I had an amazing spicy chicken burger meal, the food was freshly made on the spot. Absolute fantastic reception staff. It was worth every penny.

First of I would like to add for anyone that lives there meat the grill mix kebab or the adana kebab is a must try well recommend item guy second the food is phenomenal and full of flavours and spice and third but not least the guys are such amazing and well mannered individuals who care for there services they provide well done guys .

Have ordered from here a good few times now. Each time the food has been superb. I have had the veggie pizza, chips, vegetable kebab and my partner has had the meat kebab. The pizza is one of the best I have tried, and loved the vegetable kebab too! The portions sizes are generous and so are the prices especially using their own app. They are very accommodating when I have asked for small changes too. I would love if they added hallumi or feta to the vegetable kebab.

Held a function and ordered 3 different types of pizza, chicken pakora, veg pakora and chips from the catering menu Everything was absolutely delicious and arrived exactly at the time I had requested. Would highly recommend for any catering requirements.

After having tried the Pollokshaws branch for a few years, we finally tried the Giffnock one and it didn’t disappoint! Everything is so tasty and the quality of meat is superb. Every takeaway we have had has been consistently good. The guys are also lovely to deal with. Great service.

Really good Indian in Giffnock! We loved the kebab meat, really delicious & lots of it. Really nice ceylonese korma too but on the spicier side! Good portion sizes & great sized Naan bread! We ordered through Mealzo & it was a fast delivery too. Would order again!

Best tasting pizzas in the south side. Could do with some extra meat toppings though so best to request extra when ordering, but even without great value for money, amazing tasty pizzas and I’ve tried a fair few on the menu and the finally great Customer service by the staff

1st time ordering. Can't bear our local eateries gave up a long time ago. Didn't know this was in giffnock until last week ! Food was amazing I'm not the easiest person to please. So this is new for me. Pre booked. Even the naan bread was too hot to touch. Could not believe how hot everything was. Everything pleasantly packaged. One thing.... mint riata. Ease off food colouring and too much mint. Add a little fresh lime zest and more yoghurt. I felt the colour off putting and the overwheming mint would cure any heartburn but not take the heat out of the tikka. Not enough plain yoghurt to do that. But I wouldn't score down on that. Like I say I'm difficult to please. I loved the service and the food. Our new eaterie. Thank you all. 😊

Myself & my partner had an engagement party on Saturday in the Giffnock north club & used Shaheds as our buffet supplier, on the run up to the party the staff were extremely helpful recommending how much food each dish would serve. After booking we were gifted a free sample as a kind gesture, this was our first time trying Shaheds & were pleasantly surprised at how good the food tasted. On the night of the party itself they arrived before our given time to make sure the opening of the buffet ran smoothly. Even though, the portions were larger the taste did not falter each dish was fresh and roasting hot and pizzas were piping hot. The following morning all of our guest were messaging us complimenting the food put out for them which I think is the greatest compliment to Shaheds. I will definitely be using Shaheds in the future. Thanks again :) :)

Always nice and fresh, the family team who run it are good people. I've had multiple things from pizzas to curry's and it's all good. I always do collection in person instead of delivery.

Amazing pizza, burgers and kebabs!! Highly recommended!!!

After a long days work and the only thing that was getting you through your day was going home to a lovely Kebab/pizza. However, this turned out not to be the case. The food arrived after well over an hour and it was cold and items had been missed. The food looked decent but thats about it, it was tasteless and the lamb was rock solid. Food was greasy and actually bin worthy. Anyway, i called to complain about the missing items and to advise the pizza, curry and nan bread was not even warm, it was cold! and spoke to an extremely rude individual who blamed his driver and told me to stop wasting his time. I spent a lot of money on my food and it was so disappointing. From the food right to the customer service. He then hung up on me and said he couldn't do anything. It gets worse, much to my disgust i ate the food as i paid for it and regret it as the next day i had to sit on the toilet for most of the morning. it went through me like you cant imagine. safe to say i wont be ordering from this place again - not good.

