Chilli Express in Glasgow City

Staff and food delicious every time.

Placed my order for a munchie box , only chicken pakora , arrived with no chicken pakora. When calling to address this I then found a long black hair on a chip. Attached in photo . Was told I will send new box. Didn’t fancy new box as put me off. Was then told I had to take to shop 😂. The reason I got a delivery was because I can’t get out. Was giving a number to send photo to and then agreed to send refund.

IF YOU ORDER FOR COLLECTION FROM THEIR WEBSITE, LEAVE A NOTE WITH THE TIME WRITTEN They apparently can't see the pickup time selected on their own website so my food was made an hour early, was told they would remake it fresh for the right time but I can't shake the feeling that they didn't, doesn't seem as hot as my last order. Usually a banging takeaway, friendly guys but you need to fix your website orders up

Food was bad we barely got anything in it the worker was rude and was telling us to Hurry up

I got the Lamb Desi and the Lamb Saag. Definitely the best Indian take away I've had yet! Very flavorful, meat was moist and tender. I will definitely be going back! *They are cash only*

Great place except they tell you cash only but yet i've gone in and used card many times. Not my fault people don't pay you. Last time i eat here.

Ordered a large chicken kebab with extra sauce, when I got it, it was in a small container and half full. I'm no mathematician but a half full small container surely does not equate to a large portion, also less than half a bag of salad and no extra sauce Terrible service from a terrible work force and nothing offered in order to compensate for the inconvenience. Daylight robbery!. Won't be going near again!.

Got ‘treated’ to a takeaway tonight by my son. Some got pizzas which they enjoyed but my mixed kebab wasn’t nice,very small pieces of tikka,greasy donner and the seekh kebab tasted weird,I ate one bit and left. I don’t recommend this kebab. Delivery was fine.

ordered at half past 8 tonight my order did not come to near enough 20 past 10 my chips were cold and not cooked properly and curry was also cold absolutely shocking service

Ordered two kebabs one mixed and one chicken tikka. The mixed one was ok but the chicken tikka was a slimy mess. Hardly any salad and swimming in a sickly sauce. I ate the pitta because I was hungry, it was soaked too

Ordered donner nachoes Got donner cheese and nachos without No chefs special sauce. No garlic sauce and no jalapeños it was very dry

First time ordering definitely my last. Probably the worst chicken tikka I’ve ever had, it was definitely not fresh the chicken was dry as a bone and all I could taste is cumin, the. Food colouring was everywhere it has dyed everything the chicken touched, the spiced onion were old had no crunch at all was basically onion jam, my daughters chicken kebab was swimming in sauce and I mean swimming I couldn’t see the actual kebab as it was so covered in sauce. Daughters burger was burnt the chips were undercooked, my partners lamb was tough as leather and swimming in grease. Wev just moved to a new house and this was the highest rated Indian in the area on Uber eats makes me wonder what’s wrong with peoples taste buds, wev had to bin everything as it’s honestly inedible, currently waiting on a mother India even though it’s a bit far away as I would rather warm up good food than eat garbage hot food, really disappointed as this cost almost £60😑

Stay away from all the grills and curries if you take your health seriously. It was a big order, cost nearly £60 and all of it except the naan went into the bin. Never again!

I got mushroom pakora was brilliant and also portion was great aswell strongly recommend

Just had Chilli Express Buffet at my cousins 18th tonight and it was absolutely amazing. Everything was fresh,hot and delicious. Highly recommend.

This is one of the best Indian takeaways I've come across . Even the fish in breadcrumbs is real cod which is of the highest quality . I've had lamb bunas lamb curry's in fact just about everything on the menu . It's fresh and tastes beautiful. The best by far and highly recommend

We went in for a meal,, guy behind counter, nice enough, but started charging extra for things you thought you would get with meal , we asked why for xtra charge , he said, it's extra for what you asked for,,, so just said no to the order , and walked away,,, will definitely not be back 😤😤😤

Sorry to say but not the same since been taken over. Usually get the chicken bhuna Karahi, used to be lovely but not the same.

Had ordered Puri chicken spicy and it was tasty. They even accomodated last minute change to their kids menu as per my preference within the same price. Will recommend to friends and anyone looking for tasty indian food.

I stay in west end surrounded by so called great curry houses, however after trying them all, I tried Chilli Express run by owner Raj what a fine person and what fabulous curries! He will make you anything to suite your taste and is committed to providing an excellent customer experience,why not give it a try you will not be disappointed! Ask for your Nan bread well done/ burnt the taste like the curries FABULOUS!

