Nice, if average, food. Service was good but the restaurant itself is very tired and grubby. Tired furniture and dirty walls. The toilets were not great either and that says a lot.

Exceptionally good. I drove over from Bracknell to collect as I’ve tried most curry houses around Bracknell and they are mostly very under-par and bland; the decent one or two I’ve tried are not consistent. We’re originally from West London and didn’t realise how spoilt for choice we were for a decent curry there. We ordered the Tikka Madras, Onion Bhajis and poppadoms, the quality of the ingredients and flavours were spot on, probably one of the best I’ve had anywhere. Bravo.

Got a little takeout from here, just a few starters only to see what it was about. It cost c. £13 pounds for x2 really tiny meat samosas; x4 tiny & quite oily onion bhaji; £5.85 for one breaded prawn with more coating than prawn!! It doesn't specify amounts on the menu so I didn't know what to expect. On collection I asked for some x4 poppadom's and they charged me £0.90 per poppadom with mango chutney, an additional £4... Total rip off and below average food. Avoid.

Good food with friendly service came here with our good friends and we were not disappointed. Restaurant was not busy for a Saturday night which suited us as we had time to catch up in quite surroundings. Everyone enjoyed there choices and we would visit again

Booked a restaurant meal for a large Christmas party. Excellent service and very relaxed environment. First class food and a very enjoyable evening for everyone. I would definitely recommend Kabirs to anyone who loves Indian food.

We have been regulars at Kabirs for a number of years but every so often something changes and the quality of the food drops. Until recently we a had been a regular for about a year and all of a sudden the flavour and consistency of the currys we normally ordered changed dramatically to sauces lacking in flavour, We tried them an additional two times but the quality did not improve so it wasn't a one off issue. I don't know if they changed their recipes and/or their chef but, we haven't been back to them since.

Another fantastic visit to Kabirs over the weekend! Food - first class Service - even better! In Crowthorne, we are blessed to have a couple of very good Indian eateries, but Kabirs just about shades it for me due to its friendly / entertaining staff! Every time we visit Kabir's, we're welcomed back with open arms - it really does feel like arriving at a relative's house! The service is fantastic and the food is delicious (and plentiful!) - it's also a real treat to have a traditional Thali on the menu :-)

I have visited Kabirs before but rarely if ever have take-away, but needs must in the current circumstances. Ordered for collection and walked along to pick it up, quite a queue, social distancing was being attempted but the numbers were great, possibly becuase a friday night. Great work by the staff, food was excellent, meat samosa to start and a rogan gosht to follow with bombay aloo. Excellent, very tasty and good value.

Had a great chicken curry with all the traditional trimmings. Brilliant service with a touch of humour thrown in. As a large scale party of students from a local school using Kabirs as a Christmas venue, the waiters handled the situation very well.

Hands down the best Indian in the area. We visited several times whilst I was pregnant as I really loved the butter chicken! Always served with a smile and waiters and quite happy to chat which is nice. Wish they delivered to Sandhurst!

After 3 years avoiding this place we thought we would try again. What a mistake it took an hour and 45 mins to turn up. Surprised it was slightly warm. My veg curry was awful so watery and no flavour! I had one piece of potato, 2 bits of broccoli, 5 beans and a slice if carrot in it. Worse curry I have ever had. Will NEVER be going back

I have had dinner here many times. Good food and friendly service. Often busy and it gets very noisy so be prepared! Not the venue for a quiet conversation. The atmosphere is very warm and the food has always been very good. Staff always welcoming but sometimes not enough of them!

Ate here a few times, pretty much your only choice in Crowthorne, had a dodgy tum the next day every time, not Monty Zumas revenge, but unpleasant enough. Very expensive, when i had a take away and ordered Sheek Kebab, was the first time in 30 years of take away's where i wasnt give salad or yogurt sauce.

Not a huge fan of Indian cuisine, therefore really have to be in the mood. This place never disappoints. Very unassuming building and not one you would think could produce such great dishes from the exterior, but don't judge a book as they say. Staff - EXCELLENT, very attentive and always happy to help. Very accommodating if you want cooked slightly different or certain ingredients you may not want in the dish. Ordered a takeaway for delivery. Our menu showed dish price £10.99 but online £8.99 so asked when ordering told it was £9.99. Also told that they now charge £2 for delivery but they offered to waive this this time. There was plenty of food but wasn’t the best biryani we’ve had locally.

I have visited Kabirs several times in the past 6 months and unfortunately have grown disappointed with the quality of the curries. A few years ago I remember the food being good, but recently I have found the curries bland and not very tasty at all. I hope that they improve as the options are limited in Crowthorne.

Quiet on a Thursday night when we visited. Service was very friendly. Food OK. Only complaint was that the table was a bit crowded with six of us on it.

What more do you want to know? The food is always delicious, and this evening the lamb was more tender than usual and the chicken succulent. This paired with a great atmosphere for a friend's birthday celebration and the impeccable service with attention to detail. Will certainly be returning.

Went there with 2 mates for the Wednesday evening meal deal. Plenty of food :- starter, main, rice, naan, vegetable side dish, optional coffee and mint chocolates. Very good Indian food, and as said before plenty of it !

Family night out. Not too sure how it was going to go as I don't really like Indian food.

I went with my wife and we had a take away. Our first time since moving back to Crowthorne. My Chicken dhansak was ok, but too sweet- less sugar please! The nan bread was bland, no salt added to the dough. It was very dry too! Brush it with ghee please. I also ordered a garlic nan and the garlic flavour was not there. Very ordinary and disappointing. My wife’s Lamb curry was disgustingly bad. Bland watery pieces of lamb with lots of bland tomatoes, no hint of Indian spices. I was shocked how bad it was. We came for Indian food and expect the flavours of India. Kabir’s please don’t try to tell us your catering for the English. We English love curry and expect quality Indian food. Go to Spices Indian restaurant in Datchet and see how to run a restaurant. Food is matched by the decor and ambiance. Quality Indian food cooked with pride.

