Have always bought my chinese food from here good portions and food delicious

Place is amazing friendly helpful staff food is delicious fresh hot different choices portions reasonable size

Nice,but they have to watch the Satay sauce and sometimes the curry sauce is burnt,stuck to bottom of pan/pot,but apart from that,the food is normally good, but invest in new non stick pans,👍

the lorman is one of the oldest Chinese takeaways in Glasgow. its been going from the mid eighties. Great food. beef curry extra onions & fried rice is my favourite ♥️💯.

Young girl called alannah with make your night when ordering a little munch. Always hitting out with the jokes keeping you entertained and amused. Customer service is top tier and is the best Chinese in the area with the best staff. Would highly recommend. 😁😁

Used to be good but went right downhill. Salt n chilli chips were rotten and asked for a chicken chow mein and received a plain one. When I phoned they said they would give a fresh one but to pay the difference. Aye no bother your mistake but il pay double in fuel to come back and pay difference while the other meals get cold. Won't use again!

Chicken balls weren’t cooked proplery and ordered barbecue ribs and they sent out ribs with gravy poured over the top of them called up to ask for fresh chicken balls and the barbecue ribs “ there’s nothing they can do about the ribs “ this is not what I ordered 🤢 food was binned waste of money and won’t be ordering from this place again

Just ordered £40 pounds with of food foing In bin salt chilli ribs like dogs 🐶 paws could even eat them for pictures to prove also

Favourite takeaway in the north of Glasgow. Had to have a takeaway on a recent visit to Glasgow from Inverness. Can't find anything like it up here!

I have waited over a hour for our food and just phoned up the shop tae be told it hasn't even left yet SHOCK'N Golden City In future

Waited an hour and a half for order chips stone cold had to put curries in microwave will us sky dragon in future just not good enough

Have used this takeaway lots of times in the past , but last night ordered food at 5.30 , was told it would be 25mins , 1 hour later still hadn’t arrived, phoned again and was told another 30 mins, after about 45 mins the food arrived but wasn’t that warm and we had to heat it up ,

Really enjoy food, fresh fast and tasty staff nice and friendly will b back soon

Bought beef curry fried rice , curry sauce has no flavour or spice , very bland and ordered chicken fried rice , which to me is dry and has peas spring onions, it came chicken fried rice and soy sauce nothing else tasteless

Not had a Chinese for a while and really liked Lorman’s and ordered a mixed satay as it normally great, it was bland and taste like a watered down barbecue sauce so disappointed. Hi babe

Usually get Breast of chicken curry, fried rice and chips. The curry was brilliant as always but the chips were undercooked and soggy. Chilli starter box also really nice.

Cracking takeaway reasonably priced too.

The Lorman is a take away only chinese restaurant in Barmulloch, there are a few Chinese take away restaurants in & around the area, but the food is never as good as it is from the Lorman

This is one of the best for taste , value , and delivery time . I have been using the takeaway for many years a d have experienced a few different owners , the latest owners are very accommodating as I am fussy about certain vegetables they are keen to offer you a choice, or will make what you prefer if possible. The staff from the telephone to the delivery are all very pleasant, never had a meal which I could not eat .

My hubby & I enjoyed a tasty Chicken Curry and Beef Chow Mein for our dinner, with sides of fried rice & chips. Good portion sizes. Reasonably priced. Worth a try if in the area.

I find this place very consistent, great ingredients, that authentic chinese taste too they cook sweet and sour chicken balls and rice to how I like them, try well done, they're amazingly light and crispy. Chicken breast in curry is so soft and thinly sliced. Their chicken is very good quality and I'm a really fussy eater. Nothing is ever too much trouble. Definatly my favourite Chinese takeaway in Glasgow, infact I find it nicer than the Amber Regent in town. Wish they'd do a darker thinner satay sauce, that would top it off!
