The standard is excellent, genuine authentic food great value, a party for the taste buds. The lamb was so so tender, a great all round experience. Definitely going back there next visit. Also Fast efficient service. Thanks for a memorable evening. See you again soon.

Diarrhea and vomit is all I got from here. We ordered a Korma and a Tikka Masala. Two of the three in my house had the Korma and we both ended up very ill. The garlic Naan was tasty if I am to say any positives.

My brother & I went to Masala Twist for lunch, as soon as we got out the car we could smell the cooking from across the street, it was lovely, wasn’t too busy, food was served quickly, hot & tasted really good, I had a chana dish with pilau rice & plain paratha, all cooked to perfection, my brother had Punjabi Dhal, veg pakora crispy on the outside nice & soft in the middle, would recommend, will be back.

Amazing Naan bread. The flavours of the food was really delicious. Can’t wait to return!! Really enjoyed it. The lunch time menu offer is great value.

As it was mid-January we took a chance and did not book a table. There was plenty of tables available but I imagine in the summer months it will be very popular. The service was outstanding, friendly and attentive. Our pre-dinner drinks arrived without delay and were very reasonably priced as was the food. The food was delicious and I can thoroughly recommend the Railway Lamb Curry. Being a Dhal Makhani fan I ordered this as a side dish and it was probably the best I have tasted in many many years. The Garlic naan was enormous and was enough for three of us.. The kebab Khazani was excellent and again more than sufficient for the three of us. All in all absolutely excellent.

Went for late afternoon visit. The atmosphere gets 3 stars as we were only customers. The staff were welcoming and friendly. The food was well prepared, and the nan was delicious. All told a enjoyable well priced visit.

Good tasty food - consistently. Never a bad meal or disappointed and we've been going since it opened. More recently I'd say service is just ok - not amazing but not bad either. Atmosphere and environment also ok but nothing special. We go for the food basically.

On site it's mentioned they have tea. Actually we loved to have a india tea.and also when we ask about the coffee. We can't have a single coffee without buying a full meal 🤣🤣🤣 really first time I got this experience.Thanks

Had a lunch menu @ £10.95 and it is good value for money, Pakora to start and a lamb buna ( with extra chilli) and huge nan bread ...... lovley food, good portion size, would recommend.

Had the pre theatre two course. Starters haggis panoramic was good as was the spicier than I expected onion bhaji. The main courses were OK, but simply meat submerged in sauce. Generous tasty rice and naan bread as sides.

First visit to this restaurant and had good first impressions. The staff were very friendly and service was very good. The food was excellent and plenty of it. The rice was enough for two but we got one each. Next time we will order one rice and look at the size of the nan bread, more than enough for both of us. The curry itself was delicious and one of the biggest portions of lamb I have had in any Indian restaurant. Loved this place and would definitely recommend for all curry lovers. I will certainly be back for more.

We visited with family for a birthday celebration. Reasonable prices, huge variety of menu choices and everyone happy. We had vegetable pakora, onion bhaji, and haggis pakora to start, lamb biryani, chicken shakuti, chicken tikka masala and tandoori lamb, with rice and the biggest naan bread ever. Not every plate cleared but not from want of trying. Good bet for a curry in Helensburgh!

Excellent lunch time menu catering for all tastes. Haggis Pakora are to die for. For a £10.95 lunch menu it offered something for all tastes. Choice of 3 different Nan Breads, Huge when they arrived. Recommend Garlic and Coriander. I had a Lamb Karhai Boonha, excellent and spiced, so much of it. Somewhere to definitely try.

Great restaurant, visited before. Specific mission was to try the lunchtime mixed Thali special,available 12 noon till 3pm. It was delicious and a snip at £9.95.😊 A year on Thali price is now 10.95. but still great value for the wonderful platter you get. Even better washed down with a cool pint of Kingfisher. Two minutes walk from waterfront. This is a great Indian food experience. Visited again thurs 26th jan 2023. I was served my food first off a large group and they didn't give me my curry sauce to accompany my meal I asked 5 different people for it eventually everyone else was served and still no sauce in the end up I had to take my up to the bar ask them to re heat it and give me my sauce ignorant staff won't be back

Ordered a pick-up evening meal for 4, including one who's not a fan of Indian-style cuisine and 2 who are aficionados. The 4 of us agreed that the quality and quantity of the food were first class. At just over £60 for a multi-course meal for 4, with leftovers, it was excellent value too. The website was easy to order from, and reception from the staff when we went to collect was friendly and efficient. We'll definitely use Masala Twist again (soon).

