The best restaurants serving Indian food in Highland Highlands and Islands

Popped in quite late and opted for the Masala Dosa and an aubergine curry, well they were both absolutely delicious!!! Never tasted anything like it. Staff were welcoming and even cooked for my friends who turned up after the kitchen had officially closed. Couldn’t fault it.

Great choice on menu. Food was excellent and the service 1st class. There were 10 of us and everyone enjoyed there meal. Thankyou

Lovely food and service, very good value for money.

Very poor starter and dessert but mains good and service OK. The onion bargee was awlful-flat and greesy and desserts straight put of rhe freezer but mains OK.

What a great Indian restaurant. We originally come from Birmingham (arguably the curry capital of UK!) and have had MANY a good curry in our time! Great first visit to Chilli Masala in Dingwall. Really good first impressions as you enter the restaurant, spacious, good atmosphere and spotlessly clean. Friendly staff, attentive but not over-bearing. Food was absolutely spot on from poppadums with all the trimmings to start followed by lamb madras, chicken tikka masala, keema rice and naan bread. Everything was well presented, piping hot and delicious! Lovely touch at the end of the meal when it was mentioned that it was my birthday and a bottle of Cobra lager appeared on the table - on the house! Having lived in the Highlands for 3 years now, delighted to have found an Indian restaurant which measures up to our Birmingham friends! Great job guys, thanks, will definitely be back again very soon!

Nous nous sommes arrêtées en passant, j’avais envie d’un cullen skink, j’adore. Le lieu est très beau, le salon, les carrelages, la grande salle à manger, vraiment un petit bijou. Mon cullen skink, n’était pas terrible du tout 😕 très peu de haddock et pas du tout de pomme de terre, il était très liquide. Mon amie a juste pris un dessert. 1 cullen, 1 dessert, 2 café, 1 bouteille d’eau 46 livres… hors de prix !!!

Walked into the tiny Store in staffin on Skye looking for a pork pie and left with the most amazing takeaway curry from Dave the postmaster and his lovely wife!

Pedimos una comida para llevar, puntualmente entregado, gran servicio. El único inconveniente fue la calidad del cordero poco cocido y en su mayoría graso, de hecho, el 70% no era comestible. Muy insatisfecho. Las veces anteriores la comida ha sido excelente. No estoy seguro de si me gustaría otro plato de cordero

Are you sure while you are putting 5 star? Our food was awful. Over priced and terrible. Salmon tikka didn’t gave any pinch of salt I’m sure they forgot to add any. Fried onions just had to eat. Lamb curry , chicken curry was okish but with that price 4 piece of meat and chicken is a joke . We have been to Indian restaurants around Uk so many times. This time it was overrrrrated and bad food at the same time.
