Found this place during our stay in the island. One of the best coffee's I have tasted in a long while. Also great cakes and friendly staff. Recomended.
Absolutely Love Cafe 11, Hands down the food is of such high quality. Tastes amazing and if I could give more than 5 stars I would. Robert is Lovely and the Cappuccino is one of the best I've had. If you want a good coffee go here.
Everything is freshly made and you can tell by the taste.
The meals are incredible. The food isn't greasy the ingredients you can tell is of high quality and fresh. Cafe 11 if you're in Tain definitely go here for food. I Highly Highly Highly Recommend
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
We popped in here for lunch that we could take away with us. The staff were friendly, service was fast and the coffee and food were really good.
There looked to be seating inside but as it was such a nice day we waited outside for our order.
A great spot for food or coffee, and if we were in the area we'd definitely return!
Everything about this magnificent cafe is astounding - sensational, friendly service; a diverse and delectable menu with a range of tantalising and decadently delicious dishes; expertly brewed coffee and a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. My friends and I feel that this marvel deserves all the respect and recognition in the world - it is truly the best possible start to the day!
Located directly beneath Dumbarton East Train Station - so perfectly situated too x
Situated just outside invergarry on the A837 this is the ideal stop for teas/coffees and snacks. Staffed by volunteers it is open Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday through the summer season. Other days there is a pizza van in the car park. Homely atmosphere with emphasis on freshly cooked food. It is also the heritage centre with information on the locality together with the history. Toilets are housed within the same building which are lovely and clean. No charge but there is a donations box. Wish there were more villages offering the same facilities as Glengarry.
Friendly, welcoming volunteers, and lovely home baking. There was a wide range of cakes, scones, traybakes, shortbread, etc, on offer - we were spoilt for choice.
It's definitely worth a visit and a great way to support the local community.
We popped in today for our first visit and will definitely be back. Nonnina's is in a quirky spot, through a bike workshop, but it is welcoming and cosy. We were fortunate that the pizza oven had warmed up - I had a pizza and my husband had a soup and panini combo. Both freshly made, they arrived piping hot and my pizza, in particular, was delicious. A perfect crispy base with just the right amount of toppings. The owner was very friendly and is obviously very good at what he does. Highly recommended.
Definitely well worth a visit. The food is excellent especially the steak pie and the cheesecake. Value for money and excellent portion sizes. The staff are also very friendly.
Now live near Manchester but every time I visit the area I pop into Stuart's shop in St Andrews.
Top of the agenda are the unbeatable steak pies which are vastly superior to the offerings down South.
I always end up taking several to converts near where I live. They have been enjoyed as far away as the Isle of Man!!
My work colleagues always ask when I'm coming up to Scotland so they can savour the pies that cannot be had down here.
Remember Stuart and his dad from Tayport over 20 years ago.
Definitely the best butcher around with very helpful staff.
This was just down the street from our B & B. Great coffee and sweets! Owner/manager (?) was kind enough to still serve me even after official closing time. (My time clock was not yet adjusted to the time difference and I found myself searching for coffee much later than normal folks) Said a local made the sweets I had a sea salt Carmel Brownie that was divine. If you find yourself in Leith Scotland def stop in!!
