Had a double take away from Sushiness last Sunday evening. Was a really pleasant surprise and definitely a welcome addition to the Inverness culinary scene. Very friendly Chilean guy on duty and the food produced was fab and so fresh. The gohan tempura bowl was delicious, filling and well balanced. The empanada - a posh pasty - was also very tasty, although next time I hope to try the minced beef one, as this is apparently more authentic. Will definitely go again and would heartily recommend. I also look forward to the ceviche during the summer months. Nothing speaks more of South America than fresh fish and lime juice. With the quality of fish that we have in the Highlands, this should be ceviche central!

A hidden gem! Run by a friendly Chilean guy, this place offers a novel twist on the usual sushi experience- including lamb rolls, and deep fried rolls. Recommended!

This little gem is up a back street but we’ll worth the visit. Very simple menu - inexpensive, perfect food. Very friendly and welcoming staff. If you are on a budget and would like a hearty meal of Japanese fusion food prepared perfectly, pop by sushi ness. I’d be ordering in weekly if I lived close enough.

Really good rolls, not a lot of rice like in many places in Inverness, but the perfect amount of every ingredient. We had one California roll and one tempura, both of them delicious 🤤, wery well packed for takeaway. I can't wait to see more ingredients in the menu becautthey know how to do quality sushi!

Great place for the sushi lovers, i have never tried hot sushi before and it was fantastic. They also have a wide range of choices, not just hot rolls. Also a great place if you want to try vegan sushi, or if you have any gluten allergies. Highly recommend!

We tried Sushiness today for the first time and definitely not going to be the last! Amazing, friendly service, you can watch when your food is getting prepared by chef. The place is very clean so is the sushi preparation area. We've ordered a few fried sushies and ordinary one, every single one was absolutely delicious. Great place, I would absolutely recommend it to all sushi lovers 🍣 🤜🤛

I love sushi and have tried different places in the area, and also in bigger cities that count with more restaurants. This one really surprised me because of the innovation and quality of products in the sushi they offer, at a very reasonable price! We got a poke bowl that my gf loved, and a panko fried sushi that was surprisingly good, defo recommended!

We had some really delicious cake and tea. I would definitely recommend the banana chocolate cake and the apple caramel cake. The service was really nice and I would definitely stop there again.

Food was nice and service was, for the most part, friendly. One server seemed to be having a bad day. Brusque and barely civil. Very expensive for what was served.

Lucky to find that dinner was available on one of the nights. The meal was excellent. Extremely well cooked, presented and served. Don't miss the opportunity to eat there if you can. Elaine is a great cook/chef.

Agree with the other reviews. This is an unlikely place to find at the end of the world. We felt welcomed and in the main enjoyed our stay. The only downside was the cost for the 2 of us. £200 for a snack, breakfast, plate of curry and a bunkhouse bed with no shower and a outside toilet seemed breathtaking expensive. To put this into perspective, we go to a nice hotel each year for a winter break, that's more than we pay per day at the hotel with vastly more civilized amenities. I do understand there are logistics involved at Cape wrath. However for an 'ordinary' local Scottish person I'd be looking to stay at sandwood bay and make a lunch trip to the cafe as I simply can't justify the cost/value. However, it is altogether improbably situated and a must experience if you are doing a long walk. Just be prepae your expectations.
