Good food, and courteous service. We had a table of seven for a family occasion, and were served quality food at a comfortable pace.

We had a lovely late night dinner at this restaurant in Tain. Very friendly service, accompanied by even better food. Great value for money. Might go back tomorrow :)

Share a portion. Chicken korma with pilau rice. Chicken was tender, korma creamy and flavoursome, rice was fluffy. Enjoyed this.

We found the Curry Club after leaving Plaform1864 after viewing bad hygiene practices. We were really hungry and just needed some where to go and eat after a long day on the NC500. We were not disappointed, far from it! The service was excellent, very friendly, not at all pushy and really down to earth. The food was amazing, really good portion size, i never had a starter and was filled up just from my curry and rice. Delicious, friendly, and really quite relaxing, it was the perfect end to the day. Thank you

Food is nice, Specially biryani is very good. Sound a little traditional but rest of dishes are not indian traditional. Service was good, Could have more spicy. Tain is a pretty small town. Nice people around.

We searched for a good place to eat in Tain and we found this great place. The Indian food was very authentic and the spicy curry I had was actually spicy (which you cannot take for granted). Also the non-Indian food was good. Recommended!

I have eaten on several times in this place, but the excuses for not having credit card machine working have worn a bit thin. Make sure when ordering a drink you see it poured from a bottle in front of you. The important part, the food, is good in general, I would recommend the Curry Club Special or one of the sizzling platters.

We telephoned for a takeaway meal for five and were told it would be ready for collection in thirty minutes. The establishment has a large carry out area with an adjoining dining area. Although car parking is a problem on High Street, there is ample parking in nearby Upper King Street. There is a huge menu with options of Indian and European food plus pizzas. Our order was waiting for us when we arrived. One word of warning. Credit & Debit cards are not accepted. Cash is the only payment method. This is the third Indian Takeaway that I have had in the last three months and although the food was perfectly acceptable, it did not quite match my previous two experiences. However the prices were very reasonable and we all received every item we had ordered.

The restaurant was full during a busy event in Tain, but the staff worked very hard, were very efficient under pressure and remained friendly to their customers. Food was good. The inside was clean, fresh and well maintained. We went back a second night just to get some take away food (Top Tain Curry Club also has a takeaway section, which is separate from the restaurant). Not what you expect from a takeaway where you can also get some chips and a pizza. Like in the restaurant the portions were large and everything in the takeaway was well finished and very clean. I bought a chicken burger and the salad was fresh! Quite a difference to the common greasy chippy.

My Son and I went to the Curry Club straight from work on a Wednesday evening. The service was great and the lady who took our orders was very pleasant. The starters were excellent and the portions were good as well. The main courses on the menu looked fantastic and there were a number I have not heard of before.Having chosen one of these "unheards" I was really pleased with it. Good portions and tasted delicious. We will definitely be back.

We were hungry and wanted to go straight to the main event.I had the Lamb Bhoona which turned out to be four and a half sugar-cube-size pieces of lamb marooned in a quarter inch of slimy paste that may have been "Pataks" curry sauce from a jar. On second thoughts that’s a bit of an insult to "Pataks"!My partner had the Lamb Patia. Again the same diminutive portion of lamb camouflaged this time with a sauce that looked identical to the colour and consistency of Heinz Tomato Ketchup. The added 'exotic' element was the slice of lemon at the bottom. The taste was of warmed-up salty lemon sorbet. Our "portion" of PiIau Rice was an upturned small teacup of microwaved rice; a small mole hill on a large plate. We were also served two lukewarm, gasless Cokes obviously tipped out from a larger bottle behind the bar. I doubt the total raw ingredients of our meal cost in excess of £1,50. We were back out on the street in the drizzle of Tain in under twenty minutes and £31,70 poorer.Avoid this place like you would a social disease!