A great curry, I have eaten from here 5 times and every time excellent. The individual curries all have well defined flavours, the Nan is always good and the rice perfectly cooked. I had King prawn Jalandhri King prawn Pardesi boiled rice Garlic Nan delivered for £25

Very good quality food, very pleasant staff, I also made a mistake with my order via Just Eats and they replaced the order free of charge! Awesome service, will definitely go there again! (P.S, they make authentic, high quality tasty parathas)

I bought a large donner kebab box felt very light got home box had more salad than done meat girl served me said it was end of the roll so I just got very little out of meat and more salad than a vegetarians convention don't think I will b back there very dissapointed in that kind of service

Asked for the hottest curry they have ever made as i like them hot and its one of the best curries Ive had.. the heat was there but the taste wasn't lost, would recommend this to anyone who likes their curries...

For starters if you have any queries they who owns the place ismore than happy to help.i come from a Asian family so I'm picky I've and a variety of stuff and I always go back. Any problems the owner is more than happy to solve it. Reasonably priced and always on time.

I ordered a small lamb shashlik kebab and small chicken tikka kebab both no salad and a portion of rice. Got a call to ask me if I knew what was in shashlik. I said I knew but it was no salad I wanted. Said would put a box of salad in. Order was almost 45 mins early. Went to serve it and no lamb shashlik! Was chicken tikka in with the peppers, onions and mushrooms AND chicken tikka kebab had salad.

Food was very hard and dry and ended up in the bin. Very disappointed

It’s awesome food, never had a bad meal! And amazing service! The banter with my kiddies is good fun and it’s always so welcoming, thanks! We stay a few miles away but would always make the journey to this place!

Excellent food - the mixed vegetable Achari was delicious. Great service too. I accidentally ordered two portions of rice as I didn’t realise one comes with the curry. Restaurant phoned right away and offered to swap one rice with chips rather than leave me with too much rice. I really appreciated this - awesome customer service. Will definitely order again!

normally order from here and it’s good but this time the meat was disgusting and I had a sore stomach and food posinin the next day till now

Living close to Chilli Express we have eaten from here regularly however may have to re-consider as twice now the food has been well below par. Just ordered a kids cheese pizza and chips. The pizza seemed to have no base sauce and the cheese burnt. Was pretty much like a cracker with cheese put on top that was then put under the grill. Secondly the chips were 100% reheats. Could tell just looking at them. Not too happy tbh and as you can imagine neither was my 6 year old. Sorry pal.....Turkey dinosaurs and spaghetti hoops it is.

Delieverywas on time and even though I was not in by the time the driver arrived she was patient enouhgh to wait till i arrived.

I usually order from Chilli Express. But this time, the food was cold and the delivery was late about 2 hours!

Very rude phone service. We waited for more than 20 minutes after the delivery time before calling them to be told that the food would be delivered 25 minutes later, without any apology. Totally not acceptable.

Was 1.5 hours late, phoned restaurant and then they told me it would be a further 45 minutes ontop of the 1.5 hours.....terrible....no offer of refund or discount of speedy service....will not use again. Ruined a Saturday night

The curry sauce in the meal deal is dino, good wee kick, no far aff a madras🔥 Chicken in it was cooked nice👌Usually other places add on extra time for delivery but none added here & even 20 minutes early. One of my most highest reviews right here, woald probably order again👍

Second time ordering from Chilli Express and both times the food has been excellent. The burger tasted great and the chips were cooked perfectly, lovely and crispy.

My Tarka dahl was mega hot, i preferred my previous mild dahl, we didn't oreder rice, so that was a bonus. The lamb was phenomenal!

Kebab was delicious and so was the nan my only complaint was that the cheese was off but it's a simple mistake to make and wouldn't stop me from ordering again

ordered a hot n spicy pizza, whoever made it took a massive handful of spiced onions and shoved them all in the middle rather than spreading them over the pizza; so that every time I took a slice, the first bite was a massive shot of spiced onions, ruining an otherwise excellent pizza. extremely fast delivery as usual.

Food was amazing as always, curry could have set a house on fire it was that hot was pretty much to hot to eat I can handle spicy food but fs settle on the spice

Mega spicy madras was just the ticket, lovely mixed kebab wraps and the tikka starter was reaaly good, i seem to have got some free rice as well, canny say better than that

The food came late, but it was hot. The pizza is so large and taste really good, will surely order it again. Please keep in mind to bring salt with the fries next time.

The curry tasted great, however, I found a lump of powdered coconut milk in it. I would expect a take away like this to use actual coconut milk. My pakori were not crispy whatsoever, and my naan was too dry. I was very dissapointed with this.

Delicious pizza, tastes, smells and looks really good. The raita sauce was so good it reminds me of back home. Fast delivery too!
