We have been to Apulia before and we went again this evening. It is consistently good it seems. Food was quick to arrive. Delicious and plenty of it. Great truffle pizza. Orecchiette con cime di rapa was incredible again and the fennel salad refreshing. A feast! When visiting my brother in London we will always come to that restaurant now for good food. Lovely people too. Thank you guys! From the jet lagged couple who cleaned their plates 🙏🏼

This is a great Latin fusion place that has amazing Argentine empanadas and a unique tres leches desert that are both highly recommended. The smaller place is lively and well hosted by the chef and his wife. My only knock is on the dinning room that is a little too bright and a bar that is impossible to sit at. Overall a nice find in the heart of London.

The food was decent but it took over an hour to get our food while we asked around 5 times for it. Tables around us were served eaten and out before we got our mains.

Almorzamos con un grupo de 12 amigos después de un recorrido por las renovaciones del Hospital Barts. El ambiente y el servicio era excelente. El lugar estaba lleno un lunes a la hora del almuerzo, pero el servicio era muy eficiente, y las opciones de comida y vino eran perfectas. Todos teníamos platos diferentes y todos cayeron muy bien. La casa blanca Vermentino también era fresco y afrutado, judt derecho para el almuerzo. Bien hecho Apulia.

While in London for a reunion I had dinner for 1 on my own. Food and service so professional and knowledgeable. Perfect. So when my friends wanted a farewell lunch with 24 hrs notice on a Sunday, I tried this place. Well it couldn't have been better. The waitress was brilliant we could get in no problem, clear communication, confirmed booking discussed sitting time, setting and numbers so helpful and knew how to take a large group photo! Orders were correct delicious all drinks wine, not one complaint! If you have a large group last minute this the place is for you. Great food great service 👍

Excelente comida y un entorno encantador. Son muy serviciales. Mi hija pidió accidentalmente una pizza con anchoas. Fue culpa nuestra pero no hay problema lo cambiaron por otra pizza no hay problema. Es un placer comer aquí y si vas a la barbacana para un concierto o teatro es brillante para una comida antes del evento.

A lovely Italian with generous sized portions served promptly. Ideal for a pre-show supper for the Barbican.

I booked a table for 6.30pm and was being asked to leave at 7.30 as another party was waiting. At no point during the booking, upon arrival or during the meal were we told we would be asked to leave in an hour. The waiting staff passive aggressively hurried us along the whole time making the experience rushed and uncomfortable. An hour slot for dinner is extremely tight and should be made very obvious when booking. Very disappointed - ruined a nice evening with close friends from abroad. We should not have paid the service charge but the card machine was being brandished before we could even look at the bill so we reluctantly paid and left to the sight of more customers waiting for our table because we had not been able to finish within our allotted hour.

A lovely restaurant in the heart of Farringdon.

This is my friend and my place to meet for dinner. We've been coming here since 2019. The pasta was good but I think it used to be better to be honest. The portions are massive. The wine is delicious and we love their dessert wine.

Lunchtime visit to Apulia with friends.Restaurant was busy, but service was still good. Delicious Focaccia to start, which was still warm from the oven when served. Main course “Trani White Pizza” with mushrooms, sausage and grana padano cheese. Pizzas are huge with a thin crust.Home made Tiramisu for dessert. If you’re looking for good quality Italian food which is not over pretentious, then head to Apulia

Cosy little Italian restaurant serving a range of dishes from Southern Italy. We came here for a Christmas lunch. Food was good but not wow, service was a bit slow as it was busy, food and menu was authentic. Focaccia was amazing, carpaccio was good, burrata was ok, pizzas were meh, pasta was ok. I was not mind blown by the dishes so not sure I would be dying to come back.

A lovely and quiet Italian place just off Smithfield Market. The service was very attentive and quick. The margarita pizza was good, though not outstanding. However, I'd consider going back for seconds!

My Company arrange a Christmas party. I have ordered pizza. I thought mat be Italian pizza good, but very cheap based Pizza. Really disappointed. I will never visit again. The Pizza is not better then local chicken shop in my area.

Authentic Italian cuisine near the meat market. Wonderful place to stop for lunch while site seeing in the neighborhood. Easy to share, generous portions, tasty food and reasonable prices. It can get busy so a reservation is helpful but they will try and squeeze you in.

El restaurante era muy acogedor incluso para un paseo - en un grupo de 4 . El servicio fue atento, respetuoso y también amable. El menú italiano es flexible con platos de pizza a precios muy razonables y pasta / otros artículos a precios moderados de Londres. Hay una carta de vinos bastante extensa con una buena gama de tintos y blancos italianos. Hay una variada selección de postres. La comida que pedimos era de muy buena calidad, servida con prontitud y un problema específico de alergia se tomó muy en serio. Todo el ambiente nos recordó unas vacaciones italianas muy agradables tomadas este verano con un nivel genuino de servicio que deja huella.

La decoración era agradablemente étnico aunque un poco lleno. Opciones para mesas pequeñas y grandes. Muy buen servicio y a un precio muy razonable para Londres. Bajo Lstg 50 todo para dos platos y una copa de vino agradable. Buenos holgazanes. Sin embargo, el nivel de ruido era inaceptable en términos de poder mantener una conversación. Eso dañó la gran noche. Sin embargo, si uno va a cenar solo con sus pensamientos, o en una noche tranquila...

