Jaipur Indian Takeaway in Glasgow City

I get a takeaway once a month and jaipur always lovely main meals. Tonight for £28. Meal for my wife and I was shocking. Large pakora to start mixed, veg chicken, onion rings awful. Dried, chewy, well overdone. Uneatable. One small sauce for a large pakora. Garlic chapatti, greasy and no taste. The boiled rice was fine and the tikka jaipuri chicken so chewy. Very disappointed and certainly doesn't warrant £28. Very poor indeed and all cold. 😞

Got a chicken bhuna king nann it was epic and a vegetable pakora was tasty couldn't fault it,will definitely go back when I visit Glasgow again 😋

The taste of the meat was good but they charge £3 extra for a “large pitta” - then the one that arrives is the same as any supermarket pitta. The £7 shish kebab became £14 with fees and charges and was delivered without any salad or peppers !! The meat was nice but very expensive and poor attention to detail in missing the basics - ruined my meal with no salad or peppers

got the £21 meal deal with lamb madras & a chicken tikka bhuna. The sauces were nice I can't fault them but scarcely any chicken or lamb in the dishes. if not for that I'd give a 5star

Large portion of chips, cheese and spicy chicken was the same size as the regular portion of chips and cheese. Also chicken is not as good as previously now seems to be cubes of chicken.

Usually the food is sooo good from Jaipur. Tonight the food was stone cold and the onion rings were missing from the munchie box. All ended up in the bin as not really something that could be reheated.

Normally the food is great but tonight it's total rubbish especially my husband's kebab, firstly they didn't put salad on it and the meat seems old and dry, not enough sauce. My chips n cheese with spicy chicken is OK but far to much on the top! Disappointing 😞 don't think we'll order again 😕

Too much oil and colour in chana poori. Why would chana be pinky red in colour !

I had clicked on collection as the resaurant is avout 100m from my house only to find out on paying that it was being delivered. I had to pay for delivery I did not need. I would never have food delivered from anywhere I normally walk to.

Great pizza and great value as always

usually really enjoy this place but sadly not tonight . the pizza base was burnt and topping was greasy . curry was far to hot and chips were greasy . poppadoms soggy and pakora to dry .

Nearly an hour late. I ordered a mix kebab. It was more or less a tray of Donner meat with random peppers and all smothered in an overpowering sticky BBQ sauce that I never asked for. Next to no Chicken and no Lamb at all. Salad was like a tablespoon full of onions. A complete waste of my time and nearly £17 of my money. Won’t be using again. The previous owners wouldn’t have dared to serve up that ridiculous excuse for food. Avoid this shop at all costs

Driver apparently ‘got lost’…and delivered cold food (no thermal container) 0ver 20 minutes late - this was over an hour and half after initial order. To make matters worse the app indicated that the food had been delivered 25 minutes earlier.

Some of the worst Indian takeaway food I've ever tried. Soggy pizza,soggy chips. No salad or sauce with kebab. Donner meat looks as though it could kill you. Definitely do not order from this dump.

Hello folks, please don't be misled by the name "Jaipur Takeaways." I ordered the vegetarian aloo gobi and chapati, and I must say, this is not how we prepare food in Jaipur. In fact, it doesn't even taste Indian. The aloo gobi was drenched in oil – a heart attack on a plate. I won't be ordering from here again.

Excellent pakora! My son had the Jalfrezi, my daughter the Korma and we had the Bhuna All were well flavoured, very tasty and with rich sauces Will definitely order from them again

Only thing wrong there was no salad with it but the sauce was there but not seperate that i paid extra for though the food is fantastic

You need to sort your pricing out, I was charged more for extra cheese and stuffed crust that I didn't want in the meal deal and I didn't get my salad that I had to ask for (which I actually did want). Pizza was slightly undercooked, wasn't keen on the lamb (marinade was really sharp/sour tasting and the meat was tough and dry). Naan bread was excellent and driver was perfect.

The food tasted good but cracked a tooth on a piece of rock inside my pakora, no idea how a rock of that size could end up in a piece of pakora, will need to have dental treatment now would have phoned shop but it is now shut.

Got a notification saying my order was the on the way but it didn’t arrive I don’t think I’ll order from here again

We never received our food and called the restaurant. They said they would come back and reheat the food in the microwave which we said we would wait for fresh food. We have been in the whole time and we’re able to take a phone call or knock at the door. Workers in the restaurant were rude and hung up the phone twice when I tried to explain but could not get a word in.

I didn’t receive the food and the people are very very rude on the phone, hang up on me when we called about the food not being delivered!

Cannot differentiate between paneer makhani and butter chicken, no labels, no separate packaging for veg and non veg curries. Curries were too sweet, just too sweet, that we couldn’t eat it. We are very disappointed.

The food from the Jaipur is such high quality and its consistent. Chicken Tikka with lovely tender chicken; high fired but never dry. Fluffy pilau rice, curry sauce (with depth) and flaky paratha. Most importantly the food is delivered hot! Highly recommend.

Got a chicken tikka bhuuna turbo naan and it was amazing! Delivery didn’t take too long and was warm when it arrived. Chicken tikka Bhuna was so tender. Nicest turbo naan I’ve ever tasted defo a 10/10 and will be ordering again!

usually great, ordered cheese on the chips but there was hardly any on them , asked for bbq on chicken tikka burger not even a blob of sauce, although the chicken tikka was nice, usually you get a wee tub of kebab sauce with it , nothing this time, not impressed with my meal tonight, it's like the person making it was really stinjiy with everything compared to my last one , not sure I'll order again 🤔

First time ordering from Jaipur in a while and was sorely disappointed. Food arrived just over an hour late, barely even warm, with soggy poppadoms and missing the nan bread. Portion sizes were mediocre. And as an additional gripe, a korma is no longer available as part of the set meal - tried something else (that we thought was close), but it was too spicy to eat. Ended up leaving most of the order uneaten. Jaipur used to be one of my favourites, but won't be back after this experience.

Order advised delivery 8.10-8.30. Phoned at 8.45 and was told it was "on the way, left 5 minutes ago". Finally arrived at 9.05 without explanation. Unusually poor service from usually excellent takeaway. Food was excellent as always though, and at expected temperature, so worth the extended wait.

I usually get my Indian meal locally in Bearsden, but been disappointed lately. I thought I would try jaipur in Dorchester avenue and I am glad I did, the portions were good and the currys I ordered were very tasty and also the best peshwari nan ever had. I will be ordering from jaipur again. I

Food was cold as it took 1hr 20min to arrive (full 45 min after driver left takeaway. Diet Irn Bru instead of normal)

Again pizza was fantastic never greasy always hot and fresh can never complain. Anyone that has issues clearly doesn’t have tastebuds or common sense. Keep up the great work team.

Nice food and quick delivery, portion size can be very hot or miss though as to wether or not you are still hungry after it.

Order today 17th march even though my calzone was left in the car I’m still happy with the the takeaway the driver is not at fault for forgetting the pizza it happens to the best of us still the best place to order from staff are friendly thanks

It’s annoying when you ask for salad and sauce etc on stuff and it comes dryer than the desert. Genuinely one of the most off putting things. Don’t even want my dinner now

Very tasty. I think my favourite part was the garlic and coriander naan. It was absolutely dripping in garlic butter. Yum.
