Actually it was a take-away. At £46 not as cheap as previously. No w no free delivery for spending over £15. Delivery charge, by Foodhub. OK only £2.50. It becomes worse. Poppadoms and sauces were free. Now itemised. Fine. Told them over phone no lime pickle. So they decided to send an unasked for Chilli pickle. If I do not like lime am I likely to like Chilli? Food acceptable. Even the delivery driver apologised for delivery charge. Said many people had said same. And hence did not give tips. I did. However may well be last time I deal with this restaurant. Reminds one of dear places where there is a charge for everything, even a small portion of peas.

The Good:Poppadom (and battered starters) deep frying - well cooked, no excess oil on anything. The Bad:Small portionsThe chefs choice of two snacks on the veg Thali was 3 strips of deep fried okra and a cauliflower floret (in a nice batter)The 2 curries on the same Thali were something that could have come from a Sainsbury’s microwave mealThe Ugly:DecorCleanliness - while not that poor in general, too many things needed a better clean (tables, chutney pots)The yogurt and chutney pickles for poppadoms (other than the mango) were grim

First time visiting this lovely restaurant. I have a peanut allergy and so trying a new Indian restaurant is quite a scary thing as they usually use nut oils to cook in,I was reassured that things are kept separate and indeed I didn't have any reaction. The food was absolutely delicious.all really fresh. The service was really nice and there was a good atmosphere in the restaurant. Also the prices were very reasonable. We will definitely be back with friends and family.

Unfortunately, we had an awful experience at Voujon. I've been visiting every year with friends and always thoroughly enjoyed the food and experience but tonight was completely different. I ordered a fish curry, as I have every other year. The fish was dreadful and tasted watery. You could see the water seep out of it with the slightest pressure from the fork. I ordered my daughter chicken nuggets and chips, the waiter asked whether I wanted an adults or childs portion. I asked for child's but wasthen charged an adult rate. When I queried this, I was told the price was the same - which made no sense and this wasn't the case in the past. Another member of our party wasn't able to eat her dish as it was poor quality. The service was poor, the waiters would start clearing plates before the entire party had finished a course. We definitely won't be returning to Voujon in the future. When we raised our concerns with the manager, he told us we were wrong. A very poor experience

Hi, called in on tues 29th April, we haven't been in before and we were surprisingly taken back by how big it is inside, very clean very tidy, we had fish and chips and a battered sausage and chips with curry sauce and mushy peas (separate), it was all done whilst waiting but we were not waiting long, staff were friendly. we collected our food and left, when we got home it was still piping hot, but yes 100% was amazing, will definitely return. It was also very reasonably priced. Well done trinity fish bar ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ They also have a very tidy and clean restaurant bit in which is available to stay in and eat.

We have tried all of the Indian restaurants in Harrogate and we always go back to this one. The food is excellent every time, great quality and fairly priced. All of the staff are very friendly and happy to answer any questions about dishes. Yes you can see from the photos of the premises that it is not a fancy restaurant but it is always freshly decorated and spotlessly clean. We would rather go here every time and know that the food and service will never disappoint.
