Chilli Masala Restaurant in Highland

Had a couple of really good take aways, picked up and delivery. Tonight was so disappointing to say the least. Delivery guy was lovely. Prompt service by the restaurant. Passanda was not good at all. Thin and watery.

Hands-down the best Indian food that I have ever eaten. Went here on a whim while on holiday, and they were fully booked. Luckily, someone had cancelled and they managed to squeeze us in. 10/10 service 10/10 food. I would be back in a heartbeat!

Ordered a takeaway, collection was very fast. Plenty of meat in the Madras but heat level wasn't as hot as I'd expect and very oily. Overall a good curry and would order again.

Great place to get Indian style food… very delicious and tasty. They are very friendly and explain you the different dishes and consider also possible allergies.

Very friendly and food tasted great. Takeaway was a little too greasy generally, but within the normal range (shame healthier options aren't available). A mushroom dish was ordered but aubergine given instead and sadly, the aubergine was mushed and loaded with oil. However, the madras was excellent (but not as hot as expected) and bombay aloo was perfect. Despite the weaknesses, I would definitely buy from there again.

Both the service & food were top notch - I can highly recommend everything I had! The "Sultani" curry was unusual & I tried it after asking what it was (basically, a spicier "take" on a Chasni) - very, very tasty as a Lamb Tikka. The Chicken Passansa & Balti Chicken Bhuna that we had at the table were superb as well. In short: we'll be back!

Fabulous food and service! Certainly the best curry I have had in the area. I had the a chicken tikka biryani which was superb and the Bangla beer is something you have to have with your meal.

We wanted to go for a meal. Saw a small fish tank with four big fish in the window with one fish swimming up side down in the upper corner... poor fish! We decided not even to go in.

The Chicken tika balti bhuna, beautifully cooked dish with intense flavours. Closest you will get to the best Glasgow curry. The plain nan bread is excellent, light and perfect for dipping.

We had a fantastic meal at Chilli Masala. We chose to come here rather than go to one where we were staying in Inverness and it was worth the 20 minute drive. Food was delicious and one of the best Indians we have had. Facilities were spacious and the staff were probably the best trained staff in customer service that we have experienced. I can’t recommend this place enough. If you are staying in Inverness area, you have to try it.

The best Inidan food I had in my life, nann bread amazing,mansala worth to die for, Indian beer 🍺 🤩waiting staff- world class,unbelievable experience. You have to visit ! Oh and restaurant is so clean, toilets smells of flowers 💐 🥳👏👏👏 Well done 👏

I always think when things go wrong the way an establishment puts it right is a good indication of customer care. Just been in, ordered a takeaway but when I got back one of the meals was missing. Not happy! Telephoned them and they immediately delivered the missing meal, apologised and gave me a free drink. The meal was really nice. Certainly go there again, well done for sorting your mistake (we all make them). One of best Indian meals I have had.

We had a take away from here while in the highlands for jubilee weekend, absolutely loved it so much that we got another takeaway on the 8th of July. Again we were not disappointed we even phoned the restaurant back after we had finished our meal to compliment the chefs on their delicious & tasty food, looking forward to going back

Living in West London all of my life and used to Southall food was not expecting much! The onion bhajis where THE BEST I have ever had, on a starter two tennis ball bhajis freshly made cooked to perfection, main meal portions are pletiful. Friendly service with a smile. This is a must place to visit whist in the area. In fact travel just for the onion bhajis they are worth it.

Easiest 5 stat review for a restaurant. Where to start. My partner and 11 year old son love to eat out. We haven't been for an Indian for years as my son was never so keen. The last few Indian restaurants we have been to were a bit underwhelming as we found everything similar in taste. We had been out kayaking all afternoon and on the way home we were discussing eating out. We couldn't find somewhere we all agreed on so decided to go home. I had a craving for sizzling Indian food so we googled where to eat. Chilli Masala rated 4.7 so thought we'd give it a try. We are all so glad we did as it had restored our taste buds in Indian food. We were all so delighted and cleared all our plates. The service was impeccable and we even heard members of staff laughing which was rare nowadays. We will all definitely return to see if they can retain the fantastic experience we all had. This is a no brainer for Indian food lovers. So much variety and flavour combinations. The price was bang in the money and there was no doubt for the tip which was easily awarded but not expected. Well done to all at Chilli Masala and we so hope that's your usual standards as we WILL be returning that's for sure. Sad thing was that we ate all our food so there was nothing to take home. 😥😥🤣🤣 Starters Onion Bhaji Chicken Chat Tandoori Chicken Main Chicken Patia Chicken Mughlai Tandoori Chicken (my sizzler) Sides Papadums Paratha Chapati Every single piece was faultless. Absolutely amazing food and excellent service

Before Thursday, the 3rd of March, 2022, I'd never been to Dingwall before. I have thoroughly enjoyed my few days here and Chilli Masala has been one of the highlights of my short stay! We visited on Saturday, the 5th of March, 2022 and we hadn't booked, however, unlike other restaurants that we tried before the Chilli Masala, they were able to fit us in at a slightly small table for 3 people. The food was excellent, the staff very welcoming and helpful and the overall atmosphere of the restaurant was superb. If I'm ever in Dingwall again, and I hope to be, I'll definitely visit Chill Masala again! I can also recommend what I had, Chicken Tikka Bengal. A well deserved 10/10 from me!

Had a meal here tonight and is the best Indian food I've had in a long time, the chicken just broke up and was so tender, special new recipe dips were brought for us to try, service by staff was excellent and food was brought out very quickly, if I'm ever passing through again, I'd definitely be back

We had a meal here this evening and it was the best Indian meal I've had to date. Service was excellent, very polite and attentive staff, and excellent value for money. Would not hesitate to eat here again..... definitely recommend trying it.

Service was slow but good once you had their attention. Staff went the extra mile to correct errors with the food and drink orders. Food was average, we ordered a few different dishes - they all tasted very similar and were all super sweet for what I'd expect from an Indian curry. Spice ratings were quite low - we ordered the most spicy dish and it was mild in my opinion. Not overly cheap food, we paid £20 per person without alcoholic beverages.

Das schlechteste Essen, das ich in 11 Tagen Schottland hatte. Keine Ahnung, warum die das Essen so süß machen. Ich hab extra das Hausgericht, das "Chilli Masala Special", genommen. Satt wird man davon, aber das ist auch alles. Das vegetarische Essen, das wir hatten, war leider auch nicht besser, ebenfalls unnötig süß. Und beim Mango-Lassi dasselbe Spiel. Insgesamt leider eine Enttäuschung — auch wenn es mir für den sehr netten und zuvorkommenden Kellner leid tut. Die Fische im Aquarium hätten ebenfalls Besseres verdient.

Really friendly staff and good food

Was expecting a little more based on reviews. Food wasn't very flavourful and not great value. Portion size was ok and service was fine. Had mixed pakora and prawn starters, jaipur chicken and karah lamb for mains. Naan was good though.

I can't recommended this Indian restaurant highly enough. My family and I have eaten in and had takeaways. The food is truly delicious, full of different flavours, always fresh and always beautifully made, I have eaten many curries over the years and experienced many different restaurants, having lived in Manchester for a number of year as well as here and this is definitely one of the best Indian restaurants I have been to . The staff are excellent and very friendly and I can't wait to go back .
