I had the quiche, very generous size, served with salad, chutney & coleslaw. All homemade. Very vintage inside, definitely worth a visit. Lovely selection of cakes which you could buy to take away. To full to eat there, so we bought for later

Surpassed my expectations. Always looking for interesting recommendations for nice tearooms with homemade treats. Lovely cakes on display a full list available if not all out. Homemade soups quiche and sandwiches. Only open 3 days a week now so don’t miss out. Very clean and pleasant place to visit.

Superb cafetiere coffee, wide choice of cake served in a delightfully quirky setting. Sunday House isn't just for Sundays! Not the cheapest place in the North East but good value nonetheless.

I came for the first time with my mum and we both loved it! There’s plenty of homemade food (we got quite a few cakes) it was all a good size, tasted incredible and very good price. They also sell a lot of garden items, vintage china and more which we loved. The couple who own it were so lovely and we will definitely be back. I’d recommend going 100%.

My Husband and I visited on a lovely sunny Sunday whilst on holiday. Beautiful seating area to sit in if you wish but we sat inside to keep cool. The Lady who looked after us was lovely and welcoming, all food homemade by herself. The choice of cakes was excellent, just difficult to choose they all sounded great. Great ambience inside with the music and decor. My Husband had the 3 cheese quiche which he really enjoyed, followed by an orange and lemon cake, absolutely delicious ( I tried some) .Washed down with a milky coffee. I had the yellow split pea soup with homemade bread and chocolate cherry cake. Both delicious. As was my Chai tea. There is also a little shop filled with lovely pieces. I bought a beautiful nightdress. The toilet facilities were excellent. Spotlessly clean as was the whole Tea Room. We shall be back next year. Highly recommend Sunday House Tearoom.

Brae is close to home, in the village of Chapleton, between Newtonhill & Stonehaven. Popped in just before lunchtime on a Sunday, and received a very warm welcome. I was there to get takeaway goods. Both members of staff encountered were very friendly, and attended to my order in a quick & efficient manner. Hot chocolates and mochas very nice, special praise for the apple crumble cake. Utterly delicious and the dog liked it as well! 😬 Nice decor, it was also very clean. I will happily return again.

What a great little cafe, quite hidden away, in lovely surroundings. It is part of a project to help people with disabilities to develop new skills and find employment so go along for meal or just a drink and some cake and you’ll be helping to support a really worthwhile project

Excellent food, ambient and service. We had Ribs and the Roast with Sirloin. All delicious. The ribs barbecue sauce is particularly special and tasty.
