Toni's Pizzeria in East Renfrewshire

Ordered at 1730, delivery was set for 1800. I'm less than 10 minutes away. Called at 1830, they told me it was on the way. Called at 1900 to cancel as they said there was some kind of mix up and they never received the order. Won't be ordering from here again and still waiting for a refund of £35.

Sat in for a 12 pizza for 11 quid. Came quickly and tasted great. Much better value than delivery which can take some time Would sit in again

Ordered a pizza online to collect , time we got home (10 mins max) it was freezing cold . I’m not expecting it to be roasting hot as it was a 10 minute drive but to be freezing cold is a massive let down . I think if my son wasn’t mad about pizza I would have put it in the bin . I don’t think we’ll be visiting again in the near future

Wanted to try here for ages, but I was really disappointed. Food came cold and had barely any toppings. Dip was watery and bland and pizza had very little flavour. Not worth the wait. So incredibly disappointing. Update: I have sent you a message on Messenger and Instagram so we can attempt to rectify this.

Toni's will be hard to beat. The level of professionalism and passion is unmatched. The menu has a great verity and everything is cooked fresh to order on the premises. Toni and his team are absolutely amazing aswell, such a friendly family atmosphere ❤️

Best pizza in Glasgow. My go-to everytime! Staff are amazing, so friendly and welcoming in the store and on the phone, even though they are always really busy they don't fault on service. Pizzas are amazing, as are focaccias! All round great!

Toni’s Pizzeria is just fantastic! There is such an extensive menu to choose from. You definitely need to order more than just pizza when you go 😍 the mozzarella fritti were absolutely fabulous - the breadcrumb on them - wow. Toni and the team are so friendly! Guys have got pizza and pasta down to a T 🤩 🤌🍕🍝 (Invite) First of all staff were the BEST there is something really good going with a company when all the staff are friendly, hospitable and down for a laugh/chat! Then.the.food. HOLY FOCACCIA. 🥖 🍕 I got the chefs special burrata, hot honey and pepperoni and it went SO WELL but it took me a good day and a half of looking at the menu & insta and 10 mins in the shop to decide what I was actually going to eat 🤣 The pizza base was thin, but crisp, held the hot honey VERY WELL and the crust had a good soft crunch IYKYK. 🍝 Pasta, blew me away I went for a chicken Alfredo and garlicky and creamy and just delicious 🧀 Mozzarella sticks absolutely phenomenal, who doesn’t love a cheese pull 🥰🥹 🧀 Portion sizes for the price are extremely reasonable as well and they have mid week deals, 2-4 Tuesdays and lunch deals so there’s everything to suit a budget too! 🙌🙌 The holy cannoli were fabulous as well - you always have room for a small sweet at the end 😉 these bite sized pieces of goodness were nommy! I visited Toni’s for the first time last night and it won’t be the last.. I think I found my death row meal in between some class scrans Toni and the team are amazing as well we were lucky to miss the rush on the two for Tuesdays deal! Pizzas where amazing, the sides delightful not to mention the absolute star of the show for me the spicy chicken mac absolutely STUNNIN Thanks Toni for an amazing meal, you really are king of giffnock food scene Already can’t wait to be back!

We have visited many take aways over the years and very little have been as friendly and as welcoming as Toni’s, freshly made food and tasted delicious.. would highly recommend..especially the pizza/pasta & hot cookies and Nutella dip!

Went to pick up my order and when I arrived home the chips and chicken order was wrong as it included caujan fries when not requested! This has happened before. Place can’t get orders right.

Ordered a pizza online on Saturday night for collection. Pizza was cold and toppings were sparse. First and last time will be using Toni's. Had the potential to be really good as base was excellent quality, toppings were fresh and tasty, just not enough of them and no excuses for a pizza that is cold on collection.

Went here for a quick lunch sit in. We got 2 pastas and a pizza to share. The menu is quite big so was difficult to choose because i wanted to have everything! Food arrived quickly and staff were excellent too. Was very delicious and we finished it all 👌

I’ve had Toni’s several times before when it was in the west end and generally the pizza is good. I ordered a delivery pizza for myself today. It took an hour to come and arrived cold. I stay a five minute drive away so it’s difficult to justify. Not happy

This is a business that appears to concentrate on take away but we decided to sit at one of two tables outside. There are a couple of tables inside also. Staff were friendly and the menu was varied with many non pizza choices. When our order was ready, we had to pick it up in boxes and take it to the table. Drinks had to be taken from the bottle/can although straws were provided when asked for. No cutlery was provided and no napkins were offered. Both would have enhanced the occasion. The pizzas ordered were delicious and Toni's Special had loads of topping so that made up for the minor shortcomings.

