My husband and me are regulars at EM’s so today when we visited we were saddened to see that she is closing down today.
The baking has always been first class and the friendly staff, amazing. EM’s will be greatly missed in Dingwall.
All that is left for me to say is that we wish Emily and her staff all the very best in the future. A truely brilliant baker.
Stopped here for coffee. Place was empty, server looked miserable, unsmiling and didnt engage in any chat. Coffee was ok but the Mars Bar I ordered looked dull and grey when I opened it. Checked the date it, was over a year old and out of date.
We read about this cafe (somewhere) and thought it warranted a visit. How right we were.
The weather was fine so we were able to sit outdoors to enjoy our frankfurters and fine German lager. The meal was excellent, the lager even better and the service was perfect. Needless to say, we were more than pleased with the whole experience. The menu might be slightly limited but only because the items on offer are so well prepared that less is more. And the service was attentive without being overbearing. A great place for 2 ex-Canadians to take a break from the streets of Nairn.
If you're in the area make sure you find time to visit.
Found this place after a morning of fishing and so glad we did!
Great takeaway set up, super friendly service, cakes clearly made with passion, they were to die for! We couldn’t decide which to buy so bought all 4! Was going to save two for later, but they were too good to keep, so ate all 4 with a lush cuppa overlooking the sea - mmmmm delicious!
Thank you for sharing a little slice of happiness with us!

A quick stop off after our tour at the centre. Our wee boy enjoyed his pop dots with chocolate sauce. All OK but not as good as Aviemore. I was queuing at the till point and then people who came along after me got served first, at the ice cream counter. If there is a clear way to queue please put a sign up!
If I lived in Nairn, this would be my go-to café every day. The freshly made food is extremely tasty and the selection is extensive. The naturally endearing charisma of the owner, and her staff, add an extra satisfying portion of decadent spice.
High streets everywhere need a place like this..
Staff were amazing and helpful
Hot chocolate is amazing
I had the double dare you burger which was perfect
The chips are lovely crispy and well seasoned
Would go back in a heart beat amazing shop great food
Agree with the other reviews. This is an unlikely place to find at the end of the world. We felt welcomed and in the main enjoyed our stay. The only downside was the cost for the 2 of us. £200 for a snack, breakfast, plate of curry and a bunkhouse bed with no shower and a outside toilet seemed breathtaking expensive. To put this into perspective, we go to a nice hotel each year for a winter break, that's more than we pay per day at the hotel with vastly more civilized amenities. I do understand there are logistics involved at Cape wrath. However for an 'ordinary' local Scottish person I'd be looking to stay at sandwood bay and make a lunch trip to the cafe as I simply can't justify the cost/value. However, it is altogether improbably situated and a must experience if you are doing a long walk. Just be prepae your expectations.
La primera vez que he estado en este café. Tienes grandes porciones casi demasiado para mí. Volveré.
La comida y el servicio era de 5 * y un buen ambiente tranquilo 👍