Went for a sit down meal here. The food was abysmal - and in fact the worst Indian i've eaten in my life. I went for Jaipuri Chicken, which was ready in 5 minutes! A sticky cornflour sauce that was bright red in colour. There was no individual spice tastes jumping out such as coriander or cardamom etc, no tiny bits of garlic or ginger here. I hate curries out of a jar - and this was worse! The chicken tikka was of course pre-cooked and added to this heated up gloop of a sauce, as were the green pepper and mushrooms that made it into a JAIPURI!! My partners dish - the butter chicken curry was as bad. Complained and got the chef/owner who was out of whites. Said he could make a curry like I was describing, but we were constrained by time. The curries were reduced for us to half price ie from £10 to £5 .This did not include the rice 2 x £2,50 and nan bread £3.95 as well as a water and a coke. £20 bill for rubbish. Felt cheated as the profit they made from us must have been huge percentage ways.

Large menu of eat-in or take-away. Good service. We chose Indian dishes and they were good. Did not come with usual curry accompaniments like chutneys, papadams etc but was still good. Good value.

Went here on a recommendation from the host at Golf View House in Tain. Enjoyed it so much I ate here every night while staying in Tain and even drove down from Golspie apres golf a few times the following week. I was working my way though the menu until my time ran out in Scotland. I really enjoyed the food and felt it was authentic ethnic food. I might have liked it a little hotter (spice wise) but understand why they don't want to risk the taste buds of those who like it mild. I really enjoyed the Cobra Indian Beer as an accompanying it beverage. It blended right in. Highly recommended.

Visited with three colleagues while on business and we had a very nice meal, It had a good choice of dishes and the service was fine. We all ordered different meals and everyone enjoyed their food, the nans were ok (one was bright orange but tasted ok, not sure if it was meant to be that way or if it was an accident!)We had a few beers and all in all it was a good meal, nothing outstanding but it would not stop me going back there. Good value too. Service was fine, we had a good crack and the staff left us until we called them and no pressure to leave the table.

Went here with a friend a few months back. The menu was very large and included a vast array of different types of meals. Great choice of side dishes and rices. I had a chicken pasanda which was absolutely heavenly. Perfectly creamy and is a dish I would recommend to anyone who goes here. We also had Peshwari naan bread which was, again, fresh and of a high quality. Prices are above the average but you're getting the portion size and quality you pay for. Service was friendly and assuring and the restaurant area is well furbished. Definitely give this place a go.

Good food, well priced and knowledgable staff. Will cater to taste. Small restaurant but still feels spacious. Please dont be out off by sister restaurant which is fish and chips next door. I will go back if I ever return to hat part of country. We are curry lovers and are quite fussy!! Enough said.

Myself and a few work colleagues held a hen night for a male work colleague, as we werent allowed on his stag night. The Curry House were only too happy to let us hold it there. It`s decor is stunning, love what they have done! They let us decorate the table and play our own music which most places wouldnt go that far. It was a fantastic night! And the food was amazing... we all cleared our plates which were stuffed to the brim. Would defiately recomend eating here.... amazing! Well done staff and owners of the Curry House! x

I came to Tain for the first time and fancied a curry - the absolute best curry I have ever tasted. The garlic chicken starter is not to be missed and as for the north Indian garlic chilli chicken, it is to die for. I would come back to Tain purely for a curry!

I am normally a fan The Wee Delhi. But, on this occasion the food was awful. A Chicken Tikka Marsala. The chicken was quite nice , but the sauce was awful. It was like coconut soaked in tomato kectchup. It was so incredibly sweet ,much more akin to a sloppy desert rather than a Masala sauce. Not a hint of curry flavour. What a shame. I would be reluctant to buy another meal there. There are obviously no set ingredients to guarantee any dish. The wee Delhi special which I usually have , is meant to have green peppers ,more often than not , they not included in this dish.

This is the 3rd or 4th time we’ve been to Rajah now, if we choose to have an Indian in Inverness this is typically the first choice. This time around the food was superb as usual and the customer service was great. Staff were very friendly and kind and the food came out in perfect time. They didn’t rush to give us the bill after we’d finished and were chatting which was nice. Will be returning

We ordered samosa ,onion Bhaji, yellow daal , kadai paneer. Samosa was made from frozen pkt. Rest items were very good. The only guy on the counter was not cheerful and sad looking. But food made up for it
