The best place ever! We had an issue with data and the phone didn't work ( problem with different country numbers) and couldn't take the order, but the kitchen chef made it for free. 𫶠Food is Great! Love it.
We visited this lovely little coffee shop on New Years Day. We received a warm welcome from both the staff and the environment.
It's a cosy little shop with a decent amount of comfy seating which ranges from tables and chairs to a big squishy sofa.
The menu consists mainly of (for example) bacon rolls, sandwiches and toasties all served with good quality crisps and coleslaw.
Both of our meals were well presented, arrived really quickly and were delicious; perfect lunch on a snowy day.
There's a good range of teas, coffees and soft drinks available.
The toilets are to the side of the building and are immaculate with lots of "extras" like nice toiletries and obviously regularly checked and maintained.
As it was New Years Day we were offered commentary prosecco/nosecco; which we didn't have but felt it was a really thoughtful touch.
It'd be a great place to take the grandchildren and we noticed that dogs were also welcomed!
We live fairly locally but had never visited before and will definitely be back.
Weâd heard about the Bistro but hadnât visited until one Saturday when we called in hoping to get a late lunch. We had food which was so delicious. Rarely have I enjoyed a meal so much and I am recommending that, if they want to eat the most delicious food, prepared by a skilful chef, assisted by friendly staff and at a price that wonât break the bank, my summer guests need look no further.
I only hope that thereâll be a table left for me!
Well done everyone.

A quick stop off after our tour at the centre. Our wee boy enjoyed his pop dots with chocolate sauce. All OK but not as good as Aviemore. I was queuing at the till point and then people who came along after me got served first, at the ice cream counter. If there is a clear way to queue please put a sign up!

Great stop and wonderful offerings. The clerk went out of his way to take care of us. We loved the ice cream and the cannoli. Don't hesitate to ask for the waffles
Always a lovely welcome.
You can go in for a pastry and coffee at cheap prices, or a more expensive meal.
Owners go out their way to deliver good service, which is why they have repeat customers.
Lasagne recommended with cheese.
A rare gem. âšïž
A hidden gem, tasty food and fab friendly service. Yummy homemade soups, we had the souperb chicken and rice soup and a lovely thick lentil soup. Make sure you have one of the epic meringues too đ
Found this place after a morning of fishing and so glad we did!
Great takeaway set up, super friendly service, cakes clearly made with passion, they were to die for! We couldnât decide which to buy so bought all 4! Was going to save two for later, but they were too good to keep, so ate all 4 with a lush cuppa overlooking the sea - mmmmm delicious!
Thank you for sharing a little slice of happiness with us!
Love this place. Astoundingly good patisserie, great coffee, warm and friendly staff. I usually just pick up cakes to take away, but I had lunch here today - the freshly made lamb shawarma wrap with hummus was delicious with well balanced flavours
Unexpectedly good strong coffee at the Ardmhor ferry terminal on Barra. The sausage and Stornoway black pudding rolls were stuffed full and encased in the lightest flakiest pastry. In addition there was a good selection of cakes. There is an outdoor deck overlooking the Sound of Barra. A hidden gem and definitely worth arriving early for your ferry to Eriskay.
