The best restaurants serving Indian food in Scotland

Have been a few times and is always excellent. The mixed grill is superb. Have tried a few other dishes, sides and naans, all top quality and great value for money. the guys are always friendly and service is spot on. Highly recommended.

Amazing food and excellent service. We were in Bognor for a four day break and our host recommended this place. The food was absolutely gorgeous and I ate everything on my plate which doesn’t happen very often when I go out for a meal. Very buzzing place suitable for all ages and good prices too. It will be even better once they get their alcohol licence.

Fantástica comida del Día de la Madre en familia. Normalmente nos dan una comida para llevar pero decidimos sentarnos para el Día de las Madres. El Himalaya es nuestro restaurante indio favorito desde que nos mudamos del centro de Aberdeen. ¡En mi opinión, uno de los mejores indios de Aberdeen!

very poor portion size, £45 for 1 rice 1 small nann, smashed poppadoms, chicken korma with 6 small bits of chicken, special chicken masala was same but with a dribble of sauce. unless evert takeaway in edinburgh is closed i won't be back. very poor used to rate ronaq very highly but thats now the 2nd takeaway in a couple weeks been same

Excellent meal on Thursday night, 10th April 2025 at Jholpai Indian Fusion in Lanark - I had Jalfrezi lamb, my friend chicken Jalfrezi and my other friend Punjabi lamb - accompanied with vegetable and chicken pakoras, nan bread, mushroom pilau rice and washed down with Kingfisher Beers - the lamb was cooked to perfection and melted away in your mouth - and the restaurant has recently been redecorated and refurnished 😀😀😀

If you want to try something Indian and that too Vegetarian should visit Chaakoo... delicious food and amazing food quality. perfect taste to get desi Indian food. Its just the portion that is a bit lacking. rice portion or naan portion can be increased..

Good food, freshly prepared, large portions and well priced I had take away however their restaurant was clean and the staff were lovely. It was a Sunday evening and it was quite busy with families
