Milne & Pickles in Scottish Borders

This absolutely has to be the friendliest deli/coffee shop/wine bar in Peebles! Always the warmest welcome, excellent coffee,hot chocolate and home baking. Many of their cheeses and charcuterie items are local, and they keep a beautiful range of gift items to complement everything else.

We had ordered a selection of cheeses,meats,chutneys,biscuits and other items which they specialise in for our evening meal Must say it was delicious and would certainly do it again You can order various sizes ie. 2,4,6 people and for larger parties and select the fillings Great idea This is not a restaraunt as such but a coffee shop and delicatesant.

We visited after finding this little gem on Tripadvisor. They’ve only been open around a year but, it’s just heaven. Two very passionate owners with a love for wine, cheese, pickles and every thing in between. A dog friendly place where they truly make you feel at home. We had the small platter and it was more than enough for two of us, we then left with some of the Peebles made sweet chilli jam, truffle cheese and some oat cakes for good measure! Highly recommend you go visit!

First visited Milne & Pickles a few months back and now this is my first choice place for a coffee in Peebles. Staff are very friendly and always make you feel welcome. Quality of product is exceptionally high and there is a great choice of cheeses available.

After a 12km round trip walking up and down the Tweed we returned to Peebles to treat ourselves to fantastic lunch at this deli/cafe on Northgate, 2 minutes off High Street. The sharing platter of mixed cheeses and cold meats was a showcase for local produce and perfect to replenish our reserves. The platter came with an assortment of nibbles that were all demolished as we cleaned our plates. Excellent coffees to finish off the meal. Thoroughly recommended.

Popped in today for lunch. Had the cheese and charcuterie board. Great value for exceptional quality products. Every element was top notch and all sourced from good quality producers. The staff are all so friendly and very passionate about what they do. The cakes looked beautiful too.

Visited July with family, Really great place, Ordered some nice wine and large anti-pasta charcuterie / fromage board - really good selection of meats/cheeses etc. Staff are superb - daughter even loved going downstairs to help the waitresses . would I return - Yip, definitely

Fabulous sharing cheeseboard and wine. Quality was wonderful, enjoyed everyone (olives, nuts, sourdough, oil & vinegar etc served with the cheeses). Lovely, friendly service. Highly recommended.

Where do I start? Top quality coffee, cake, meats, cheese, olives etc.. Certainly the best place to visit for coffee in Peebles. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. A fantastic little eatery.

Brilliant selection served with a smile. Had the cheese and meat platter with all the trimmings and it was awesome. Will be back soon
