This Subway has always been great; extremely friendly customer service, great food (sandwiches at other Subway’s are usually a bit burnt) and just an overall friendly Subway. However, since last year, this Subway has been closed; every time we walk by it is always empty, as in lights never on, same drinks left in fridge ect. You know it’s been closed a while when you see COVID guidelines telling you to wear a mask and that it’s mandatory; as well as other posters and such laying all over the floor. When searched on Google, it says “Temporarily closed”, however, it’s been well over a year at this point and it shows no signs of re-opening. We know some of the people who uses to work there and they just said that it’s “closed”. It’s a shame; the Subway should be sold if they don’t want to maintain or open it. Here’s to hoping that we ever see Subway Aviemore open again — I’m hoping 🤞

A fantastic little place to grab a bite to eat on your travels, as in the title, I've had some bad subways in my time, but this place was fantastic, great service and great food.

One of the best Subways I have been too in a long time! Popped in for a quick bite to eat whilst out and about in Aviemore. Very clean and tidy which is good to see during these times, guidelines adhered too and staff are a credit to the brand. I give praise where praise is due. Good selection on the menu to choose from to suit all tastes. Meal deals are good value. Some of the cafes and restaurants in the area can be a little expensive so for a quick bite to eat it does not cost the earth. Would recommend highly to anyone that is travelling around Aviemore and the surrounding area or making a stop in the town when travelling further North or heading South.

Received the best customer service not only from a subway, but possibly from any fast food restaurant ever. The man who served us could not have been nicer. Making conversation and going out of his way to make sure we had everything we wanted. He even held the door open on the way out! The subway sandwich itself was excellent. The best subway I’ve ever been to. Would recommend.

My husband and I visited Subway Aviemore yesterday, 17th Sept 2020 whilst visiting the area on holiday in our motorhome. My husband is in a wheelchair and we had our 2 Westie dogs with us. Within 2 mins a gentleman from Subway came to assist. He went out of his way to bring a table and 2 chairs outside for us to enjoy the atmosphere, he brought water for the dogs and brought our order to our table. Then if that wasn't enough, he kindly brought 2 choc cookies on the house for my husbands birthday. The gentleman was funny, polite, helpful, friendly and so welcoming. He actually made our day, so thankyou Subway Aviemore, you have a fab team looking after your outlet.

Just popped into this Subway on the way to Edinburgh and was blown away by the customer service. Never have I ever recieved such amazing customer service. I think the gentleman's name was Frank? Havent even tasted the food yet but even if it wasnt good this mans service would more than make up for it!

Served by the most hospitable, friendly and courteous man! Food was excellent but service tops that. We visit Aviemore every year but first time visiting Subway, without doubt we will be back to Subway.

a suprise experience , not what we expected from our subway late lunch. difference was purely down to the quality of staff on work that day, they where simplyy over and above what any subway has ever offered us. subway was very clean ,unusual for these type of outlets, the customer experience was second to none, cant recommend highly enough.

The subway in Aviemore is by far, the best subway in the highlands. Service is as always a delight with a chat as food is prepared in front of you, store visually always looks clean and inviting , whether young or old, this shop deserves it reputation as a family friendly establishment, good work team.

Although it was good for a quick bite, and the staff were lovely, personally for the price I feel aviemore has more to offer.

Myself and my friends just had to come here to say that we’ve been to the most Northernly Subway in the world - little did we know it’s also the best. A rollercoaster of flavour and joy from start to finish - making our way back to Aviemore sooner than expected for our next helping!

My boyfriend and I popped in today and we came out gobsmacked by how amazing the customer service was! An older gentleman served us and he made our day by simply chatting to us.

Frank and his team are friendly, helpful and ask all the right questions so you get the best from your Subway experience. I love their hand made salads which myself and hubby eat at least twice a week, chillies n all! Thanks folks :-)

Amazing wee Subway in the heart of the Highlands.Staff are very helpful and friendly. Restaurant is clean and fresh looking. Food is fresh and delicious, not to mention fantastic value. You can get vegan and gluten options

Subways are what you expect, this one was rather different with interaction and attention to detail, all respectful and done in a speedy but courteous manner, will return.

Que line passed very quickly with courteous staff, clean surroundings and nice service by all. Tables filled up quickly but staff quickly made table available and good for family atmosphere

Myself and my friend visited for lunch one day. Bethanie, the staff member, was very friendly. Food was great. I had the subway salad and they customised the salad to my liking(I hate lettuce). Would visit again

regular fresh food now with gluten free bread options which now means we don't just have to have salad! Really super helpful staff especially the manager who goes out of his way to please the customers, this is the second most important part of a food experience. For the price, and convenience you cannot complain. This is the way things should be!

Visiting aviemore, I was very impressed with the calmness of this subway, other subways please take note, it was busy and que was long but dont let that put you off, super service , from welcome server to older gentleman on the till.

