Do not listen to any negative reviews about this fantastic Indian restaurant. We found the food to be delicious, fresh and authentic. Staff were polite and very efficient. We brought in our own drinks and also had soft drinks from the restaurant. A thoroughly enjoyable evening.

Tried the Milijhuli vegetable curry and the dal. Both were very good. Side portion was rather on the smaller side. Enquired the staff prior to ordering the Naan bread if they were using ready to bake naans which they denied and told us were being freshly made. To our surprise, we were served a naan which tasted and looked pretty much like one off a supermarket shelf. Would have been happier ordering the rice has the staff not misled us which was rather strange of them to do so. Average experience overall.

I will never recommend this hotel to anyone. The worst Indian restaurant ever in Scotland. I ordered chicken briyani and they ended up bringing chicken tikka biryani and charged me more as well. And also, you pay £14 to get small portion of rice. They served briyani in a soup bowl where you pay £14. Mainly, they will not serve you even a glass of water. I don’t think this is a restaurant. I wouldn’t be able to write a review without giving a star. So even if you are about to starve and die don’t go to this restaurant.

The service was fine, no complaints. There weren’t many people in the restaurant and that should Have been a clue but we were hungry and wanted a takeaway. There is no separate takeaway menu so picked off the restaurant menu. I expected the prices to be different for takeaway but the server charged full sit in prices! We had the chicken pakora (6 small overcooked pieces), plain naan and peshwari naan (both delicious), boiled rice, popadoms (tasty), chicken tikka pasanda (tasted delicious but portion was tiny 10 small pieces of chicken and 3/4 full sauce) and tikka masala (same as the pasanda but sauce was watery ). At home (we are tourists) we get this meal and it costs £32 and could comfortably feed 4 with leftovers from my husband the following day. Here it was £52 and we struggled to feed 2 adults and 2 children. Very disappointing! Over priced!! I guess they get away with it as visitors only need to visit once! Hopefully people read the reviews purchasing…unlike me!!

Avoid. Ordered two chips cheese and chicken tikkas, turned up and has no cheese, the chips were all stale and cold, seems like it was just the end of cooked batch. Chicken looked awful- pictured. Phoned to ask for a refund and was told they couldn’t do a refund and they’d have to go threw the boss, when asked to speak to the boss he said he is in Pakistan 😂 what use is that to me? Not my problem, £21 you think you’d get at least decent chips 😂 waited nearly an hour for it, and wasted my takeaway cash. Great

I can’t believe what I’ve just been told when trying to order. I asked the guy to ask the chef to cut my chicken in small pieces please. I always ask and they always oblige. This guy just told me he wouldn’t do it and I should order from somewhere else. This was my favourite Indian takeaway - but really!

The Prince of India restaurant was horrendous. The staff was incredibly rude and mean, making us feel unwelcome and uncomfortable from the moment we arrived. Their hostile attitudes and complete lack of customer service ruined our meal. This place is a disaster—do yourself a favor and stay far away.

A return visit after shopping in Inverness. This is the second time I have had the family sharing box and again it did not disappoint. I have told all my friends on the West coast about it and they are going to try it. It's 2 minutes from the main road and you can park straight outside, there is also a handy co-op next door if you have forgotten anything. The place is spotless and are always very busy which must mean something apart from the delicious food and smiling service