Absolutely Fabulous !!!...Recommended by friends we travelled almost 90 miles round trip...It was WELL worth it...Staff were courteous..our food was delicious...special mention for the Naan...it was enormous and so tasty...We will be back in the summer for sure......

Masala Twist is best Indian restaurant in Glasgow. They have extensive menu with authentic taste. Their service staff - Ms. Jyoti & Ms. Sukh are thoroughly professional and welcome everyone with warmth. They are asset to Masala Twist. Keep it up Team Masala Twist. I have been there many times and I always enjoy food & service. Will visit again.

First time in and food and service was excellent.

Prices are very expensive and taste is not that good for the price we pay. I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant for any special occasions.

Very good indeed. Not 5 stars as restaurant is laid out like a large canteen. Bright lights and not secluded spaces. Like eating in a school hall Great value and great for groups Not recommended for a special night out Not my type o place - but 4 star for quality

First visit to this branch of Masala Twist chain friendly greeting and quick service. Ordered from set lunch menu £10.95 for 2 courses £1 extra for Chicken Pakora and extra for certain Nans. Food delicious and piping hot portions fine for lunch. Restaurant was busy always a good sign n everyone seemed happy with their food. Drinks prices fine. Only negative were the dirty chair coverings and curry stains on radiator.Both could easily be fixed.Will return next time in area

Had some undercooked chicken in the biryani that was ordered, the naan bread was probably the driest I’ve ever experienced and the pakora was tasteless. Don’t know if it was just a bad night but not risking this again

Had a work lunch and we had the lunchtime special menu. The value for money is fantastic. Portions are very generous and quality of food is fantastic. Definitely recommend

Went here for lunch with my wife and friends my wife and I had the Thali for lunch it is well worth the £11 95 I had the south Indian chilli chicken and my wife and friends had the lamb karahari bhoona and is the best I have tasted in a long time we will definitely be back at some point

Meal was lovely and naan breads are a great size. £2.50 for a can of coke is a bit of a rip off though. Service was a bit slow towards the end even though there were only two other customers in. Would happily return here for a meal when in the Helensburgh area.

The food was absolutely fantastic, the staff were all great and very helpful. The only thing I would suggest is that they gave us new cutlery between our starter and mains as this is the only restaurant I've been in that didn't give me fresh cutlery.

Had a couple of meals from their Dumbarton branch which were lovely. Ordered chicken tikka starter. Was a strange colour, tasted odd and was greasy. Wouldn't eat at this one again.

If you're looking for awesome food at a decent price then Masala Twist is the place to go. I suffer IBS and Coeliac disease and am super sensitive to all types of foods but I never had a single issue here.

Waren während unserer 3 Wochen in Schottland wirklich oft indisch essen - uns Masala Twist mit Abstand am meisten überzeugt. Freundlich und preiswert. Vor allem aber geschmacklich ein echtes Erlebnis und nach all den Jahren indischen Essens mal wieder ein völlig neuer Twist. Absolute Empfehlung.

I had roasted pepper shashlik with chicken and king prawn tandoor which were very well made and very tasty and the curry was great, very good food is the 2nd time in a year when I come! Very good, we will definitely come back

Just had my first takeaway curry from this restaurant. Looking at the 'new updated' menu I thought that the prices were a little toppy. However, the quality and quantity were excellent. The flavour and quality of both the Railway Lamb curry and the Chicken Madras...

While their food might be decent, their attitude is not. I don’t think they appreciate Indians coming to their restaurant. Went with my husband for dinner and was received more coldly than anywhere else in the UK so far. It would have been okay if they didn’t know much about customer service or were not courteous. However what was disheartening was that they attended all other guests (from different nationalities) at their restaurant with much warmth and regularly checked on their experience, while making us feel unwanted during our short stay there for dinner. Even after asking, they didn’t suggest us anything on portions or dishes. When we needed something and raised our hand for attention, they would just look away. So if you are an Indian, you must totally skip this place. There are many options nearby, and even if the food is half good there, at least they will treat you with more respect.

Always greeted with such enthusiasm. Food is always tastey and they are so obliging when requesting food changes with the likes of not overly spicing. Lamb tikka masala is always the best and so fresh everytime 🙂

Terrible service. We ordered the tiramisu which turned out to be ice cream. When we told the staff about it they just dismissed us.

The quality of service changes the entire experience of dining in a restaurant and it was disgusting here. SPOILER ALERT! The tiramisu cup is not tiramisu at all!

By far the best Indian food in the region! I've visited Masala Twist many times, never been disappointed, and always had the most delicious food. The selection is vast, service impeccable, and prices very fair. Favourite by a country mile.