Very very good staff, nothing was too much to ask, good experience. Shop was super clean and busy, the wait was a few minutes but once at front, you where given staffs full attention, it was the service that made this experience memorable

I was visiting Aviemore for the weekend with you family (wife and two children). When we arrived it was very busy with a queue going round the corner. When it was our turn we had ordered sandwiches for the adults and was about to order one of our children, but instead the person who was serving us walked away without asking us if that was everything. By the time we got to the till the young woman put our sandwich on he till and asked if that was everything. I’m asked if we could have a kids pack as the server didn’t ask. So the young man made up the kids pack and made our daughter happy. They both were apologetic to me.

let me be clear the 2 star is not because the surface or food is poor. BUT there are far better options in aviemore for lunch.

Just visited subway in Aviemore on our way home from a week in scotland. We were served by the nicest man i have ever come across named frank. He literally could not do enough for you. The vegan sub and hash browns were delicious. I will definately come here again the next time im up north!

Visited Aviemore subway 3 times in the last year whilst on Holiday, customer service is 2nd to none and Super Frank steals the show every time - possibly the greatest subway employee in the world

When I came to the subway in Aviemore getting something to with my family we were welcomed by a young woman. She was kind and patient when we were trying to get the kids order. When we got our salad we started talking with a older person I think the manager, he is very kind and polite and chatty. While chatting to us this young man helped by taking the table out a bit so we all could sit around it and not being squashed together. He was so kind and helpful guy helping by taking our food to the tables and helping open our kids juices. Kind man. Overall best subway and best customer experience.

While visiting Aviemore we went to Subway to get a takeaway for lunch. The food was the usual Subway standard but the staff were really excellent. Polite, efficient, good sense of humour and interacted very well with the customers - they all deserve praise - never had such good service in a subway. My wife left her purse on the counter while collecting the food and she was hardly out the door before the Subway handed it back to her. Well done Aviemore staff !!

Possibly the greatest Subway on this planet! We went today and were overwhelmed by the service received by Frank and his colleague. We were charmed and blown away with the high customer service standard in which we received. Keep up the outstanding work!

Service was outstanding in Aviemore, we came in with a family of four and they without being asked set up a table for us all to sit at and made us feel very welcome. Food quality was great a defo 5 stars from us!

Made a stop in Aviemore before a long journey down the road. Decided to go to Subway. Once getting into subway we were greeted by Frank, he was so friendly and welcoming to the place. He was so helpful with an allergy that I have and he told me what I can and can’t have. He was so friendly, he was talking away to me and boyfriend whilst getting our order done. Subway has a hidden gem in aviemore in the form of frank. He is simply a delight. Friendly is an understatement. And the sandwich was one of the best I have had. Filled to the brim. Will be going back very soon

I have to admit that as far as Subways go I am a reluctant participant. But my family love them, so I attend! This one in Aviemore is superb. Ok it’s small but the welcome is huge. The food is superbly presented and the there’s Frank! Anyone who has been will know what I mean. He’s hospitable, amusing and efficient. He makes sure you leave with a smile on your face. He makes you feel like your business was appreciated. High street shops with plenty of Franks would not be in decline. Power to your elbow. Thanks for a terrific Subway experience....I’m a convert

Wouldn’t normally write a review for this sort of place but have to commend Frank. We stopped over for a sandwich on our long journey and he was full of conversation and banter with us. First time I’d ever felt I should leave a tip!!

Went in with a family of four, and it's quite a small subway. So no seats, so takeaway, not a problem. We ordered from the menu and this was ok.

Subway is, essentially, Subway. However, the staff here in Aviemore were tremendously friendly, helpful and welcoming.

I am a great believer that the food should always leave the greatest impression when using a food outlet or restaurant, however this is not always the case. Here is an example, however in a good way! I know what to expect from a Subway, hence why I visit them for a good feed on the go, but the service I experienced at this one was something I had never seen in a Subway before. Actually engaging in conversation with the customer while they worked really transformed this from a simple get-food-and-go, to a vivt that saw me leave the shop with a proper smile on my face. Well done Aviemore!

Usual subway offerings freshly made. Friendly and helpful staff. When we were there the staff helpfully told us about an accident on the A9 and we went round it before joining the road for the drive to Gills Bay. That was nice to avoid traffic.

Subways are very standard so you know what you are going to get in terms of food. However, sometimes the service is to fast and the subs are thrown together before you don't get time to think about what you really want. Not here, the staff in this subway were genuinely friendly and took time to listen to what we wanted and made the subs as we wanted them.

Went in by Subway when we arrived to visit shops in Aviemore. Got a late breakfast deal with sausage in a six inch sub roll and coffee. Great deal.

Lunch yesterday with subway was the best I have every had. The young man that had served me was very kind and polite. He was also made the best sandwich I've every had. I highly recommend everyone to go to this subway and try it. You won't be disappointed.