Just ordered a takeaway from Kabirs, Crowthorne and was extremely impressed. For a busy Friday night, delivery was quick and the food was insanely good! Will definitely order from there again and would highly recommend !

Booking for 9 people, seated on a table that could barely fit 8 with overlapping elbows. Half an hour from being seated until drinks order was taken and menus given, 20 minutes more for drinks to turn up. I hope the food is good, but the experience is ruined by being crammed onto a tiny table.

There is a public car park opposite the restaurant which makes makes for easy parking. The staff and friendly and attentive, given plenty of popadoms and sauces, they also offered a mixed starter for the group. The Chicken Korma was not too hot, and chicken was tender. The ambience modern, it is not a large restaurant.

Honestly, I hardly ever get takeaway from anywhere else. The korma sauce is sublime and the chicken tikka has so much flavour. The meals are perfect for sharing and we've never had to wait for more than 30 minutes for our food to be ready (normally order on a Friday or Saturday evening).

For three of the four of us this was their first Indian cuisine restaurant and everyone agrees it will not be the last. Great advice from the waiter for newcomers, quick service and really yummy food. Crowthorne is a very lucky town.

Found the service here to be pretty good. The waiters were friendly and helpful. However, the food was not to our liking. This is a popular restaurant as it has been here for many years and it was packed. In fact, we were asked if we could vacate our table at the end of our meal as they had someone waiting for it. I was not told that it would be required when I made the booking.

Always find a Wellingtonian or 4 at Kabirs. Nice food with fun waiters. TBH the Tarka Dal was rubbish and watery, but everything else was very good. Nice quality lamb used.

Food was rushed. Please do not try Allo Chart dish. Staff didn't know what Allo Chart looks like (as mentioned in the menu list). When asked they responded we only cater for English guests so we cook everything to their liking. Very disappointing response and discriminatory.

Our party of 10 was looked after exceptionally well. Food quality and choice is outstanding. Due to two nearby Indian restaurants closing, you do need to book. It is however, well worth doing.

Kabirs is our regular "GoTo" restaurant. Always friendly and accommodating even during busy periods. They always find a round table for us if we book and ask. The food is good and plentiful; easy to order too much on a first visit. Typical bill for two with drinks (wine and beer) is £55ish. Good value and highly recommended.

Ordered Chicken Biriani, Tarka Dahl, Plain Nan and a Lamb Tikka Starter as a Take Away. The Restaurant was rammed after the FA Cup Final and most of those turning up were clearly repeat Customers. In addition to those sitting down for their food there was a steady stream of Take Away customers. My food was very good especially the Vegetable Curry as an accompaniment to the Biriani. My criticisms would be that he Nan was undercooked and the Lamb Tikka had no Yoghurt. I'd certainly eat Kabirs food again though.

Returned to Ray and Dave's Kabirs for the first time in probably 6 years, and was not disappointed. Thursday night - it was packed. Friendly, nothing too much trouble service, combined with food that is still cooked the same way i remember it when i first went in 20 years ago. I love the food here - great. Keep up the great work fellas - if you live in the village - you'll know Kabirs!

Just moved to the area, so trying out all the new places. First take away had missing items which we didn't notice until we got home, call them up and said we had to come back, no apologies!Tried again few months later, again order was wrong and cold! Took my family including two sons who are fussy eaters to try and get them to eat more types of food. Granted they ate rice, bread and chicken tikka and wouldn't try anything else but the service is always good as is the food!

Visited this weekend for a boys night out. Food was very dissapointing. Lacking in flavour, substance and a number of dishes served luke warm. Starters slit better than the mains. Service was good which helped but overall not a good meal out.

Normally this place is great but something must have gone wrong on the night that I went (Saturday 15th Oct) the food was not ready on time and I went away to the Chinese for 15 mins when I returned I still had to wait, the food in the end was not hot (warmish) and not very tasty.

This establishment offers great food & great service. The waiters are friendly and entertaining and the food can only be described as excellent. If you go on a Wednesday you must take advantage of the special menu, starter, main, side, rice or naan and coffee all for under £13.00 per head. Only been once so far but will definitely go back. It's not a large place so booking is definitely essential to avoid disappointment.

This was a Friday evening and we had not made a booking. But we got a table. The tables are quite spacious which helps. The food doesn't look crowded on the table despite having quite a few dishes between five of us. The waiter was good fun and balanced his humour well with efficiency. The food was lovely. Highly recommended. There is a car park opposite which is handy

After researching a local Indian Restaurant we decided to visit Kabirs. Our table was by the toilet and the lights were full on so no atmosphere and we were continually disturbed throughout the meal. Food was Okay and service was OK. Not really worth the money due to the evening being spoilt by the table location.

Never had a bad meal here, but some nights it is so busy it can take ages just to order your meal, let alone get it. Wednesday they do a meal deal so is usually heaving, and most Friday nights are hectic, too. Go another night for a quieter experieince

Really tremendous, tasty food - the best Indian we've had for many years. But we sure to check your bill as they like to use higher prices than appear on the menu, and "forget" to give the advertised 10% for take away orders.

Tasty curry, huge; if not too big, portions. We came on Wednesday and took advantage of the £12.95 5 course meal deal. We booked in advance and good thing we did! It was very busy! Leaving 4 stars because the service was a little rushed - the restaurant is too small to accommodate that many guests.
