The best restaurants serving Indian food in Scotland

We heard this place changed hands so thought we’d give it a go. Just the same as before. Late delivery but more importantly the curry’s were so bland. Starter was ok but a bit cold. Both curry’s were tasteless. Sorry to say we don’t be ordering again but hopefully they sort themselves out as arbroath needs a good curry house.

Disappointed food not as good as it was n can't get prices right was told my order was £19:80 but when came it was 25:80 no call to say they got it wrong when adding up will not be ordering again 😡

Booked at very short notice after being let down by nearby Crowwood Hotel , what an amazing place , table for 8 of us with no pressure to hurry up and leave the table, in fact no time limit even mentioned , food was amazing , staff lovely to serve us , I will definitely be spending more time and money in here from now on !

Venimos no esperando un buffet, aunque nos ofrecieron a la carta también. Fuimos por el buffet. 1 placa de la calle, todo estaba frío. Muy sabroso pero frío. Segunda visita biryani fresco y otros platos que eran deliciosos ... no estoy seguro de si volvería sin embargo ...

I have never tasted such a vile curry in my life I had a so called chicken tikka masala and my wife had chicken bhuna neither tasted like what it was supposed to taste like I ate 3 mouthful and the rest went in the bin will not be going back

In a small town in Scotland. I was pleasantly surprised , food arrived hot and tasty. The menu is creative and interesting, including classics and specials.

This is a hidden gem for the curry lover well worth a visit or they can deliver this is my second visit and we were not disappointed with the tasty Kurma and the onion bagee all very tasty will be back for more soon.

Not a sit in, however ordered online before the restaurant stopped taking orders. Received a phone call from the restaurant to say they have rejected the order as their driver finished at 9:15 and they have shut off the gas. Earlier than what their website stipulated! I complained to the person on the phone but to no avail I then receive a call back after this to be sworn at by the person on the phone thinking I hadn’t yet picked up. The call was to say they would do the order and that I was to pay for it again since they had rejected the order!

Today i ordered Mushroom bhaji which was no nice no taste nothing just waste of money i spent £18 on ..I ‘ll never order again here..

Excellent and authentic Indian food. The staff was friendly and helpful. Recommended for both locals and tourists.

I loved this place!!! Excellent service and super tasty food. They open until later than other restaurants in the area.

Can’t fault the service the lady was very helpful. However the curry’s were un edible, the chicken tikka masala was like eating jam it was that sweet and the butter chicken was a salty soup. If I could leave 0 stars for the food I would. Also to top it off they charge £7.40 for a pint of dish water beer. Avoid at all costs

Food was very good. Paneer and Chicken biryani you must try. Very tasty Indian food after a while. The host was very welcoming.