It’s been a very long time since I had a real complaint about a restaurant. Ordered a seafood dish for £21 with anchovies in it which ended up being one very small anchovy! Most of the dish was carrot tops and it basically tasted like a side dish. Mentioned it to them and they said it was only meant to have one, which it clearly wasn’t as it lists “salted anchovies” as a main ingredient. Ripping off their customers, no apology, nothing reflected in the bill either.

Fire but burrata being 14 for a small amount of food was not ideal

Good atmosphere for after work drinks or a meal, our meal was tasty and came nice and quickly.

We had a nice dinner here, staff was friendly and attentive. We enjoyed the buratta, pizza, and the ice cream cake.

Delicious above average Italian food with friendly and attentive service. No loud music so we were able to enjoy conversation. Lovely decor and atmosphere. Recommend this restaurant 100%.

Lovely food, excellent service and convivial atmosphere

We had 8 of us during a busy part of the evening hence why it was a bit noisy, but everything else was perfect - the table, food, drink, service, ambience. Highly recommended.

No hemos estado aquí por 3 años. La última vez fue excelente, pero las porciones eran un poco pequeñas. Esta vez pedimos comida en exceso, ya que las porciones ahora eran mucho más grandes. Tenía ternera cocinada lentamente, luego lubina seguido de compartir un tiramisú. Pedimos patatas y una ensalada también. Compartimos una botella de £ 40 vino entre 3 de nosotros. La comida era de excelente calidad y como dije las porciones son mucho más grandes de lo que solían ser, así que nos costó comer de todo! El servicio fue muy atento. Lo único que pensamos que se podía mejorar era la calidad del vino que no nos pareció genial por el precio.

Comida con colegas después de una reunión en el área. Ocupado y animado a mitad de semana, que era una buena señal, pero estábamos sentados enseguida. Una selección de comidas de pizzas, pasta de mariscos y especiales todos bien recibidos. Buen servicio y un encantador limoncello después de pasteles y tiramisú.

Fui varias veces en las últimas semanas por negocios. Siempre habitación sin reserva (a veces arriba, a veces abajo). El personal es atento. El servicio es razonablemente rápido. El menú siempre tiene algo que los huéspedes pueden disfrutar, a pesar de que el menú no ha cambiado en el último mes. Son muy útiles con los alérgenos alimentarios.

One of the best place i have ever been and highly recommend this place per un piatto italiano favoloso. Waitress was excellent friendly and very professional. About the taste was so yummy and delicious!!! Imagine i went there as a single person and ended spending £43 and still was thinking for something else. Thanks again Apulia Restaurant and next time will surely come with numerous family and friends lol.

Rustic and amazing Italian food with great flavours

Service can be more attentive surely. The restaurant seems incredibly understaffed. We waited 20 minutes + for the bill, and we had a concert in 30 minutes. Food was amazing, seafood was as fresh as it could be.

Fabulous true Italian restaurant- ALL the locals eat here - very popular- great wine list - honest Italian cucina like your favourite grandmother (Nonna) would cook for a special family dinner.

We went there to have dinner before a concert. We had 'orecchiette al ragù' (orecchiette pasta with meat sauce), the risotto, and the ravioli, with focaccia to share amongst us. Service was quick, friendly and helpful. Food was fresh, good-sized portions, and the food was delicious, above all the orecchiette.

Food was all under seasoned and wine somewhat pricey, but tasty nevertheless. Service was nothing to write home about but also not objectionable in any way.

I had dinner with my colleague, reflecting on the visit at Bari in Italy. I felt as if I had been in Bari as all foods and wines were very nice.

Had a lovely meal at Apulia. Food was really authentic and delicious. Lots of dairy free options for lactose intolerant foodies which was great! The pasta I had was really fresh. It was a tad too hot in the restaurant but it was a busy Saturday night. Would highly recommend 👌

Wonderful menu, great service and overall a fantastic experience

Got there at 5pm...hadn't booked but we're told it was ok to drink outside and could have a table at 5.30....got to that time and asked if we could eat. Table arranged and then had one course. At about 6.30 we were asked if we wanted some desert. My friend had gone to the bathroom, so I said leave the menus there and we will decide. About a minute later a host came and took the menus, I said we only just got those. He said "I need the table" I said when , he said "now". He then left and came back and said "it's ok you can stay , until 7pm". Obviously we decided to leave, I mean it felt like he was doing us a favour to take more money from us. Of course I understand that we hadn't booked but all he needed to do was say "we are happy to have your custom but unfortunately we have a booking for this table at 6.30 so will you be able to leave by then ? " This is a busy restaurant and I have been in the same position before, where I was told BEFOREHAND that there was a booking and would need to vacate the table by a certain time. Had he said this all would have been fine and we would have had the choice to comply or go elsewhere. The food itself was good and the waiter staff polite and efficient. The actions of the host though left a bitter taste in the mouth (pun intended).

