What an absolute gem! Went twice during our trip to Inverness and still think about these delectable meals. Quick service, friendly staff, authentic food. What more can you ask for?

Staying here as part of a bus tour so got a 10% discount which was a bonus. Thought I'd have a quick dinner vegetable korma and 2 glasses of excellent Pinot Grigio later, the korma was honestly the best I've ever had, the service was polite and friendly and efficient. 10 out of 10 from me

Had a wonderful meal on a Friday evening. 2 persons had food from the Indian menu with the other ordering from the Asian side. Couldn't fault the food or the service, certainly the best I've tried in the area for these types of cuisines. My only issue was that the menu was on the smaller side, which I usually don't mind if the quality is good and ingredients are fresh. But at the same time some of the dishes were already unavailable, which made the menu even smaller. Luckily, we're not picky and the food we did order was lovely. We will be back for sure!

Please do update your systems. It shows Resturant closing time 2pm. We had a long walk from town center and reached restaurant by 1:30pm. The receptionist denied the entry as the kitchen closes 1:30pm. Please make you change the updates as there are few other reviews which had the same followings concerns.

Attentive But basic food. No real atmosphere just a pit stop.

Really tasty food. But sadly they mixed up our orders of very spicy tikka massala and not too spicy tikke massale. Resulting in my husband having severly overapiced himself. Funny to me, not so much for him. Very nice setting. Clearly a restaurant of which the owners and staff are proud and rightfully so.

They serve halal food. The quality and quantity of food require some major improvements. Service is top notch though. The hakka noodles had too.much of Shan masala, were very dry. The chicken Tikka masala tasted sweet and creamy like butter chicken(unless we got the wrong order) lamb biryani was OK, nothing exceptional to be paying said price. The serving size of main dishes are actually more like side orders. Not a traditional authentic Indian food experience. Also not accessible for wheelchair users. There isn't a ramp at the main entrance, it's a flight of stairs.

Really dissapointed by Tiger on the wall. Me and husband were were back from a day long journey to and fro from the Isle of Skye and wanted to have dinner and went to their restaurant as it’s closest to our hotel, but to our surprise we were refused a table as we were there by 9.35 pm whereas they remain open till 10:30pm (as mentioned on google). They made an excuse that last order is by 9.30 pm and we were late. This radiates a very unprofessional behavior with a lethargic attitude towards their customers. They should probably update this on their website as well as google and also try to accomodate some guests who are coming to them for the 2nd time.

Went for a friend's night out . I ordered chicken korma. There was nothing like it . Did not have coconut as a korma would n the chicken was certainly not breast chicken it was awful. I was physically sick the next day at work. Felt awful.

Rarely have we had such good service, the waiters were very attentive and super friendly. The food was also top. Went there twice and chose the Indian dishes. Delicious

The best thing is the view out of the windows. There is nothing wrong with this restaurant but it is hard to be enthusiastic about any other aspects and it isn't cheap.

Qué desgracia. Pedimos una comida para llevar y teníamos grandes expectativas ya que se nos recomendó. Los Kormas tenían cuatro trozos de pollo y la salsa era muy fina. La otra comida fue la misma, muy poca carne y mucha salsa gruesa. El arroz se servía en pequeños helados como tarrinas. El pan nan estaba seco y súper fino. Lo peor de todo es que fue extorsionante por solo tres comidas y ni siquiera sabían bien.

Es un hermoso escenario mirando hacia el río y el castillo. Para nuestra comida pedimos el Fish Amritsari y Hara Bhara Kebab para empezar. Ambos eran muy picantes. Para nuestro Mains pedimos King Prawn Moilee y Pollo Sweet & Sour, ambos con Arroz al Vapor. El Sweet & Sour era encantador, pero el King Prawn Moilee era como un tazón de coco crema y no hecho con leche de coco como en el menú. No hay muchos langostinos y poco sabor. Cuesta más que otros restaurantes indios en Inverness, por lo que agregar un cargo de servicio del 10% a la factura es grosero. Warren y Sharon eran muy agradables.

We came here Friday evening before going to a show nearby going on just in the off chance as we hadn't booked. They seated us straight away as it was early evening and fairly quiet. The service in here was excellent, we had two starters, two mains and two desserts they were all delicious with good presentation, no pressure from the friendly staff and the price was very good considering the location, we will definitely go again when in Inverness, unfortunately I didn't get and photos before of the dishes we had.

