I have ordered my food and went to pick it up and it wasn't ready, though i went there after 40 mints, stayed their for another 30 mints and asked them twice and same cheap rude faces with no interest in customers.No apology was given and they just handed over the food as they are giving me a favour. I won't buy from them again, worst customer service.

Ordered the Desi Pizza and it took them 2 hrs to deliver and it was average and cold and nothing special in it, i would never order again.

Taste of the curry was not that great and the naan was too thick and chewy

Absolutely love coming here! Been bringing my family here for years, shared many of our special family occasions at the Village. Food has always been superb and they have always looked after us very well. Keep it up Village!

Went here for dinner with a group of work colleagues. After seeing the mixed reviews I was a bit worried. Have to say no issues whatsoever. Good friendly service, generous portion sizes and food was excellent with just the right level of spice. This wasn't just my opinion but of the group as a whole. My only minor gripe was that as a group of 12 we were seated at a single long table so it's impossible to have a conversation with those at the other end of the table. Otherwise no complaints and we will be back.

Worst customer service especially in take away section, rude staff with no manners and customer service skills.

Rubbish. Waitress spilled 16 of our drinks and smashed it and drink was all over my Eid outfit. I do not recommend this place

I got takeaway and must say one of the worst curries I had, vegetables were off and most unpleasant chicken. It’s disappointing since over the last 10years their food has graduallly gone worse

My fiancé and I stopped here after a recommendation from friends. We weren’t that hungry so we opted for the samosa chaat. I went in to the takeaway part as I didn’t know they had a seating area. Whilst placing my order, the man who served me didn’t even greet me or ask what toppings I wanted with my samosa order. He didn’t even make any conversation. The customer service was appalling. The shop itself was grubby and had dark and gloomy decor. It could do with a lick of paint and a good scrub. The guys in there need to get their marigolds on and get cleaning. 🧽 On a positive note, the samosa was crisp on the outside and had a good amount of filling. The seasoning was on point. However, there wasn’t enough chickpea complementing the samosa. We will not be returning to this take away!

Always consistent, the best curry in Glasgow. Their legendary lunchtime deals have stayed the test of time.

Avoid them at all costs if you are planning a small wedding, engagement or Nikkah event. They are a complete rip-off. They charged almost £50 per person for a small nikkah function (food and place) and the food they served and the quantity of that food were not even worth £10 per person. My guests were literally hungry. Any food that contained meat/chicken was extremely limited in quantity i.e., one small lamb chop for 5 ppl. The way they served the food was embarrassing i.e., food served in steel containers stacked on top of each other, left randomly on the tables. Hardly any waiter came to check if the food was enough or if plates cutlery etc were there. It was a total embarrassment in front of our guests. Made a complaint in writing and verbally to the restaurant and they didn't bother to even get back to us. AVOID THIS PLACE UNLESS YOU WANT TO RUIN YOUR DAY.

I went for the iftari buffet tonight and unfortunately I was very disappointed. Starters were basically all fried. Nothing grilled like chicken tikka etc. Lack of options, full of greasy oil, felt absoloutely horrible after the food. Quality of the starters and mains is very poor, cheap quality for buffets. The dessert options are terrible. Save your money and stay at home if you’re after a curry… Main courses were terrible, lack of meat in the rice, haleem no lamb either, terrible!!

Went here for a family meal and it was a buffet that was on definitely wouldn't recommend it poor choice of food on the buffet had to go for a fish supper after leaving the place

I ordered takeaway from UberEats and the order wasn’t delivered even after an hour. Didn’t even get a proper response when I called the restaurant. The delivery person blamed me for the delay when he arrived. No apologies. Food was okay.

Went here last night and got food poisoning

This review is for takeaway service and not for sit in. The order and collection process needs to be improved drastically. I placed an order at 1912 to be told it'll be ready to collect in 25 mins. I arrived 30 mins later to find out that my order hadn't even been started. Not only that, it's been 25 mins I'm here and still it's not ready. The management should have a look at this and improve it as it's happening constantly. I realise the place is busy but just be honest and say how long it's going to take rather than just lying about it and causing inconvenience.

Excellent customer service by Adam, the manager, who managed our tables very well. We had a large group booking of 38 people. Everyone was very happy with their food & with the customer service. My favourite dish was the lamb biryani. I would highly recommend this place!

Great halal option for families. No alcohol served as well. Food was excellent and so was the service. We especially liked the Sindhi Biryani and lamb karhai. Haleem was not too exciting. Really liked the starters. Mango lassi was another favourite all around the table. Serving time may be improved a bit, especially during busy hours.

Terrible delivery service. Order supposed to arrive at 7pm but didn't actually arrive until 7.45pm! Phoned to complain and given rubbish excuse and the food had not actually left until 7.15pm! Not impressed!

£22!!! For a 12 inch pizza, chicken korma half and half and 3 sauces…absolutely shocking, and korma put in a paper container…this is the last time I’ll be here! My last order 2 weeks ago was 2 small kebabs and chips/curry sauce and came to £17, absolute rip off!

