Excellent food, ambient and service. We had Ribs and the Roast with Sirloin. All delicious. The ribs barbecue sauce is particularly special and tasty.

Very lovely attentive staff, they were very helpful with food suggestions for my disabled mother-in-law who can only eat certain things and only small portions. Well worth a visit while we are up in Turriff.

I was in Turriff working, traveling from Houston, TX. We took a chance on The Rustic and boy was it a surprise!! This place is a hidden gem. Through all my travel across the world and coming from the Southeast Texas/Louisiana (Flavor Capital of the World) The Rustic blew me away!! The staff is friendly and the food was absolutely amazing! I had the Smash Burger and Scottish Tablet fries. Both had very unique flavors. The burger was quite large and had tremendous flavor, the Scottish Tablet fries were out of this world, with a perfect combination of sweet and savory (could be a meal on their own), and such a unique combination. Don’t be scared of the ingredients and description, take a chance! You will not regret choosing to dine at The Rustic!!

Service was impeccable from the moment we entered till the moment we left, first class care and attentiveness. The food was very good, enjoyed by all. The restaurant was really nice and well presented.

Pleasantly surprised by the quality and range of the food on offer; there was a good choice for everyone, whether omnivore, vegetarian or vegan. The service from the staff was also very good.

Great diner in Turriff at the Rustic Grill. Atmosphere is comfy with great servers with delicious food. You should not miss this great meal. If you plan to go late afternoon, you will need reservation. They worked hard to please 2 picky Americans wanting sweat tea with a smile and delivered great food. The steak, chicken sandwhich and fish/chips were delicious.

Outstanding for my wife and I was the service. The young waitress was first class. The menu was vast and 90% of the dishes had many layers of flavour. Choosing a few dishes from the list was not easy. Well worth a visit if you are in the area.

I was passing by and stopped to have late brunch with family. We were surprised how much vegetarian options they have and first time tried veg hot dog in restaurant. All staff were so polite and asked plenty of questions regarding diet requirements. Atmosphere in nice and unique, toilets nice and clean must stop place for all looking for nice place to eat. Very enjoyable experience at this restaurant from start to finish . On entry we were given a warm welcome and asked if we had made a reservation and then shown to our table. I would recommend making a reservation if you are planning a visit, just to make sure there is a table available that day. From small plates to main courses were all cooked to perfection, servers were excellent, professional and attentive during our visit. Recommend giving this restaurant a try when visiting or passing through Turriff. Thank you very much for the fab experience.

First time on the recommendation from my wife. Welcomed with a smile & polite staff member. After we were seated, the drinks order was taken & efficiently giving. Food order was taken with advice on selections. Starter was delivered which was excellently presented & first class. Main Course was presented with selected sides. Again first class. At no time did we feel pressured to rush our meal. I would advise to everybody to call & book a table to ensure the excellent experience given by the friendly professional Staff.

Called in on off chance of getting fed, struggled a bit as they were going to be busy. Got a table, ordered mince and tatties and veg, it was ok but a bit bland, didn't live up to expectations so quite disappointed really. Serving staff and restaurant lovely. Food not so good.

As fulltime World travellers, we have been fortunate to eat some delicious meals across Asia and the United Kingdom. However, our meals at this establishment were the best we have eaten in a year of travel. The drink menu was extensive, and the two burgers with potatoe buns were extraordinary. Dessert is not something we normally partake in, but so glad we did tonight, as the sticky pudding and the biscoff cookie were next level goodness. The decor of the restaurant is fresh, modern and to a high standard. But, it's the lovely staff, who treated us with such respect and professionalism, that are the real stand out feature of the local venue. Without them, our dining experience would not have been so memorable and commendable. Thank you Team, from the two Outback Aussie's 🇦🇺

Very disappointed with the service and attitude of the owner will never be back i would recommend that the owner gets an attitude change I would like to ask how long does it take to make a drink if your looking for a good meal kastiles is place to go

We have family that live outside Turriff and this place came highly recommended! We were optimistic as its been a while since we've had a nice meal out, to say we were highly surprised is an understatement. Food was amazing!! Not even an exaggeration everything was perfect. Staff went above and beyond to make sure everything was ok, even made me a bloody Mary which are usually only on the brunch menu and even this was fab!! Thank you for such a lovely evening. 😍

We came across The Rustic Grill by chance this afternoon and it was spectacular! As a Gluten Free person as well I always struggle to find places to eat or I’m left with very little choice but not here! Not only did I have lots to choose from there was things on the menu I’ve never been able to get anywhere else ever. The food and service (by Lucy I think) were amazing and we will definitely be back.

Have been here many times before and have never been disappointed. 5 stars all round. I had whipped goats cheese and chorizo and the chicken fajitas were amazing. Definitely worth a visit.

Quality beef steak and salad. Nice decorated the restaurant. Book the tables before you go there. I will visit again. ☺️

Definitely one of the best eateries in North Aberdeenshire. Good vegetarian food is hard to find in this area, so to have a section at the back of the menu for vegetarian and vegan options is very rare. Many of their dishes are available with an alternative to the meat or fish ingredients, giving a wide choice for the non-meat eater (and, I would guess, allergy sufferer). The tapas-style small plates option is also a bonus. Pricing is normal for this part of the world. I'm used to paying much less, but given that many places around here can charge £15 for a plain vegeburger and chips, The Rustic Grill offers a tasty meal at a competitive price.

