Bella e Buona in Fife

This restaurant is a hidden gem in Rosyth .Visited last night with family and granddaughter and couldn't fault it .Spotlessly clean and loved the white tablecloths . First class service and generous portions very varied menu including steak.Too much to choose from and reasonably priced .Free parking on the doorstep and taxi rank nearby . You should give it try .We will definitely be back .

Went for an early evening meal with family and had a thoroughly pleasant evening. The atmosphere was cosy and the gentleman who served us was extremely friendly and polite. The risotto and pasta dishes were excellent - risotto was was rich and creamy, the pasta was flavoursome and perfectly al dente. Home made bread was a nice touch. Parts of the mixed grill were a little overdone but overall acceptable. We will definitely be back to try some of the other dishes on the menu.

This was my first visit and will be my last. My friend and I ordered minestrone soup and a foccacia mozerrella to share. The foccacia was good and served hot. The minestrone was bland sadly with no flavour from a good stock. To follow we had penne and spaghetti carbonara. It was awful, the ham was smoked and cut into giant strips. The smoked flavour overpowered the pasta and cream spoiling the dish for me I could not eat it. To finish we had strawberry and vanilla icecream and cappucino. The icecream was tasty but we had to rush our coffee as the restaurant was closing, so much for when the last customer leaves. Would not recommend this restaurant and will not be back.

This isn't my first review of Bella e Buona but it's my first review of their takeaway service. I can honestly say that the quality of their takeaway food is as amazing as their sit in. The good people of Rosyth and the surrounding area don't know what a gem of an Italian restaurant they have on their doorstep. I love Italian food, my grandfather was Italian and I have been eating Italian cuisine since I was a child. I've eaten amazing homemade dishes and in fine restaurants across the UK and Italy, and Bella e Buona is up there with the best of them believe me.

The service is good. Food quality is ok decor good but not really Italian. Plenty of Italian dishes but …. for example Minestrone soup with no flavour. No Italian wines on the wine list.. Presents with Indian/Asian vibe for example the wine glasses are just too ornate. So it’s ok and worth a visit but not if you want the Italian experience

We had a truly gorgeous meal here tonight. Lovely ambience, warm and cosy, music at a level whereby you could have a conversation, excellent service! Turning to the meal.... it was very reasonably priced, complimentary bread sticks ( with butter), I chose lasagne purely because it was my first visit so playing safe/a test and trace! I have eaten hundreds of lasagne over the years and I would honestly rate this as good as I've ever tasted. My friend who is not into "foreign food" had steak pie and rated it 9 & 3/4 . So, overall, a lovely meal & we will most definitely return.

My wife and I were looking for a different type restaurant from the repetitive options available in the area. not in the mood for Indian, Chinese, or bar food.. this little Italian option was perfect!

The food was amazing and service was great. Ok from the outside looks like a pub but once you get upstairs and into the restaurant all is remarkably revealed. Really nice and spacious, clean and tidy. Will be back and the Italian food was delicious!

Delicious change from pub fare. Veal, and seafood linguini, very good. When requested, changed music from American pop to Italian. Noisy, uncontrolled children at table near us, spoiled a relaxing atmosphere and prevent a higher rating.

We met up with some friends for drinks in Rosyth and decided to have dinner first. We hadn't tried this restaurant before, but decided to give it a go. It was early evening on a Saturday night in January, so as expected it was not too busy. The staff were friendly and welcoming. We split some starters and had pasta for our main. The food was well presented and tasted great. We sat for a while and enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and traditional decor. We saw a number of tables come and go, as well as seeing lots of take-aways going out the door. We liked the restaurant and hope to come back to try more of the menu.

Last night’s useless performance was that the delivery took over two hours ! And even after it was claimed the delivery was in the car we waited over forty minutes more. We’ve used this place for delivered orders for about one year. It used to be good and we received the food usually after 45 minutes. You can work with that but the burger was poor and the rest not much better. They just lost a loyal customer.

I would describe this restaurant as one serving Italian themed food rather than an Italian Restaurant. The dining room is lovely and the service was good and very prompt, although my party of three were the only diners. The food itself was a mixed bag, the starters were very average but the pizza and pasta were both good and decent value. My daughter who is vegetarian asked if the chef could do her an off the menu veggie calzone. This was provided but was a wee bit disappointing. I would have rated this restaurant as Good but that isn't an option, it is a very nice environment and good value for money.

Great menu. Great food. Really fresh and delicious. Service quick and polite. Complimentary panna cotta at the end, which I'm not keen on...even that, with a gorgeous sauce, was delicious. Five of us there and we all thoroughly enjoyed. Will definitely be back and will try this next for take away too.

I start ordering from Bella e Buona a couple of months ago through UberEats. I try different dishes and all I can say is that the food is delicious. The fresh pasta is full of flavour and so it’s the soup and the meat dishes. The chicken and mushrooms is creamy and very tasty (specially when eaten with the breadsticks) The pizza tastes similar to the one we use to have back in Italy. Excellent food and the delivery guy is always nice and friendly. We can’t wait to visit the restaurant as soon as it’s safe to do so. A big thank you 🙏

Never had the chance to visit the restaurant before lockdown. On recommendation, ordered a takeaway last night. On Just Eat app said it would take 45 mins. 15 mins later it was at the door. Delivered by a lovely cheery guy. The meal was just amazing! Pasta dish so full of flavour and the penne al dente, just how we love it. The pizza was cooked to perfection, and loaded with all the toppings. The nice touch included in the order, were the breadsticks and the garlic dipping sauce. Will certainly be ordering again, and recommending to friends and family.

Food arrived late. Pizza was underdone. The pasta dish was probably the worst I've ever had; the mushrooms were chewy, the pasta was overcooked and mushy, the dish had no seasoning and was like plain pasta with single cream poured on top. Tried to phone to complain and they hung up on me.

I have been coming here for a long time and they are amazing every time. recently it's been changed hand and few new faces are seen in the restaurant but it is still amazing as usual. staffs are very welcoming and alternative, they are very kind and helpful and would not hesitate to explain anything. the food here is always great and tasty, I could eat their food every day and still not get tired of it. the service was amazing, atmosphere was nice and relaxing as well. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves good food and good service. I would definitely be back again.

Visited a few times over the years, excellent food, lovely restaurant and lovely waitresses, has unfortunately now changed owners and some of the new waiting staff do not speak very good English or understand it either.

Telephone service is appalling - they advertise that they accept Tastecard for meals - they don’t - I allocated a score of 1 because they did answer the phone albeit manner was very poor

We had a 40th Birthday party in the function suite upstairs. Excellent hosts and very accommodating. Prices are very good and the buffet was outstanding. I keep receiving messages today all saying they had a great evening and the buffet was very good.