Ordered a assortment of burgers from the new menu with a few friends and each of us really enjoyed our food. It was fresh and still warm once we started it eating it around ten minutes later. the options to add extras are simple and easy to do on the website. Fantastic service and would highly recommend. Shaheds has been in area for some time now and its clear to see why as their food is excellent.

This is a restaurant I have praised highly in the past, and so it feel strange to be going the other way now. We arrived very upbeat, as it was a significant birthday for one of our group of 5. My partner was approached by a waitress and we gave our name and booking time. Obviously there was an issue, as we could see discussions being had re our group ( we were 5 mins early to be completely fair ) . A gentleman who we presume was the manager approached us and said our table wasn't ready, as we were early by 15 mins, so we would have to wait till the present occupiers of our allocated table finished. My partner very evenly stated that she believed that actually we were on time but obviously would wait. The chap then turned with out a word and went back to check his booking system. We had been just inside the doorway of this restaurant for 5/6 mins, and people had to squeeze past more than once. Not great in covid times. The chap then returned still thinking his times were correct but my partner had her confirmation email confirming we were correct. Just give me a minute and off he went. Had he not been practically accusing us of an error on our arrival, we would not have expected or been due a pleasant" our mistake, sorry, but don't worry we will get you seated as soon as possible " from him. However we were left with an unfortunate feeling that he wasn't bothered and no apology was offered. Not to worry we decided we wi make the most of it. We got seated at a table that was really for four, and my son was constantly checking he wasn't going backwards as he would have been off down the stairs behind him. He did have 8-10 inches or so spare, so I guess that's OK ? I didn't think so, but after the off hand attitude seen earlier, I was urged by our party not to make waves and enquire how a booking made a decent time ahead was shoehorned into a table which wasn't appropriate for our number, with one seat " tacked " onto the end. Please remember we still had covid sanctions in place and it wasn't exactly rammed. So too the food, always up there with the best in the past, but to be honest I personally wasn't impressed, others un the group said it was fine and I'm not going to guess if it was fine "acceptable" , or fine " that was really good " so it's not fair to guess. The only small issue was that they hot 3 out of 5 meals wrong, and at this stage we were actually enjoying it along a what blooper next vibe. I chose half and half pizza/pasta with another and the pasta that came was wrong for us both. My son then expected his pasta meal to be my missing one, but nope, he got a wrong meal too. I ground the pizza excellent, but my sons " wrong " meal was slow coming out, and was half done by that time, as mine wasn't overly hot at all. Our waitress did her is everything OK check, bit by that time we decided to keep what we had, as we actually were getting close to being late for the next part of our night. Something was deducted from the bill because of the errors, and we were certainly offered the opportunity to have our meals replaced correctly, but as everyone knows, it's a nice offer but folks end up way out of sequence, and the dining experience is never the same when your all eating and finishing at diff times. At this point the manager of a good restuarant ( or a good manager of a restaurant) would normally ) assume the lead roll and we all move on. Not our fellow who seemed pretty much stuck at the end of the bar/service area most of our visit. So basically our waitress who was lovely had to field and reply to the errors. The rest of our time passed absolutely fine, but on leaving our night was summed up by the disinterest of aforementioned manager as we left, and whilst only 4 feet away from him it took till my 3rd " thanks and goodnight " comment for him to actually look up and reply. As a single moment that would be fine, but as the boss of any establishment where clients haven't had the best experience, he should in my opinion and just that, he should have seen us to the door with " thank you for coming, please come again so we can show you this isn't our norm ". Anything along these lines would have been welcomed, and has been given in many establishments over the years to me, my friends and peers, and that's it dealt with professionally. As we all know how easy things can slip in the food trade. His air of " I'd rather be somewhere else " which we agreed to a man was the best description certainly doesn't encourage a hasty return. In closing, they've reduced the menu " lots " and choices could be limited for some. I wouldn't choose here again myself now, but due to its previous excellence, if I'm outvoted I'd not worry going back, just not look forward to it like I have done the 20+ times I have done before.