Pizza was over-cooked and very dry. Wife couldn’t get her teeth through the crust. Usually top notch. Not this time ☹️

Ordered two pizzas for home delivery. Both pizzas had almost no cheese on them. Miserable, Won’t be back!

Food normally good but waited 50 minutes for collection, food not hot and no dips included. This is the 3rd time had too long of a wait. Not really worth it as food as good as it used to be.

Toni’s is the best pizza in Glasgow, hands down. I can’t recommend the pizzas enough. They are my go to for pizza & they have brilliant meal deals too including 2 for Tuesdays. I’m a huge fan of the chicken strips with the garlic mayo, and the Alfredo pizza as well. Lovely staff & such a friendly delivery driver! I’ve not once had a bad experience yet, and I’ve ordered from them…. A lot!

Called after waiting 90 minutes for delivery and was told it had just left - no apology. Waited another 40 minutes (total wait 2hr 10m) and the pizza and fries arrived stone cold with burnt crusts. I'd tipped via the website too. Emailed the following morning to advise of the above and have had no response. 2nd time this has happened. Won't order again.

Not good. Burnt polo fritto, salty origonal mac fries. And very pricey for what i ordered. Used to be amazing, now just your crappy takeaway.

Great pizza, great value! We got the midweek special which came with 2 chips and 2 drinks. Everything was excellent-really tasty pizza and generous portions of chips. The staff were very friendly and efficient. I personally found the website ordering system a bit confusing so I phoned and they could not have been more helpful. Will definitely be back!!

Collected pre-ordered pizza and was home in 5 minutes. The pizza was lukewarm and had to be put in our home oven to heat it up. Additionally I would also point out it was very sparsely populated with the chicken topping. I should point out that I have previously used Tonys and it was good. Not so good this time.

Very authentic Italian pizza. I always order the vegan plant eater which is absolutely delicious! Staff very pleasant also.

My bf ordered our pizzas online direct from your website at around 6pm to collect at 7.30pm, mine was a gluten free base which I was able to select no problem. He just turned up to collect pizzas be told there is no gluten free base but nobody had time to phone and let us know. Pretty much ruined our dinner plans. We have ordered from Toni's a few times, one time they forgot to pack one of our pizzas on delivery but we never complained as these things happen and we really enjoy the pizzas. However tonight's service was just unacceptable and as we paid online I really hope they will "have time" to process our refund. Will definitely not be back again unfortunately.

A generous 4 stars for a pretty average pizza. £16 for a large pizza with an incredibly small amount of toppings and slightly undercooked base. Would be 3 stars but my wife's pizza was slightly more generous with the toppings.

25 mins late and still waiting. You do realise it’s winter, change your wait time if you can’t keep up with the orders, you can’t have people standing outside. I have heard three times staff shouting I need a chicken Alfredo since I have been waiting…. Which is what I’ve ordered. Plenty of staff, what’s the issue? Love pizza but your far from unique. To add pizza is stone cold, I assume the pizza was ready and sitting for the 25 mins until pasta was made…Trattoria 47 for me from now on

Pre-ordered 3 pizzas for a bunch of hungry wee boys for a 5pm delivery today. Arrived bang on time and was wolfed down in no time. Everyone thought they were delicious. Our new favourite pizza place!

Ordered a Toni’s last night while watching the football and was left underwhelmed and disappointed. The spicy chicken pizza had a really unusual taste and just wasn’t enjoyable. The create your own pizza we ordered had no burrata, despite it being requested on the pizza. Maybe it was a busy night and they were being slammed with orders 🤷🏼 Overall it’s a pity as I’ve normally found it to be a good pizzeria. Time to try somewhere else next time around.