First time to buy from here. Can't fault the food- delicious curry, shish kebab, grilled vegetables, mango Lassi. All the ingredients tasted very fresh. Good sized portions. I'd get from here again

Take away review. Ordered the mixed kebab on a garlic naan at £13 thinking it would be enough to share between two. Disappointing, only 1 piece of lamb tikka and 2 pieces of chicken tikka. The naan was no bigger than a chipati and not worth the money. Forget salad, this came with a garnish. Used to go here all the time and hadn’t visited for a couple of years. Doubt I’ll be back. Food was overly spicy and donner was bland. Did I mention this was £13? 👀

We've been regularly ordering for at least 3 months and have tried a few things on the menu. I have to say, the food is amazing and the pizzas are the best I've ever had. We won't order from any other curry house now. Definitely a 5 star restaurant.

Food is average, potion size doesn't justify the price at all , E.g ordered 2x 1kg karahi , when served found 1kg is not even enough ( is it cannot be 1 kg) . I had to order extra after seeing this. Daal was served fridge cold , i had to ask to warm it please. My total bill was £250, yet it was most embarrassing for infront of guest , as found food too little.

Have not received any food absolute disgrace called restaurant twice. Have taken my money but delivered no food.

Loved the spice and flavours of all the dishes we tried. And the sauce with Gol Gappas had a tangy and enjoyable taste. However if we could increase quantity of main course dishes a bit, that'll be great!

Wow! We came here on recommendation from a cafe owner in the area and it certainly lived up to expectations. We have the Persian grill and the meat was so tender and tasty. Plenty of rice and a small salad with two nice dips to accompany the main dish of grilled meats. The service was lovely and the Resturant was busy, but service was quick. We loved dining here and left with very full bellies

Ordered a biryanis and it was far too spicy couldnt eat it the curry that came with it was like water bland no flavour at all. Also ordered mixed grill same bland curry sauce came from few nights before really disappointed considering the price of the food the food you get always comes different each time must have loads of chefs cooking everything different all the time

The food is amazing from the village always has been. Tasty bhuna, garlic chapati and basmati fried rice. However the person delivering was refusing to bring it to the door and asking me to meeet him to get it. I adv I wouldn’t be doing this as I had paid for delivery not to mention how unsafe that would be. My fiancé ended up speaking to him on the phone and he said he was at the wrong buzzer my fiancé directed him to the buzzer and he had no issues finding it after he spoke with him. Very weir

Ordered through just eat at 1745 ordered arrived 1946 but delivery time was only 45-60 mins so was late! Ordered 1 x chicken korma 1x Indian south masala 1x rice 1 x Nan order came to £38 including delivery fee. Portions got was very small 3 cubes not big in each portion. The sauce was nice though. Over priced which is disappointing as always wanted to try this place to sit in but now put me off for the value for money

Cant fault the place. First time there, quickly seated (had a reservation) and attended too. Food was amazing and fantastic value for what we paid, very reasonable compaired to others. Definetly worth another visit.

Ambience: The restaurant felt more of canteen/hostel style, so wouldn’t recommend for quiet/romantic dinners. There are no side/corner tables so everyone can almost see everyone. Food: Had Veg Biryani, Chilli Paneer, Naan and Paneer Butter Masala. Authentic, tasty, great variety, reasonable prices - ticked all options mostly. However, felt unnecessary usage of food colouring and oil. In curries, you could see a very thin layer of red-coloured oil floating.

The food was amazing Masha Allah, Even though we ordered medium spice it was quite spicy but the flavour was “chefs kiss” The mocktails were very yummy! Unfortunately I can’t upload videos of the food!

I remember this place opening and the kind owner with the moustache. Service has changed, very slow to be seated and for order to be taken. Pakora was excellent as was the dipping sauce. Portion of rice quite small. Nan bread was plentiful although a little greasy. Curry (Garam Masala) was nice to taste, although a bit oily and amount of chicken tikka wasn't very impressive. Bottles of coke £3.50 each I felt was expensive.

Excellent food, made fresh and reasonably priced. Been there many times and cannot fault it. It isn’t a licensed restaurant, their commitment is on the food.

Dreadful experience. I ordered 3 rices only got two,ordered the creamy tikka masala got an ordinary tikka masala. Phoned to question it was told the correct replacement would be sent after an our phoned back as still not received it. Now told they don’t know anything about it, was told they would send one out again but by now it was 9.50 placed order about 7.30. Was asked did I expect my dish to be creamier!! No I expected the correct dish! Asked for refund was told they are unable to give one.

Veg curry was just massive chunks of Indian turnip in a pot of oil. Nan was really soggy and seemed shop bought. Pakora was burnt and delivery was almost an hour late. Really poor!

Nihari = DONT BOTHER. IT WAS NOT nihari AT ALL. Naan = Fresh and decent.
