Brilliant tasty excellent as always

Hi, the papadoms and the chutneys were lovely, the mint yog was yellow with no mint flavour…strange. The lime pickle was incredible. One of my favourite dishes is butter chicken. I haven’t had a proper one in such a long time. I was very disappointed with what has arrived to the table here. Butter chicken was more like a korma and clearly a tandoori chicken breast had been sliced and mixed through. Jaipuri, it was better than the chicken. Saag panner was lacking spices big time and it was luke warm. The man breads was the best part of the dish. 5star We will not be returning, the search goes on.

lovely staff great food specially the chicken tikka wrap and pakora and mind sauce. I am yet to try the curries but i know they will also be exceptional 👌 best takeaway in Alness

Really enjoyed our meal here a good traditional hot vindaloo and a chicken madras. Mushroom bahji very good and staff very friendly and efficient. The mixed starter is also good but unless you're very hungry a bit filling as a starter .. Also they produced a very generous portion of fresh cucumber raita - which not on the menu

Called in the Indian ocean Middleton road m/cr with my mates to cool off from the hot weather.Cool beers All round then the menu.slipped in another beer whilst our starters came lovely then our mains very tasty first time trying this meal Indian Ocean special.Brilliant with rice & paratha great chefs worth a visit always look forward to my next visit staff always very pleasant & kind.Well done ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Excellent staff, food and ambience. We decided to have an Indian meal one night while staying in Inverness and with lots of choice, as there are quite a few to choose from, this was an excellent choice. A lovely place, great staff, amazing food pretty much sums it up. There was plenty of staff, and they were all very welcoming, friendly, and attentive at the right times. Great choices on the menu at reasonable prices. Excellent food, well presented and tasty! Can't fault anything about our visit. Would definitely return and recommend

A very warm welcome from staff when we arrived on Saturday night. Didn’t book, just popped in after a visit to Skye for the day. There was an exciting array of dishes on the menu to choose from, some we’d never come across before, so we thought we’d be daring. And we are so glad that we came out of our comfort zone. The chef’s recommendations were very exciting and so tasty. All of our food was steaming hot, unbelievably fresh and just exploded with flavours. Really worth the slightly higher prices that we are normally used to. The takeaways were really busy throughout our time at the restaurant, but that did not interfere with the service bestowed on us whilst eating our meal. Would fully recommend this restaurant for both the food and the service. Can’t wait for our next visit.

Das war nix ! Chickenwings nicht empfehlenswert. trocken und aufgewärmt. Die Burger lieblos serviert, ohne Salat, Gurke, Zwiebeln ect. Ketchup, Sauce und Majo jeweils aus der Packung. Pommes geschmacklos und man musste kräftig nachsalzen. Dafür war der Preis recht ordentlich. Nie wieder !!!!

We ate dinner here after a long day; 21:40 hours (I believe it stays open late). We were the only table occupied at that time of night (but there was a small stream of take-away customers). The welcome was friendly and warm. We had poppadoms, chicken tikka, sag aloo, Peshwari nan, beer and wine; £67. I'd go again.

As visitors to the area, we were a little apprehensive to order here after reading mixed reviews. We are so pleased we ignored the few negative reviews; we really enjoyed our food (particularly the korma, madras and saag paneer), it pleasantly surprised us and satisfied our Indian takeaway craving. Our only constructive feedback is that the onion bhaji batter could have been a little less stodgy and the lamb a little more tender. Otherwise great meals all round. Thank you Mehmood’s!

No volveremos. Lo mejor fue el entrante de cebolla bhaji. El pollo Tikka Massala era tan dulce y tenía coco en la salsa, que era insípido, como comida para bebés con trozos de pollo! El pollo en el pollo tikka patia estaba demasiado cocido y por lo tanto seco y masticable! Sin embargo, el arroz al ajo era bueno! Así que es una pena, ya que esta es nuestra comida local para llevar india, pero prefiero viajar un poco más lejos para una comida decente!

I have never tasted such a vile curry in my life I had a so called chicken tikka masala and my wife had chicken bhuna neither tasted like what it was supposed to taste like I ate 3 mouthful and the rest went in the bin will not be going back

We ordered samosa ,onion Bhaji, yellow daal , kadai paneer. Samosa was made from frozen pkt. Rest items were very good. The only guy on the counter was not cheerful and sad looking. But food made up for it

Ordered on just eat and the food never arrived.

To even call their service bad would be to praise them. No one was there to take orders. Only 2 chefs, one of whom was the owner, could not manage even a single table. Advise in short.. save your money to no go there.