My son ordered pizzas tonight from the Giffnock outlet but unfortunately nearly swallowed a 1 inch bit of plastic that was embedded in his pizza. Tried calling the store to complain but it had closed.. couldn't even leave a message or email either. Ended up throwing the pizza out . Not impressed

Got the dough balls with spicy chicken have had them a few times before was looking forward to eating them till I opened the box they where so small had tiny bit of chicken in them few only had the sauce no chicken was so disappointed what I got paid £7 for 5 small dough balls will not be back again

First time I’ve been for a couple of years. Always remember the place for having amazing pizzas. Well it didn’t disappoint. Still the best pizza I’ve ever had. Won’t be leaving it as long till the next time.

Pizzas were great, was disappointed with the Mexican Fries tho, chips were undercooked, and the toppings weren't great, didn't seem to have that Mexican flavour, plus they forgot the cheese. Would be back again for the Pizza tho.

Best pizza, the crust is almost like a nan bread but very light and crispy …… would definitely recommend ….. wow

Had much better Pizza scares toppings Ham / Mushroom

I ordered 16" Ham and mushroom pizza and wife ordered chicken parmesan pasta. When delivered, both were cold and bland to be honest. Son swears by it. No sauce on pizza, or it never seemed like there was. Disappointing. Wont be ordering again.

Always so friendly when they deliver & great pizza. Always hot, great pizza base & nice toppings. As a veggie I love it! The pasta is good but not my fave.

Placed an order via their app (which took much longer than it should have as the app's selection functionality is awful) and when I got home, I realised an item was missing. Contacted the restaurant a couple of days later as I had gotten distracted at the time, and was told that they wouldn't offer a refund for the missing item, and didn't even offer an apology for the inconvenience. Won't be going back.

The pasta dishes are amazing, love them from Toni's. Would love to get them at the weekend but only serve them on weekdays which is disappointing. They do pizzas only at weekend, want pastas please, Toni's reconsider weekend menu please.

Was working in the area and done a Google search for stone baked pizzas and this place came up. It didn't disappoint, very very nice pizza cooked perfectly. The chips were pipping hot and very nice too. Didn't go in due to lockdowns but the place looked very clean and the staff were very polite. Hopefully next time I can eat in and have one of those enormous pizzas 🍕😋👌🏻

Toni's has become our go-to pizza place. Their pizzas are delicious, their service is great and their prices are competitive. They change their specials often so there's always something new to try (or you can build your own from an extensive list of ingredients). The hand written note on the boxes is a lovely personal touch, too. Cannot recommend enough!

Highly recommend! Having not seen parents in person since Oct they travelled from Argyll to spend the day with us and kids in garden on Friday as regulations eased. We pre ordered (day before) lunch to be delivered from Toni's in Giffnock and it arrived around 12noon as planned, delivered by friendly dude, with boxes all marked with smiley "Stay Safe" messages. Food was superb, fresh and tasty; great range of interesting toppings, all available as advertised, accurately made up as requested for what was a relatively large and varied order. The high standard and care put into the meal meant even more on such a precious occasion. Thank you! We will be back ASAP! ☆☆☆☆☆

Have been enjoying the best pizza in Glasgow from Italimania then taken over by Toni from Domenico Crolla for more than 20 odd years. Toni maintained the standard until recently but sad to say we will not be back after possibly the worst pizza delivery ever from anyone. A simple 16" spicy chicken our favourite. It was doughy and dry lacking tomato sauce base and driednout mozzarella. Base was uneven. Thin but crispy in parts and hugely doughy and inedible in other parts.The spicey chicken also dry and almost tasteless. This is not a one off but our loyalty has ran out. Toni please get back from the west end and get back to basics really disappointed and we will not be back.

I have just had my first pizza from Toni’s. It was absolutely delicious! It arrived bang on time, and the delivery lady was so lovely! So glad to have found Toni’s. Such a treat in times of lockdown! Will be my regular Friday night choice now. I had the Natty D... delish!

Recommended by our daughter, ordered a home delivery that was expected in 1 hour and arrived in 30 mins. Food was tremendous, Pollo Frito and (especially) the Chilli Bites were superb and the Pizza and Lasagne which we shared were splendid. All in all the perfect treat for an isolation night. Chapeau.

I wrote a review of Toni’s a year or so ago and was very disappointed with the delivery service - all I can say is I’ve now had two much more positive experiences. Both times- order arrived in a timely manner. All be it - one of the pizzas wasn’t hot enough. Quality of pizza is really good and feel they are getting back on track with better delivery service.