My partner had Manchorian Chicken and I had Chicken Masala. Both were absolutely good. Service attentive, tables and chairs cleaned after each guest - not with a dirty lamp, but with cleaning products. We cannot understand the comments with fake reviews.

Hubby and I went before our show in Eden Court and it was really beautiful food. We will definitely be back again when back in Inverness.

The bottom of the bag broke as I was carrying it to my car and I lost half of my food to the pavement. Very disappointing because the food is lovely!

Not the best experience, food was barely warm. Portions were very small. Server started clearing plates while others in our party were still eating, not professional!! Beer prices were way too expensive. We have been previously and found that on this occasion it was most definitely below par. Wouldn't rush back or recommend. For the price charged, service and food need to improve. Beware, they add a service charge onto your bill, this I hate. If I want to tip, I will do it at my discretion!!!!!!!!

The BEST king prawn Moilee of my life. The ingredients are fresh and you can tell the chef knows their food. My tummy is happy.

Hay mejores restaurantes en Inverness para la cocina india. La comida estaba bien, pero sobreprecio. No me gustó el cargo por servicio, siempre daré propina por un buen servicio, al igual que la mayoría de las personas! Restaurante muy anticuado y necesita un cambio de imagen. Extraña mezcla de tailandés e indio y me preguntaron tres veces si quería comprar una bebida a pesar de decir que estaba feliz con el agua! Volvería a visitar, solo si en cualquier otro lugar estaba lleno.

Very small portions for the price, not the best... Ordered lamb rogan josh and found it with 6 pieces of meat and lots and lots of very runny sauce; had to fish for the meat in the bowl! Sauce was too salty for my liking too, I guess it is a matter of taste, though. Similar feelings from my mates on the table, none would chose to come back. Automated 10% service charge on top of the bill is a joke!

The food was tasty with lots of spice but very little heat, which was disappointing when I had ordered the 'hotter' of the items, a rogan josh. The gravy arrived and was completely without heat. Oddly, with my drink empty and halfway through my main, no one came to check on our table. So it was only at the end when I discussed the lack of heat with the waiter. She explained that I wasn't given the Indian spice - damn my honky skin! I'd recommend the fish starter, Amritsari, as it had some heat and lots of lovely spice, a mix I wasn't familiar with. The tamarind sauce that accompanied our other starter, samosa, was brilliant. The samosa filling was again tasty and vibrant, with coriander bursting through but we found the pastry to be stodgy and not crunchy which was a shame as the standard 'uk' samosa tends to be doughy, it is rare to come across that filo pastry crunch that I thought was being offered. The second main, butter chicken, was fine however if being critical, it had the bitter taste of my mother's childhood kitchen staple of condensed tomato soup. We also tried the gyoza starter which came with a chili sauce, both felt like they were from the cash and carry. The decor was strange. The tiger in the wall motif wallpaper made sense alongside the furniture choices, but it was drowned out by the random juke box and pun centric wall art. This was a shame given the presence of original period finishes and the fantastic views of the river. Bonus points for the curry being served as gravies! I'd like to say I'd eat there again but I don't get out often and would simply try a different venue for next time but I would certainly recommend to you, friends and family to try if they haven't.

We went straight into the restaurant without any booking but the receptionist was really helpfull and give us a table for an hour. The food was really tastefull and good. But 3 starts for Overpricing. We ordered CHIKEN BIRYANI 1 portion but it was 18.90£, Personally i think it was way much over priced. Also Mango lassi 5£ for a small glass.

One of the better curries in Inverness..

We were 3 families there in Inverness for 3 nights. We had dinner every night there and food was in good in every sense. Be it veg, non-veg, biryani rice snacks everything was delicious.

I had the Malabar chicken and my wife had the Butter Chicken. Both were outstanding. Service was excellent. Highly recommend.

This is one of those Indian restaurants as I say, takes pride in running food business. Their tandoori roti stood out. I have not known too many restaurants that make them and make them that good.

We got a lovely 15% discount delivered through the post so decided to order to collect and eat at home. The food was delicious! Great selection of different meals and we were very excited to see they also did noodles as well as rice. We ordered a meal each and some nan and it was the perfect amount in little vegeware tubs. No annoying left overs. Will definitely go here again. Ate it too quickly to remember to take pictures!