Tried a few new dishes tonight. Buffalo chicken wings, paneer tikka kebab, chicken tikka loaded fries...... all 3 were very tasty, the buffalo sauce was amazing!!! 1st time ordering online, it was really straight forward and glad I did to find the above new additions to the menu. Always 5/5 for tasty food and customer service. 👏👏👏🥇🏅

Ordered the macaroni cheese expecting a really tasty meal since it was just under £10 for delivery. Disappointed is an understatement, cheese sauce was bland and ‘al dente’ was more like hard. I would rather have been served a packet version from a supermarket, Never again.

Great dinner from Andiamo on Saturday delivered to our door. Was advised it would take over an hour when ordering but came within 45 minutes. Food hot and ready to go and excellent portions. Will definitely use again.

Visited Andiamo tonight with my friend was surprised how busy it was for a wednesday. Food was amazing well cooked and presented. Had the 3 course early dinner menu ..good value..will certainly be back and recommend to others

My friends and I had a lovely meal here. The atmosphere was lovely and relaxing. We had the three course meal from the festive menu. It was fantastic. The tiramisu is to die for. The price was good too. I would recommend it. I'll be returning soon.

Portions are pretty tiny and also have decided to take the drink out of the meal deals. WTF.

My wife and I have been going to Andiamo for 16years, nothing has changed,the food is great the prices are great the staff and service great warm and cosy in the winter air con in the summer .family friendly fantastic menu kids menu half portions on the pasta dishes just wonderful we have been to their Hamilton and Milngavie restaurants also this is the place to be.Macca

Went out for dinner with husband and another couple. Seated quickly by a pleasant server, drinks order taken straight away and brought out promptly. Menu was of a vast choice and a selection of specials. 2 of our party opted for mussels marinara starter, a pate and the calamari all starters were beautiful. A short wait for main courses, my husband had ordered the T bone of the special and this was cooked to perfection and was melt in the mouth. I had the mushroom stroganoff again which was stunning. The other two in our party had chicken pasta and they both said it was lovely. We were all too full for dessert which we would of loved to try. I can say 100% next time we are in Glasgow we will come here only wish this was in Edinburgh. Thank you for a great meal.

This restaurant is always a must every time I travel to Glasgow. The penne arrabiata with chicken is cooked to perfection, definatly one that I would recommend, pasta cooked just right, so so tasty, perfect italian taste, not forgetting the olives as sides.. great little place, staff so friendly and attentive to your needs,clean restaurant,parking available on side streets..prices very reasonable and decent filling portion sizes.. would recommend..

I've been to Andiamo four times now. The food is very good Italian with some notable appetizers. The service was excellent each time I went--very attentive, but with the usual Scottish tendency to leave the diners alone if they so wished. It was easy to flag waitstaff for extra water, more wine, more bread, another fork, the bill, but no one was hanging over us.The food is good. I've had a variety of classic Italian fare--this last visit I had Penne alla Carne--listed as "very spicy." Not to someone who grew up on spicy Mexican or hot Indian food. It was still delicious.What was quite spicy was the Gamberoni Picante--a dish of prawns (Shrimp to us Americans) in a spicy tomato sauce. Yum!The charcuterie board (Grand Selection Plank) offered considerable antipasto variety of excellent Italian cured meats, cheeses, and marinated vegetables such as peppers, mushrooms, and artichoke heart. My daughter and I split the appetizer version of the Gamberoni Picante and the Grand Selection Plank for lunch and were quite satisfied. When we went back for a full dinner with the whole family, we ordered the same for the table. Raves all around.