I go every Wednesday with the college troops and never had an issue, best scran out there 10/10 would recommend :P

Firstly I would like to say the pizza was very nice. One of the best in the area. However, when it takes 1 hour 55 mins to arrive, I was so hungry I could have eaten anything. I ordered a delivery at 7.05, accepting that it would take 60 mins to arrive as stated. It got to 7.25 and still no delivery, so I phoned and was told the order had only just come through. They hadn’t even started it. The pizza eventually arrived at 9 and despite it being very nice, I was so annoyed at how long it took and how much it was for such awful service. Full price plus delivery for such a disgraceful delay. The pizzas from Toni’s are very good, but they must sort out there service as this is not the first time I’ve been annoyed by this. The fact that I did not even receive an apology never mind a discount was a disgrace. Get your act together.

Very nice pizza with quality toppings, a thin base and good crust for dipping. The breaded jalopeno cheesy bites are tremendous. Good burgers too.

Ordered 3 large pizzas for home delivery, arrived ahead of time and were just awesome. Kids and friends alike all demolished them with gusto. Have never been disappointed with a pizza from Toni’s, knocks the likes of Dominos and Pizza Hut out the park. If you want pizza, pick Toni’s.

Worst customer service ever ! (Sunday 4th August,2019) The order process began in a fairly straight forward fashion..Ordered x3 pizzas on the website at 5 pm and received a confirmation. X1 hour passes so i call to see the whereabouts of the pizza. Reply “the driver is on his way, he will be there soon”. Im starting to get a little frustrated but hey they must be good to be this busy. Another hour later..i call again...“Hi there its been x2 hours”. Rude staff member “youve scheduled it for 7 pm”....I hadnt done this and was confused..i cancelled the pizza asking for a refund. By this time i was over it. I then looked at my email confirmation and under time of delivery it was written “scheduled” with a link. I clicked the link and sure enough there was the time of 7 pm...but the sneaky part of all of this is i didnt schedule it for this time..they did after making the order! And when i received my email i didnt click through on the word schedule - i didnt even know it was a link ! Misleading, confusing and quite frankly very sneaky. Lets face it most people dont expect to wait x2 hours for a local pizza delivery and all they had to do was ask me if i didnt mind waiting x2 hours as they were clearly exceptionally busy..my reply would have of course been no and clearly they must have known that..hence no contact on their part. X2 hours later the pizza arrives. I explain to the driver that i have notified the restaurant that the pizza was cancelled because it was x2 hours late. His reply “thats okay mate ill eat it myself”... Seriously, what is the world coming to?! These guys are complete jokers We are now x3 days after the incident No call to apologise ! No refund ?!!!! Really disappointed with our delivery. One was well filled and a decent portion, the other was half filled. Not the first time this happened and I called to complain. Was given no apologies over the phone and just said we’d get another half portion delivered. To be fair the delivery person was more apologetic. Was expensive at £21 for what it was and clearly we were paying the ‘Giffnock Premium’, which I can understand. But getting miserly portion and snotty customer service, I don’t think so.

Decided to go in for lunch today & it was amazing! Chicken strips were succulent, batter was crisp & well seasoned & chips were grease free. Best lunch in a long time & bill was a pleasant surprise. Staff were so friendly and attentive, nothing was too much bother. Would highly recommend & will definitely be back soon. Thanx x

Reasonable food but prices are a little high

The mrs and I were passing by and decided to stop in for some lunch. Ordered a 16” pizza and a couple of drinks for 2 to share. Went for half and half which was no problem and opted for half bbq pulled pork and half Margherita. The pizza was well cooked, tasty and decent value for the size. The pulled pork was lovely and just melted in your mouth and they didn’t skimp on the jalapeños. Staff were friendly and helpful. Good pizza and good value, we’ll be back.

Really conflicted about this review but ultimately they don't have the staff or organisation to do their wonderful pizzas justice. If you order during the week when it's quiet you will receive one of the best pizzas in Glasgow. If you order at the weekend then who knows what will happen. After a string of late/incorrect orders the final straw was waiting in store for 1hr 15mins after ordering 2 pizzas 1hr earlier and being told to collect my order in 45mins. Real shame as the pizzas and ingredients are top notch.
