Pretty poor in terms of food quality. Basically bland with pushy staff trying to hurry us up the whole time and treating us like we had never ordered Indian before. Big mistake all round.

Amazing food and fantastic service. We came as a party of 4 following a long hike up Ben Nevis. We all tried something we’d never had before and were not disappointed with the quality of the food. Absolutely delicious! All 4 of us said the curries were some of the best we’d ever had. It was the perfect meal after a long tiring day. Would love to visit again.

We visited on our way through Fort William to celebrate completing the NC500 road trip round Scotland, on arrival the staff insisted on us eating here which came across as very pushy and against better judgement we decided to and what a bad idea that turned out to be! The food was very poor. Chicken pakoras to start were over battered and just normal chicken nuggets, we ordered lamb tikka and the lamb was mushy and could literally be drained of the water in it, the sauce was watery like soup on all dishes and tasteless and to top it off it was extremely overpriced overall bad experience would not recommend.

I would like to start this review by saying that this place deserves at least a 4.0 not a 3.7 stars. We went here as a family of three (two adults, one teenage child) and it definitely exceeded most of the expectations set by the reviews. We ordered rice, naan, vegetable korma, aloo gobi, and saag paneer. The first thing we did was ordered water and it came almost instantly (also when we finished the bottle and asked for more it was very quick). Then we ordered our food and it was pretty speedy service. Some reviews have complained about being ‘checked on too often’ or even ‘nagged to finish’ but the servers were nice and did not come too much. The food was good except the potato balls in the aloo gobi were very big. The vegetable korma was very different than other places we have tried it and was a bit too sweet. Other than that, the rice was good (although not enough cardamom seeds) and I can not stress to you how good the naan was, and I imagine the garlic version would have been better! We even had to get another piece to take away. The view was incredible and it was nice to look out at the loch. In conclusion it was a very nice place in terms of service, sides, and views but the food was a bjt average. Overall it is a good place for people who don’t mind the foods taste being a bit different than other Indian places. But definitely great if you are new to Indian! 4 stars!

Wow, simply amazing. Very busy on a Sunday night, they said maybe a 30 minute wait for a table, was only 10. At the table they quickly took our order, and the food appeared within 10-15 minutes. Their service was exemplary. To be honest the thing that blew me away the most was how all the employees were working their tails off to get stuff done. All of them were moving with a sense of purpose and quickly...delivering food, getting drinks, clearing tables, it was awesome to see such an atmosphere of wonderful work ethic. The food... fantastic, we had the chicken korma, vegetable biryani, lamb palak, and vegetable balti. Our 2 year old had chicken nuggets and chips. The masala fries were spicy and delicious. Excellent all around... we will be going back tomorrow for seconds!!

This place was. . . not good. We were lured in by the good smells from outside the restaurant but we were all of us deceived.Immediately when you enter and start looking at the menu, you will notice that the entire waitstaff working during that shift appears to be assigned to your table, as well as everybody else’s. Around every 45 seconds, some waiter will come to your table and ask if you’re ready to order and you’ll feel very rushed. Once you do order, they won’t even stop coming to your table so you can have a peaceful conversation with your company. I had the feeling the waitstaff was pressured by the management to appear busy at all times. It’s almost as if they were overstaffed. Then the food came. To be honest, I wish it was bland, because my chicken must have had a 1/2 cup of sugar in the sauce. My wife’s chicken tikka masala was bright, vibrant neon red, and the pilau rice was just food coloring with no evident seasoning. You can kind of tell individual grains of rice are dyed. The naan was good, but to be honest that would be pretty hard to mess up. At least the view out the window was pretty.

We ordered fried rice and got boiled basmati rice (bland). Chicken jalfarezi was ok but again the bright red tandori colour was immensely unappetising. Staff needs to learn a thing or two about the hospitality sector - weird attitude. The amount of money owner has spent on ambience speaks for itself (and oh dont get me started on playing french pop songs in an Indian restaurant…!!??) but it would be wise to channel the money in finding a proper indian chef and training waiters. You need to pay extra if you want a dip which we didn’t know that. Strange for a restaurant but the spiced onions are served in a take away container at your table and also very dry. Best curry ever!! Wasn't really wanting a curry this night but it was right opposite our hotel. But so glad we did come here. Looks small from outside but behind go up some stairs to a large open plan area overlooking the Loch. Pleasant area with nice ambience. We just had main meals but both were a LOT better than our usual curries. We had Lamb Madras, which was a nice brown colour . Sauce was hot but nit burning. But the lamb was AMAZING! So tender, it just melted in your mouth. Not chewy or tough. I had Chicken Korai. 1st time with this dish. I usually have madras but wanted a change. Very similar, but again, meat was beautiful . Sauce hot and VERY tasty. DEFINATELY would get again. Even the Naans were tasty. Not greasy. 2x curries with naans and rice, with 1 beer and 1 soft drink= £57. WELL worth the money. Samosa and onion bhaji were fine, the main dish was naan and chicken jalfrezi. Naan was good and fresh, as were the starters. The chicken was just thrown into the curry and not cooked together, precooked on a skewer, so not the best way and saving time. Me and my best friend visited fort William, after a long drive from Liverpool and Leeds and quite a few cocktails. Me and my bestie thought it was best not to cook. Rang this lovely restaurant and asked for a take away. Despite the fact they don’t deliver, they took pitty on me and my friend. They really did not disappoint, this is one of the best chicken tikkas I have eaten, the perfect blend of sweet and species, fantastic naan bread. My friend had the lamb korma, lamb was perfectly tender and delicious. 10/10.

Booked a table for two and was welcomed in. Had the usual popodoms and dips which was lovely and crisp. A couple of Peroni zeros were had. Main chicken tikka rogan Josh and a bhuna were decent size and very flavoursome. The peshwerie nan a bit tough. Service was excellent and staff pleasant. Will certainly return.

We are here tonight as a family of five. Two adults and children aged 9-15. We had popadoms and pickles to start, then onion bhajis and samosas followed by mains of curries and biriani and sides of naan, rices and paratha bread. The service was lovely and all food tasted fresh and delicious. It isn’t cheap but prices are in line with other restaurants in the area. We would definitely come back if staying in the area again.

One of the worst Indian restaurants I have ever tried! The service was slow and poor, Samosas and bhaji were dry/overcooked. We would not eat here again.

The food here tastes nothing like Indian food. Somehow the butter paneer was… sweet? First time I’ve had sweet Indian food, the naan tasted nothing like how it’s supposed to taste. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place, the negative reviews tell the truth.

We ordered samosa ,onion Bhaji, yellow daal , kadai paneer. Samosa was made from frozen pkt. Rest items were very good. The only guy on the counter was not cheerful and sad looking. But food made up for it