I was looking for somewhere to take my daughter out for a nice meal, we both love Italian but I wanted to try somewhere different. I decided on Andiamo because I haven't been here before and it's only one train stop from Thornliebank. I booked our table for 4pm on Friday 27 September, for the early dinner set menu. We were greeted by a very friendly man with glasses, who was our waiter and shown to our table, we arrived 10 minutes early and were given the set lunch menu, wasn't bothered because everything on it sounded delicious. We ordered minestrone soup for starters which came with 3 slices of bread and butter, rigatoni and chicken arrabbiata and cheesy penne with broccoli for mains, meringue with ice cream and berries for dessert, and soda water/lime for drinks. All I can say is, everything we had to eat was absolutely delicious and very good portion size for a set menu. Also we ordered cheesy garlic bread to come with our mains, the waiter forgot to bring it at the same time our mains were served and told us no charge (we only waited a couple of minutes if that), and when the bill came, we weren't charged for it but we paid for it anyway on top of his tip, it was a lovely gesture by him but he was so nice a friendly and food was amazing, we only waited a couple of minutes. A 3 course meal for £13.95 plus drinks, fantastic! Will be back and Andiamo is in my favourite list of Italian restaurants.

Buscando un lugar en la zona para comer nos decidimos por andiamo. Estaba tranquilo por lo que conseguir una mesa fue muy fácil. Menú de almuerzo de dos platos para 11. 95 parecía razonable y las opciones eran buenas. La sopa de minestrone y el paté para comenzar no decepcionaron. Penne arribiatta y risotto eran muy sabrosos. Porciones de buen tamaño también. El personal es muy amable y eficiente. Las bebidas son bastante caras. . . . poco menos de 6. 00 para una cerveza de barril, pero probablemente sea comparable a otros restaurantes de la zona, ¡y no me impedirá volver! ! Recomiendo encarecidamente este lugar si estás en la zona.

Tenga cuidado si pide un café americano y pide leche a un lado. . . . . ¡se te cobrará 25 p por la leche! Nunca me han pedido que pague la leche en ningún lado. . . . . . ¡De que va todo eso!

Después de haber tenido varias visitas excelentes en el pasado, me decepcionó una visita reciente a primera hora de la noche, cuando era evidente que el restaurante no tenía el personal adecuado. En el trato, uno de los camareros apestaba a cigarrillos y claramente había tratado de disfrazar el hecho utilizando una poderosa y barata afeitada para después del afeitado. Estos hechos resultaron en una desventaja para una comida que de otro modo sería agradable.

You ,ight need to consider a reservation to this bustling Restaurant but even if you have to wait, have a glass of wine and wait. The Filet Mignon and Cheeses and assortment board is amazing as well as the Pasta Dishes. A YES for me!

Got charged £15 for a mixed kebab with 2 bits of chicken,2 bits of lamb and hand full of donner,phoned to complain and to pick it back up and was told to bring it back myself wouldn't get refund,then ended up with police at my door! Stay away from this rip off merchant better value and taste with a chicken nugget happy meal!

If I could rate this as 0 star I would, bought chips and lamb donner kebab. Went in the afternoon and although the young guy at the counter was pleasant I can honestly say the lamb donner was disgusting it looked and tasted awful, my friend who is the food business advised me that the lamb donner was left for some considerable time in boiled water a trick to keep it warm. Will not be going back to this place I have been to some minging takeaways in glasgow but this is by far the worst and the prices and food elsewhere are better.

A very popular restaurant which means an early booking is the best way to guarantee a table!

Went for the advertised Father’s Day menu booked for 5pm only to be told the menu finished at 5 nothing to say this on the advertwe felt the food was not so fresh strong smell from the seafood and an over cooked steak and warm beer was very disappointing however the seafood and steak were taken off the menu which I suppose was warranted all in all sorry we won’t be back.

Very much enjoyed the dijon mustard stuffed mushrooms and sea bass off the lunch menu. Both excellent quality and value for money. Very pleasant and attentive staff. I look forward to returning.

