Had the buffet. Great selection of foods for all 3 courses. Most mains contained green chillies, but there was at least one mild dish. Left comfortably stuffed.

Best Indian we have had in ages!!!

We’ve eaten at the Aagrah a long time ago and loved the food but unfortunately things seemed to have slipped - the food was very average (at best)

In the buffet, very little sweets were placed. Upon requesting twice, they just put only one kind of sweet and that’s it. Would not like to go there again except when it’s only the last option.

Ordered from the Agrah yesterday and was not very impressed,very low quality food. 😡😡😡

For a aagrah its very out dated for the price of the buffet £18.95 id of expected more choice very limited choice of starters and main dishes

I ordered a buffet from the Tadcaster restaurant to be brought to a venue where i was holding my 50th . The guy brought the buffet serving dishes with warmers , then went to collect the food. He delivered it all seamlessly and it was absolutely beautiful. Once we had eaten i just had to call and he came again to collect it. Brilliant service and proffessional set up. Thank you all.

We had the most delicious meal last night. Everything was cooked beautifully from the mixed grill starter to the perfect curries. The chips are a must, like mini roasties. The garlic naan is to die for. The staff were attentive but let us take our time. Sadly it was very quiet for a Saturday night. Decor could do with a touch up, our only criticism.

Best Indian restaurant outside of York. Fantastic, 'eat as much as you can' buffet on a Sunday and Monday evening at about £20.

Not sure they've done any improvements for years... Not too the decor or the menu. Very sad that they rely on their logo to get customers in. The ones in Bradford and Leeds center are MUCH nicer... As it's the service!

Awful service Had korma delivered which looked and tasted absolutely disgusting however the rest of the food was nice so called to request either a refund or new one and have never spoken to such rude people in my life!!! Avoid

Very modern halal restaurant on a dual carriageway surprised me. They have a buffet, which I think was absolutely amazing. The starters and desserts were top but would recommend working on the mains. Overall, I would give 4/5.

Can honestly say this is the worse curry I have ever eaten in my life and I love currys The spice In Everything is crazy hot I had chicken korma witch didn't have one bit off coconut in there rice was a dirty brown colour and also the bread was soggy very bed food would not recommend to the homeless Was full off cumin Horrible smell as you walk I. I ordered pilau rice and ended up with rubbery brown rice. absolutely rubbish. the meat was OK in parts but very chewy. not had a takeaway in years and won't be having another one soon

Visiting for the weekend, we trawled the local area for a takeaway with ok food hygiene, not easy it seems! Choosing Aagrah and struggling with their online order system I ordered a takeaway over the phone and had the order read back to us. An hour later a cheerful driver delivered our food in beautiful boxes… We opened them when he’d left and struggled to work out who’s was who’s food! We had ordered 1 lamb Bhuna 1 pilau rice 1 chicken tikka masala 3 chicken tikka kebab with salad and raita 2 boiled rice All of it luke warm which was a bit of a worry, we actually thought we’d got the wrong order We had a lamb dish, a brown chicken dish?and 3 boxes of chicken meat covered in greasy onions with 2 salads, one small pot of raita and 4 boxes of brown rice. It was £71 delivered. We would not recommend.

This review is for the food only. However, being an establishment that's offers Halal dining, I have also mentioned a few other things that people will find helpful. Food is average at best. All chicken dishes taste the same. In starters, the fish pakoras were hard and didn't taste right. The seekh kebabs were good though. And so we're the chicken tikka botis. Lamb chops were acceptable. Quite a few deserts on the menu were unavailable. Naan and roti were fresh. Chicken in chicken palak was under cooked. Credit to the staff who took it back and took it off the bill. We visited the establishment on our way back from a long journey and had another 120 mins of travel left. We were running out of time for Asar prayer so had to visit the place. A few things to note... No place to make wudhu as the toilets were not really clean. We made wudhu in the car park after using the toilets. No place to offer salah inside. Not even an office. There was music being played and the place serves alcohol. The staff did turn off the music at our request and seated us in a corner where we could offer salah next to the table on our own mussalah. They did not mind that at all. So full credit to them for this. However, it's worth noting that the place was almost empty with only a few other covers. We stayed about 2.5 hrs. Prayed Magrib and Isha there. Had it not been for the rain and the need to make wudhu/toilets on a country road, we would not have eaten there for reasons other than food.

One of our favourite Indian eateries. Cant beat the food and it has a nice friendly atmosphere with good table service. We keep coming back.

This is a good traditional curry restaurant. You're not going to find some funky fusion food here, or any surprises. This place sells good curry at reasonable prices. The staff are professional and the building is clean and tidy. Can't go wrong really!

It's one of those Indian restaurants that does not use the same curry base for every curry. We ordered a selection of curries to share and they were all flavoursome and delicious. I was particularly impressed with the fish curry. However, my fiancé was not as delighted with the chicken pasanda, which was not on the menu but made specifically for her. One tip, get a jug of mango lassi.

Dîner le 11 juillet 2023 Accueil et cuisine excellentes. On avait choisi le buffet qui est très complet : massala, khorma et samoussas étaient super bons. Tarif très correct. Seule observation : accès pas évident le long de l’a64 dans le sens York-Leeds. Mais ça vaut le coup de faire demi-tour pour découvrir ce bon restaurant !

