This is the first place I head to every time I get to Rothesay. The best coffee on the island - no competition. Plus an incredible salted hot chocolate (I buy bags of the stuff to take back to London), plus amazing pastries and excellent soup for lunch. And Mhairi and her team are always good for a natter and to bring you up to speed on the island gossip and recent celebrity sightings. I also rarely leave without a new pair of earrings thanks to the Bonnie Bling range they stock.

Excellent speciality coffee on the Isle of Bute - need I say anymore? If you know… :) Quirky, bright, happy little spot! Called in with our little toddler and they were so welcoming and friendly. Set us up with a spot at the table, two really good coffees (Dear Green Roasters) and tasty cakes for Mum & Dad and a little cup of milk and a biscuit for Toddler Tot without even asking, which made her day! Great chat from the owner, and good knowledge of coffee. Thank you! Looking forward to visiting again - when they have their lovely new machine in situ!

What an amazing little coffee shop that sells lots of little gifts too. A bright and colourful space that will guarantee to put a smile on your face. The staff make you feel like you've just walked into their living room for a cuppa and a chat. Perfectly located in Rothesay, just a 5 minute walk right off the ferry and definitely worth it!

I love popping in here for a natter, an excellent coffee and the odd brownie or cupcake. Ideal place to pick up Scottish gifts for people too - I love Bonnie Bling!

Spent 4 days on the island, and went back 3 times. Lovely little coffee shop just to the left hand side of Rothesay Castle. Such lovely ladies, great coffee and chat. Lovely jewellery items for sale too. Highly recommended. Must go!

Love popping in either with family or on my own. Coffee is always brilliant and despite not really being a toast person the sourdough is lovely. Always a good chat too :)

Some of the best coffee to drink in-house or take away. They do some good toast and butter too. Great banter from the owner.

Found this cafe by accident and so glad we did. Beautifully clean, smart and modern - you may eat inside or out. As well as light lunches, they do some serious food and there is a really good choice. I had a cumberland sausage and onion baguette; very generous with the filling and good quality sausage. With it came five different salads; the carrot and sunflower one had a particularly delicious dressing. My husband had a ham and cheese baguette and he was equally enthusiastic. Highly recommended.

No fuss, good value food. Been a half dozen times over the last year and never been disappointed. My go-to for a soup and a bowl of chips on the side. Good selection of local produce on the shelves too .
