Short Long Black es un gran lugar en Victoria Road. Gran café y una increíble sección de pasteles y bollería. (buenas opciones veganas y sin gluten)

These people are so good at what they do. The coffee.. the cakes! The perfect take away bite and caffeine hit for a stroll around Queens Park.

Was in area for work one morning and needed my coffee fix, and the south side of Glasgow has no shortage of coffee shops these days, and I like to try as many as possible. I decided upon Short Long Back as it was next to where I had parked, so went there to grab a coffee, and while looked at their baked goodies, could not say no to the salted-caramel brownie. Really tasty coffee, and the brownie was fantastic. Excellent prices and I will most certainly be back again if in the area again.

He estado aquí varias veces recientemente y creo que es el mejor café en el lado sur y los pasteles son increíbles. El brownie fue realmente algo. Personal realmente amable también. ¡Recomendaría!

This place is literally the best coffee in Glasgow with a chilled quirky vibe, Dog friendly so you meet plenty cute dogs along with your coffee! Not only that they make the best fruit waffles. Highly recommend!

The espresso is the best I've had in the area and up there with the best in the city, delighted to have these guys nearby. Have had the mushroom/cheese & mushroom/fakecheese sandwiches which are great, got a 5yr old wee guy who is obessessed with them. Other bug plus is the pottery, I am jealous of the espresso cups they use. When I have some space in the cupboard I will obtain a few and repurpose them as teacups.

Ok, if you like drinking your coffee black or nearly black and haven't come here then please check this place out! I was in the area for a meeting and looked up a spot for coffee beforehand and so glad I came, they serve beautiful coffees in beautiful pottery cups, I came back for another after my meeting and again, 100% delish. I love it when a coffee isn't just plain old good coffee ... But something more than that, something that surprises you with complexity of flavor. I didn't eat but the food they were sending out looked and smelt great, will be back for lunch...and definitely more coffee.

I visited after hearing good things about this coffee shop off the usual beaten path on the outskirts of Glasgow. The service was great, both staff members were attentive and knowledgable about the coffees they were serving. I started with a flat white, which was delicious, followed by an espresso, this was stunning, really sweet and aromatic and amazing flavours. Then the waffle, I can’t explain how good this was. I was worried it would be too sweet but it was so well balanced it was true my the best waffle I’ve ever had. Then washed it down with a filter coffee. If you are in, near or driving past Glasgow, I urge you to give them a try. Great things from an amazing coffee shop.

Great spot for brunch or lunch. Most of the brunch dishes seem to centre around homemade potato waffles which is a bit different. I had the beans with sweetcorn puree, avocado and waffles. It was very tasty and well presented. After ordering I noticed their flatbread sandwiches which looked very filling and fresh. Several different veggie options. While I was there they had a delivery of flatbread so you could tell it was really fresh. I will need to go back to try these! The coffee was strong and very flavoursome, some of the best coffee I've had in Glasgow. Lovely atmosphere too. Great find!

Tiny coffee shop hidden between other shops, but a true gem. Very good coffee and some tasty pastries to go with it. Lovely decoration, and the ceramic mugs add a nice touch.

First visit today. Kicking myself I haven't tried it sooner. Only in for a takeaway coffee. Coffee was delicious and cheap. No quality spared for great price. Loved the relaxed vibe and extremely friendly, chatty staff. Next time I'll sit in and sample their delicious cakes. Exactly what the area needs.

Went for afternoon tea with my friend and was certainly not disappointed, the owner of the shop was a lovely friendly person and the sandwiches scones and cakes etc were delicious, we were also given a welcoming soft drink with little exploding fruit bubbles which was a pleasant surprise . I would definitely recommend a visit wherever you live in Glasgow or surrounding areas it’s well worth it. Anything left over you get a box to take home

Delicious veggie food We stopped in for brunch on a sunny Saturday. I was intrigued by the smashed peas on sourdough, and it was not a disappointment! Deliciously minty with spring onion and a hint of chilli. The halloumi on top was perfect. A good selection of teas and coffees, and other juices etc. A brilliant option for veggie or vegan breakfast, lunch, or brunch. I came back the next day to get some of their fantastic pastries!

Won’t be controversial to say one of the best bakeries I’ve ever been to in Glasgow. The lineup: BLAT (bacon lettuce avocado tomato) Meatball Bap Lorne, egg and black pudding roll Jeeeeeeessssss Louise this was good. My sandwich (the blat) was made with incredible sourdough, with just the perfect amount of crisp around the edges and super soft in the middle, could’ve eaten that all day without cutting a single bit of my mouth. The other two, I was told, were placed on some fantastic rolls, with almost milk bread like texture, almost made me jealous. The meatballs were packed full of herby juicy deliciousness, and the square sausage was gone before I could even try a taste. The wait staff were incredibly friendly and helpful as well. My friend spilled his drink but they took the extra steps to not only help clean up the spill but also got him a free refill. Going that little bit out of the way really makes the experience special, so thank you! Seems like a lovely wee community that goes there and with it being slap bang on anniesland cross it’s still fairly handy to get to! I’ll definitely be back for some bread, a pie and maybe another cup of delicious tea! Also if you are looking to preorder their sourdough the best way to do it is to follow their facebook page, and when they release their menus on Wednesday, pop a comment on the post with your name and day you want to get it with minimum 24hrs notice!!! I’ve revisited just to try the pastries, which is yet another great recommendation from me. The danishes they make change toppings regularly, and the one pictured was essentially a Black Forest gateau on a danish. Excellent! Cheers to another great Glasgow business :)

My first visit during my Glasgow stay. Came here and had a late breakfast consisting of a raisin scone and a pot of tea. Super cozy atmosphere, feels like a local regular cafe. Very nice owner who gave me some tips on other places to visit nearby.