As soon as we had finished eating, they quickly cleared the table and brought the bill. It felt like we were being kicked out even though it was only 8pm and nobody waiting for tables

We were staying at The Travelodge opposite and needed a place to eat. The restaurant and staff were fine but the food poor. We made the mistake of having the buffet which gave us lots of choice but much of the food tasted very similar. We would have done better to have chosen something from the menu. The bar is reasonably priced. I probably wouldn't eat there again.

Fantastic food ..served hot and delicious probably the best Indian restaurant we have been to in a very long time. Staff were very helpful and friendly..would definitely recommend

Overpriced, swimming in oil, even had the cheek to charge £3.50 per bottle for tap water !! On A64 , far better restaurants close by in tadcaster , Leeds and York.

Party of 3 went on a Monday for the all you can eat buffet. Several starters mains and puddings to choose from along side option to order dishes from menu at extra cost. Food was hot, tasty and staff maintained and replenished buffet dishes regularly.

We come here regularly for the Monday buffet and occasionally a la carte. We are never disappointed. The staff are lovely and service excellent. Food is fantastic whatever you have. A firm favourite.

Haven’t been to this aagrah for a couple of years I normally go to the chapel Allerton branch , but after all this time they recognise me was very nice and friendly , I only got takeout but the food was amazing, I can’t understand why it so quiet I will defo be going and eating in. This what I said after my first time of going back after a bit away but I had a chance to get a takeaway from them again and this time not so impressed I ordered Lamb chops main course with rice and a kema buna the buna was very nice but the chops when I normally order them I get a least 7 but this time I only got 4 which you get for in the starter and one of the chops was just the bone no meat so only 3 really when I rang up to say something about this I was told it was the chefs discretion how many they put in “what” so let me understand you put your prices up from £10:99 to £15:99 charge me way too much for delivery and give me less chips than if I had ordered the starter lamb chops and when I challenged this the guy on the phone in my opinion come across as tho he didn’t care and was rude not good Aagrah I’ve been a customer for 30 years and told so many people about you so I have to drop the stars from a 5 to a 3

Excellent food. Generous portions beautifully cooked .... Very pleasant helpful staff. Very highly recommended place to eat Indian.

Food flavour is ok, not amazing, not bad. Dishes were a bit watery. Onion bhaji is 2 onion rings, no joke! Bit expensive for the quality. Service was great and the atmosphere is really nice!

What more to say? Fabulous food, lovely and friendly staff and great ambience. A bit too far to travel there regularly at this time of year, but whenever passing on our visits to family, we always call in on the way home.

Absolute bang average. Spent £100 for 4 people, which when you consider a takeaway is expensive. We don't mind paying it when it's good. However, it was not. Bang average. Nowt like Wed get at home at abduls, for less than half the price.

Very nice! I like to eat food and they provide food here. It was like being in India but I've not been to India. I ate all the curry and wanted to go back for more as I can be a greedy guts. My wife said no though and that I'm fat enough. I got offended and ate hers too.

Staying at Premier Inn on A64! Restaurant is just down the A64 literally half a mile towards Leeds! Food and service were impeccable! We shared a tandoori starter which was mixture of chicken, lamb, fish in a sizzling bed of onions! My husband had the chicken Sindhi which was a creamy korma like curry! I had the lamb Punjabi Massala! Both delicious! Thank you! Recommended ❤️

Came here on a whim after losing the will to cook when I get home. I was pleasantly surprised to see it I do love a good curry so I had high expectations for this place & they delivered. Their meat curry was pretty decent, cooked well and succulent. The chicken dishes were a bit dry, might well be because they were being kept warm they dried out or overcooked. Then the desert selection was not vast, the portion was literally the equivalent of 1 profiterole in a little ramekin. A small small serving of milk cake with fruits in. Overall its a decent place for a standard curry and I would definitely come again. Though the floor is very uneven so you end up tripping as the lumps blend into the maroon carpet.

Had the evening buffet, Friendly staff and great tasting meats. Only downfall was the rice was abit dry but will definitely visit again.

Attended as a couple around 8.30pm on a Friday evening after passing in the A64 earlier in the day. The restaurant wasn’t too busy and we were seated immediately. We ordered from the main menu as the buffet runs from Sunday to Thursday. We were blown away with the good service and the friendliness of all the staff. They were happy to accommodate all our needs and even cooked a dish that was not on the menu. After around 30 minutes the food arrived, it was hot and was delicious.

Staff very friendly, place very clean Its got to be the BEST INDIAN meal i have ever had. We will be comming back.

I stayed at the nearby Premier Inn at Bilbrough Top on the A64 just outside York. The onsite restuarant was super busy, so I took a 10 minute walk along the road to the Aagrah Kashmir Indian restaurant. I was surprised at how busy - this out of the way restaurant was on a mid week evening. The staff were great ,Gazza the Mngr was superb as was Danny the young guy who served me. I choose the Sizzling Shahi Chicken with onions, peppers and garlic, which I have to say was completely delicious. It's well work seeking this little gem out, especially those who are staying at the nearby Premier Inn. Thanks for the hospitality guys!

Chose to go to Aagrah due to travel and visiting venues, so early meal required before getting to accommodation. There was a buffet meal deal that evening so tried it out. Excellent food well cooked good choices and friendly staff. Great value, would recommend anytime. The main menu looked great would re visit if in the area.

Excellent service again. Very friendly staff. I decided to try something different tonight and had their mixed grill. seekh kebab, tandoori chicken, chops, cod, rice and veggies. If you only have a normal size stomach i’d advise to not have or share a starter, this dish is BIG. Can’t fault this restaurant other than i’d love them to open in Birmingham sometime.