This is the 2nd week in a row we have been back for lunch. This time with a friend, and she now knows why we like it so much. The decor is nice, bright and inviting. Above all, the food is great. My wife had meatballs with a mac and cheese side. Both were excellent. Our friend and I had a massive mixed grill each. Everything was tasty and cooked to perfection. Even down to how well done the piece of sirloin was presented. Creme Brulee, sticky toffee, and ice cream to follow. Great value for money and superb food. The staff are also friendly and take time to talk to you.

First time there. Will definitely be back.

On holiday in the area and called in for dinner. We had visited last year and were really impressed. So, how was it this time..... delighted to say their high standards and delicious food are better than ever. Ordering a number of small plates makes for a great taste experience. The friendly proprietor and her staff will give helpful guidance around a really extensive menu. Can't wait for a return visit

We met up with 3 other couples to celebrate their 25th anniversary with a visit here and take in their “boozy brunch”🍺🍹🍸 We were all made very welcome with very attentive and professional staff who looked after us extremely well for the 5hrs we were there. The food menu was exceptional as was the quality of the food, both my wife and I had the ‘eggs Benedict’ which was superb. Their full Scottish breakfast which some of our group had looked amazing. Part of the ‘boozy brunch ‘ includes cocktails off their offer menu. A great choice to pick from which most of us tried a large selection 🍹🍸🥂 This was our first time here and most certainly will not be our last. We all commented that we will definitely be returning very soon. Congratulations to everyone at the Rustic Grill who looked after us and the many customers who were there yesterday. 👏😇

Great selection of dishes to cater to most tastes. Staff were excellent and happy to explain where the ingredients were sourced from locally.

Been here before, but a while ago. We enjoyed the novelty factor, of being able to cook own protein on hot stones. Informed that tuna no longer available to cook yourself, or in the restaurant kitchen. This was a disappointment, that was the only reason we chose there to eat. Menu is confusing, not clear on how, what to chose to go with it. Food was average, not bad portion size. Had a long wait between courses. Prices have gone up quite a bit, Not really worth it. 1 starter, steak, salmon, chips, mushrooms sautéed veg. Side onion rings. Mild peppercorn sauce, lemon/caper butter. Children's main and dessert. 2 adult desserts. 1 cocktail, 1 fuit shoot. 1 - 1/2shandy. Total was just shy of £100, which was a shock. Good accessibility for buggies/ wheelchair. Good disabled toilet, baby change facilities.

This is a place I found on Google Maps when looking for places to eat around this area. Not being a local, I wasn't familiar with what is best in terms of eating out. Thankfully, I was inspired enough to choose this place and I was very happy with my decision. The food was delicious and the options were all interesting and not boring. The staff was friendly and polite and I very much appreciated not being asked to pay a service charge. Thank you for your hard work!

An unexpected find in a quieter part of Scotland. A really nice eating experience, nicely designed restaurant, friendly staff and good food. Stopped by for lunch and had a good filling meal, plenty of options, decent portions and reasonable prices. Fully accessible for wheelchairs, level access.

A regular eating place with well priced food and friendly, attentive staff.

Love this place - the menu is really varied and whether you want an old favourite or something a bit different, there is plenty to choose from. A starter, main and dessert plus a soft drink comes in at around £30 per person and portions are very generous.

Ich hatte beim Betreten einen guten Eindruck von den aufgetischten Speisen, es war voll, was ein gutes Zeichen ist. Die Leute sahen zufrieden aus. Leider haben wir keinen Tisch bekommen, es war ausgebucht.

Our whole experience was an utter delight! Visited as a large group for a birthday celebration, and was given a lovely semi-private table, there was so much space, and the decor felt homely yet modern - beautiful. Each guest in our party commented that it was the best meal they'd had out in a long time. Menu had a great selection, all food was homemade and plentiful. Something for everyone. Although the restaurant was busy, the service never once lacked, and we were surprised at how reasonable the bill was.

The service was lovely, I forgive the Aussie pointing out that they’d retained the ashes. The food was really very good, especially the steak on a hot stone option that my son loved. This might come over as patronising, I don’t mean it to be, but the Rustic Grill felt like the kind of restaurant that wouldn’t be out of place in a livelier, bigger town. Genuinely an asset to the area.

Went without booking and got in. Lovely lunch menu choice and decent portions, bit pricey on drinks but overall an enjoyable experience.. Nice decor, very friendly staff and quite a relaxed place, enjoyed it, will go back in October. Thanks

We visited as a family of four and were welcomed from our last minute phone booking, to arriving with hungry and weary children, seated quickly and kindly and served by friendly and helpful staff. The food is second to none. The absolute best in the North East and we couldn’t fault it! You can tell the produce is really great because it stands out and the thought process behind the menu is evident. The decor, comfort and attention to detail is wonderful and we all felt at home. We will definitely return and we can’t thank you enough for our dining experience. Thank you and keep doing what you are obviously doing so well.

Took my gran and two young children here. They were so accomidating and friendly, one of the waitresses even took my youngest (5 months old) and walked around with her to let me finish my lunch after she woke up from her nap. The food was delicious, and reasonably priced. We are off the brunch menu, which is available until 2pm. Would highly recommend the fried chicken crossiant!

Went for breakfast on the Sunday morning, good job we booked as it was real busy. Really good menu and staff were pleasant and welcoming. All the food we had was first class and excellent value.

Wow! Absolutely great food, good portion sizes, the onion rings are absolutely huge and super delicious. The owner is very friendly and chatty. She even made me a banoffee dessert that wasn't on the menu (slight banoffee addiction) and I have to say it was the best banoffee I've ever had! Definitely want to come back.