Lunchtime visit we were welcomed by Frank and Lorraine who both excelled in the making of our Subway lunch and banter, we both thoroughly enjoyed our lunch and coffee also made to feel very welcome throughout our lunchtime visit. We will certainly revisit this Subway because the hospitality was more than surpassed by the staff Frank and Lorraine both a credit to Subway.

This chap could teach all others! He is happy, helpful and humourous 😀, and knows how to serve a decent sub. Subway, take note, this man knows how to run the business.

I cannot think of a place I've been to where the customer service is so great! We are always greeted with kindness, conversation and always end up leaving with a smile on our faces and great food. We now make a point of visiting anytime we are in town because of how great the customer service is.

Maybe the title is a little far fetched but I can't think of a time where as a customer I've been treated so well. The first time I came in for a sub I was greeted and met with conversation regarding how I'm enjoying my stay, and 6 months later having said to my girlfriend, 'there's that nice subway'... the moment I got in from the cold and my glasses steamed up the manager (I think) welcomed me with a tissue to help me see. It's service like that that deserves a five star rating :) Thanks to that man and all the staff.

I always enjoy a Subway and the food quality never varies, what does are the staff, cleanliness and atmosphere. Aviemore Subway is very small and can only seat 3 families or group of friends at a time but it has incredibly friendly staff that make everyone feel welcome and special. It is always clean and well maintained. The real bonus is that it gives great discount to groups such as HM Forces and emergency services.

The menu and pricing was standard but the service here was great. The website said they were open til 7. We arrived at 5.30 to find out they were just closing. The guy still served us and let us eat inside and was decent and chatty. Faultless.

I'm not one to normally bother with reviews but I felt compelled to after the highly courteous & friendly service we received at this Subway joint. Hats off to Frank for the great service - arguably the best server I've encountered out of all the Subway and fast food eateries I've ever dined at.

As far as subways go Aviemore subway is by far the best.

Subway salad are the best thing on this menu loaded with so much salad and hot chilli dressing. The chipotle mayo is amazing

It's sometimes hard to write a review in a place like subway. One sandwich should be much the same as another purchased at any other subway. It's just a production line of normally bored looking servers not particularly interested in you or what they are doing.

The staff here go out of their way to help you and do it rush you like other subways. I felt I could take my time to choose what I wanted and the food was excellent.

i had an extremely pleasant visit to subway in avimore. and to top it off, i have had the pleasure of meeting a man named frank. frank is and employee at subway avimore and has treated me and my colleagues with possibly the greatest service possible. every year i come to this subway and frank is non stop making people smile. he never fails to please his customers. frank had a nice conversation with us and was completely happy to do anything that was asked. frank is a friendly man and i will not be satisfied until frank revives a promotion

Me and my friends have been coming to aviemore for the past three years in a row and have always came for a subway where they house the friendliest member of staff I've ever met, his name is frank and his commitment to the chain and to ensuring customer satisfaction is unbelievable. He is genuinely the nicest and friendliest person I've ever met and we've never seen him frown. He says and does everything with a big smile and even gave us free cookies and made a smiley face of ketchup on our subway hahaha. He gave us a wee chat about the champions league final and agreed with us that Juventus are going to win, what a lad. This sexy man always has conversations with us and every other customer in the shop I cannot rate him highly enough, I believe if frank did not work here the franchise would not turn over a profit and he is an integral part of the entire company. If you are to do anything in aviemore you should come and visit this subway if only to see frank alone. Even if you're not hungry or don't like subway come and see this top man as he is guaranteed to brighten your day, week, month, year and life a true inspiration to us all, we love you frank❤️

I obviously eat a lot of Subways, but my experience at this particular resturant last week was the best. The sandwich was obviously great, but it was the way in which the staff, particularly the gentleman who seems to be in charge there, dealt and spoke to us that was genuinely great. Such a nice and genuine guy. The best customer service I've ever had from a "takeaway" service. Great job.

We are a family of Subway lovers and picked up some lunch before heading up the mountain. The service was fantastic. The friendliest, happiest chap ever and unfortunately I cannot remember his name however he was working on the morning of Monday 13th Feb. He also made all of our subs and salads perfectly, just the right amount of everything. He deserves a promotion and pay rise.....

Walking in i noticed the door said "pu" so i went to pull it, sadly it was push, thankfully that was my only bad experience. But i tell you one thing that john is sum boi. He welcomed me with a pleasant smile on his face. The footlong was so peng. I asked for one chicken and boss man blessed it and gave me a third. Overall a great and exciting time i spent at Subway, 10/10 would go again.

Yes its a Subway and I wouldn't usually bother with reviewing, but it has to be said that the staff are top class and made a fast food quick eat a better experience. A credit to the chain.