The service is pathetic. Waiters are very arrogant and not at all cooperative and very rigid. The waiter named Warren is very arrogant and after providing stale bread he asked us to wait for 20 min for the fresh breads while all our main dishes were served which would become cold if we wait for 20 minutes. The utmost decency is that they should at least serve that customer whose order was messed up but here the case is something else. He was very unprofessional and rigid about very small things like food preparation. It’s very shameful to see that an Indian Restaurant is so rigid and can’t even cater some special requirements. They don’t have any decency or respect towards their customers. Although their food is good but my overall experience is very bad as there is no focus towards customer satisfaction at all. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

We were a team of 7 family members - who had dinner at this place - very courteous service and food that we ordered - were good in taste and quantity.

This place was recommended by my B&B host a short walk away who said if I liked my curries, then I should not miss this. He was absolutely correct! Spread over 2 rooms with lovely views looking towards the river & cathedral, the ambience is straight-forward and pleasant (no 70s flock wallpaper here!). The staff were efficient and friendly and food & drinks arrived promptly. The real stand-out here is the quality of the food - outstanding! I opted for Chicken Hyderabadi with Aloo Gobi, Basmati Rice and a Garlic Naan. The chicken dish was superb - spicy but not hot and I could taste the coriander, lemon grass and other flavours evenly throughout. The rice was perfectly cooked and the naan felt as though it had just been freshly baked. Tasty & delicious would be a huge understatement. Whilst I wouldn't consider myself a curry connoisseur, I have had a great many over the years and this surpassed most previous experiences by a long way. I've also worked with Indian colleagues who often brought their own home-cooked Indian food for lunch and this tasted very like the very best of those (they'd often delight in asking me to try their home cooking!). Seek this out if you're in town and you like a good curry - I promise you won't be disappointed. PS: A previous reviewer noted that the menu was a little small. To which I would point out: a) Most Indian restaurant menus are way too large, they can't offer quality food on that basis; b) This place also does Chinese food as well (though I can't speak about that).

Would highly recommend, if in mood for some Indian. Main course are better than snacks. We had black dal, chicken tikka masala, kadai veg, Hakka noodle, garlic naan! And everything was really delicious! Location is easy to find, and you can park in the next lane easily. They close 9pm ish, and better to call and book in advance.

Friendly service. Main course was good, starters were acceptable. The room is very beautiful. Main criticism: Price/performance is absolutely not appropriate. The mandatory service fee has already been mentioned here many times, and the individual dishes and drinks are far too expensive in comparison.

I have to start of by saying I love Indian food and have been to a few Indian restaurants in Inverness, I was so looking forward to going here as reviews are good!! I knew the prices where high so wasn’t surprised! My huge disappointment was the food!!! Chicken tikka starter was good, we asked for pakora and was told to get the crispy lentil bites, they where horrible! Nothing like normal pakora! Then mains butter chicken and chicken hydrabady both just tasted weird! So I definitely won’t be back! £120 mmm not worth it at all!! So many better places for Indian food at a much cheaper price!! I though I was going to get something a bit special and was gutted! Hidden service added to bill that I didn’t realise!! I have no idea why this place would get a 5 star, it’s funny everyone that hasn’t given 5 star are all saying the same thing!!!!!

Good location but decor and the full experience was strange, not an ethnic Indian restaurant. Menu was limited and items couldn’t be changed, which tells me that food might be already prepared. Food was nice and tasted good, Slightly over priced and 10% added to the bill without being asked for service.

Good options and located right by the river. Food is uneven with some great options and some average dishes. Vegetarian was better. Staff is helpful.

I am not sure how this place got good reviews and how true these good reviews are. My honest review is below The food is average there is no wow factor. food is very expensive compared to the portion as the portion is very very small. Eg: chicken fried rice is £16 and the portion is the size of a small porridge bowl. Some of the food items on the menu we wanted was not avilable, apparently out of stock. I can understand that and it is not a negative comment. We bought a prawn manchurian (£21), a fried rice (£16),a small rice portion and a apple tiser (£4.50)totalling us £45 (including 10% service charge and VAT). It is a considerably big bill for very small portions. It is a rip off to be honest. We would not visit again.

I am pleased to write this review in regards to my dinner I ate it was absolutely amazing and the decoration on the plate was great, Sharon Khan & Ruben were outstanding. I'd definitely eat there again.

Not only was the food delicious, but the teams attentiveness and genuine care for our dining experience truly stood out. The recommendations were spot on, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed throughout our meal.
