The best restaurants serving Italian food in Scotland

Serves great kebabs, also does some great fortune telling if you pop in at approx 7pm on the 15th Wednesday of the year. We got our fortune told by a lovely woman (who was also purchasing a Donner Kebab).

Really excellent place for a quick meal with my Dad and son(12), we all really enjoyed our meals, excellently prepared, and delivered with lots of fresh herbs, my son rated the Garlic bread in his top 2 ever! Looking forward to going back soon, and introducing friends and colleagues to this charming restaurant.

I got 2 mixed kebab Pizzas Italian crust unbelievable not one bit of grease soft and fluffy base 10/10

This restaurant has a lovely cosy, authentic, Italian feel with reasonably priced classics on the menu. The pizza that I ordered was delicious and fantastic value. The service was efficient and friendly too without being overbearing and I will definitely be returning next time. I am in Edinburgh!

1 hotdog with a stale bun, 2 bland soups, 2 orange lucozades and 1 raspberry Powerade £18.00. At the Carnoustie links golf course. Thieves! I will not return to the golf course or the town shops.

It's been a couple of years since we have visited here and I was surprised how much the atmosphere has changed. The interior where we were sat was noisy and lacked charm. We were sat at table where a huge stain/spill covered the floor under it. It wasn't a few crumbs but a food spill and several bits scattered at our feet. I had to point this out and the waitress apologised and returned to sweep up the crumbs in haste. The stain was left under our feet. Not good enough. Food was OK and arrived within a decent time span. However, the industrial-like interior meant that noise was amplified and the whole restaurant felt like a fast-food place. Our table was reserved so for the waitress to clear it but leave such a shocking mess on the floor was simply not acceptable. That tells me they were rushing and not paying attention. I doubt I will be going back now.

Thank you for the pasta! Big portion of it, so yummy. Can't wait to order again, very pleased.

Excellent time spent and meal to recommend! Impeccable welcome and thanks to the kind waitress who ran into the street to bring me back my smartphone which I had left on the table.

Staff are very friendly. Restaurant itself is beautiful. The food is outstanding!! The pasta was fresh and delicious and the special of fillet steak was absolutely amazing. Can't wait to go again.

Nice place- the atmosphere is good too- but the food was ok

We had a nice time at Taste of Italy. The pasta with meatballs and tomato sauce were good, the portion are generous, it feels like home. The pizza was delicious. The waiters are nice and welcoming. We would recommend and would go again if it wasn't our last day in the city!
