Was recommended James' Curry from a family member. We ordered the Malaysian chicken curry and was completely blown away! It's hard to put into words how incredible it was! James' curry is unique - this is totally different to mindlessly scrolling through countless curry places to just end up with something pretty normal/similar to one another. James' curry has a flavour unlike any other and we will be making this a Friday night go to for sure. Thank you for changing curry night forever!

I actually knew the original James and his legendary curries, which were always marvelous. Hence I was dubious about someone else taking the mantle. I have been proved wrong. The food is first classand the service from Alan came with a big smile. While eating I could imagine Jamrs trying to pick fault. He would have struggled. I will certainly be buying more of this and would encourage others to do the same. Jon D.

Amazingly good curry, full of flavour and tender meat. The broccoli stir fry was superbly cooked , so refreshing and would definitely recommend the meal.

Food was top notch and convenient in that it can be collected in advance then heated when hungry. Malaysian curry, authentic, saucy, and easy to eat, highly recommended and will be back for more.

Had this curry the other night and it was excellent. It wasn’t spicy enough for me but I put some of the chilli powder supplied in prior to heating it up and this suited me just fine. Would definitely recommend it.

Agree with the other reviews. This is an unlikely place to find at the end of the world. We felt welcomed and in the main enjoyed our stay. The only downside was the cost for the 2 of us. £200 for a snack, breakfast, plate of curry and a bunkhouse bed with no shower and a outside toilet seemed breathtaking expensive. To put this into perspective, we go to a nice hotel each year for a winter break, that's more than we pay per day at the hotel with vastly more civilized amenities. I do understand there are logistics involved at Cape wrath. However for an 'ordinary' local Scottish person I'd be looking to stay at sandwood bay and make a lunch trip to the cafe as I simply can't justify the cost/value. However, it is altogether improbably situated and a must experience if you are doing a long walk. Just be prepae your expectations.

Unit a, Grampian Road, Aviemore, HighlandThis Subway has always been great; extremely friendly customer service, great food (sandwiches at other Subway’s are usually a bit burnt) and just an overall friendly Subway. However, since last year, this Subway has been closed; every time we walk by it is always empty, as in lights never on, same drinks left in fridge ect. You know it’s been closed a while when you see COVID guidelines telling you to wear a mask and that it’s mandatory; as well as other posters and such laying all over the floor. When searched on Google, it says “Temporarily closed”, however, it’s been well over a year at this point and it shows no signs of re-opening. We know some of the people who uses to work there and they just said that it’s “closed”. It’s a shame; the Subway should be sold if they don’t want to maintain or open it. Here’s to hoping that we ever see Subway Aviemore open again — I’m hoping 🤞

High Street, Dornoch IV25 3SH ScotlandWent for our breakfast the food was gorgeous 😍 staff were so lovely we took our little pomeranian dog with us they made such a fuss of her and the prices were very good will definitely be back 😊

We stayed at Taigh Ailean for our trip to Skye. We also had the opportunity to eat dinner there (Breakfast was included with our stay.) The dinner was so delicious! The view is lovely as you can see the loch from the windows of the bar. All the staff is fantastic and so friendly! I had a great dinner and I would describe it, but the menu changes to suit what is in season and available from the sea. Whatever you get, I guarantee it will be the best! Make sure you call ahead and get a reservation as it fills up quickly. I know that they also have live music, which would be great, but we didn't have any while we were there.
