs behind the panel hard at work. It was pretty busy so acknowledged that waiters wouldn’t be super fast getting to us. Food was lovely.. calamari, pizzas, zucchini fries, all arrived at well spaced times. Drinks made well, excellent Aperol Spritz… also they had the traditional Peroni bottles which was nice to see! Toilets are downstairs so wasn’t sure if anyone who can’t use stairs had an accessible bathroom… however will look into it next time. They have additional seating downstairs and the bar is a beautiful focal point (as is many parts of the ground floor with thoughtful decor). There were some larger groups of guests and also with children. They all seemed to be having a great time, so would recommend for those with well-behaved children (as seating plan means conversations can travel)… can’t wait to come back. Grazie mille !!

What a damn scam. The pizza is made with verrrrrry low quality ingredients. The mozarella is chewy and the tomato sauce bland. The dough didnt even seem fully cooked. The prices are just delusional, i feel stupid for paying instead of spitting on my plate and leaving - 25 pounds for a terrible pizza and a pretty nasty beer they upsold me on. The service is also a joke, all they do is ask “do you wanna get this extra/premium version instead” and then spend their shift insulting each other and sharing “guidance” with colleagues in a very rude way, which guests should never see. In conclusion, just judging the food and level of service, i can say no one should ever bring themselves as low as eating at this pathetic excuse for a money laundering operation.

didn't expect what I found. the food was avarage, the service terrible. the waiter got the order wrong even though it had been repeated several times. for the starters we had to ask for dishes which never arrived. only bottled water, there was no tap water. they charged us for extra things and once asked to remove them they were arrogant in doing so.

This was a horrible experience. From the minute we walked in we were met with a cold welcome and just pointed to our table. Then felt pressured to order quickly and the waiter double checked our order only to get it wrong. They then proceeded to make us feel that we had requested the wrong item, and made it seem like an effort to go get us what we had correctly requested in the first place. They then charged us for the incorrect item and when asked to remove along with the service charge, were extremely unhappy and stormed off. To spite us, added on an unnecessary 50p for the pizza takeaway box. This was not at all what we expected and mediocre food was let down by terrible service from waiters. Would not recommend at all.

Honestly, I don't understand the negative reviews on here. My wife and I showed up late on a Monday evening and everything was fantastic. People working here were super nice, the pizza makers were exceptionally nice, and the food was great. The pizza was served classic Neopolitan style with great crust and thin middle, it was delicious. We just happened to be walking by after a concert and decided to check it out, glad we did. It was quiet and not a lot of people in here. I would definitely eat here again. Maybe you get out of the world what you put into it. Patience, understanding, and humility go a long way. These guys are working hard and we had a very relaxed and wonderful dining experience.