If you want surly slow service with good food this is the place for you. Turn up and the maitre'd won't even bother to look up from his computer and you'll find your own table, thankfully because your friends are already seated. They shoved 9 of us on a table for 8 but did move us downstairs to a better one when challenged. Get up and help yourself to tap water bottles after sitting without attention for 15 minutes. Then get up again to find staff to order some drinks. Risotto with Argentinian prawns only just made the plural with 3 prawns! And when you're done you don't need to ask for your bill, they'll bring it before asking if you've finished as they want to leave well before closing time. Younger staff were fine. Older guys were awful, impolite, churlish and lazy. Never going back.

Food was tasty but: Pizza quality is not that great - bloating instead of feeling light afterwards like some other quality Italian restaurants No caprese, unusual Dessert never came for some!

Delicious food, friendly and polite service, spotlessly clean and a good ambience. I requested a quiet corner and prompt service as we were going on to the theatre, and that is exactly what we got. Perfect.

We had a very pleasant meal at Apulia. The service was very good and friendly. The food was good. It was rather noisy in the restaurant (which was pretty full), which made conversation a little more difficult (but not impossible). Somehow, even with the set lunch menu, the price added up, so that the meal, while not extortionate, was reasonably expensive. Overall, we enjoyed our meal and would come back.

APULIA has got the formula spot-on! Warm welcome, tasty Italian food on the reasonable set menu, generous portions, and attentive service. They are showing others how to do it!

Authentic Italian cuisine in the city. Waiters were attentive and service was quick! Great place to share a pizza when exploring the City of London area. We shared the Polignano pizza but the pasta did look fantastic. I’ll try that next time I visit.

Had we been able to eat in the upstairs dining room, I would've given five stars across the board (assuming that our service was good). But unfortunately, we were seated in the musty dark basement under an air-conditioning unit that was not working and apparently hasn't been working for weeks during this very hot summer. They seated us under the air-conditioning unit with the cover hanging down and a bucket under it and right next to us to catch water - the unit leaks when they turn it on. Apparently the owner has known about this problem for weeks but has refused to do anything about it, putting his staff in a very uncomfortable position - not to mention the customers! This experience made what would've otherwise been a great meal rather disappointing.

Underwhelming. Based on previous reviews I expected good quality and Imaginative Italian food. We found neither. No special flavours, no flair, nothing unusual. Bland and could have come from a chain restaurant. Service was slow. We waited 30 minutes for our main course. The maitre d’i on arrival could not have been more disinterested. Offhand and unengaging. I was concerned that I was bothering him to do his job! We will not be repeating.

The service was courteous and and quick. The food was delicious. Overall, the experience was great value for money.

Excellent past and ravioli dishes plus a really good salad between th two of us. Splendid bottle of Salice Salentino slipped down a treat. Affogato with ice cream to die for, extra cafe Expresso and chilled golden grappa. Just lovely. A bit busy so staff initially stretched and some lively parties less noisy when they had food before them!

Food was fine, but a bit of a mixed bag. Antipasti was underwhelming, pizzas excellent and desserts average at best. Wine, however, was very good. Pricing overall was a bit on the warm side for the quality. Service very patchy - cold at times, very much dependent on which waiter was attending - greeter in particular was ice cold, however the waitress was very good. Useful location for our later needs, but not a returner.

Love this place whenever I need to meet friends in the city - great wine & food & service always

First visit and quite confident I will return. Food was very tasty and the service attentive, which I do not take for granted. The atmosphere was noisy as it was fully packed and overall, this is a great restaurant to eat and fly away quickly, not to chill down there. Prices are high in relation with the portions, I have seen this strategy of pushing customers into small plates to raise the bill, if the portions were bigger it would be 5 stars

Food was fine. We were given a table downstairs in the basement, near the kitchen, that we found excessively noisy and the service was really patchy. Ten minutes after we had been seated and we had not even been offered water and when I managed to catch the server's eye, he did eventually come over and take an order, but even then the drinks took some time to appear. Food appeared promptly; there was one attempt to clear before one diner had finished and then not another attempt for some time. Dessert menus arrived quickly but we were left nursing them for some time before we were served again. I would only come again if i could guarantee a table on the ground floor; by then hopefully the servers will be better trained up.

Went in and gave our name to guy at the door. He found our reservation, took us through, sat us at our table and gave us the menus WITHOUT saying one word to us! So rude and if we weren't so hungry we would have left then. The rest of the staff were ok though. Ordered pizzas. They sounded amazing but were not. The bottom of the pizzas were very soggy making them hard to cut. The table we were on was not really big enough for us and our pizzas so we ended up with plates hanging off the table. It is very cramped and therefore very noisy. Dessert was just ok. The best thing was the peach bellini. Won't be returning, the food quality is better in much cheaper pizzerias.

Great venue, brilliant food. 5 in party, all different dishes I had risotto, best Ive had. Highly recommended, only fault, a bit noisy, but hey ho it was full and everybody chatting away. I will go back

The food at Apulia is amazing - delicious and high quality. The acoustics are very poor though and hard to hear my friend - really needs something done to dampen the noise levels.

Excellent food (try the “Italia” pizza if you want such. And very nice wine.
