Tucked away on a road in the middle of nowhere really this understated restaurant does a mean Indian. Although the decor and toilets could do with a bit of love and attention the food here was amazing. Fresh tasting, well prepared dishes and lots of trade for both eat in and takeaway meals.
Quite possibly one of the best Indian meals we have had for a while. If ever your this far North, it is well worth a visit.

We hired out Chatters for our wedding and it was the perfect place to host our wedding breakfast.
The meticulous planning of Katie and Rosie was exemplary; they really listened to what we wanted, and catered for every need. Communicative, clear and kind. The service from all of the staff was amazing - glasses never empty, extra portions, and personable conversation. It felt like being welcomed into someone's home.
The food at Chatters is some of the best in the area and all of our guests are still talking about the fantastic meal they had: "One of the best meals of my life" said one! The pudding trolley (a Chatters institution) was fabulous as always, too. The kitchen team are every bit as amazing as the front-of-house team.
We knew the service from the Chatters team would be excellent, so we employed them for our wedding reception at Dunoon Burgh Hall, that same evening, and the transition from location to location was seamless. Our evening buffet food went down a treat, and sustained everyone for the rest of the night.
Our day would not have been what it was, if it wasn't for the team. They are absolutely a 5-star restaurant and dining experience - we'd give them more stars if we could!
Thanks again to Katie, Rosie and the team.

We read about this cafe (somewhere) and thought it warranted a visit. How right we were.
The weather was fine so we were able to sit outdoors to enjoy our frankfurters and fine German lager. The meal was excellent, the lager even better and the service was perfect. Needless to say, we were more than pleased with the whole experience. The menu might be slightly limited but only because the items on offer are so well prepared that less is more. And the service was attentive without being overbearing. A great place for 2 ex-Canadians to take a break from the streets of Nairn.
If you're in the area make sure you find time to visit.
Popped in for lunch when passing. Far better than adequate, lovely soup, good coffee, tempting bakes, pleasant staff, nice ambience, clean toilets, good value.
Wandering around whilst my wife stranded a lunchtime meeting today & dropped upon this gem.
A glass of Portuguese Pinot Noir served at a perfect temperature and a cheese board of exceptional quality made killing time an absolute pleasure.
Nice little menu and could easily spend many hours in here.
Thankyou
Came here for Sunday lunch whilst visiting st Cyrus for the weekend after seeing the reviews of the Sunday roast. Waitress was friendly and the food arrived piping hot and the portions were huge! The roast beef was so good just melted in the mouth. The sticky toffee pudding and custard was so good aswell and all reasonably priced. Would recommended and will be back to try more of the menu when in the area.
On a long drive on a hot sunny day, fortunately we saw the sign for ice-cream and we stopped. We're very glad we did! A good range of flavours and two ( huge) scoops each at very reasonable charge, we were refreshed and on our way. Thank you! Pity we could try a pizza ( or two!)
👍
Some of the best food I've ever had, and I've travelled the world.
Try the prawn bap. It's incredible
We are back on Gigha next summer and heading straight to the Nook.
Me and my partner were on a trip nearby and thought to stop into Kelty for some breakfast and found Ola’s! It’s a lovely little place very clean and professional my partner got the Ola’s tattie stack which he said was amazing! The cake selection was great as well with so many choices! We hope to come back soon!
Skydiver coffee is a hidden gem, the coffee is delicious and home brewed on the Hebrides, the cake and coffee are also fantastic - Skydancer coffee is definitely worth a visit if you are in the area.
