The best restaurants serving Indian food in England

We had a takeaway, wish we hadn't bothered. The food was cold when it arrived, the onion bajies tasted awful, like they had been fried in old oil and they were tough. The nan was doughy and cold. The passanda sauce was like glupe it was extremely salty, cold and oily not creamy with cashews. Extremely disappointed and won't be ordering again.

Casi me pierdo el cruce para esto en la oscuridad de la A 64, ya que no hay señales iluminadas y no había luces en la A 64, donde era tan peligroso para los coches detrás, también con nosotros teniendo que romper de repente No hay mucho ambiente dentro y el personal no tenía una sonrisa entre ellos El pollo tikka fue el peor que he probado. ¡Vino en un plato, no en un plato chispeante y estaba todo arrugado junto a una ensalada! ¡Incluso los pocos pimientos y cebollas sabían extraños al lado! Debería haberlo devuelto realmente, ya que estaba tan seco y no venía con un lado de salsa de verduras como la mayoría de los lugares. Las otras comidas estaban bien Lo único que disfrutamos fueron los poppadoms ¡Evita!

It was our first visit here but had heard good things about the food, so decided to give it a go. When we arrived, we were the only guests in there other than someone who was waiting for a take away. There was no music so the atmosphere felt dead. We nearly walked out but decided to take a seat. The waiter asked for drinks and we asked if he could put some music on, which he did. Drinks arrived and the menus came. Have to say that there was a great selection of food. The Mrs ordered Onion Bhaji and Chicken Tikka Masala, I tasted both which were excellent, the chicken was succulent and packed with flavour. I had Sheek Kebab and Keema Bhuna. The Bhuna was one of the best I’d tasted. The Naan Breads were very light and fluffy and made to perfection. Overall our experience was not to be put off the atmosphere which was lacking. But the flavour of the food was exceptional. We will be back and recommend this to anyone reading this.

This Indian is the best Indian I have ever been too. My partner and I go here quite often when we do not have our children, as a little date night. The food is AMAZING! Staff are so friendly, the prices are amazing. Over all just AMAZING! I will not be going anywhere else for my sit in Indian!

My Bhoona was very bland. The rest of the meal was fine

Went here for Valentine’s Day, it was decorated lovely, the food was incredible and the staff were lovely - we couldn’t have asked for more

Varied menu with plentiful portions and super tasting food! The new owner is very friendly and welcoming and all the staff were eager to please. Will be back soon!

Visited Purbani and have been many times before.I felt that the standard of meals has declined.Husband had favourite dish of Vindalo and was more like a beef stew.Not hot in taste and all meals were tepid in temperature. Such a shame as we usually enjoy this establishment but will think twice before returning

Si te gusta un curry caliente echa un vistazo a este lugar. Tuve una madras y está allí con lo mejor hasta ahora. Servicio animado por el gerente que hizo todo lo posible por servirnos. Yo, Mam y yo volveríamos; el keema naan es para morirse.

Always great food & enjoyable visit for daughters 18th

Ordered through JustEat, 100 minutes had passed no delivery. Rang to be told one driver for entire delivery evening, food is ready but can’t be delivered. So cancelled order to them be told “oh it’s in the car, 4 minutes away” still cancelled. Will not be using again.

Service was beyond dire, Sat for 20minutes before asked if we wanted a drink. We were the only people in there, the staff/management were too busy having a conversation between themselves, to take care of the customers. It took a further 10 minutes of so, for the drinks to actually arrive. The food was barely average, and given the large number of excellent Asian restaurants in the area, we are surprised, they still have customers. At no point were asked if the food was ok, or offered refills on the drinks, not even water. When we paid the bill, there wasn’t even an acknowledgment or goodbye, We had read reviews, saying the service was poor, but we through we’d try it anyway, however now the reviews have been proved right, we won’t be returning.

We visit Quay Spice every time we are in Poole , the food and service is always great and have tried most of the dishes on the menu , we would recommend this restaurant as it’s the best Indian restaurant in town