Not having visited for several years, we decided to give Andiamos a try last Friday after some pre-dinner drinks next door. We made the right call! The food was fresh and presented beautifully and the service was perfect! Can't believe we have been missing out for all these years! We will be back very soon!

Rude and inept. We paid the bill to be presented with another bill as the first was, apparently, incorrect. We pointed out mistakes on this second bill to be told loudly and in front of other diners to just pay as this was our bill and we owed money. Nothing on this second bill was correct and we pointed to waiting staff who could agree what we were served. Again we were loudly told just to pay. The situation could have been easily avoided. Never again. Pathetic. Best avoided.

Visited today for lunch and was delighted with our service. My daughter thought her chicken was slightly undercooked, this was taken away and immediately replaced, no further complaints. The other dishes were all delicious and well presented. We had some soft drinks and a couple of hot drinks at the end of the lunch - the manager came with our bill and, unprompted, explained that we would not be charged for any of our drinks as a result of the return of the chicked dish. My daugher had not made any fuss about her lunch, no need as the staff dealt with it at once. This is such a well run restaurant.

Visited Andiamo this evening my friends. The service was excellent, very friendly, we all had super meals, and all dishes were beautifully cooked. I had some left-over mushroom pasta and focaccia. The owner offered to put this in a takeaway box, which I thought was a lovely gesture.

Visited today for lunch. Excellent choice including the children's menu. Lovely steak ciabatta. Very friendly service.

Visité para una cena temprana a las 4: 20 pm un sábado sin reserva, seguramente a esa hora no debería ser un problema. El primer caballero que nos recibió nos pasó a otro (asumimos que era Gerente) que simplemente nos mostró una mesa y anunció que la necesitaría para las 6 pm. No es una forma muy agradable de ser recibido. ¡No puedo creer que con el tamaño del establecimiento que todas las tablas serían necesarias para 6! Sin embargo, no nos molestamos en este punto, ya que 1 hora y 40 minutos no debería haber sido un problema. El servicio desde entonces hasta que terminamos nuestro plato principal era aceptable.

Disfrutamos de un almuerzo muy agradable y generoso servido por un personal amable. El menú del almuerzo era barato a las 10. 95 para dos cursos y 12. 95 por tres. La comida se preparó con destreza (pasta al dente) y con porciones generosas. Completamente agradable en un lugar agradable.

Necesidad de mejorar el servicio. 50 minutos para el arranque no es bueno, especialmente con los niños en la fiesta. El lugar no estaba ocupado y contaba con suficiente personal, pero no parecían interesados en el cliente. Tal vez se vea afectado por los pedidos de entrega, por lo que, obviamente, tienen prioridades erróneas para los clientes.

Six of us booked for here tonight, set menu because it’s Christmas time. Have to admit I was slightly dubious, normally set menus are quite bland. Not this one though, superb choice, all of us had three courses, every one was hot, tasty and beautifully presented. We will definitely be back. Well done to all ar Andiamos. Thank you. X

Where do i start I ordered a Mix bbq chicken n Donner with Nan bread, worth £8- CAME HOME , and the mrs opened the bag , and revealing the food which was wrapped in paper , when checking we noticed how small where the portion size and had to look for chicken amongst the salad which was so hard and smelling , the Donner looked as if was last nites left over , it was salad everywhere , so we phoned to complain , and how appalling and rude was there customer service , blaming it on us, not once they admitted there mistake instead they were getting cheecky at us n shouting , SHAHEEDS GIFFNOCK should learn how to speak to customers and treat them right no matter what , the guy did not listen and was blaming us , what blaming us for paying £8 for a load of tasteless food , If you want to be treated with disrespect then go to SHAEEDS GIFFNOCK , shocking one of the unhygienic food and preparation i have ever seen , there BOSS should teach them customer service , this will also go on trip adviser , Dont waste ur money at SHAEEDS .... AVOID... THEY GIVE LEFT OVERS

My goodness this venue is a must. Staff, service, food excellent. Many a good lunch had here. Highly recommend
